The Kingkiller Chronicle Character Cards

For my husband's birthday this year, I decided to make character cards for five characters from his favorite book series, The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss.

For our last day, we have Denna, who is probably disappearing from another town after leaving absolutely no forwarding instructions for Kvothe whatsoever. Good luck!

here is my attempt at kvenna! we don't get too much on denna beyond poetic ramblings of her beauty (and that she has nice ears??) but i did want to include the slightly crooked nose and the all important braids in her hair! what do you think?

erm, random question for whoever wants to answer: - What season(s) of the year do you like the most? and why? me personally, i love autumn and winter!! the leaves get so colorful and pretty that time of year and seeing the snowflakes float or twist like crazy in the wind outside my window is mesmerizing/hypnotic <3 (plus i get warm apple cider w/ caramel, it's heavenly) ~ see ya, suckers ✌💜

(Apologies on the wait. Hands tire out quick, so we're changing things up a little bit♡ Random wheel chose: Denna)

Not sure why you wanted to go into a hospital to talk about the seasons of all things but, you do you XD (harmless joking, of course~)

"Are you here to set up an appointment?" A woman seems to have answered your entrance. She is a bit short, but stands on longer legs. You blink, her insectoid wings lightly flutter like cloth against her back.

"Ma'am?" You blink again, she nearly scoffs under her glasses. Always gawked at she thinks, never taken seriously. Thankfully, you don't seem to last in your thought and instead; approach her counter with immediate interest, she is all but pleased.

"Ma'-" She doesn't get to finish and watches you wonder away from her to gaze at the wonders of what seems to be a regular, ol hospital just with added magical equipment. She draws another breath at you and carefully, ever gingerly extends an extra arm to keep you in place.

"What was your question? Is that what you are here for?" Quiet, her tone is rather quieted. But, you feel you can definitely detect some annoyance in her words.

Her eyes tiredly register that, that seems to be what you want and nods to herself to commit the action. With a light push up of her glass ware, you're sure she will be rather dismissive about it. Although, what you didn't expect was her tone to be so light instead.

"I like Spring. Not full Spring; Just the light shows of Spring. The light trails, indications that the season itself is coming into bloom... Now;"

Denna seems almost to sigh afterwards, a free hand making idle work to close some things before taking their attention towards the primary subject; you.

"Get out.. of my Hospital Ma'am... Please." She all but delicately scoots you out now that your question is done and she has patients to attend to.
