Able
Worker Wage - ★★★★☆
90% of the workforce at ABLE is female, changing the community by assigning empowering jobs to women. Able partners with vendors who share the same mindset.
Nashville minimum wage: $7.25/ hour Nashville individual living wage: $14.84/ hour (data from MIT Living Wage Calculator) Lowest wage at ABLE: $15.00/ hour
Wage scored by third party on-site auditor, employee interviews and verified company documents: 89.6% There is no confirmation on how much workers outside of the United States are making.
Working Conditions - ★★★☆☆
We have found that workers at ABLE prioritize empowering women and disadvantaged communities by providing fairly paid jobs, but they only ensure a living wage to the workers in the final production stage. The company also partly traces its supply chain through all stages of production. They do use a third-party auditor to audit their suppliers every year.
Sustainable Materials - ★★★★☆
ABLE claims to use eco-conscious materials and guarantees the pieces to last a lifetime:
Leather used is upcycled from discarded animal hides. Vendor partners use a 100% recycled, closed-loop water system. Sterling silver used is recycled. They steer clear from harsh chemicals like citric acid, instead of sodium bisulfate, for cleaning newly soldered jewelry. Scrap metal is collected and sent to a refinery to be recycled. Denim is sourced from western partners to reduce carbon footprint. They use a liquid indigo that requires less water when being washed. Denim scraps are given to the government to use for housing insulation. Packaging is in the process of becoming 100% recyclable.
Overall, ABLE prioritizes the longevity of their products through the use of low-impact and recycled materials, but there is no evidence they are taking action to eliminate or lessen their use of hazardous chemicals.
Environmental Impact - ★★★★☆
ABLE impacts the environment through the use of sustainable materials and the longevity of their products, resulting in less clothing in landfills.
Social Impact - N/A
Due to the size of the brand, there is not a discernible social impact.
Inclusivity - ★★★★★
ABLE’s website reflects their efforts for inclusivity, showcasing their choice for diverse models and available sizes, ranging from XXS-3X. Prices range from $30 to upwards of $300.

"Tantalize"--Violet Chachki
Summary: After watching her friends finally get together or get back together against all odds, Violet wonders if it’s her turn next. From fizzling flings who stand her up before red carpets to straight-up losers like the one that her friends nicknamed “Wolfman," Violet sure has a bad track record. But Violet can hardly focus on her love life woes when she is so caught up in Paris Fashion Week. She has shows to watch, luncheons to attend, cocktail hours to dominate, fittings to squeeze in! Violet is decidedly busy! Too busy for love, surely! Besides, while all this is happening Yellow Vest Protests are on the rise in France once more. Can everyone just get out of Violet’s way for a minute and let her go?
Los Angeles was Los Angeles. Berlin was Berlin. New York was New York
But Paris was everything.
Paris was, in its bones, grace. There was a consistency to the city that felt like a beautiful pattern, like an artist had stood above in the sky and painted it with a brush of refinery. While not one known to get lost in architecture—though it was interesting and stunning and something to admire, it did not enthrall her in the way fashion did—Violet had been unable to escape the allure of the Haussmannian style. The curling, wrought-iron terraces juxtaposed with perfect rectangular windows. The corner buildings with rounded edges as if they themselves could slip right around said corner. Such uniformity of style made the interspersed cathedrals of yesteryear or the quintessential cafes with overgrown flowers and colorful awnings pop.
Paris was where fashion lived, died, and resurrected—and everywhere you looked it was Easter. He is risen and He wants you to wear your finest.
Ladies of stature wore trenches and dark trousers; they carried umbrellas with wooden tips and decades of looking down their noses. Some men who considered themselves cutting-edge walked, hips first, in oversized denim paired with turtlenecks under vests under blazers—layers upon layers, bulk on rail-thin frames. Other men wore bespoke suits with ties of every shade and Oxfords that shone without being shiny. Some young women were unadorned with wind-swept hair and simple white blouses; they did not have time for you. While other young women still fell into the rainbow; their multicolored looks chicly mixed pattern, texture, and size.

staying safe and stylish with coveralls.
Tumblr media
In today's fast-paced world, safety should never be sacrificed for style. Whether you're working in hazardous environments or simply tackling DIY projects around the house, finding the right clothing that offers both protection and comfort is essential. Fortunately, FRC (Flame-Resistant Clothing) or   everyday coveralls provide a perfect balance of functionality and fashion, keeping you safe and stylish in any situation.
Understanding everyday coveralls or FRC clothing.
FRC clothing is specially designed to provide protection against flames, sparks, and other thermal hazards. Made from durable, flame-resistant materials such as Nomex or treated cotton, these garments offer peace of mind in high-risk work environments like oil refineries, chemical plants, and welding shops.
Despite their primary focus on safety, modern FRC clothing comes in a variety of styles and colors, allowing wearers to express their taste while staying compliant with safety regulations.
From rugged work shirts and pants to cozy jackets and hoodies, there's an FRC option for every occasion, whether you're on the job site or enjoying outdoor activities with friends and family.
Everyday Coveralls for All Occasions:
While FRC clothing is ideal for hazardous work environments, everyday coveralls offer a more versatile option for a wide range of activities.
These coveralls come in lightweight, breathable fabrics like cotton or polyester blends, making them perfect for everyday wear in various settings, from gardening and automotive maintenance to DIY home improvement projects.
With features like multiple pockets for convenient storage, adjustable waistbands for a customized fit, and easy-to-remove sleeves for added versatility, everyday coveralls are practical and functional without compromising on style.
The Intersection of Safety and Style:
Contrary to popular belief, safety clothing doesn't have to be bulky or unflattering. Thanks to advancements in design and technology, FRC clothing or everyday coveralls are now more stylish and comfortable than ever before.
Whether you prefer classic denim coveralls for a timeless look or sleek, tailored FRC shirts for a modern twist, there's a wide range of options available to suit your taste and lifestyle.
By choosing safety clothing that combines functionality with fashion, you can prioritize your well-being without sacrificing your personal style, allowing you to look and feel your best in any situation.
In a world where safety is paramount, FRC clothing or everyday coveralls offer a perfect blend of protection, comfort, and style. Whether you're navigating hazardous work environments or tackling everyday tasks at home, these versatile garments provide the peace of mind you need to stay safe and stylish wherever life takes you.

Taylor Swift is worth more than $300 million — see her bicoastal mansions, lavish vacations, and generous gifts to fans and friends
Hillary Hoffower August 19, 2018
Tumblr media
Taylor Swift reportedly has a net worth of more than $300 million. Christopher Polk/Getty Images
Taylor Swift's net worth is currently an estimated $320 million, according to Forbes, making her one of the world's highest-paid celebrities.
Once Swift's Reputation Stadium Tour ends this fall, her net worth could climb even higher.
Swift spends her fortune growing her $84 million real estate portfolio and donating to causes and charity.
Taylor Swift never fails to impress.
At 15 years old, she was the youngest songwriter to ever sign with Sony. She now has 10 Grammys on her shelf, several tours under her belt (including one that generated a staggering quarter of a billion dollars), an endless list of chart-topping songs and albums, and a beloved fan base who dub themselves "Swifties."
Such success makes Swift one of the world's highest-paid celebrities and one of the richest female singers. According to Forbes, she has an estimated net worth of $320 million — and that's only expected to rise once her current six-month Reputation Stadium Tour wraps up later this year.
Swift has been strategic and generous with her money, investing in a sprawling $84 million real estate portfolio and often donating it to causes she supports and people in need.
Below, see how Swift earns and spends her fortune.
Taylor Swift currently has an estimated net worth of $320 million, which has grown due to her music, merchandise, and endorsements.

Ever the superstar, Swift's endorsement deals and partnerships are with high-profile brands, including Keds, Diet Coke, CoverGirl, and Apple, which bring in a lot of income.

Swift has had a long-term partnership with Diet Coke since 2013, which has involved her chatting about her love for the drink in a "Bon Appetit" interview and holding the drink while on camera.

Adele and Madonna, who have comparable fan bases to Swift, didn't put as much effort into brand partnerships and touring as Swift did in 2016 — and only made half of her paycheck, at $80.5 million and $76.5 million respectively, according to Quartz.
Tumblr media

In fact, aside from brand partnerships and endorsements, touring is Swift's biggest money maker. Her 1989 tour grossed more than $250 million in 2015.

She stands to earn even more than that during her current six-month Reputation Stadium Tour that began in May. Five shows in, Swift had already earned $54 million in sales — that's $10.8 million per show.

But her tours don't just bring in ticket sales. Billboard estimated that Swift sells $17 of merchandise per ticket at her shows.

Swift was the world's top-earning musician in June 2016, bringing home a record $170 million from 2015-2016, according to Forbes' 2016 list. The same year, it was estimated that Swift makes $1 million a day.

Swift had a more "quiet year" in 2017, according to Forbes, bringing in $44 million and ranking ninth on Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid celebrities.

So far in 2018, not including touring revenues, Swift has earned an estimated $5 million in record sales, $2.4 million through streaming, and $2 million in publishing royalties, according to Billboard.

A few years ago, it was estimated Swift could become a billionaire by the time she turns 30. Here's how she spends her fortune...

Swift is a real estate mogul, with a sprawling $84 million real estate portfolio that consists of eight properties in four different states, according to property values estimated by Trulia.

In Nashville, she owns a 3,240-square-foot condo worth an estimated $3 million and a 5,600-square-foot Greek Revival estate worth an estimated $2.5 million. The latter is the cheapest property she owns.

In LA, Swift currently has a Beverly Hills home on the market for $2.85 million. She also owns a 10,982 square-foot Beverly Hills mansion worth nearly $30 million. She plans to turn it into a historic landmark.
Tumblr media

Across the coast, Swift owns an estate with seaside views in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, valued at $6.65 million. With 12,000 square feet, it has plenty of room for parties with her squad.

But that's nothing compared to the estimated $40 million worth of property Swift owns in New York City on the same block in Tribeca. That includes a 8,309-square-foot large duplex penthouse and a four-story townhouse.
Tumblr media
Taylor Swift bought this townhouse last year located at 153 Franklin St. It's next to a complex where she now owns three units.  Google Maps

Swift needs a way to travel among all these homes and she's rumored to own two Dassault private jets. There's no word on how much she paid for them, but depending on the model, they can be worth up to $58 million each.

Swift can also use her jet to head out of the country for vacation. She recently spent the Fourth of July in Turks and Caicos with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn and previously took a trip to an undisclosed tropical island with former boyfriend Calvin Harris.

At the end of her 1989 World Tour, Swift took her 125-person band and crew on a vacation in Australia.

But Swift has always been generous with her money, supporting causes and helping those in need. On her 24th birthday, she donated $100,000 to the Nashville Symphony.

She's provided supported during natural disasters, donating $1 million to the victims of Louisiana floods and $500,000 to the Nashville flood relief, and raising $750,000 through a Speak Now Help Now benefit concert for victims of tornadoes in the southern US in 2011.

Swift is also supportive of education — she pledged $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame to fund the Taylor Swift Education Center and donated $50,000 to NYC public schools.
Tumblr media

She's also donated to various GoFundMe campaigns, including $10,000 toward a service dog for an autistic boy and $50,000 to her backup dancer's nephew, who was battling cancer.

And then there are the two famous checks she wrote for $1,989 — an ode to her best-selling album — sent to two fans to pay a student loan and to donate to a dance marathon benefit.

She also helps out her friends, giving pal Kesha $250,000 to help with legal fees during her lawsuit against a music producer.

But her thoughtfulness doesn't end there. And when she once went out to dinner with pals Ed Sheeran and Austin Mahone in Philadelphia, she reportedly left a generous $500 tip.
Tumblr media

Swift often spends money dining out with her squad and boyfriends, especially when in New York City, where she's dined at The Fat Radish, The Spotted Pig, Sarabeth's, and L'Asso, where she had a glass of wine and a gluten-free pizza.
Tumblr media

But Swift also saves money dining in. She reportedly loves to cook and bake and has hosted several elaborate dinner parties with her squad.

Swift also has a fur squad. She has two Scottish Fold cats, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson. The breed costs around $1,000 to $1,500. Her cats even have their own line of merchandise at her store.
Tumblr media
Evan Agostini/Shutterstock
Source:Refinery 29, Cat Breeds List
When she's not chilling at home, Swift is usually rocking designer duds during appearances or some serious street style in New York City, often mixing high-end and fast fashion. She's been spotted wearing Saint Laurent sneakers, A Christian Louboutin backpack for $1,237, and an Elie Saab gown.
Tumblr media
Michael Loccisano/Getty Images
Source:Who What Wear
But Swift's also sported more affordable pieces, such as $60 Steve Madden sandals and Gen Z-obsession Brandy Melville. She seems to have an affinity for Madewell, whose clothes range around $72 for a pair of shorts or $62 for a denim crop top.
Tumblr media

But for all the generous giving and strategic investments Swift has made with her money, she has reportedly used it in one rumored indulgence: $40 million to insure her famous legs.

Best Stocks to buy for Swing Trading for this week – Expert Stock Picks of the Week by StockXpo
Hello to all our readers including Traders, Investors, Analysts, and others!!!!
Let’s recap this week’s latest news. Jim Cramer on Thursday told investors that used car retailer CarMax‘s recent earnings shortfall is good news for the Federal Reserve’s quest to tamp down inflation. Barclays PLC agreed to pay a $200 million fine to settle Securities and Exchange Commission charges stemming from a flubbed debt sale earlier this year. Mounting volatility in government bond markets is intensifying fears on Wall Street that this year’s wild swings in the world’s safest assets could further destabilize already-rocky financial markets. For more info visit https://stockxpo.com/best-stocks-to-buy-for-swing-trading-for-this-week-expert-stock-picks-of-the-week-by-stockxpo-09-30-2022/

StockXpo's – ValueGrowth Strategy
As you know, this is more like Buffett's Value Strategy, but our stock-picking criterion is to pick the top 3 out of such value stocks. Moreover, we are more likely to hold them for the short term, not the long term. Our backtesting suggests that weekly balancing gives very good results week over week and year over year, it can grow your portfolio exponentially if you just consistently follow these strategies. So our picks are $CHS, $AZZ, and $PARR in this category.

StockXpo's TechFund Strategy
This is the most active category and we give a lot of preference here to stocks that have strong technical and strong fundamental current and past track records. That’s why we call it the TechFund (TAFA) strategy. Just like other strategies, we pick these companies here for weekly-based swing trade recommendations.
we have added it from this list $SPRO,$MOH,$ADT,$R,$HYRE,$CVLG & $CNM removed $CAAS, $MARUY, $YPF,$RWEOY,$CWCO & $NDEKY

StockXpo's Diversification Strategy
Companies often think about diversification when they reach a certain point in their development. Igor Ansoff identified diversification as one of the four main growth strategies in 1957, and it allows companies to look at other markets or new products to expand their reach and revenue.
Diversification aims to smooth out unsystematic risk occurrences in a portfolio by ensuring that the positive performance of some investments balances out the negative performance of others. Only if the securities in the portfolio are not completely correlated—that is, if they react to market factors differently, frequently in opposing ways—does diversification pay off.
If you are following all strategies and watchlist – here is the recommendation for the StocXpo diversification Strategy-
SELL(CAAS, YPF, CWCO, MARUY, YY, RWEOY, NDEKY) HOLD(AZZ, MOH, PARR) BUY(SPRO, ADT, CHS, R, HYRE, CVLG, CNM)

What Is Basic?
Tumblr media
There’s plenty of articles online that will tell you the “building blocks” of your wardrobe: a white shirt, black slacks, a denim jacket, etc., etc. But, what the writers of these articles often fail to understand is that you can have a perfectly well rounded wardrobe without the conventional idea of “basics.”
That’s not to say you shouldn’t invest in a nice pair of black pants or a white shirt or a little black dress, nor is it to say that those pieces couldn’t possibly be tailored to your particular style, but, when it comes to what you personally need in your wardrobe, no article on Racked or Refinery 29 can quite catch the nuance of your own style.
So, what is basic?
Well, what do you wear the most? What do you feel most comfortable in? If you were tasked with packing for a trip in only ten minutes, which pieces would you grab and know that you’ll have an outfit for every occasion? Maybe the crisp white button down isn’t quite you, but a neutral colored wrap top is. Maybe you don’t care for dresses for going out, but a jumpsuit is right up your alley. Basics are building blocks, meant to complement your closet and make it easier to make a stunning look for any occasion with minimal effort. That said, they should also be the highest quality and--often--the most expensive part of your wardrobe. It makes sense, right? It’s nice to toss $20 at a new trend that probably won’t last beyond the season, but with the right foundation, even those fly by night fads can be easily integrated with pieces you already own. Under the cut are some of my favorite stores for finding garments that will last, and that will always look great, no matter what Instagram is calling “style,” at the moment.
Farnol Super classic silhouettes, made sustainably at an affordable price point.
Mango A more grown up Zara, if that makes sense. Pieces are a bit trendier and more creative without being ripped straight from the runway. Offers plus sizes up to 22.
Wildfang Androgynous styles, with many pieces in sizes up to 2X.
The Undone For the design-loving minimalist, this is a great marketplace featuring lots of brands that offer interesting details on classic garments. Much more expensive, but, hey, if it’s worth it, it’s worth it!
Loralette Great for jeans, and simple dresses that could easily be dressed up or down and--more importantly--ALL plus size! Sizes up to 4X.
Botkier Can’t forget the classic handbag investment to take every look to the next level with minimal effort!
American Apparel You can’t talk about basics without talking about American Apparel. While it’s no longer run by the iconic (I don’t mean that positively) Dov, the commitment to ethical manufacturing is the same, while the price points are a little more...sensical.
In my next article, I’ll talk about my basics as well as how to build your own capsule wardrobe.

Research Proposal . Fashion retailers. Sustainable and Ethical Reclaimed clothing.
I intend to research the ethical and sustainable fashion industry the benefits and opportunities for this market to create a unique sustainable ethical clothing collection using reclaimed and recycled textiles and materials and using only waterbased products for my prints to prevent wastage in which today’s fast and fickle fashion industry throwaway culture seems to be obsessed with. Researching all aspect of industry of ethical fashion from designer to retail and the benefits of ethical fashion and the rise of the slow fashion movement, how Brexit has effected the fashion and smaller local brands have the chance to rise . I will explore future textile concepts strawberry plants created to grow lace and how large retailers have opted in to slow fashion already Selfridges creating opportunities for ethical fashion designers. H & M having product tested there more sustainable ranges,Concousness .Anna Gedda head of sustainability for H &M tells us of what they’ve learnt of sustainable production, “Helps test ideas and create discounts ,benefits from research to create water saving and energy saving technology .” The following proposal will be split into sections: *Slow fashion movement, how industry is on the turn and how fast fashion effects us globally . *Political effects on fashion and how it will or won’t effect sustainability . Brexit how luxury fashion plumeted after the vote was announced and companies such as Mulberry and felt effect instantly with 26 billion being brought to our British economy due to the EU market ,Europeans are already sourcing small supply chains this will benifit slow fashion yet the likes of Zara are already set up in morroco and Africa to create an even faster supply and demand than e have with asap. *Swot analysis strengths : reclaimed fabrics are more affordable then new making more cost effective as well as economic friendly so fits ethos concerning environment, create awareness ,sustainable fashion is on the rise and designers are using ethos in there work .strong media interest in sustainability. Weaknesses : unstable future of economy with brexit in horizon and unclarity of deals with EU and where we will stand financially and whether we will be part of single market. Cheaper more affordable clothing which is outsourced and created on a larger and more affordable scale ,to fit consumers looking for cheap fast changing fashion. Opportunities :large brands creating jobs for ethical designers and funding growing . Threats: competitors have established customers ,financial stability in fashion market. *Pest analysis Political Brexit and it effect on fashion how it made luxury brands fall talking of Brexit and fashion market Mario Ortelli senior researcher analysts at Sandford Bern stein ,“This is not good for the luxury good companies and if we look at the trading of shares of luxury goods companies, probably this Brexit design will increase the pressure of the market going down ,probably the luxury goods companies valuation will be fallen in the short term midst of this votality”. Economical: locally sourcing and reworking textiles will be economically effective ,the only worry is the squeezed purses on our economy with all government cuts yet with a small optimum that the living wage be spread and create more spenditure. Socail:with lots of eastern climates being in uproar it has already had an impact on materials our UK suppliers are able to source ,my local sewing shop in Cheltenham ’s high street has struggled to find a denim suppliers due to her last batch came from Syria .sustainable would reduced the need to feel that loss . Technology :the fashion industry is becoming more responsive to sustainable wear and are test and finding ways to create less energy and water whilst production. *Fabric and industry trends *Competitors in sustainable fashion *Business location /ecommerce the rise *Face to face interview with ethical awaiting interview with lush a retailer whom supply ethical anti cruelty to animals soap products /sustainable retailers Pact, use go and organic cotton and nontoxic dyes ,dresses at $34 .Amor Vert, statement making with less than designer pricing.
