Modern Dentistry = Inhumane & Unnecessary
The medical industrial complex in the US is sociopathic.
Specifically, modern dentistry.
Blind trust & faith, excessive authoritarianism, abusive practices, capitalist exploitation are all the norm.
Modern dentistry.
Reddit:
âI am so in shock.
I asked the receptionist â is it normal for the dentist to âlose an instrumentâ during root canal and she immediately said, âYes, its a known complicationâ.â
Soulless, evil, depraved.
Reddit:
âI was referred to a âvery good endodontistâ to remove the file but I have to come back to the same dentist to have the crown placed.
Its the same dentist who lost his instrument during my root canal!
The dentist was also SUPER rough with the file during the root canal and HE HAD TO KEEP MY JAW IN PLACE WITH HIS HAND AS IT KEPT MOVING.â
Soulless & sociopathic.
Toxic, capitalist pigs, evil energy vampires.
Soulless sociopaths.
Ruined lives. Suicides. Early deaths. Young deaths. Ruined marriages. Ruined careers. Ruined relationships. Depression. Anxiety. Alcohol dependency. Opioid addiction. Illicit drug addiction. Binge eating. Food addiction. Eating disorders. Compulsive behaviors. Neurotic behavior. Disordered behavior.

Dentistry Business plan
1.) Cavity/Decay/Broken Teeth
â˘Dentist: Fillings - poorly done.
â˘Dentist: Crowns - improperly placed or sized.
2.) Decay/Possible Nerve Damage - Improper Fillings & Crowns
â˘Dentist: Unnecessary root canal
3.) Unnecessary failed root canal
â˘Failed root canal caused by dentist error, infection, bacteria or there was no root canal needed in the first place so periodontal ligament etc damage is done due to how invasive the procedure is.
â˘All root canals will eventually have to have retreatment/extraction.
â˘No canal is âpermanentâ although many dentists present root canals as âone & doneâ â theyâre not.
4.) Retreatment or Referral - 2nd Root Canal
â˘Retreatment: Dentist does a second root canal after fucking up the first one.
â˘Referral: Dentist refers patient to an Endodontist, a specialist who specializes in root canals. Given theres already been a failed root canal, chances are high the second root canal will fail as well.
5.) Extraction
â˘Dentist: Tooth extraction - all of that to just remove the tooth anyway - after thousands has been spent, trauma done to jaw, gums, mouth, teeth, bleeding, pain, etc.
6.) Implant
â˘Dentist: Implants to replace tooth that was extracted after multiple failed root canals.
7.) Wash, rinse, repeat
â˘Wash rinse repeat with up to a dozen or more teeth â check reddit for patient stories detailing multiple root canals, infections, drill bits being left in patients teeth, retreatments, extractions & implants being done with all molars, entire side of someones mouth, etc.
They want you broke, broken down & in pain.
It makes them money.
The ADA (American Dental Association) forced Netflix & Amazon Prime to remove the âRoot Causeâ documentary.
God forbid someone tells the truth & fucks up their racket.
CAPITALISM FEEDS ITSELF ON FUCKING DEATH!
I feel sick over how fucking evil this capitalist society is.
How many millions have been harmed, injured, killed, paralyzed, incapacitated, destroyed, ruined.
All for money.
So fucking cold.
TodaysRDH.com:
Neuralgia Induced Cavitational Osteonecrosis (NICO) & & Fatty Degenerative Osteonecrosis of the Jawbone (FDOJ) are the cavitations at the apex of root canaled teeth and areas of jaw of previously root canaled teeth that were then extracted.
NICO/FDOJ are hollow dead spaces in jawbones where the bone marrow is dying or dead.
The cause of NICO/FDOJ is avascular osteonecrosis.
NICO/FDOJ is largely neglected in mainstream dentistry because it cant be detected by conventional 2D imagery.
Per a study, patients with NICO/FDOJ lesions â caused by root canaled teeth and by extracted teeth after root canals â had the following symptoms:
â˘Facial pain
â˘Trigeminal neuralgia
â˘joint aches
â˘rheumatoid arthritis
â˘chronic fatigue syndrome
â˘breast cancer
â˘thyroidism
â˘autoimmune diseases
â˘multiple sclerosis
â˘Parkinsons disease
â˘asthma
â˘leukemia
â˘allergy
â˘ALS
The study also concluded that NICO/FDOJ lesion sites contribute to a permanent increase in RANTES/fibroblast growth factor-2 â RANTES is a chemokine that helps coordinate the bodys immune response & defects in RANTES leads to compromised immunity & more severe infections & acute diseases â fibroblast growth factor-2 stimulated the growth & development of new blood vessels that contribute to cancer, arthersclerosis & other potentially fatal diseases.
A permanent increase in RANTES:FGF-2 expression in NICO/FDOJ lesion sites can exert negative impacts on joint inflammation, central nervous system inflammation & breast tissue.
Chemokine overexpression in the jawbone connected to root canaled teeth appears to be a danger for immune system preservation which is critical to maintaining a balanced immune system & preventing multiple systemic and often fatal diseases. Improper wound healing in previous extraction sites & underneath root canaled teeth provoked immune system modulation which prevents the bodys natural immune system from properly responding to serious & often fatal diseases.
I am completely unnerved by how fucking soulless & evil this capitalist society is.
I feel like vomiting.
Reddit:
âI was told the root canal would be painless due to novacaine.
But it wasnt!
The dentist cotinuously had to stop to give me another novacaine shot.
The dentist even had to shoot the anesthetic directly into the nerve.
I was in pain before I even walked out of the dentist office. Significant pain.
I was told, âTake advilâ.â
Sociopaths. Hurting people. For fucking money. And lying about it.
Dentistry does what the NFL does with head impacts.
Its âquack dentistry that was discredited 100 years agoâ if you point out the truth about NICO lesions.
Reddit:
âI was in significant pain even a month after the root canal so I finally went back into my dentist.
I was given amoxicillin for 10 days.
Pain was still severe so I was told it was most likely caused by a crack and getting a crown would help.
Crown appointment was a nightmare!!!
I felt pain throughout the ENTIRE procedure and kept having to make the dentist stop to give me another shot of novacaine.
It was so much worse than the root canal.
I went home & sobbed myself to sleep.
The pain was absolutely excruciating.
I was again given antibiotics and told to give the pain 10 days.
Once again, the amoxicillin did nothing.
Permanent crown didnt help.
I am in pain every day.
Xrays were normal.
Dentist told me to go to a specialist or he can extract the tooth for me.
I have Medicaid and dont have money for either.
Its been a year of torturous hell.
I cant chew food on my left side which has caused endless issues on my right side.
I am terrified, afraid, scared, anxious, numb, deflated & defeated.
I could chew on the tooth before the root canal â I cant chew anything after.
I am in endless pain.â
All this needless torture being caused JUST for money.
Dentist on reddit:
âEvery filling ever will need to be replaced.
Every root canal ever will eventually fail.
Thats just dentistry.â
Nauseous.
Theyre so nonchalant in their soulless sociopathy.
Soulless sociopaths:
â˘Dentistry industrial complex
â˘Oncological/cancer industrial complex
â˘OTC medication industrial complex
â˘Pharmaceutical industrial complex
â˘Psychiatric industrial complex
â˘Rheumatological industrial complex
â˘Hematological industrial complex
â˘Neurological industrial complex
â˘Gynecological industrial complex
â˘Snack industrial complex
â˘Soda industrial complex
â˘Fast food industrial complex
â˘Chain restaurant industrial complex
â˘Alcohol industrial complex
â˘Frozen food industrial complex
Soulless evil capitalist sociopathic fucks.
Reddit:
âI am living in terror.
I was told the root canal would be a permanent fix.
Now, I need a retreatment â a second root canal.
The first time was so bad â to need a second one is a thousand times worse.
I am absolutely devastated.â
Reddit:
âI need multiple root canal retreatments.
Im besides myself.
I was told the root canal was a done deal!
I am breaking down every single day in tears.â
Soulless sociopathic fucks.
Reddit:
âI am living in root canal retreatment absolute terror.
I barely made it through my first root canal.
I was weeping afterwards in the sitting room.
I barely lasted the two hour procedure & completely broke down the moment it was over.
I actually had to beg the dentist to stop during the root canal so I could compose myself while I had a panic attack.
My anxiety leading up to the retreatment is absolutely crippling.
I dont know how or if I will make it through a second root canal.â
Pure evil.
Reddit:
âI couldnt breathe through my nose.
I couldnt swallow with the dental dam on.
I had a panic attack and sobbed.
The dentist wouldnt give me a break.
It was a living actual literal nightmare.
For two hours, I suffered.
I wanted to interrupt the dentist or beg him to stop.
But I was too hesitant to.
So, I sat & suffered in absolute terror & dread for two hours.â
Soulless.
How can you do this to human beings?
Knowing theres another option.
Knowing theres holistic, biologic, biomimetic dentistry that is naturopathic not allopathic.
Knowing there are alternative treatments like oxidization & better imaging like 3D cone rays.
How can dentists be so endlessly cruel?
ADAâs own blog refers to the problem as âcreative diagnosesâ.
Dentists make no money from cleanings so they FIND problems where they dont exist.
Its also called, Fill bill & drill.
My dentist tried to do this to me yesterday & very casually said I needed a âroot canal & crownâ.
I am 43 â aside from a few cavities that were filled & impacted wisdom teeth removed at 19 â I have never had any other work done.
My dentist dismissed my concerns, briefly pointed towards my Xray, said that a previous cavity I had filled was approaching the nerve.
Root canal & crown end of story.
No, I dont think so â I have already stopped taking prescription medication for arthritis and instead use CBD cream, heat pads, yoga, walking.
I self regulate my emotions through shadow work, somatic work, subconscious work, breathwork, energy work, reiki, movement, journalling, art, being in nature, etc.
I dont take any OTC medications but sometimes have debilitating pressure headaches that cause sensitivity to light & noise & sinus pain. I turn off all lights, I always have a completely silent environment during the day all week inside my apartment, I get off my phone & Macbook, I go for a walk, spend time in nature, do yoga, make herbal tea, drink water.
If I feel like I have a cold, I take organic cough drops, eat hot broth, rest, walk outside, herbal tea, lots of water. I dont take any OTC medication.
When my period cramps & lower back hurt, I drink tea & water & use heat packs. I dont take OTC medication.
I questioned why my teeth would be any different and was pleasantly surprised to see that holistic dentists exist that shared my disgust over root canals and the state of dentistry and the rest of the western medical industrial complex.
I found an Usui reiki master, holistic dentist with her PhD from Rutgers who is also a tarot card reader that focused on minimizing sugar intake & dietary changes - diet & lifestyle, brushing flossing mouth guards if grinding is an issue pulling oil - maintaining dental health as well as regular check ups - preventative proactiveness.
She also utilizes 3D cone xrays, not limited 2D & does alternative treatments like oxidization and her stated goal on her website is for patients to realize they have the power to heal themselves and she only assists when absolutely medically necessary and takes a minimal approach to any kind of interventions.
The opposite of âmodern dentistryâ and the modern medical industrial complex that feeds itself off of pain, misery, lies & death.
Reddit:
âThe reason I have to go back for a second root canal is there was a broken instrument left inside the tooth during the first root canal.
I am depressed & filled with terror.â
They make money torturing people & lying to them & accusing anyone who exposes them of âfake scienceâ & âquack dentistryâ.
Dental drills;
â˘800k rpm = 13k HZ
â˘Limit of human hearing is 20k HZ.
Theres NOTHING normal about dental drilling aka TORTURE.
Theres a reason even just the SOUND of a drill sets you on edge & frays your nerves.
Its DESIGNED to do that or it wouldnt be approaching the fucking limits of literal human hearing.
Its supposed to be torturous & unnerving & it absolutely is.
Novacaine does NOTHING to ânumbâ the sound of the drillingâŚ
You are brainwashed as an American in our capitalist hellhole to accept this torture unquestioningly from childhood because dentists are authoritative figures & questioning them equates to questioning âscienceâ which is never allowed as they get away with hurting people for money by weaponizing empiricism and accusing anyone who exposes them of âquack scienceâ.
Crowns are also fucking awful.
I was told blithely & fucking dismissively yesterday that I âhadâ to get a root canal & a crown.
Mind you, I was in absolutely zero pain before the appointment.
After an extremely aggressive cleaning with painful scraping, my teeth were sensitive as fuck.
All the receptionists fearmongered the hell out of me.
Its $1700 for the fucking root canal & crown so its like fuck no, you cant âgo ahead & make the appointmentâ.
All four receptionists then told me I may not be in pain now but now that I know I need a root canal, my mind will start to play tricks on me, not to wait until the pain kicks in because it will be unbearable & I will wish I had listened & made the appointment.
No, fuck off. I know what youâre doing. Trying to scare me & rush me into scheduling this.
And no, fuck right off with it. I am going to research this then make a decision.
Despite your best attempts to terrify me into âbooking now!â.
Fucking used car salesmen.
Reddit:
âI had a crown done two weeks ago from a large old filling.
I had no pain prior to the crown & Xrays showed zero infection.
Two weeks of wearing temp crowns were pure agonizing hell on earth.
I ate pain meds like candy. Couldnt chew on my right side at all.
I just had my crown seated & it was absolutely agonizing.
I had to beg to be numbed just so the dentist could finish the procedure.
I bled a lot with the local anesthesia.â
They keep your jaw wide open for 2 full hours during root canal, no breaks.
Redditors are saying their jaws locked, endlessly spasmed.
Then the dentist acts like youre crazy if you ask for a break.
Thats the gag.
God man this is so fucking dark.
Completely fucking inhumane.
Root canals also cause serious & often irrevocable harm to periodontal ligaments.
I was warned of exactly NONE of this yesterday because they just wanted my fucking money.
Worst story on Reddit:
This woman on reddit had NO pain or discomfort. She was told she needed 4 root canals. Second root canal, she couldnt chew or close her mouth for five days AND HAD TO SLEEP WITH A SOCK IN HER MOUTH so as to not bite down in her sleep or cause pressure.
Weeks later, she was still unable to chew or close her mouth all the way after root canal & crown placement. She wore a splint for two weeks, absolutely zero relief. She is unable to bite down or close her mouth all the way without debilitating agonizing pain.
For two months! She has been unable to chew food on the left side or close her mouth all the way.
Dentist ordered Xrays & there are zero signs of infection â she is STILL being told to do yet ANOTHER root canal!
When do we question authority as brainwashed capitalist lemmings indoctrinated in the K through 12 conditioning centers?
When is enough enough?
They are torturers!
Above Redditor in comment to her own post:
âHow do I not offend my dentist? I dont want to seem like I am telling someone how to do their job & suggest I dont need the root canal redone but I dont have another $1200 to pay out of pocket.
I hate to be difficult & I rarely complain but this has sincerely been the most trying ordeal of my life.
The anxious child inside of me feels like I am being s bother and I am literally one of thousands of pateintd my dentist has and I am afraid to speak up.â
A lifetime of subliminal brainwashing, conditioning, indoctrination, unquestioning obedience to authority.
Root canals can also lead to infections that eat the bone away. Necessitating oral surgery and a bone graft for missing bone.
Bone infection from root canal can lead to osteomyelitis which is an infection that can spread to your brain and be fatal.
Yet all my dentist told me yesterday is: Going to drill â yes or no, has decay reached nerve â If so, then have to do a root canal, place crown â Will book it for root canal just in case.
Motherfuck you.
Bone infections are actually quite common after a root canal. Bacteria moves in from the apex (end of the root) left behind after a root canal and that bacteria then grows and eats away at the bone.
This world is insane.
Somehow, all of this is ânormalâ and people make âjokesâ about scheduling root canals on vacation & root canals being a picnic & walk in the park.
Youre being lied to & tortured â what the fuck is âfunnyâ?
After root canals, many people report excruciating sinus pain & infections, migraines, constant headaches, jaw pain, facial swelling & pain after root canals.
Whats an alternative?
Holistic, biologic, biomemetic, naturopathic dentistry.
Get into it babes.
As I already stated â 3D conal Xray vs limited 2D Xray that traditional allodentists use â full picture of tooth, nerve, decay, gums, etc.
Holistic integrative evaluation of you as a person NOT just your teeth â many diseases can mimic or mirror symptoms for periodontal issues so a thorough thinking approach is required.
Diet suggestions to minimize sugar intake in beverages, soda, juice, candy, sweet treats, baked goods, dessert. Lifestyle changes to emphasize exercise, daily movement & overall health â NOT just your teeth.
Maintenance suggestions to ensure daily brushing, flossing, pulling oil, mouthwash, mouthguards for teeth grinding are consistently being done.
Preventative measures scheduling patients for regular checkups to take a proactive approach to monitoring their teeth & overall health.
Bit different then scrape, floss, fluoride, Xrays, bill for something â crowns, fillings, root canals, veneers, deep cleaning, something anything.
Dentists cause all this suffering on purpose just for moneyâŚ
You think the ADA doesnt have the info that Ive pulled up just from yesterday?
Why did they force Netflix to pull the documentary?
Fucking please.
It would have fucked up their business model.
What does a dentist have to say about the NICO lesions I mentioned earlier?
Something something quack dentistry pseudoscience.
Whatever you have to say to keep torturing people.
What a dystopian hell hole this place â reality â âexistenceâ â modern society is.
Dentistry is Inhuman. Inhumane. Insane. Sickening.
Why didnt our ancestors get tortured endlessly by dentists???????
Google:
âSudanese people 2k years ago prevented cavities by eating purple nutsedge plant.â
High sugar modern diets is what necessitates brushing & flossing â our ancestors did NOT do that.
As always, in capitalism, profits over people
Google:
âFewer than 1% of Sudanese teeth from 2k years ago studied by anthropologists had any signs of tooth decay.
Egyptians developed first toothbrush in 3000 BCE which was a frayed twig.
Early humans are low carb paleo diets and anthropological studies reveal almost no plaque or tooth decay from only utilizing plants and twigs.
What changed?
Our modern diets are overly processed, high in sugar which creates acid in the mouth and erodes teeth, low nutritional value, acidic carbonated drinks like soda which demineralizes teeth & erodes enamel as does candy and other sweets, baked goods and desserts contain sugars and starches that create acids that attack the enamel of your teeth.
Ancient humans ate mostly fibrous, low carb, high nutrient, paleo diets â beneficial for teeth & digestion.
Fiber contains properties that naturally fight bacteria & prevent plaque from forming on teeth.
High nutrients & minerals kept their teeth & gums strong & helped immune system fight off infections.â
Dont get a fucking root canal!
Stop going to traditional dentists!
Go to a holistic, biologic & biomemetic naturopathic dentist!
Save yourself from the above misery, pain & totally & completely unnecessary torture!
Look it up yourself.
And stop blindly believingâŚanyone.
Much less âmedical professionalsâ financially incentivized to fucking HURT YOU for PROFIT.
Wake the fuck up.

i am incapable of judging how comfortable other ppl are with reading about medical issues, sorry if this readmore doesnât work, this is a needlessly detailed post bc this blog is partly my diary lmao
recap: in October 2022 i had a big fuckin abscess in my upper jaw above one of my rear molars (tooth X), which was incredibly painful and led to the coincidental discovery that my rearmost molar (tooth Y) had to be extracted. tooth X had previously had a crown placed on it, so draining the infection required drilling through that crown, performing a root canal, and then placing a filling over the drill hole. tooth Y was extracted and, over the course of almost a year, replaced with an implant
and then, late in December 2023, i started developing some slowly-building dental pain, seemingly localized to tooth X. last week i finally got around to seeing my regular dentist, who took X-rays and essentially went ââŚI gotta send you back to the guy who did that root canal, he has a fancier X-ray machine and will be able to see moreâ
and as it happened he was able to fit me in after only a couple of business days, so this past Tuesday, i went and saw him and he did a 3D X-ray. (ok. side note. this was actually done by an extremely kind, skilled, very pretty technician. which i tell you because âa nice lady tells me what to doâ was a pleasant note in this whole lightly-nightmarish sequence of events.) anyway this was extremely cool to look at with him, because explaining what it showed required a bit of a basic course in looking at X-rays, and it was very interesting
unfortunately what the X-rays showed was that there was a dark patch of infection above the root area of tooth X. as he showed me, and explained: after the root canal (which was beautifully done), only the vertically-running nerves had been cleaned out. this probably left a small amount of material in horizontally-running tunnels which would have been impossible to see at the time. that material slowly died over time, leading to the infection. cleaning it out in a way that attempted to save the tooth would be fiddly, complicated work with a low chance of long-term success. yanking it out, on the other handâŚ
so he referred me back to the oral surgeon who had done my previous extraction â and as i drove home from the endodontist, my mom performed a minor miracle and managed to get me an appointment that afternoon with the surgeon. turnaround is never that fast. it ruled
the surgeon basically had a quick look and went âyup, thatâll have to come out, when do you wanna do itâ. as it happens, i am away from work until next Tuesday, so i mentioned that to the scheduler, who said essentially âhowâs Thursday [today] work?â and i said âYESâ
fast forward to today, everything went much as it had for my first extraction⌠until i woke up and fuzzily noticed that they were still removing tools from my mouth
what had happened was this: they got in there and extracted tooth X, but noticed that the implant which had replaced tooth Y was attached less strongly than it had been (it was fine at my last post-implant checkup). the theory was that the infection at the root of tooth X had started to weaken the whole area. so, since i was still sedated, they called in my mother (medical power of attorney, for exactly this sort of situation), told her what was going on, and asked her opinion. she agreed with them â as did i once i was conscious enough to understand what had occurred â that it was best to take out the implant as well, let the whole area heal, and place both new implants at the same time
this has all happened over the course of a week from when i decided to drag myself in to go see the dentist đ

Boost Your Dental Practice's Online Presence with Expert SEO Services
Introduction: In today's digital age, having a strong online presence is crucial for any dental practice looking to attract new patients and grow its clientele. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) plays a pivotal role in ensuring that your dental services are visible to potential patients when they search for relevant keywords on search engines like Google. In this blog post, we will explore the importance of SEO for dentists and how professional SEO services can help your dental practice thrive in the competitive online landscape.
Understanding the Importance of SEO for Dentists: In a world where almost everyone turns to search engines to find local services, having a well-optimized website is non-negotiable for dentists. SEO allows your dental practice to rank higher in search engine results, ensuring that your services are seen by those actively seeking oral health care in your area. By appearing on the first page of search results, you significantly increase the likelihood of attracting potential patients to your website.
Targeting Local Patients: Local SEO is especially crucial for dentists as most of their clientele comes from nearby communities. When someone searches for a "dentist near me" or "best dentist in [your city]," you want your practice to be one of the top results. Professional SEO services can help your dental practice optimize its online presence to reach the local audience effectively.
Keyword Research for Dental Services: Identifying the right keywords is a foundational aspect of SEO. SEO experts can conduct thorough keyword research to determine the most relevant and high-traffic keywords for your dental services. For instance, keywords like "teeth whitening," "dental implants," or "orthodontic services" could be valuable targets.
On-Page SEO for Dental Websites: Optimizing your website's on-page elements is essential for better search engine rankings. This involves improving meta tags, headings, content optimization, and ensuring that your website is user-friendly across all devices. Professional SEO services can fine-tune your website to perform optimally in search engines.
Local Business Listings and Citations: Creating and maintaining consistent business listings across various online directories, such as Google My Business, Yelp, and Bing Places, is crucial for local SEO. SEO experts can manage these listings and ensure that your dental practice's contact information and location are accurate and up-to-date.
Content Marketing Strategies: SEO goes hand-in-hand with content marketing. Informative and engaging content not only attracts potential patients but also helps build your dental practice's authority in the field. SEO services can help create content that resonates with your audience and ranks well on search engines.
Backlink Building: Earning quality backlinks from reputable dental-related websites can significantly boost your practice's credibility and search engine rankings. SEO professionals have the expertise to secure relevant backlinks through ethical and white-hat practices.
Conclusion: Investing in professional SEO services for your dental practice can make a substantial difference in your online visibility, patient acquisition, and practice growth. By targeting local patients and optimizing your website effectively, you can position your dental practice as a top choice among potential patients in your area. Embrace the power of SEO to drive more traffic to your website, generate more leads, and elevate your dental practice to new heights in the digital world.

This post is one I have highly relevant experience to so.
OP IS RIGHT. IT IS NEVER FUCKING TOO LATE. I don't care how far gone you are, taking better care of yourself will ALWAYS have benefits. It will always help.
My dental health is in shambles, okay.
I'm 31 years old and I have partial dentures- they snap in like a retainer to replace the two lower molars I've lost and give me more surface to yknow. EAT with. and lessen the stress on my remaining natural teeth.
I WILL lose all my teeth eventually. This much is inevitable, and I will be dealing with that much, MUCH earlier in life than most other people who would.
DESPITE THIS, IMPROVING MY SELF CARE AND BRUSHING BETTER IS STILL NOT TOO-LITTLE-TOO-LATE.
Even with my situation, better brushing means my gums and mouth are healthier. It means that I am extending the life of my remaining natural teeth, and saving a LOT of money because I'm not having to worry about a ton of extractions etc all at once. Hell if I'm lucky, maybe I will be able to in that time save up for some implants, which will help preserve the integrity and shape of my jaw as a whole.
A big part of me even getting to this point at all is because for the first time in my life, at age like....25-26, I started seeing a dentist who did something other than just shame me and lecture me on better brushing and tell me I was childish and lazy for not doing it.
There is a tooth still in my head now, saved by this dentist, that my previous provider wanted to pull.
My current dentist doesn't sugarcoat my situation. She wants me to recognize the reality of where I am and what I'm going to face as time goes on. But she does it coming from a place of 'the reason you got here isn't because you're lazy and i can tell that just from talking to you for ten minutes.'
She knows I struggle with my self care to a torturous extent and she knows that mental and physical health, as well as financial constraints, have been a bigger obstacle for me than laziness or childishness ever have.
Her approaching me as an adult experiencing early dental crisis as a resulting symptom of trauma, chronic illness, disability and financial stress rather than 'ugh gross so lazy grow UP' has made it easier for me to seek her help when i Need it, and to put in the effort to take better care of myself in general.
There will be points of no return with some things when it comes to this. But starting to brush better is never a Too Late thing. I can't save my teeth in the long run, but I can take better care of them so that they will last as long as possible, and so that any major care I need for them will be spaced out- and therefore much more affordable.
There's so much stigma and shame put around dental self neglect specifically, and also in having bad teeth. And that makes overcoming the self neglect harder, not easier. Shame isn't the right motivator when it comes to self care or self love. It never has been and never will be.
Fight back against that.
You are not lazy, or childish. You are struggling in this area for a reason. You deserve to be taken seriously and treated kindly. By the people around you, by health professionals, but most importantly by yourself.
it's never too late to start brushing your teeth again. i basically never brushed my teeth for a whole 10 years. a decade. A DECADE. i still struggle to brush my teeth once a week, but it all started with brushing my teeth once every few months. so i mean it when i say brushing your teeth once a week, a month, a year, or even a decade, is better than nothing.
and still, nothing is not shameful. it is not immoral to struggle with self care. and it is also not pointless to keep trying. anything you can do, even if its wiping plaque off with a towel, is enough. it is good to take care of yourself however you can, even if it's just trying to muster the will to. reading this post is good, too.
i believe in you and i am proud of you, even in the smallest of steps. it's okay. you can give yourself grace.

When to push ahead
I recently came back from a course in Sydney. It was a cadaver course; something I had never done before. And in general this course felt different to any other that I had gone to. I saw some familiar faces and met new ones.
I already knew some things from the course, but I definitely learnt a whole lot as well.
I felt somewhat at home, but also a little uncomfortable.
I usually go to a course with my close work colleagues and mentors, but this time I was alone. I had friends, but it just didn't feel the same. It felt like if I was to take away anything from this course and bring it back to the clinic, I would be first one to implement these techniques. There will be noone to hold my hand. I will be the first to push into this new area. It's just a dental implant, but its going somewhere unfamiliar and the stakes are a little higher. I'm scared, but I'm excited about the possibilities this could bring.

Hello, prior anatomy assistant here. The article is horrifically disrespectful, describing the process as "unpleasant" and focusing solely on fat bodies. Those doctors should be removed from lab practice and not be fielding anatomical study if it grosses them out for any reason. Can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Those doctors blame the dead persons/patients for their personal struggle with gross anatomy and they are wrong to do so. It makes me furious that medicine is generally ableist, sexist, racist, and fatphobic among other phobias- many things to improve... Please advocate for yourself as well as seeking care from those Drs who respect YOU and your life and time.
Any of this information below is not in disregard of medical issues with fatphobia etc. I just have experience in a setting similar to the article which I hope helps.
I was working just two months ago at a medical school with cadaveric donor anatomy courses, taking care of the donors as well as making sure students/faculty have their needs/safety met. I became sensitive to the chemicals and have since gone on to work instead at a crematorium, but I did this for three years with faculty/students from Doctoral Osteopathy, Physician Assistance, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental, and Dual Enrollment (highschoolers learning from donors dissected by the med students). As the anatomy assistant it was part of my and faculty's job to make the point to students verbally and by action/behavior of treating all decedents as their first patient. We ask them to behave as if they were the doctor for their grandparents, to think what they would not want a doctor to do or say about their "grandmamapapa" to their face about their body and further to not discuss patients/donors beyond lab facilities for privacy and basic decency. Then we instruct them in dissecting donors with that respect in mind, that's grandmamapapa's final request after all.
I received donors of various heights, weights, ethnic background, and was often very impressed by the students and faculty alike as they found most all aspects of the course interesting/fulfilling as they showcased the variety of human anatomy. Frightened awe at enlarged organs, sadness at tumors clots and shriveled lungs, soft fascination with hip/knee implants valves and pacemakers.
Students study all aspects of anatomy including superficial structure throughout and within the fatty dermal layer, however most adipose (fat) tissue is removed to unveil the greater number of structures beneath/within. I am unsure how adipose tissue is covered in their courses beyond lab, it is a wonderfully unique cell type I would often point out as forming paquetes versus striated muscle tissue beneath to the new students seeing it the first time in such a way. All removed tissues were placed into identifying bags and stored until being replaced into the body bag of their identified donor once the donor retires to cremation so that as much of them that came into the program is then returned to loved ones receiving cremains.
Usually the largest removal of adipose tissue occurs during the first-second week of lab, not because it takes this much time but because students are having safety orientation day one, understanding the lab environment and being around a dead body for 2-4 hours at a time inspecting external structures day 2-3, and thats week one. Week two begins dissection with respect for the dead in mind and is often skinning and cleaning fat from the back muscles. This when removal of fats takes the most time due to many important questions: how to do perform dissection (loading scalpel, cutting depth, skinning angles/direction), what is this versus that, why is this a certain color etc as well as being the largest surface area. Legs and arms are skinned in stages, also while donors are prone, at the back, and continued once the donor is supine, front facing. Until complete removal the skin remains as flaps simply folded away from underlying structures. The next largest immediate removal of adipose is from the chest/pectoral region, further on in coursework and so most students have acclimated well and complete it quite quickly, an hour or less to get to the rest. Fat of the belly is left attatched for the duration of dissection as skin flaps to open/close protecting the organs from dessication/mold in much the same way as the metal donor table lids function. All exposed/skinned regions of the body are wet down with dilute embalming solution repeatedly during study/class hours and then kept under a similarly wetted sheet while not in use to practice privacy and prevent drying/decomp/mold. Faces and secondary sex characteristics are covered with separate barriers beneath the sheet also for privacy of donors (as well as for many persons faculty/student alike having mental struggles with faces).
Weight limits for the ADP (at least the one I was part of) are set 250lb before embalming (fluid weight brings some donors in at around 400lbs). The 250lb limit is set for embalming purposes. Since fats are hydrophobic they prevent absorption of embalming chemical, while muscles are hydrophilic in comparison. A higher ratio of fat:muscle can lead to more rapid decomposition due to poor embalming which then potentially leads to the donor becoming unviable for study or dissection. Despite curing for a month prior to dissection, further embalming procedures (such as on the glutes and skull cavity/brain) and decomp being "fought" continuously while in the care of the lab, preventing decomp is best done at the first embalming on pre-registered donors - ones received immediately at death into the program and not left waiting while decomposing as an unregistered or at-need donor may experience - onset of decomposition follows immediately after death. I maintained each donor fighting decomposition, mold, and drying for an average of two years of care/cost per individual donor.
Metal donor tables and tarp-adjacent body bags (where the donors lay and stay during dissection) are approx. 7ftĂ3ft. The tables have an inset/inlay of about 2.5 inches deep and 6.5ft x 2.75ft. There are hinged lids that when closed are pentagonal - the upright sides about 5 inches and the point where the lids meet in the middle about 7 inches from the table top, giving around 8 inches at the sides for arms mainly and 10 inches for high points like head/chest/feet. 3D objects such as human bodies must close into the bag (flat, but flexes around well due to material) and the table's lids to prevent environmental factors like spores (mold) or dessication (drying, mummification). There are other table types, such as downdraft, but I do not have experience working with them or their measurements.
Being fat is not a problem with body donation or medical study, some people are just not respectful, kind, or decent.
The reason fat cadavers are not accepted for medical programmes is that you need to cut through every layer of fat carefully. Which takes time, and lab sessions are inherentely limited in that. It's better for med students to spend that time looking at what organs actually look like in bodies. This isn't fatphobia, it's just .. the way dissecting bodies works? In the same way surgeries on fat people take longer because there's just physically more tissue. The alternative would be to force the med students who get fatter cadavers to do more lab sessions at weird times outside of the usual schedules. Or force them to stay over the holidays. Or not let them get enough time to do the lab work they need to. Which imo would be a bit fucked up especially when med school is already so difficult and time-consuming.
Itâs fatphobia. Fat bodies absolutely need to be studied. To ignore an entire demographic of oppressed individuals in the medical field for the sake of convenience(?!) is violence. Did you even read the article? They called working on fat cadavers âunpleasant.â Itâs fatphobia and itâs unacceptable.

Digital Marketing for Dentists or Dental Clinic in Dubai
In a very competitive market like Dubai, the role of online marketing becomes a significant factor for the growth of dental clinics and for attracting new patients. Whether it is about a solo practitioner or managing a large clinic, having an improved online presence is a vital part of going ahead of competition. In the following step-by-step guide, we are going to discuss some of the best digital marketing for dentists and dental clinics in Dubai, including increased visibility and patient engagement as well as business growth.
Why Digital Marketing Matters for Dentists in Dubai?
Evidently, Dubai healthcare has been at a proven growth rate. With that growth comes competition. Word-of-mouth, not to mention old school marketing tactics, just don't cut it anymore. Dental marketing has a productive and efficient avenue towards attaining potential patients, creating your brand, and keeping the current clients. A great digital marketing tactic ensures clinics can:
Reach more people
Establish credibility and trust
Gain new clients
Engage and retain the patients
Promote your website
Some of the Must-do Digital Marketing Strategies for Dental Clinics in Dubai
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
It pushes up your website rankings on search engines such as Google. Using keywords that may come in handy to local users, like "best dentist in Dubai" or "dental clinic in Dubai," will heighten the chances that your clinic will show in their results.
Optimize your website for mobile.Â
Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC)
Continuously advertise on search engines. Such ads are not related to organic placement and are paid per click-through. Google AdWords is probably the most popular form of service, accessed via "Google Advertising".
You also have PPC campaigns like Google Ads wherein you can display targeted ads to the viewers who are looking for certain dental services. PPC ensures instant visibility and can also be fine-tuned based on location, demographics, and keywords for attracting the right patient.
Social Media Marketing
Utilize social media: Engage the patient base on the powerful platform of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. They will connect well to patient before and after treatment photos as well as patient reviews and oral health tips. Run a paid social campaign targeting individuals in your local area for brand awareness.
Content Marketing
Show your clinic as an educational site through content. You could add a blog on some of the topics under "how to maintain oral hygiene" or "dental implant procedures explained." This will allow organic traffic, which helps in establishing the kind of trust in the patients. Make sure there are targeted keywords and local SEO for the content.
ORM
Most patients, today, run some online reviews before choosing a specific dental clinic. Happy patients should be reminded to post a good review on Google My Business and other review media. Reaction to both positive and negative comments by the audience should be managed professionally, and this is of major importance in keeping a good reputation.
Email Marketing
A proper email marketing can help cultivate patient relationships. Patients can receive regular newsletters with updates about new services, promotions, or dental health tips. Personalized emails may also remind patients to return and get check-ups or appointments.
Optimize GMB
Make sure your GMB profile is optimized so that there are chances that your clinic may appear on local searches and Google Maps. That way, the potential patients will find it easy to locate you. Add your details, operating hours, and clinic photographs. Ensure people can believe in your listing.
Website Optimization
The first impression to a potential patient regarding your clinic will usually be made on the web. A very user-friendly and well-designed website that is also mobile-friendly can make all the difference. It needs to load quickly and have clear CTAs, for example, "Book an Appointment" or "Contact Us."
Most Common Mistakes in Dental Digital Marketing
Failure to Consider Mobile Users
The internet traffic is more than 50 percent through a mobile device. If your website is not mobile-friendly, then you risk losing them once they lose interest and will never return again
Not Paying Much Attention To Reviews
Keeping quiet about your online reputation will harm the credibility of the clinics. Monitor and respond actively to these reviews.
Failing to Track Results
You may only ascertain what of your digital marketing strategies works for your practice when you track properly. Most tools like Google Analytics keep providing you with information on website traffic, conversion rates, and more KPIs.
Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Digital Marketing for Dentists in Dubai
Q1: How long does it take to see the effects of my SEO strategy for my dental clinic?
Now, SEO is a long-game. It will take up to 3-6 months before it pays off. But this again depends on the competition and how good your SEO work is.
Q2: Do I need social media marketing for my dental clinic?
Indeed, social media marketing helps you reach out to patients and brand awareness. You can directly interact with your target audience through social media sites such as Instagram and Facebook, where you can clearly showcase your services to them.
Q3: How much would PPC ads cost me for my dental clinic in Dubai?
PPC costs vary based on niche audience, competition, and even locality. However you have complete control over your budget because of day cap settings as well as performance-based optimizations.
Q4: Why local SEO for my clinic?
Local SEO ensures that your clinic appears on top in the searches when people search for dental services in your locality. Footfalls are very essential for your clinic.
Q5: How to increase online reviews of the clinic?
Ask your satisfied patients to review your clinic on Google My Business or any other similar platform. Alternatively, every time the patient leaves after an appointment, follow up by email and request his opinion.
Conclusion
Digital marketing is an excellent tool for dentists and dental clinics in Dubai. More patients attract a higher level of involvement and enhance the brand of your clinic if a full strategy involving SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and reputation management is put in place. However, long-term growth and visibility are assured as you navigate this competitive healthcare market, though it will take time to deliver those results.

Comprehensive Guide to Oral Health Hygiene
Comprehensive Guide to Oral Health Hygiene
Maintaining good dental hygiene is essential to both having a beautiful smile and keeping your mouth healthy. Poor oral hygiene can lead to systemic diseases like diabetes and heart disease as well as dental issues like cavities and gum disease. To ensure the best possible oral hygiene, follow these simple steps by Dr. Trisha Deb Morgan Hill.
Guidelines for the Best Dental Hygiene
1. Brushing Methods:
Make time to clean your teeth twice a day, for two minutes each time.
Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste.
Use circular motions when brushing, and focus especially on the back teeth and gum line.
Change the bristles on your toothbrush every three to four months, or earlier if they begin to deteriorate.
2. Brushing:
Plaque and food fragments are removed from in between your teeth when you floss everyday.
To avoid damaging your gums, utilise interdental brushes or water flossers in difficult-to-reach areas.
3. Using Mouthwash:
Make sure to incorporate a fluoride or antimicrobial mouthwash into your daily regimen to help strengthen teeth and reduce plaque.
Preventive Actions
Take into consideration these extra precautions to help safeguard your oral health:
1. Nutritious Food Practices:
Consume fewer foods high in sugar and acidity as these can exacerbate tooth decay.
Maintain a nutritious, well-balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and calcium-rich foods.
2. Frequent visits to the dentist:
Make an appointment for professional cleanings and examinations at least twice a year with your dentist. Early detection of irregularities in the teeth can help avoid more serious issues later on.
3. Handling Fear of Dentures:
If you experience anxiety before dental appointments, let your dentist know. Many clinics offer options to reduce discomfort during treatment.
The Relationship Between Dental and General Health
Research indicates a robust association between oral health and overall well-being. For instance, germs that cause gum disease have the capacity to enter the bloodstream and lead to systemic illnesses such as heart disease. Therefore, maintaining good oral hygiene is crucial for both preventing dental issues and safeguarding your general health.
What benefits does practising proper dental hygiene offer?
While your dentist can repair teeth damaged by decay or gum disease, it is always preferable to prevent problems before they start. Now is the ideal moment to maintain good dental hygiene. Keeping your teeth clean provides a number of benefits, including:
Better gums and teeth.
A lovely grin.
Breath that is fresher.
Less need for dental procedures including crowns, bridges, implants, fillings, or dentures.
Reduced chance of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and other illnesses.
A decreased chance of mouth cancer.
Furthermore, the cost of preventive dental care is lower than that of emergency or restorative dental care. Consequently, over time, practising proper oral care can help you avoid wasting money, worry, or time. We are here to provide Cosmetic Dentist in Morgan Hill.
Avenue Dentistry in Morgan Hill
At Avenue Dentistry in Morgan Hill, USA, we prioritise your oral health by offering customised care that is tailored to meet your unique needs. In addition to providing comprehensive dental care, including cleanings, exams, and modern treatments, our qualified staff is dedicated to educating patients about proper oral hygiene practices.
We understand that dental anxiety can be a barrier to seeking care, therefore we aim to establish a pleasant environment where you may feel at peace. Our goal is to provide you with dental health knowledge so you can maintain your excellent appearance for many years to come.
Should I schedule a visit with my doctor?
If it has been more than six months since your last cleaning, schedule an appointment with your dentist right away. They can examine your teeth and gums and make recommendations based on your particular requirements.
If you experience any warning signs, such bleeding gums, loose teeth, discomfort in your teeth, or persistent bad breath, schedule a dental consultation. To eradicate harmful microbes, therapy is required. By attending to your dental health concerns, you will also enhance your overall well-being.
Conclusion
Maintaining proper dental hygiene is essential to overall health maintenance. Following the advice of your dentist, which includes eating a balanced diet and brushing and flossing on a regular basis, can significantly reduce your risk of dental problems. Keep in mind the importance of getting regular dental exams at Avenue Dentistry, your partner in achieving and maintaining the best possible oral health. Current Dental Marketing Strategies to Grow Your Practice
In todayâs competitive healthcare environment, dental practices need to embrace modern marketing strategies to thrive. As a dental professional, your expertise lies in providing exceptional care, but marketing plays a crucial role in attracting and retaining patients. Dental marketing is essential to differentiate your practice, build trust, and maintain long-term relationships with patients. Below, weâll explore some highly effective dental marketing strategies that can help you grow your practice and reach a wider audience.
1. Optimize Your Website for SEO Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the foundation of any successful digital marketing strategy. It involves optimizing your website so that it ranks higher on search engines like Google, making it easier for potential patients to find you. Keywords such as "dentist near me" or "dental implants" are commonly used by people searching for services. Including relevant keywords, such as dental marketing, in your websiteâs content, meta descriptions, and blog posts will help increase your visibility online.
To improve SEO: Ensure your website is mobile-friendly and loads quickly.
Create content that answers common dental-related questions (e.g., "What are dental implants?" or "How to prevent gum disease?").
Use local SEO techniques, such as adding your dental practice to Google My Business with accurate contact information and office hours.
Regularly update your blog with fresh, informative content.
2. Leverage Social Media Marketing Social media has become an essential tool in reaching and engaging with patients. Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn allow dental practices to share information, interact with followers, and highlight services. Through consistent posting, you can create a loyal following and stay top-of-mind for patients who may need dental services.
What to post: Before-and-after pictures of dental procedures (with patient consent). Educational posts about dental hygiene tips, treatments, and innovations in dentistry. Patient testimonials and reviews.
Promotions and special offers, such as discounted cleanings or new patient consultations. Paid advertising on platforms like Facebook and Instagram can also enhance visibility. Target specific demographics, such as location or age, to attract potential patients in your area. 3. Implement Email Marketing Campaigns Email marketing is one of the most cost-effective methods to communicate with existing patients and encourage them to return for regular checkups or dental treatments. Through newsletters or targeted email campaigns, you can share updates, promotions, and educational content.
Some tips for successful email marketing: Personalize your emails by addressing recipients by name. Use engaging subject lines to increase open rates. Include a call-to-action (CTA) that encourages recipients to schedule an appointment or take advantage of a special offer. Segment your email list to send more relevant content to different patient groups, such as new patients versus long-term patients.
4. Encourage Online Reviews Online reviews can significantly impact a potential patient's decision to choose your dental practice. Most people trust peer recommendations and reviews when choosing healthcare providers. Encourage satisfied patients to leave positive reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, or Facebook.
To encourage more reviews: Ask patients directly after their appointments to leave a review. Send follow-up emails with a link to your review page.
Offer incentives, such as entry into a raffle or a discount on their next service, for leaving a review (if allowed by your local regulations).
Respond to reviews, whether positive or negative, to show that you care about patient feedback and are committed to providing excellent service. 5. Invest in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising While SEO can organically improve your search rankings over time, PPC advertising can provide immediate visibility on search engines. With PPC ads, your dental practice can appear at the top of search results for specific keywords, such as "best dentist in [your city]" or "cosmetic dentistry services."
To maximize the effectiveness of PPC campaigns: Choose highly targeted keywords that align with your practice's services. Create compelling ad copy that highlights your practiceâs unique value propositions, such as "affordable dental care" or "experienced cosmetic dentist."
Set a budget that works for your practice, and continually monitor the performance of your ads to ensure a good return on investment (ROI).
6. Partner with Local Businesses Building partnerships with other local businesses can help you reach more potential patients. Collaborate with businesses such as gyms, wellness centers, or beauty salons to cross-promote each otherâs services. For example, a spa might refer their clients to your practice for teeth whitening services in exchange for you referring patients to their business for relaxation treatments.
7. Use Video Marketing Video content is highly engaging and can significantly boost your online visibility. Create short, informative videos showcasing your expertise, office environment, and patient success stories. Posting these videos on platforms like YouTube and sharing them on social media can help potential patients feel more comfortable and connected with your practice. Popular video topics include: Virtual office tours. Explaining common dental procedures. Answering frequently asked dental questions. Patient testimonials or success stories.
Incorporating a comprehensive dental marketing strategy into your practice is essential for growth and patient retention. By optimizing your website for SEO, leveraging social media and email marketing, encouraging online reviews, investing in PPC advertising, and engaging with your community through partnerships, you can set your dental practice apart from the competition. Remember, consistent effort in marketing will result in long-term benefits for your practiceâs success.

The Power of Dental SEO: How to Attract and Retain High-Value Patients
In todayâs digital age, having a strong online presence is crucial for any business, and dental practices are no exception. Dental SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and dental branding have become powerful tools for attracting and retaining high-value patients. This article delves into the strategies and benefits of combining dental SEO with robust branding, and how this dynamic duo can transform your practice by boosting visibility, driving quality leads, and enhancing patient loyalty.
Understanding Dental SEO and Branding
Dental SEO refers to the specialized practice of optimizing a dental practiceâs website and online presence to rank higher in search engine results. This involves various techniques, from keyword optimization to local SEO, designed to improve your websiteâs visibility to potential patients searching for dental services in your area.
Dental Branding, on the other hand, involves creating a distinct and memorable identity for your practice. This includes your logo, colors, voice, and overall image, which helps differentiate your practice from competitors and fosters a connection with your target audience.
Why Dental SEO and Branding Matter
Increased Visibility and Recognition: Most patients begin their search for a dentist online. Effective SEO ensures your practice appears at the top of search engine results, while strong branding helps your practice stand out and be easily recognizable.
Quality Leads: SEO targets users who are actively searching for dental services, which means the leads generated are more likely to convert into actual patients. Meanwhile, strong branding creates a lasting impression, making patients more likely to remember and choose your practice over others.
Cost-Effective Marketing: SEO offers a more cost-effective approach with a higher return on investment compared to traditional advertising. Strong branding complements this by making your practice memorable and appealing, reducing the need for additional marketing spend.
Enhanced Credibility and Trust: High search engine rankings enhance your practiceâs credibility, while effective branding builds trust and fosters a positive perception. Patients are more likely to choose and remain loyal to a practice they find credible and well-branded.
Strategies to Attract High-Value Patients
Keyword Research and Optimization:
Identify High-Value Keywords: Use tools like Google Keyword Planner or Ahrefs to find keywords that potential high-value patients are searching for, such as âcosmetic dentist near meâ or âhigh-end dental implants.â
Optimize On-Page Elements: Incorporate these keywords naturally into your websiteâs content, including titles, headers, meta descriptions, and image alt texts. Ensure that each page is optimized for specific keywords relevant to the services you offer.
Local SEO Tactics:
Google My Business (GMB): Claim and optimize your GMB listing. Ensure that your practiceâs name, address, phone number, and business hours are accurate. Encourage satisfied patients to leave positive reviews, as this boosts your local search rankings.
Local Citations: Ensure consistency across local directories and review sites. This consistency helps search engines verify your practiceâs location and improves local search rankings.
Branding Consistency:
Visual Identity: Maintain a consistent visual identity across your website and all marketing materials. Use your logo, colors, and fonts consistently to reinforce brand recognition.
Tone and Messaging: Ensure your website content, social media posts, and patient communications reflect your brandâs voice and values. This consistency helps build a cohesive and memorable brand image.
Content Marketing:
Create Valuable Content: Develop content that addresses common patient questions and concerns, showcases your expertise, and highlights the benefits of your services. Blog posts, FAQs, and patient testimonials can all contribute to building your authority and reinforcing your brand.
Engage with Visuals: Incorporate high-quality images and videos of your practice, staff, and procedures. This not only enhances the user experience but also supports your branding efforts by showcasing the personality and professionalism of your practice.
Mobile Optimization:
Responsive Design: Ensure your website is mobile-friendly. A significant portion of searches are conducted on mobile devices, and a responsive design improves user experience and search rankings.
Page Speed: Optimize page load times. Fast-loading pages enhance user experience and reduce bounce rates, which positively affects your SEO performance.
Link Building and Brand Partnerships:
Quality Backlinks: Seek opportunities to earn backlinks from reputable websites and local organizations. This can include partnerships, guest posts, and local business directories. High-quality backlinks signal to search engines that your site is authoritative and relevant, while partnerships enhance your brandâs visibility and credibility.
Retaining High-Value Patients Through SEO and Branding
Attracting high-value patients is only the first step; retaining them is equally important. Hereâs how SEO and branding can help:
User Experience (UX):
Ease of Navigation: A well-structured website with intuitive navigation ensures that patients can easily find information, book appointments, and contact your office.
Engaging Content: Providing valuable content, such as dental care tips and treatment explanations, keeps patients engaged and encourages them to return to your site.
Brand Loyalty:
Consistency and Reliability: Consistently delivering on your brand promises and providing exceptional patient experiences reinforces loyalty. Ensure that your branding message is aligned with the actual patient experience.
Personalized Communication: Use SEO insights to understand patient preferences and interests. Tailor your communications and offers based on this data to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty.
Regular Updates:
Keep Content Fresh: Regularly update your website with new content, patient testimonials, and information about new services. This not only improves SEO but also keeps patients informed and engaged with your practice.
Brand Evolution: Periodically evaluate and refresh your branding to stay relevant and appealing to your target audience.
Conclusion
Combining the power of dental SEO with effective branding is a potent strategy for attracting and retaining high-value patients. By implementing robust SEO techniques and maintaining a strong, consistent brand identity, you can enhance your practiceâs online visibility, drive qualified leads, and build lasting patient relationships. Embrace the synergy of SEO and branding to transform your practice and ensure long-term success in a competitive digital landscape.
