Charles and Ray Eames for their experimentation
Master of Design in Product Design. It is a two and a half year program where design projects form the core of our education, with a gradual increase in level of complexity and cover broad areas that product designers are likely to encounter in their professional careers. The teaching approach starts with understanding products in their own physical boundary and concluding with understanding them as part of the entire system. This is done through the three major design projects- Simple Products, Technically Complex Products, and Systems Thinking.
I am currently working as a freelance product designer
Proposal- ‘Discover the Next Space’ (???) -space where one can be completely him-/herself (at peace with whoever/however he/she is) be open about their insecurities, addictions, fetishes, sexual inclinations, struggles. There are times when we feel alone even after being in the middle of everyone. The realization that one is not alone in any given situation is comforting and sufficient enough to help them overcome difficulties on their own. A space that facilitates expression. To find the meaning of life through ‘Ikigai’. (Mayur, look for any experiment or exercise on this). A no-brainer place. Trans music, healing music, ecstatic music, soothing real visuals- as in tangible material in motion, no screens, kinetic sculptures. Spaces that help one keep sane like stress doodling to me.
My design process/approach to executing the proposed concept (???)- heavy rain vs use of paper in the space design (contradiction), enormous scale or illusion. Naruto’s waterfall of truth. Instagram helps me express in tough times. Land of Rain (pain and Konan)

Lucie: Very glad to have met Jonathan Keep exhibiting his Digital Pots at Puls in Brussels. Those are realised by using a 3D delta printer for ceramic he made himself. Here is a link to his open instructions to make your own.

Lucie: After a very inspiring and insightful meeting this morning with Alain Monnens, getting back to work on the origami project in finding to assemble bigger pieces from laser cut clay pattern. I did two trials, working from the inside and from the outside (using a pre cut cardboard mould). The second trial was working much better until the shrinking of the clay. Work to be continued...

Lucie: Cheers! It has been 42 days since I ordered the first print of the cup. Finally glazed and fired, here is one of the two first usable cups. This morning, I could barely believe that it could hold water!

Lucie: Laser cutting trial on slip casted clay / It dried two fast before I could assemble the elements together. The advantage of this technique is that the surface is really smooth and regular. It gives a very fine engraving result.
