Actually no! I’ve drawn all my kiddos at least once except for my very most recent, who I have plans to get a reference made for eventually. Unfortunately my OCs never got much interest in the fandom so I generally kept them to myself. But if you’d allow, here they are :3

OC HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE 2024. day twenty-six - october 26th. HORROR SUBGENRES.

Meribeth of DunBroch in a Monster Horror.

She just wanted to be alone for a few hours. After being robbed of her last nerve by her roomate, she deserved that much.

She’s done this walk hundreds of times, wandered across the bridge and past the Enchanted Lake, into the deeper woods.

At first, she doesn’t assume the worst when she starts to hear heavy footfall. It‘s normal for the track team to occasionally run their circuits in the woods. She becomes concerned, though, when the sounds intensify and multiply. When there‘s a roar in the distance, that’s when she starts to worry.

Meribeth is familiar with all the stories of her grandfather's bear-fighting exploits. They’re lethal, she knows that. She’s aware of their sound. She’s aware of the risks.

And yet, against her better judgment, she runs, and she knows they’re following…

The child of the Snow Queen (based largely on Lev Atamanov's 1957 film. I am well-aware of the fact that this isn't Disney but neither is Morgana so like I can do whatever the hell I want). He/They

Soren is my main and most developed OC. I love the idea that disgraced and ex-royals and nobility have their own little social circle on the Isle, and Soren tends to float around that. He is the Snow Prince, after all. However, he also frequents the pirates and acts as a sort-of spy for Uma. Has a complicated, blurred relationship with Gil but they sort themselves out post-D3. Their whole inner complex is pretty run-of-the-mill for the Descendants characters: What they want to be for their parent is entirely against what they want for themselves. Their mother, before resorting to essentially total neglect, wanted them to be just like her: Cold and emotionless. But without access to her magic, that was a pretty hard feat and essentially didn't work. They then internalize the idea that, in order to gain their mother's praise, they just need to do better at being immune to all emotions and emotional ties. If my previous comment about Gil doesn't say enough, then let me be perfectly clear in saying that it doesn't work. He feels more connected and at home with the pirates than anywhere else, even after he gets into Auradon, and it continues to fuck with their sense of identity until post-D2.

(With Soren being my main, first, and most developed Descendants OC, he's the one I ended up forcing into the movies. If I ever end up writing a fic for him, like, all of D2 is gonna end up different XD)

Tamara is someone I came up with for my own AU of the fic Regime Change by Link_Heights (I love that fic so much holy shit I HIGHLY recommend it), but have since turned them into a background friend for Jane and Lonnie. I keep going back-and-forth on making her a fast flying fairy because I thought it'd be really funny if she was the same fairy type as Vidia and a fauna fairy because that's the type of fairy the IRL I loosely based her off of says she would want to be. I'm leaning towards fast flying, though, because I love the idea of her doing track and having to train herself not to use her wings while running. It also creates an interesting clash between Auradon tradition and Pixie Hollow tradition - in Auradon, people tend to dress according to their family's colors, but in Pixie Hollow, they dress according to the colors of the type of fairy they are. A love-interest for Harry within the AU, but definitely not a peromanent one since she was really just using him to rebel against her mom.

(Don't ask me how Tinker Bell has a kid when I'm going by Tinker Bel movies canon. It's Descendants, half of the characters' parents should be dead and none of the time periods of the original stories match up despite all of the technology being modern. Nothing makes sense, anyway. Once again, I can do whatever the hell I want.)

Sika, Mimi, and Oscar are all the main (and only) musicians on the Isle. If I had to base their personalities on any musicians, I honestly wouldn't have a comparison for Sika but he is very chillaxed and laid back, Mimi would be Avril Lavigne, and Oscar would Will Wood. They all dabble in different types of music, but Sika mains alternative and hard rock, Mimi mains pop-punk and pop, and Oscar mains jazz fusion and folk punk. Sika doesn't have very high goals and is content to live out the rest of his life on the Isle. As long as he can play music, he tells himself he's fine. In reality, he's definitely really depressed, but that's a conversation for when he leaves the Isle. He doesn't have a stage name. Mimi wants to tour the world one day, and is essentially the family disappointment for it. She wants nothing to do with witch craft and her grades in school (she goes to the witch school on the isle) reflect that. This affects her more than she lets on. Her stage name is Mammon. Oscar has a wonderful relationship with his father(s)* and all he really wants to do is live in a world where he's not constantly ridiculed or made into an easy target by other kids on the Isle. As much as he loves music, it's not something he can see himself doing forever and really just wants to see Halloween Town where he knows, deep down, he truly belongs. He'd also love to join - not take over, join - his father on Boogie Man business when he gets older! His stage name is OzRock.

I got like nothing on Kira and Adrien 😭 I swear to God it's not because they're AKs, I just really don't have anything to go on with them. I feel like they'd be very basic characters, overall! Adrien is being raised to claim the throne, since he's a year older, but neither he nor Kira really want that responsibility. They both idolize Jane Porter and Milo Thatch (and, although this is something neither of them would ever dare to say out loud, Captain Hook), as they would love to explore the different corners of the world. Adrien wants to do so in the name of science, while Kira wants to do so in the name of fun. Personality-wise, though, Kira takes more after both Anna and Kristoff, while Adrien takes more after his aunt Elsa. Like I said, they're very basic.

Hansen is literally just A Guy. He also tends to frequent the royal/noble circles on the Isle and is quite literally the only person to consistently break through Soren's 'I Must Be Like My Mother' complex. He dated Evie for a hot second there but he's very gay and very down bad for Anthony Tremaine so it didn't last long. He tends to blend into the crowd on the Isle, and he is perfectly fine with that. Unlike most kids on the Isle, he is very vocal about wanting to be nothing like his father, but he means that in more ways than one. While, yes, he doesn't want to be a villain, he also doesn't want to carry the title and pressure of being royalty. He literally just wants to be A Guy. His dream is to open a bar or bakery or pottery or any other small shop where he can live a relaxed, content life. (Of course, in the case of Anthony, since he knows how dead-set Anthony is on carrying on his family's legacy, Hansen also wouldn't mind being a house-husband).

Tobias is arguably even less thought-out than Kira and Adrien because at least I have a basic foundation for them set in stone. Tobias is essentially all up in the air. I'd like to imagine that King Candy has a candy store on the Isle but also uses it as a cover-up for like. Making and selling drugs. He's a pretty decent father, and likes to make sure Toby is always okay and included in his work (for better or for worse) and is doing well and school and he's okay overall. However, he's told Toby stories of his glory days since it was young, and that has definitely had an impact on it. Toby is a fantastic mechanic and has gotten itself out of a good amount of trouble due to promising to figure out generators or small vehicles for people on the Isle. (It has also, somehow, ended up on Cruella de Vil's good side due to its ability to maintain her car, which is a nice bonus to his minimal reputation.) Toby's dream, though, is to be an even better racer than its father, Vanellope von Schweetz, or any of the Sugar Rush racers. It understands where its father went wrong, but is still mad at his enemies for never giving him a second chance. Couldn't they have just saw that he was hurting? Well, being on the Isle has given it a life-time of hurting, so when it finally gets off the Isle, it's gonna show everybody what that can lead to. Also, uh, slight side-note, it and Soren are twins. I just thought it would be really funny if those two had kids together because of royalty reasons and then got really attached to the concept after thinking about how that would impact Tobias and Soren's relationship.

I'm also gonna answer an ask that @angelwiththeblue-box sent me about these guys with some other miscellaneous stuff that's probably just gonna end up being me rambling a bunch about whatever train of thought I latch onto first. 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗦

Turns out my brain never knows when to stop (😅), so now I have even more plot bunnies for Descendants and I thought I’d share them with you!! Keep in mind that I probably won’t do official intro posts for most of these, but you can still feel free to ask me questions about them if you want!!

Bella Wolf, daughter of the Big Bad Wolf, poly Carlos/Jane ship, Fivel Stewart FC. A member of the VKs, despite being a total sweetheart for a villain kid and never really wanting to be evil, because she was the only kid who tried to befriend Evie when she had her mother were exiled and she and Evie have been stuck like glue ever since. Not originally selected to go to Auradon, but the VKs managed to sneak her through the barrier and Ben decided to let her stay. Genuinely befriends Jane pretty quickly since they’re both really sweet and quiet, and doesn’t necessarily like her friends using the girl, but she goes along with it and it breaks her heart to distance herself from Jane after Family Day. Has also had a crush on Carlos forever but doesn’t realize she likes Jane too until after Jane and Carlos start dating, and she thinks she’s missed her chance with both of them until they approach her about being a part of their relationship. Has been purely in human form, like her dad, for most of her life because of the magic blocker on the Isle, but when she gets to Auradon she discovers that she can shift into a wolf and back at will, and also has heightened senses and reflexes, which she uses to join the tourney team after it becomes more inclusive after the second movie.

Charlotte Cogsworth, daughter of Cogsworth, Gil ship, India Eisley FC. Homeschooled in Auradon’s palace for most of her life, because she’s been in training to follow in her father’s footsteps and become an advisor in Ben’s future court and also because Cogsworth is a very protective father, but Ben manages to convince his parents to convince her father to let her go to Auradon Prep shortly before the VKs come to Auradon (and she almost gets pulled out of school again when Cogsworth learns about villain kids coming, but thankfully it doesn’t happen). A bit socially inept since she hasn’t spent a lot of time around kids her age other than Ben, but a very sweet and fiercely intelligent girl who’s accepting of the VKs right away. Offers to tutor the Sea Three and catch them up on any education they might lack after Ben brings them to Auradon after the second movie, and falls in love with Gil that way. Absolute besties with Ben since they grew up together, and is also really good friends with Lonnie and Evie and Doug (and also forms a kind of unexpected friendship with Uma after a while). Her father nearly has a heart attack when he finds out she’s dating Gaston’s son, but he eventually comes around.

Beauregard “Beau” Beast, son of Belle and Adam, poly Harry/Jay ship. Younger than Ben by less than a year, but has always grown up in his brother’s shadow as the “spare heir”; even though Ben never tried to make him feel less than, he’s always known that his father didn’t care about him the same way, that he was meant to just be Ben’s right hand and nothing else. Inherited his mother’s love for reading and knowledge and has spent most of his life locked in his room or the palace library studying history and politics, hoping that he could become a well-known senator or ambassador to another kingdom. A bit wary of the VKs at first, but eventually befriends all of them and starts dating Jay (to Adam’s consternation, especially since Ben’s already dating Mal), and winds up being the one Uma’s pirate crew kidnaps instead of Ben when they go to the Isle to bring Mal home. He and Harry are intruiged by each other and flirt a little while he’s captive (awkwardly on Beau’s part), but he finds out after the Sea Three come to Auradon that Jay and Harry were actually involved for a short while before the fight between the VKs and Uma’s crew got really bad. Eventually Jay and Beau realize that they (still, on Jay’s part) have actual genuine feelings for Harry, and invite him to be part of their relationship. Beau is very sweet but intensely awkward and insecure due to never being the first choice growing up, but as he gains more friends and starts dating Jay and Harry he’s able to come out of his shell and starts being able to stand up for himself.

Wesley Darling, son of Wendy Darling, Mal ship, Tom Holland FC. The son of Wendy and the man she married after becoming a writer and putting Neverland behind her, but there are rumours that he’s actually Peter Pan’s son because of all the mischief he gets into. Hates Auradon’s thinking of “moving past” magic and how perfect and prim everyone pretends to be, so he’s constantly pulling pranks and getting into trouble with Fairy Godmother. Immediately recognizes that Ben’s under a love spell because he sees him eat the spelled cookie and approaches Mal about it, not to confront her or rat her out but just because he’s impressed by her prank skills (he obviously doesn’t realize that it’s part of a bigger plan). He and Mal fall in love leading up to the coronation, and Wesley is so relieved when she chooses good and admits to Ben that she doesn’t have any feelings for him - which he’s fine with because he’s a good friend and genuinely likes Wesley - so they can be together. The very definition of a class clown, laid-back and mischievous and doesn’t take a lot seriously, but also a lot smarter than most people think and would do anything for the people he cares about.

Aurora Andersen, daughter of Ariel and Eric, poly Mal/Evie ship, Zendaya Coleman FC. Ariel and Eric’s younger child, after her older sister Melody who’s already graduated Auradon Prep. Shares her mother’s curiousity and sense of adventure, and so she makes a strong effort to befriend the VKs when they first come to Auradon. Realizes she has feelings for both Evie and Mal after they almost steal the wand at the coronation, and is thrilled when they choose good and decide to stay in Auradon. Confesses to them sometime between the first and second movies, and they all become Auradon Prep’s power throuple. Pretty much exactly like Ariel in terms of personality, bold and inquisitive and kind, but with Eric’s occasional recklessness thrown in. Can change between mermaid and human forms at will, thanks to Fairy Godmother’s magic. Wanted to be on Auradon Prep’s swim team but it was deemed unfair since she’s a mermaid, so she settles on joining the R.O.A.R. team after Lonnie becomes captain.

Delfina Madrigal, daughter of Dolores Madrigal, Lonnie ship, Rachel Zegler FC. Daughter of Dolores and Mariano, and the oldest of the five children that her father always wanted. Received a gift from the family miracle on her fifth birthday like the rest of her family, becoming able to create illusions through her singing voice. Homeschooled for a good portion of her life, like most Madrigals, but Mirabel, now head of the family, decided she and a few of her cousins should be allowed to go to Auradon Prep after the coronation, since she thought that King Adam’s attitude towards magic might be changing. A clumsy lesbian disaster, a bit like her Tía Mirabel, who gets an insta-crush on Lonnie and whose brain tends to stop working when she’s around her. The two of them get together shortly after the events of the second movie, and Delfina attends all of Lonnie’s R.O.A.R. tournaments religiously despite not really knowing anything about the sport. A bit quiet and nervous like her mother, but also has her quiet strength and her tía’s tendency to let her mouth run faster than her brain. Joins Auradon Prep’s acapella club and makes them into sensations, due to her gift making their performances into full spectacles.

Theodore “Theo” Maldonia, child of Tiana and Naveen, Chad ship, Jonathan Daviss FC. He/they kid of Tiana and Naveen and heir to the throne of Maldonia. Very studious, quiet, and dedicated to learning how to be the best ruler he can be, but also doesn’t have very many friends as a result. Unexpectedly winds up becoming close to Chad after being assigned to tutor him when he starts failing a class, and actually helps him to reconsider his ways and mindset when the VKs come to Auradon. They develop a crush on him eventually but acknowledge that he still has a ways to go before becoming a better person, so it’s a while before he asks him out, but they’re very cute when they do get together. Through dating Chad, Theo starts to come out of their shell a little, and becomes really good friends with Doug and Carlos. A member of the Auradon Prep student council, and eventually becomes the tourney coach’s assistant as an effort for them to better learn how to plan strategies.

Maizie Hatter, child of the Mad Hatter, poly VKs ship, Erin Kellyman FC. Wacky non-binary sweetheart, and a complete outcast in Auradon, as most kids from Wonderland are, due to their odd style and outlandish personality. When the VKs originally come to Auradon (already all dating each other), they try to befriend Maizie because they figure it will be easy to convince them to help them steal Fairy Godmother’s wand, but all four of them find themselves falling in love with Maizie over time. After they all choose good at the coronation - and Mal profusely apologizes to Ben for the love spell and explains that she doesn’t really have feelings for him - they ask Maizie to be a part of their relationship, which they’re only too happy to do. An incredible artist and lover of tea who forms Auradon Prep’s art club with Mal and gets all four of their partners addicted to rose hip tea. Exactly what you’d expect the child of the Mad Hatter to be, wacky and curious and often living inside their own head, but also a lot more observant and smart than people expect. Becomes besties with Ben after the events of the first movie when they start to become more accepted by Auradon society and, later, the Sea Three.

Penelope (daughter of Pinocchio and Alice) Penelope always smells of wood and paint, and always has fresh sawdust on her apron from carving; she is very artsy and loves sketching and painting, as well as reading books. (Her grandfather Geppetto taught her how to carve when she was younger, and now she loves creating and making things.)

She is much like her father (happy-go-lucky, etc), but she is also mature for her age. She is 14 years old.

She is also a dancer (mainly dances ballet, contemporary, and tap).

Her nickname is Ellie, and her favorite snack is warm cinnamon rolls.

Sophie (daughter of Stromboli) Sophie is a dancer and a gymnast, and loves performing. Like her father, she has a bit of a temper when she gets angry (but not as much).

Chrissy (daughter of the Coachman) Chrissy and her father are almost polar opposites. She owns a small whip that her father has gifted her, she has vowed to herself never to use it to beat animals (she loves animals and would never treat them cruelly); she only uses it to practice whip-cracking tricks. Her eyes sometimes flash green when she's angry.

She is 15 years old.

Chrissy loves animals; she has taken in a baby donkey, which she has named Posy. (the Coachman was going to leave Posy to die, as he didn't need any more donkeys at the moment; Chrissy started to care for her)

Evelyn (daughter of The Blue Fairy) Evelyn is half-fairy, half-human. She is a rebel, and very sarcastic. She provides the dark humor in her friend group. Evelyn is very kind and supportive of her friends, despite being sarcastic. Despite magic not being used in Auradon, she uses her magic often; using her wand made from sapphire.

She is 16 years old, and loves black leather clothing (she thinks they make her look tough and cool); she also loves chocolate

Petunia (daughter of Lampwick -and Tiger Lily-) Requested/inspired by @casinotrio1965 (shared OC)

Petunia is the young daughter of Lampwick and Tiger Lily. She loves playing pool (and even has a custom billiards cue stick that her father bought for her) and is really good at it. She loves comfy clothes, and her favorite drink is warm ginger tea with honey and lemon.

Petunia's favorite color is lavender, and her second favorite color is green. She loves floral scented candles. (I apologize, I could only find a darker lavender in Gacha and not a lighter one lol)

She also does a bit of yoga as a way to relax and to keep in shape.

She is 14 years old.

Madelyn Hatter (daughter of the Mad Hatter) Everyone calls her Maddy/Maddie for short. Much like her father, she loves unbirthday celebrations and tea parties, and she's a child at heart. She loves to make her friends smile and help them out on their bad days. Maddy loves peach tea (especially iced teas), and her favorite snacks are jammie dodgers.

Maddy is 15 years old.

I already tagged you in another ask about them so I'm gonna use this one to ramble for a little bit about them :333

When I was talking about Oscar, I brought up his relationship with his father(s). And there's a reason for that! Because he only technically has two. I, personally, don't think that the barrier blocks out ALL magic, because in a world where magic is so intrinsically tied into some things' biology, it would be insane cruelty and straight-up mass murder to block out magic, completely. Only people that really pay attention or experience this first-hand are actually aware of it, such as Soren (and the Snow Queen), who is still magically immune to the cold under the barrier, or Dr. Facilier, who has had his Shadow for so long that it's now permanently tied to his being and still has it under the barrier (which I actually included in a fic I wrote about a month back). Oogie Boogie is another character who is held together by almost entirely magic, and as such, wouldn't be able to live without access to it.

So, when the Isle and Auradon both started experiencing a baby boom, Oogie Boogie didn't wanna be left-out.

And he Frankenstein-ed a child using some of his own bugs and fabric, dead body parts, and a bunch of electricity.

With the help of Dr. Facilier.

Making Dr. Facilier his second father.

And Freddy and Celia his half-sisters.

(Oscar did get to grow up alongside other kids, by the way, it was just that every few years his human body parts needed to be replaced.)

In my version of D1 that includes Soren, they blackmail the Core Four into sneaking them into Auradon with them in exchange for not reporting their plan to steal the wand to the people that come to pick them up. The whole time he's Auradon, he's communicating with Uma through a pager that he got Toby to fix for him. Post-D1, Soren talks to Ben about getting some more kids across the barrier sooner rather than later, but he's backs himself into a corner in the process:

Do they vouch for bringing Uma, Harry, and Gil over, do they vouch for bringing Hansen over, or do they vouch for bringing Toby over?

Or, in other words:

Do they vouch for bringing their crew over, do they vouch for bringing their best friend over, or do they vouch for bringing their brother over?

The conversation with Ben happens during the post-Coronation party, after they revealed their identity to save Auradon, and it's the first time they are actually admitting to themselves that they do feel love for people, and that it's something they can't fight, anymore. Furthermore, it's something that they can't continue to lie to themselves about, anymore.

And immediately after coming to this realization, they have to choose between the people that they love the most.

It completely fucks up his view of love for a hot minute, since, when they ultimately choose their crew (because they're the ones he's been in contact with the whole time), he ends up convincing himself it's because he loves his crew more. And he feels so bad about that. It also continues to fuck up his relationship with Gil, because, in his head, Gil should be with someone who loves him above all, and obviously that can't be him, because he prioritized his loyalty to his crew and Uma over the other people he's close to when convincing Ben to bring more people over. He has no idea that he can love people equally while also loving them in different ways, or that there's not necessarily anything wrong with loving someone more than someone else.

In terms of a smaller moment, post-D3, when Hansen comes over to Auradon and starts college, I'd like to imagine that he applies to a school in Arendelle in order to make-up for the trouble his father caused. And, much to his surprise, Anna actually invites him to live in the castle with them while he's in school, because she wants to give him a chance.

(Kira develops the WORST crush on him and Adrien sits and waits to see how long it'll take for her to realize Hansen's gay since she refused to listen to Adrien the first time he tried to tell her.)

In relation to Kira and Adrien, I like to believe that Captain Hook is a good father, so he's actually one of the first OVs to settle down in Auradon post-D3. So, when they find out that Hansen knows a guy (Soren) who works with a guy (Harry) who's Captain Hook's son, they take the first break from school to visit Soren together and track down Captain Hook. They geek out SO HARD, BRO. It catches Hook COMPLETELY off-guard. The first thing he says when they finally shut up long enough for him to get a word in is, "Is this* allowed?"

*Auradonians being huge fans of villains.

Tamara doesn't like Peter Pan. Tinker Bell does not like that Tamara doesn't like Peter Pan. They regularly fight about this.

In that regard, Tamara's relationship with her mother is strained. Tamara is half-human, which is how Tink was able to have a daughter in the first-place, so she feels like her mother doesn't entirely understand what it's like for her in Auradon or Pixie Hollow. (Me? Projecting my identity issues onto my OCs? More likely than you'd think.) Additionally, since fairies (from Neverland) having relationships with humans is a fairly new trend, with kids spawning from those relationships being even newer. Most fairies that do go that route end up leaving behind Pixie Hollow altogether. So Tink doesn't really have any idea what she's doing. And then there's the fact that they're two different types of fairies, so Tink really has no idea how to bond with her. Tink once asked Tami to wear green on family day, since she was under the impression that Tami usually wore purple/red (again, I can't decide between fast flying or fauna) around campus. Tami wears green around campus, though, (which is representative of the fact that she actually does really want to be closer with her mother, she just has no idea how to achieve that, either), and decides that, since Tink had the audacity to ask (Tami had no idea Tink didn't know she wore green around campus), she wore purple/red on purpose. (If she were to wear purple, I'd like to imagine the extra cherry on top would be that she asked to borrow some of Mal's clothes alskdjf. [Within my AU of Regime Change, people that heard and saw their fight on family day think that, surely, things can't get any worse, but then two family days later, she introduces her new boyfriend, Harry Hook alksdjf].)

Of the Tempo Trio (who are definitely a polycule of some kind, by the way), Mimi has the easiest time finding a music following in Auradon. Her more pop-y songs land easy and people who are really dedicated venture into the rest of her music from there. Oscar is in the middle in terms of difficulty, since her folk-punk music intrigues some older people, but overall does so-so at reaching his target audience. Sika has the hardest time since his sound and lyrics are either very harsh to match the Isle or very personally concerning to match his attitude about life. Mimi, when she decides to take a gap year to focus on her music career post-D3, ends up getting them to perform with her from time-to-time, which always ends up helping them grow their following the most.

Soren's title of 'Prince' can't technically be taken away from him once he enters Auradon, because, in my head, it's not technically a real title. It's really more of a human-term that was applied his mother ('Queen,' in her case) to better understand what exactly it was her mother did. Soren would keep the power that came with taking over his mother's role no matter what, so the title is really meaningless. She says this to Audrey at some point in either the Soren-insert version of Wicked World or D2 and Evie just feels so vindicated while Audrey is just so pissed.
