There was a faint yawn from Dex as well as a little stretch as he ported himself to Hex’s nest, though most importantly to Hex himself. It was only a matter of seconds before Hex had a small god sitting in his lap, curling up and lazily nuzzling him. He was rather tired it seemed, and in search of affection.

“Mmm..Hey Hex, how are things going?”

Even his voice was soft and ever so sluggish, made one wonder what tired him out so much. Though, he did seem to look a bit more content now that he was in Hex’s lap. In fact, he was even letting out a very faint little purr as he snuggled himself into the other.

“Oh?” Hex rose a brow. “Is that Fae I see?” He chuckled quietly, shaking his head. “I knew kids were curious, but that.. man she really takes after Dex...”

There was a time where Karen once trusted Benjamin - Benjamin, not Dex, that was important to note - a time where she had felt pity for the man. Broken, lost, unsure, he’d needed a friend, someone who cared, who perhaps understood, and Karen had been that. She’d looked past his transgressions, past the blood that stained his hands, his face, his soul, and she’d given him a chance. She’d opened herself up and opened her heart to the man, let her guard down and never once considered that Benjamin was not actually Benjamin. That he was still Poindexter, Dex, that he was still the man who had the blood of her friends on his hands.

HIs false face had slipped slowly over time. So slowly...and then there he was, in all of his blood-soaked horror.

When his words snapped at her, Karen glared at him with narrowed eyes, jaw tensing. Her hands were tied, rope digging into the flesh of her wrists. Blue eyes burned with a raw rage, hands struggling to slip free of the raw rope but there was no such luck. Dex had tied her hands tight, tight enough that the circulation was almost cut off. “Let me go and I will.” It was not said demurely, not said gently or delicately but spit out with the rage that seemed to burn inside of her.

“Fucking asshole.”

This is Dexpher, he’s basically Dex, Nypher, and Karma all in one shared vessel. They’re a constant hot mess and only one of them can have control over the vessel at a time. It’s wild honestly
