TENGEN UZUI X WIVES X PREGNANT!READER !!
Cake!
Notes: s/n means 'sons name'
"Don't you dare move a muscle (name)!" Tengen, your husband called. He has been keeping his eyes on you for the past 8 months, especially since you were expecting in a few days. You didn't cook like you always did with hinatsuru, your co-wife, and cooking for others seemed like it was her and your kinda thing.
Hinatsuru told you to lay down and not to stand to hurt your 'poor legs.'
"Hina, what are you making for dinner? Im kinda cravin- argh-" "(name), are you okay?" "(NAME)!" your co-wife called you in alarm, suma, asking if you were okay, even though it was painfully obvious that you were indeed not okay since your hand was gripping on tightly onto the couch and sweat dripping down your temple.
"I'll call tengen! TENGEN!!!" suma screamed, but then got hit on the head by your co-wife, makio, and told her to stop yelling and to just go get him. Tengen, his presence known as the 'Sound Hashira/Pillar' had heard your grunt of pain from a mile away and has been running down the stairs quickly.
"U-uhm guys? I-I think.." you stammered. It was happening. You were gonna give birth to you, tengen and your wives baby. Tengen put his arms under your legs and his other arm on your back. "Girls, I have to take her to the butterfly estate, quickly." He said, his voice wavering in slight worry for what your about to go through. He sent his flashy, fast, and serious crow to the butterfly estate, notifying his presence. He was deadly fast, almost flying to the estate.
"Tengen!" You groaned. "Yes yes I know my dear, we're almost there, just a minute and then we'll be there!" He said, his legs moving faster than he's ever did before. He stayed true to his word because you two did arrive less then a minute later, the doors slammed open, shinobu's lavender eyes searching for something, and that something is you and tengen. As soon as she saw you, she called the other nurses working there and they rushed into the room they prepared for you. The pain was bad, you were groaning non stop, and tengen hated seeing you in pain. He'd do anything to spare you some pain.
He bit his lip nervously, they took you out of his arms and laid you down onto the bed. You clutched tengens hand tightly, slightly prepared for what's about to happen.
"Just a few more pushes (name)!" Shinobu said, it was so overwhelming for you. You yelled, screamed out in pain. "Push (name)! You can do it!" "You can do it honey! Just keep going!" All the yelling stopped and for a second, it was quiet. But the silence ended with a baby crying loudly. You groaned out in relief.
"It's a... boy!" Shinobu announced, everyone cheered in the room while you mentally cheered, too exhausted to even speak, nevermind a cheer. "I'll go wash him now and give you some time alone." She said, smiling eith her eyes closed. You two nodded before all the nurses left the room, one asking if you needed anything just to call.
You were exhausted, but you opened your eyes again and looked at tengen, his face showed love. His eyes glimmered with tears, his mouth pointing upwards showing his gorgeous white teeth. His thumb gliding over your knuckles softly. His fuchsia eyes looking- no, admiring your face. He took his other hand and wiped away your tears.
"You did amazing, my love." He mumbled, which made you have a silly smile on your face. Shinobu came back with your baby washed, him sleeping soundly. You softly gasped at the small baby, although you never seen him until now, you've always loved him. And your sure you and tengen and your co wives do too.
Talking about them, someone knocked on the door three heads popping out of the door once tengen said that they could come in.
"(Name)!!!!" Suma cried, your sure she cried more tears then you did. Makio slapped her arm and she yelped and ran to tengen. Hinatsuru calmly walked over to you and sat on the edge of the bed, her violet eyes filling with tears once she saw him. The sight of you in a hospital gown (don't ask me how you got in it) and the newborn in your arms just made her tear up. Suma and Makio walked over to you and also took in the sight. Suma tried to hold in her cries while makio teared up. Suma laid down next to you cuddling to your side.
"Tengen." "Yes my dear? Do you need anything?" Tengen got up, ready to go out and ask the nurse to whatever you wished.
"Do you wanna hold him first?" That question shocked him, it made his legs weak. He nodded firmly before taking his trembling legs and over to you where you were lying. Your wives had moved out of the way, watching the most important moment of their lives happening before them. Tengen reached his arms out, and you placed your son into his arms. He brought him over more closer to him.
"Hey little guy.." He cooed. "So this is the little troublemaker that has been making my wife distressed huh?" He scolded in a whisper way. He looked up at his wives, they already knowing what they mean. Hinatsuru was first, he placed him into her arms, and he started waking up.
"Hes got your eyes, tengen." Hinatsuru mumbled and Tengen grinned. "Well of course, he's my boy after all." he bragged and you laughed. Tengen looked over at you. Suma was next, and she cooed and cooed over him. "Awhhh!! Just look how big and adorable his eyes look! Kyaa!!" She squealed. And last but not least, was makio. He started playing with her fingers. Suma was beside her and looking closely at his face. Big mistake. He then poked her eye with his small finger, making suma recoil. "I like him!" Makio grinned, and suma sulked.
Then tengen looked over at you. "Dear, you should rest, your exhausted." He mumbled and kissed the side of your head. You nodded before drifting off into a deep slumber.
TIMESKIP!
Your son, s/n, was 2 years old today, so you and your wives started decorating the house before tengen and your son came back. Hinatsuru was a few months pregnant, so she couldn't do much, but you and your wives were still very appreciative of her effort.
The plan was that tengen would take s/n out in the town and do some fun stuff with him for a few hours and then you and your co wives would decorate and make the cake.
"oi! Suma! Your doing that wrong dumby! You aren't supposed to put that in yet!" Makio scolded suma and hit her on the head, which made suma cry out in pain. "Ladies, please stop yelling, hina is sleeping." You said, you took the role of hinatsuru on trying to get them to stop messing.
Suma clutched onto your arm. "(Name) (name) (name)!!!! MAKIO'S BULLING ME!!" she squealed. You just patted her head and told them that the cake needed to be in the oven now. You and makio started decorating the cake while suma did some touches to the house decoration.
You heard some ringing, sort of like beads clashing together. But to your relief, it wasn't tengen, it was his crow. "Message from tengen uzui! Ahem.. I am on my way home with s/n! I know as soon as I enter our flashy home, it's gonna be even flashier! S/n is very excited!" The crow read aloud. As soon as you heard that he's coming home, your mind started a small panic and you rushed into making the writing for the cake.
The front door opened. And s/n looked about in darkness and hung onto tengens neck. Tengen entered the kitchen and turned on the lights, and him and s/n got a fright because you, suma, makio and hinatsuru were hiding behind the counter. Makio and you laughed at their reaction.
"Yayayayaya! This cake is delicious! I love cake, I love cake, I love cake.." suma sang and it seemed like s/n seemed to catch on because..
"Cake!" He squealed. Silence. You all stared at him in shock. "C..Cake?" You mumbled and teared up. You then rook s/n to your side and started smiling as teared rolled down goir cheeks. "He said his first word! He said it!" You weeped. You were happy but then a tad bit sad that he didn't say mama first.
S/n smiled and giggled. "Cake Cake cake cake cake!" He ranted and you all laughed. Tengen went close to your ear. "Wanna make another one?" He whispered silently and grinned, making you all red. "OI I HEARD THAT!" suma and makio screamed. "Hey hey hey! I was joking!" But was he really? He glanced over at you and winked, yep, he definitely was not joking.

Notes: A series of small snippets exploring Giyuu and reader’s idiots to lovers relationship <3
prev - next
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
“I could just stare at you forever.”
“Creep.” Came Giyuu’s reply to your flirtation which only made you sigh dramatically.
“Come on! That was a good one! Didn’t you feel your heart skip a beat?” You weren’t one to back down so easily though.
You had befriended the Water Hashira after much efforts and stubbornness from your side, until the poor man had finally relented and did you the honor of replying to your questions.
Lately though, much to Giyuu’s annoyance, you had started flirting with him. (I’m not flirting with you! I’m just trying to make you blush. Don’t think so highly of yourself.”)
And he would rather die before admitting that your one liners, indeed, had some kind of effect on him. You couldn’t really tell though, with the way he always gave you a deadpan expression and a scathing retort. God, he hoped you did not know, he wouldn’t be able to live with himself.
(Why does he think that, though?)
“The only thing I felt was wanting to reach home faster.”
You pouted and walked a few steps ahead of him, turning back to look at him and walking backwards.
“One of these days, I’ll make you blush so hard that you’ll have a nosebleed.”
That unwillingly pulled out a smile from him which had you beaming. Now that he looked at you, you were really beautiful. Sure you were one of the strongest slayers and had prevailed against a lot of deadly opponents, but there was something about your smile, the way it had your eyes crinkling, that gave him pause. Made him think of you in a totally different way.
Shaking his head, your conversation stopped as you reached his house. You wasted no time in going ahead and calling out for Tanjiro and Nezuko.
(What even were they doing in his home, he had no clue anymore. Something about being in the most quiet and inconspicuous place. As if there was anything inconspicuous about those two.)
“Don’t you have to go home?” He called out making his way inside and you stopped before furrowing your brows at him.
“Don’t steal my babies from me.”
He just sighed and went ahead to his room. God, you were infuriating, had no sense of personal space, kept talking to him–
“Did he come around then?” He could hear Tanjiro’s voice, dull since they were probably farther from his private quarters, but his nonetheless.
He could hear your giggles.
“You are too optimistic, Tanjiro. He still thinks I’m just trying to make him blush.”
A pause.
“Which is true, I suppose, but he doesn’t really take my words seriously.”
“Why don’t you just tell him that you like him?”
Giyuu felt his breath hitch at Tanjiro’s words. There was no way that you liked him. The antisocial, rude, idiotic him.
“And risk him completely shutting down on me, and everyone else? No, I can be patient. Besides I got him to smile today!”
He could hear Tanjiro’s exclamations but his heart was beating so fast that he couldn’t even think properly. Did you really–? But you could choose anyone else–? Why him?
Your voice turned lower, more serious and Giyuu had to strain his ears to hear your next words.
“He’s one of the kindest people I know, Tanjiro. And maybe he doesn’t see it himself but I do. I see the way he is with strangers, helping silently, not asking for anything. I see him with you and Nezuko and how much he cares, even if he doesn’t show it. He deserves so much more and I hope he will get it someday. Until then, I’ll be his friend and stay by his side.”
This was not happening, no, no, no. He could feel it, his skin getting clammy, heart beating fast and the heating of his face.
You thought this much about him?
Your conversation turned to other topics after that and Giyuu moved away to go outside where the cool air caressed his warm, blushing cheeks.
You would never let him live it down if you saw him like this.
Well, since you came all this way to his home, he supposed it was only natural to ask you to have lunch together.
Along with Tanjiro and Nezuko, of course!
Just a normal lunch with friends.

Some hashiras with a tall reader
Warnings: maybe suggestive idk, not proofread, after the swordsmith village arc.
Giyuu tomioka
He might seem indifferent about it sometimes since he almost never shows any emotions
But when he met you he was kind of surprised, you stood next to him without your heels and were still taller
He admires that trait of yours, you even sometimes lean down from behind on his shoulder
Honestly, i think he really enjoys a tall s/o he protected his whole time as a hashira, makes him feels protected in some way
Giyuu heard your shoes hitting the ground, he recognized your walking pattern by heart, the clacking of your heels...he saw you in the corner of his eye, your taller figure tugged a slight smile on his lips. His gaze lingered on you for a little bit. "Giyuu ? Giyuuu are you there ?" He snapped out of his trance, locking gaze with yours, his head tilted up slightly. "Yea...i'm here" he said quietly, looking away
Sanemi shinaguzawa
He always grumbles when around you, like as if he was intimidated
He isn't, just finds it really hot, trying to hide his blush
He covers it up with aggression
Litterally fucking adores your height ??
Sanemi sounds like a sucker for a taller s/o
Wear heels and you've got him on his knees
He stood in front of you, his arms crossed on his chest, looking up at you with his angry face. You looked down at him, tilting your head slightly, which made him turn his gaze away. A sly smile attached to your lips "what?~ intimidated?" You said to him playfully. "No! Never, you're just really hot- i mean ugly!" You raised an eyebrow at him "aure, whatever you say shortie" you hit the top of his head playfully.
Muichiro tokito
He actually indifferent about it
Tall or short he like you a lot, because you alway come cloud gazing with him
But it does have an effect on him, he does like it
Sometimes he just looks up at you, his mouth slightly parted
Muichiro looking up at you, mouth slightly parted as his hair flows with the wind. "You look pretty" he said, his expression not changing a single bit. "Thank you mui, you're very pretty too" he tilted his head before smiling up at you "your height is very impressive you know.." "really..?" "Yes.." he felt his whole body being engulfed in a hug "thank you...i appreciate it a lot"
Obanai iguro
He was a little impressed with your height but he quickly got used to it due to gyomei existing
Obanai has a smaller figure so you really tower over him
It might seems crazy but he wasn't just impressed but intimidated too at first.
But if kaburamaru likes you, you can't be so bad, can you ?
Yea he fucking started loving you
You pinned him to a wall one day and it looked like a bear next to a bee
"what are you doing" obanai said, his voice laced with venom, he got that tough exterior but soft inside. You didn't let that discourage you and leaned your face closer to his, he froze, he hoped you couldn't hear his heartbeat. He eyed you down for a hot second. You were at least one head and a half taller than him, he felt like a little mouse but it was you so, maybe it was turning him on just a little tiny bit.

HOT POLICEMAN
Warnings: sex car, unprotected sex, ass slaps, cum, pet names, squirt, Modern! Au, Police officer!Sanemi x Wife!Reader.
Sanemi fucks you in the police car!
a/n: SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH BABYS!! I promise I'll improve. SO, hope y'all like this.
You and Sanemi have known each other since childhood. You were there at his house when he decided to become a police officer after beating up a kid who had stolen his lollipop.
You were there when he had to clean up the wounds from the fights he got into. You were also there when he hit a kid who touched you.
You were there on the day he graduated, even though no one believed it was possible. You were there when he started studying to be a police officer, staying up until dawn with him to help him study.
You were there when he finally became a police officer. You managed to be there when he arrested his first criminal.
Or when he finally asked you to be his girlfriend and gave you a cat as a gift.
You were there, helping him pack his things to move into your house, because your apartment was bigger.
You were there when he decided he was going to ask you to marry him in a stupid way, with the help of your police partner.
And finally, there you were, walking down the aisle, seeing how nervous he was. When they finally said “you may kiss.” You would always be there, by his side.
“Excuse me, ma’am, but you’re in serious trouble. I recommend you cooperate and put your hands behind your back.”
You rolled your eyes hard, knowing exactly who that voice belonged to. As soon as you turned around, you could see the white-haired man with his hands on his hips, while looking you up and down.
I mean, who could blame him? You were wearing a short floral dress that showed off your breasts very well, highlighting every curve of your body.
“You’re stupid, you know that?” You crossed your arms, and a frown appeared on your face. It soon disappeared when you felt him pull you towards him, while he grabbed your waist and looked at you with a smile that always melted you.
“If you keep this up… I’m going to have to hold you for contempt, you know that?” He said amusedly, only taking his hand off you to dangle the handcuffs in your face.
You didn’t need much to understand exactly what he meant by that. A smile automatically appeared on your face. You loved it when he used the advantages of being a police officer with you. It was exciting.
“Oh, is that right, officer? What are you going to do? Hmm?” You said as you traced your finger along his chest. You only saw a small smile form on his face. You knew exactly what was coming.
Anyone who passed by that car would be able to hear the noises that were being made there, or even the rocking of the car, which was moving at a fast pace.
Inside the car there you were, completely naked and on all fours in the back seat, handcuffed with your hands behind your back. While trying your best not to moan, which was difficult, since the man you call your husband was thrusting so hard that you thought you might pass out from the pleasure.
You felt a strong slap, which made a moan escape your mouth. A slap that would be remembered for the next few days. You were going to go crazy.
“If you moan one more time… I’ll throw you out of this car, do you understand me?”
He pulled your hair so you could face him. You tried to answer him, but you knew that if you opened your mouth, only moans would come out.
“If you don’t tell me that you understand with words, I’ll have to stop, my dear…”
“I-I understand….hmm.. Sanemi, love…that feels so good…”
You rolled your eyes as you felt how deep he was in your wet pussy. You started to drool with pleasure. He started to go faster, mistreating your entrance and making it red with the force he used.
“Shit, honey, your pussy is squeezing me so well, I’m going to cum if you keep going like this.”
He slapped your ass again, making you bite your hand so you wouldn’t moan. Along the way, he ended up grabbing your waist with both hands and started to go faster as he felt he was going to cum.
It didn’t take long for you to feel his hot cream filling you completely. He threw his head back, as he let out a grunt of pleasure and squeezed your waist.
“Fuck…you’re so hot…”
“Sanemiiii…I haven’t cum yet…”
Fuck. He could have cum just from the pout you were making now, you looked so pathetically hot begging to cum. And how could he refuse? He pulled out without any care for you, making you moan from the lack of something inside you. You saw him start to get dressed, was he really going to leave you without cumming?? Seriously?
“What are you waiting for? Sit up straight... I'm going to devour that pussy of yours in a way that you'll never forget”
You quickly settled on the bench and spread your legs for the man. The sight made him salivate, you were completely wet. He wasn't sure if it was from your excitement, or if it was the cum he had just put in you. Obviously he took off the handcuffs first, he didn't want you complaining for the rest of the week that he didn't let you touch him.
So he kneeled in front of you, trying to adjust himself in the small space. He licks your pussy, tasting all the juices it contains, being able to taste yours and his together, as it should be.
He put his arms under your thighs and grabbed them tightly. He started sucking your clit hard, making a sucking noise that made you dizzy with pleasure. You started grabbing his hair and pulling. You felt like you were going to cum just from that.
He ran his tongue all over your pussy, from the outer lips to the inner lips. He stuck his tongue in your tight hole. You started moaning loudly and thrusting your hips towards his face. Until you felt him pinching your thigh.
“Quiet brat, or I’ll stop.”
You knew he was serious, so you held on as hard as you could to keep from moving. But it was so hard, so hard to stay still when you felt him enter you with his own tongue, sucking your clit hard, while he never took his eyes off you. You wanted it to end so badly, you felt like you were going to die if you didn’t cum soon.
When you felt the familiar sensation of contraction, you knew you were going to cum. You started squeezing your breasts. With your head back, you closed your eyes and let yourself go. As soon as the peak of your orgasm arrived, you arched your back until you couldn't anymore and screamed.
As soon as you calmed down a little, to at least sit up straight and start breathing. You saw your husband surprised, which made you frown.
"What's wrong??"
"Of every time we've had sex, this is the first time you've squirted. And I loved it."
That made you laugh. Sometimes you forgot how stupid he could be. After that, he cleaned you up with a wet wipe that he always kept in the car, and drove you home. After all, he would never leave you alone in that state, right?

Being Pregnant with Rengoku’s Baby Headcanons <3
So, Rengoku is already very protective and passionate when it comes to you.
Being pregnant makes it about 10,000 times worse.
Every morning, he’s up before the sun, waiting for you to wake up from your morning sickness. He puts a cushion where your knees go in front of the toilet, patting and rubbing your back softly and whispering,
“It’s okay, love. Let it out. I’m here for you.”
He already has tea and a warm blanket ready for you as you head back to bed.
Before you can even ask him for things, he’s there. It’s honestly kinda scary and you think he may have ESP. There’s no way he knew your cravings that well... but he did. This man is very intelligent, and a trained demon slayer. He can come back with what you wanted to eat quicker than you could say his name.
As you move further along and start to voice your anxieties about birth, he’s instantly holding you, stroking your hair, listening to everything you have to say with earnest. He always says the kindest things.
“I may not know what it will feel like, my darling, but I promise i will listen to everything you say and be here for you any way I can. That is my duty as a husband, and my desire as your soulmate.”
You instantly start crying from hormones as he smiles softly, continuing to hold you and whisper sweet things in your ear.
At night, he helps your aching back by holding up your belly for a few minutes at a time. He also LOVES LOVES LOVES talking to his baby through your belly. IT’S SO CUTE.
He contemplates everything about the baby with you, whether it be their personality or their looks. He knows they will be as beautiful as you, he assures you every time.
“Perhaps my ancestors will pass down my fiery hair..!” You two laugh, promising to let your child eat as much spicy shrimp tempura as they want.

I love you; I don't pt.2 | {SaneGiyuu}
part 1
Theme: Fluff+Angst
Note: uhh cw death
a little uzusane friendship
ooh hi its been a while since i posted writing that wasn't a reblog ‼
×××
Previously:
Giyuu didn't look back, pressing a hand to his mouth to stop a sob that threatened to spill out. He should've expected this. There was no way in hell Sanemi would've stayed in love after years, it was a miracle he'd loved him in the first place. Of course.
×××
Sanemi visited after a couple days. He had sent no warning letter—because he couldn't write coherently yet—and simply arrived at Giyuu's door.
Giyuu had opened it and then proceeded to lead a couple minutes of a staring contest in which they both blinked several times before regaining his composure and letting him in.
"What're you doing here, Shinazugawa?" Giyuu asked. He shifted his hair to cover his cheeks which burned red with embarrassment. Their last encounter hadn't been quite so successful and he had a hunch that that was exactly why Sanemi was here.
"Are you alright, Tomioka? I'm sorry about last time," Sanemi said, though his gaze was tracing around Giyuu's house. It hit him then that he'd never actually been inside here before. He'd only known the address but never wondered about what Giyuu might look like doing idle things.
"Sorry?" Giyuu frowned. "I should be sorry. I ran away like a child, I'm sorry."
Sanemi shook his head. "That was... reasonable."
"Well, what you said was also."
"Right. I still shot you down, though," Sanemi said pointedly.
"Didn't I do that to you too?" Giyuu asked. It wasn't Sanemi's fault, it was his own.
Sanemi's lips quirked in a smile. "Then we can call ourselves even, no?"
"...fine."
A moment of silence.
Giyuu watched as Sanemi took in their surroundings.
"Do you want some tea?" he offered.
Sanemi nodded slowly. "Sure. Although something cooler would be nice. The weather's insanely hot."
Giyuu nodded back. "Okay." He walked down the hall, turning to the kitchen. "...cold tea?"
Sanemi followed him, rolling his eyes. "Whatever is fine."
"Alright." He supplied the two cups of 'cold tea,' dropping several ice cubes in them.
Sanemi took the cup he was offered, taking a sip. "So...?"
Giyuu tilted his head. "Hm?"
"Are you alright? You never answered my question," Sanemi said, leaning against the wall.
"Oh. I'm... fine." Giyuu considered the question again. "I'll be fine."
Sanemi let out a breath. "If you need anything, we can talk."
"I didn't know you were so considerate."
"...well I can be if I want to."
Giyuu cocked his head to the side. "You want to be, now?"
Sanemi shrugged. "Isn't it my fault you ran away crying?"
"That's mine."
"Yeah, well, I haven't seen you cry in my whole life."
Giyuu dipped his head down. "I used to be more... emotional? I don't know. I let down my guard, so it's my fault."
Sanemi put his cup down. "Let your guard down more, then. There's no demons fucking with us anymore, you don't have to be on constant watch."
"It's more like a habit now," Giyuu murmured.
"I know. So try letting go of it."
"I can try."
Sanemi smiled. His smile was gentle and so... unlike him. Giyuu's cheeks were brushed pink and he forced himself to look away.
"Good," Sanemi said. "Anyway, this tea doesn't go good cold. I'll be going now. See you later."
Giyuu nodded. "See you later."
×××
To his surprise—which, according to Sanemi, shouldn't have been a surprise—they became friends. Nothing else, as muh as Giyuu longed for it. But it was nice. Sanemi would come over sometimes, or vise versa, and they would talk. Like they were normal people on a normal day. And he loved seeing into Sanemi's character. It was a change, for the better. Sanemi was much more open with him—as Giyuu was as well—and it was interesting to see how different he was when he could be relaxed. He smiled genuinely a lot more, too. And, despite himself, Giyuu found that he couldn't let go of his love for Sanemi. He loved him; he did. He couldn't stop it. He didn't try to, anymore. Best let it fade out.
It didn't fade, however. Though it wasn't much of a burden. It just made him love spending time with Sanemi more. Receiving letters in broken Japanese asking him if he wanted to come over. It was like falling in love all over again. He didn't mind. It was a wonderful feeling, in other perspectives. It made him happy.
Time droned on.
Four years had passed since Muzan had died. Four years, already. He didn't know what to think about how much time had passed. He was unwilling to think about it.
It was his birthday tomorrow. He prepared.

He wrote letters to the Uzui's. He wrote some to the Kamado's—and shorter ones to their friends, whom he didn't know well. He wrote one to the Butterfly mansion—Aoi. To Kiriya and the other two Ubuyashiki's. To the Rengoku's, Urokodaki. He had them all stacked up neatly, tied together and placed by a crow. Kanzaburou was far too old to be carrying anything now, so he had put a different crow to the task of delivering the letters.
Then there was one.
He had hesitated before sending Sanemi a letter. He didn't know what he would say. In the end, he simply invited him over. He was sure that none of the others knew of his birthday. In the previous years, he had simply said, vaguely, that his birthday was in February. They brought him gifts in the beginning of February. They had done it this year, as well. When they asked about the timeline, though, he brushed it off. He told them that his birthday was later in February, that they needn't worry. He would tell them. And he would. Only... after.
Sanemi arrived at his house late in the afternoon of his birthday. He didn't know that Giyuu would die today—he couldn't, right? He had with him a package. He placed it on the table in front of Giyuu, sitting down across from him.
"Happy birthday," Sanemi said, leaning onto the table. "Forgot to give you something when the others did."
Giyuu tilted his head, smiling slightly at him. "Thank you." He struggled to untie the cloth and Sanemi reached over to help him.
Inside, there was a photo album. It was pretty, looking homemade and adorned with cut-out photos of Giyuu. He opened it and found pictures slipped inside it. Pictures from the past four years. With everyone. He turned the pages, a bittersweet smile curving his lips as he gazed at the photographs. He paused at one, his eyes tracing the picture. It was of him and Sanemi, eating. At that time, Tengen had taken the picture. Claiming they looked like best friends and wondering what they would've said about this in the past.
He looked up at Sanemi whose eyes were averted, embarrassed.
"Thank you," he repeated. "I... love this."
Sanemi looked up, offering him a shy smile. "That's good. I was going to keep it blank but... you wouldn't have time to fill it. So I went to Uzui and took all the pictures he'd taken. Had them printed, et cetera."
Giyuu nodded. "I really appreciate it, Shinazugawa. I... Yeah. Thank you. Thanks."
"You keep saying that. But, uh, you're welcome," Sanemi said, dipping his head down.
Giyuu laughed softly. "I don't know what to say. It's great."
"Then hopefully you'll enjoy it till the end."
"I will."

Night came. Giyuu urged Sanemi to stay, setting up another futon for him. There weren't any other rooms and it was February; too cold to sleep on the porch or elsewhere. So the extra futon was placed in Giyuu's room.
Time came for when they would sleep. Giyuu lay, staring up at the cealing. He hadn't told anyone but lately, he'd been losing a significant amount of weight and blood. And lately, as in, in the last week. He was thankful to not have gotten another spasm of coughing in front of Sanemi, but he knew it was only bound to come. And it did. Blood had come with it, dotting his clothing red.
Sanemi must've been awake for he was at Giyuu's side in an instant. It was dark, but the red was a large contrast to the white of Giyuu's clothing and he must've seen it. "Tomioka? What happened? Are you okay?"
Giyuu answered by doubling over, the metallic taste of blood going sour on his tongue. When he looked up, he realized Sanemi had scooped him up in his arms.
Sanemi's eyebrows were furrowed in concern and he frowned. He seemed to be thinking. Understanding.
Giyuu coughed against, moving his arm up to cover his mouth so he wouldn't get blood on Sanemi.
"Tomioka," Sanemi said suddenly, once Giyuu's coughing has stopped.
It was close to midnight. The two had stayed up quite late talking, only getting into the beds around 11 pm.
"Tomioka, when is your birthday?" Sanemi's voice was tight. His eyes were focused solely on Giyuu's. "When is your birthday?" he repeated.
Giyuu bit his lip, wincing. It hurt to breathe. "Today."
"Today as in... as in the eighth? Or today as in... the ninth. Tomorrow?"
"Eight...th. Eighth," Giyuu mumbled, he closed his eyes.
"...what. Tomioka—why the- Why the fuck did you not tell anyone?! What the hell is— Oh my god- I knew something was—" Sanemi was stumbling over his words, cutting himself off. "No. No, why today? I didn't- Does anyone else—?"
Giyuu shook his head slowly. "No one else knows. I think. I didn't want them too. I invited you over because..." He paused. His breathing was heavy. He was struggling to breathe in. His lungs hurt and strained as if he'd been running for hours. "Shinazugawa.... Shinazugawa, I still like you—I lo-"
He coughed, no longer trying to cover his mouth. Blood dripped from his lips, coating them a deeper red than they'd ever been.
"Tomioka, I'll take you to Aoi's," Sanemi mumbled, rocking back on his heels. He felt weak. Giyuu was light, however. Lighter than he should be. He started to stand.
"No. No—it won't work, you know it won't work, leave-" Giyuu sucked in a shaky breath. "Leave me here. Shinazugawa. Shinazugawa—I love you, okay? I don't care that you don't like me back but I needed you to know this before I died."
Sanemi shook his head. "No. No, you're not dying now. Maybe Aoi can figure something out. I'll figure something out. You're not dying in my fucking arms, Tomioka. I won't fucking let you." His voice became desperate.
Giyuu was vaguely skeptical. Why did Sanemi care so much? "Then put me down, Shinazugawa," he said quietly. It was taking all his strength to talk. He couldn't afford losing his last precious moments.
"No, I won't, I won't," Sanemi insisted, clutching him tighter.
Giyuu's eyes fluttered open. He caught Sanemi's panicking gaze. "I... appreciate you being my friend, Shinazugawa. Thank you for the last years, you truly made them... wonderful."
Sanemi blinked rapidly. "No, no, I- ...I liked being your friend too," he mumbled. He seemed to have given up.
Ah. That was it. Giyuu nodded slowly, a small smile forming on his lips despite the pain stabbing his lungs. "I'm glad... glad you did too. I enjoyed every moment with... with you. This included."
He figured, then, that Sanemi was acting like this in his form of friendship. Sanemi cared for him—though perhaps not romantically anymore. But he cared. He had liked being his friend. That was good. Giyuu was glad.
"Thank you," Giyuu repeated.
Sanemi was quiet, leaning his forehead down against the pale palor of Giyuu's. "You should've told me it was today," he whispered.
"I couldn't," Giyuu mumbled. "I'm sorry."
"It's fine," Sanemi said. "I-"
He hesitated. And that was all it took.
In the small moment he paused, Giyuu's breath shortened. He was barely breathing. And then he was not.
There was a moment in which Sanemi vaguely registered this. He didn't understand it for a moment. Only that the ragged breathing of the man in his arms had stopped filling the silent room. Then it hit him and he struggled to keep himself up, his arms tightening around Giyuu's still-warm body. The warmth would fade soon as Giyuu's blood stopped pumping through his body.
A silent sob ripped through Sanemi's throat and he realized he was crying. His shoulders shook and he bent his head down, tucking his chin against his chest. He hadn't gotten to say it.
He didn't know how long he sat like that, almost motionless, clutching onto Giyuu's body. But then there was a hand on his shoulder. He glanced up.
Tengen was there, frowning, kneeling by his side. "I'm here, Shinazugawa," he murmured.
Sanemi must've looked like a mess. Tears streaking down his cheeks, blood staining his clothing. Tengen said nothing of it, only sitting next to him and holding his hand. They sat together for what could've been minutes or hours. Then Tengen stood silently, looking around.
"We have to bury him," he said quietly. His voice cut through the silence of the room. He sounded tired.
Sanemi nodded slowly. He was hesitant to move away.
"I'll... go and get some of the others. Put him on his bed when you're ready, okay?" Tengen said, gazing at him one last time before leaving.
Sanemi's eyes went back to Giyuu's face. It was slack, but a ghost of a smile still lay upon his lips. He paused then slowly bent down. Sanemi's lips pressed gently against Giyuu's cold, plush, blood-stained ones. He moved, dropping Giyuu gently onto the futon. Then he stood, willing his legs to work as he moved to the door Tengen had left from, making his way out of the room and away from the man whom he had thought he would never love again.

s.sanemi x reader (fem) | time-travel!reader x hashira!sanemi
a.n; it's placed somewhere before the confrontation with Muzan lol honestly, probably a lot of things are OC cuz i’m still catching up with the anime and i haven’t read the manga, sowy 👉👈🥺 — but i had this idea in my head that’s bugging me and i had to write it lol a.n2; this MONSTER was split into two 🙃 — next part will be posted next week. 😉 i decided to cut it there cuz next part is gonna be DARK and sad, probably not for everyone. so if you just like fluff, you can enjoy this part no worries~ next part is for the babies like me who loooove some tearing, ugly-cry angst with characters' deaths😜 (not Sanemi tho, that man will not die in ANY of my writings💚)
It’s been several months. Months since you appeared out of nowhere in this world.
Nobody knows why, but you haven’t been the only one. Alongside you, two others appeared. A little boy of six years old, named Riko and another boy of seventeen years old called Minato. None of you have ever met before you three appeared in the middle of the woods, right in the middle of a drawn pentagram on the ground.
You didn’t understand what was happening or why, yet your instincts screamed for you to protect them. And that’s what you did. The moment the monster appeared –of course, at the moment you didn’t know it was a demon– your body moved to stand in front of them to protect them, even though you didn’t know what to fucking do.
To sum it all up, the altercation ended with you pretty harmed, dangerously wounded, and in high levels of pain. For a moment, you thought you were in a dream –actually, a fucking nightmare. But the pain was too real for your mind to fake it. You lost consciousness holding the two boys in your arms.
When you finally woke up three days later, you were in what looked like a hospital gurney. Your wounds had been taken care of and the pain was low considering what you have been through; but still there, making you grimace here and there when you tried to move. The two boys flew their arms around you in a hug when your eyes opened and you smiled, glad and relieved that they were okay.
A man with black shoulder length hair and a scar running down from his forehead til under his eyes was standing a few meters with another one next to him. This other one looked bigger, taller and muscular, with spiky black hair and a prominent scar running horizontally across his forehead. Both of them looked… strange. They weren't looking anywhere specifically, but you knew their attention was on you three.
That first man introduced himself as Ubuyashiki Kagaya and he explained what had happened. Including why, or better explained how you came to be there. I mean, their way of dressing and talking said much. He also explained what the term Hashira meant, introducing the guy next to him as one named Himejima Gyomei.
The demon that encountered you and the two boys was considered an Upper Rank demon, still not part of the Twelve Demon Moons, but just as powerful; able to manage time and dimension. That way it could bring humans who didn’t exist in this era and eat them, smartly going completely unnoticed by the Hashira.
“There hasn’t been a demon able to do this for centuries… I’m glad we were able to put an end to his harm, before Muzan got more interested in its power. And that’s mostly thanks to you,” Ubuyashiki had said to you with a small bow in your direction; the other guy, the Hashira, also followed suit with a bow, lower to show his respect.
The girls standing close to the door in silence gasped at the action of the men, following and bowing even deeper.
You weren’t that stupid to not comprehend that what was happening was something important.
What he explained next was that thanks to something you did, another of the Hashira was able to find where you were and helped you three just in time. What exactly you did to make this happen was not quite clear to you. Or more specifically, Ubuyashiki didn’t detail it willingly. For now.
He explained everything else quite thoroughly, patiently even when Riko would ask something more than twice. He looked like a smart kid, but you could perceive how difficult it was for him to assimilate the fact that this was another world, another time period. Truth is always hurtful. In addition to that, there was no way of going back to where you three belonged. You couldn’t avoid caressing his head each time he asked again something, trying your best to comfort him. He hadn’t cried yet in front of you, and you were preparing yourself for when it happened. You wanted him to feel that he wasn’t alone; by the way Minato also patted the kid’s back and held your hand, you knew he felt the same way.
That same night, when the three of you were alone, you did have a talk with them. You had to make it clear for them to understand the main theme here: You three were in another universe, another world. And there was most likely no way back home.
Minato, being the eldest, understood. He looked of course a bit down, but he accepted the circumstances. Riko, on the other hand…
“So… I’m not goin’ to see my mommy again?” His question broke your heart.
Both your hands cupped his cute chubby cheeks, thumbs caressing in comfort, “I’m sorry, buddy.”
The tears were there in your eyes, yet you refused to let them free. Minato though had to look elsewhere to not let the kid see his tears.
“So… If the three of us are here together, does… Does that make us friends?”
“Oh, sweetheart…” You picked him up, sitting him over your crossed legs and hugged him, “Of course we are! We can even be family if you’d like.”
“I would like that…” His little voice broke and you hugged him tighter, rocking him side to side. Minato sat closer to you and joined the hug.
“We are going to be okay.”
It was a promise. You didn’t know if it was possible to promise something like that, but you did. You didn’t say it out loud, but you promised you would take care of them with all your being.
This is how your life in this new world began.
So, after a month, you have already settled in the Butterfly Mansion, helping Aoi, Kanao and the other girls with the injured demon slayers that came from time to time. You decided you have had enough with just one encounter with demons –thank you very much. Instead, you preferred helping the ones who needed after those encounters. It hadn’t been your choice completely, but after one boy called Kamado Tanjirou came pretty wounded, with burns around his body that no one knew how to treat due to the infection they had –not even Shinobu– you decided to step in. Your grandma had taught you a lot about herbal medicine, her also being a certified doctor specializing in dermatology contributed to the knowledge. It took you two days of constantly cleaning and applying the ointment you have prepared for his burns and staying by his side to control his fever and symptoms. He woke up on the third day and everyone hugged you in thankfulness. After that, Shinobu asked you to help her to run the manor alongside the rest of the girls. Of course, you said yes.
By the time Tanjirou woke up, you had already been told all about who the boy and Nezuko were. Their history was kind of harsh and admirable too. And after meeting the other boys that joined too, Agatsuma Zenitsu and Hashibira Inosuke, it didn't take much for Minato to follow their steps of becoming a demon slayer.
You were a bit worried if you’re honest. Riko and Minato had become the closest thing to a family, little brothers, in this time for you. Even though Minato was agile and hectic, you couldn’t avoid feeling worried and afraid something bad would happen. The topic even brought a discussion between you two that ended in him yelling at you, “You are not my fucking mother or my sister!”
It hurt. His words had hurt you, however, you could see the regret in his eyes after he said them. He was still a teenager, you could understand his swing moods.
“Apologize, now!” Tanjirou yelled back at Minato just as he entered the kitchen, where you and Minato were discussing. “She might not be related by blood to you, but she almost died for you when you appeared here. She has cared for you and Riko more than anyone since you have been here... Y/N might as well be like your sister by now.”
The moment had been tense, yet Minato accepted Tanjirou’s words and apologized with his head hanging low before leaving the room. You nodded in Tanjirou’s direction thanking him and then sighed.
That same night you spoke with Minato, both more calm, while sitting outside watching the night sky.
“It wasn’t my intention to–”
“I know, Y/N. It was my mistake. I shouldn’t have yelled at you like that… or said what I said,” he admitted, playing with a little ball in between his hands. He wasn’t looking at you, but you could sense his regret. “Tanjirou’s right, you know… After everything we went through, you are like my sister. You are the only family I have now.”
You felt your eyes fill with emotional tears at his slightly broken voice and one of your hands flew immediately to his shoulder and squeezed it in comfort.
After a moment of silence, and with all the worry swimming at the mouth of your stomach, you said, “If… If being a demon slayer is what you really want to be… then you have my support.” Minato looked at you, face all lightened up with shining eyes that showed how excited he was. “Only one condition…”
“Yes, anything!” He interrupted lively, kneeling next to you and holding your hand.
You looked at him directly in his eyes, before saying, “There’s nothing braver than admitting when is time to fight and when is time fly. Promise me you will choose what’s braver.”
He looked down for a moment, assimilating what your words truly meant, and when he looked back at you he nodded, firm and sure, accepting your condition. You patted his cheek lovingly before he stood and ran inside, probably excited to tell Tanjirou, Zenitsu and Inosuke the news.
You stayed there for a few more minutes. You couldn’t shake the bad taste off your mouth at the idea, still, you took a deep breath to calm your nerves. When you finally got up to walk inside and turned, you saw Shinobu standing at the doors with a smile on her face that made you smile back.
“It will never go away…”
“What?”
She put a hand over your shoulder, reassuringly, once you stood in front of her, “The feeling that he’s on the verge of death.”
Her crude words made you recoil a bit, not expecting them at all. But she kept talking.
“With this mission we have, of fighting against demons, we can’t promise anything. We never know what might happen and would be just cruel to do so, for us and for our loved ones. Yet, you didn’t make him promise that he would be back alive. You made him promise to choose braver,” she smiled again, closing her eyes, showing content. “I think that’s a loving way to ask someone to choose life quite wisely… and unique. He will remember that now every time he is on that verge. He will remember you, and I think that’s the only comfort for you to hold onto to subside that feeling and breathe. He will choose braver.”
The tears ran down your cheeks freely and the squeeze on your shoulder suddenly turned into a hug.
Shinobu has become one of your closest friends since then. Sadly, she wasn’t around often, she is a Hashira after all. But when she was around, you enjoyed it the most. Shinobu taught you many things about what she did and her techniques, but always left you wanting to know more.
You also watched Tanjirou, Zenitsu and Inosuke train some days, now joining them too was Minato. Each of the experienced three boys had their own styles and their own techniques. But none other caught your attention quite intently as much as Tanjirou’s. With some sways of his katana, they would change colors. It was almost imperceptible, but you could see it. Sometimes, they were blue and white, which reminded you of water waves. Other times, they were a mix of deep red, yellow and pink; almost as if there was lava dancing around him and his katana. You became pretty curious about those particular moves. But you didn’t dare to ask him, so you kept to your work.
Now it’s been six months, and by this time, you’re considered a great healer. Especially after a huge attack that left you taking care of and healing almost half the Hashira men.
It had been chaotic that morning. Aoi came running to your bedroom, profusely apologizing for waking you up so early and begging for you to hurry towards the infirmary section. You dressed as quickly as you could and sprinted.
Three of the Hashira men, alongside other demon slayers and corps, were being treated by the girls, Shinobu included. She barked orders here to there to everyone as she tried to hold down a convulsing big man. You recognized him immediately. Himejima Gyomei.
“What happened?” You quickly acted, helping her to keep him still, or at least to try not to let him fall from the gurney.
“A fuckin’ demon is what fuckin’ happened! What sort of stupid question is that?!” A guy yelled from the gurney next to Himejima.
That’s the first time you met Shinazugawa Sanemi.
You were surprised by how tall and muscular he was, the gurney looked too small for him –just like for Himejima. Yet who of the guys wasn’t? Almost all of them were big and bulky. Yet Shinazugawa somehow looked different to you. He had spiky short white hair that made you think not everyone could pull that look and still be considered handsome. Everyone but him. And he had large almond-shaped eyes with purple irises that, for a split of a second, left you out of breath. Well, that could have been more thanks to the force you were using in trying to maintain Himejima as still as possible for Shinobu, right? However, it's the amount of scars on his face that got your attention. He looked like he had done this job for years. And when one of the girls helped him out of his bloodied haori and shirt, his body said so too. Plus the new ones. That was kind of… sad.
“Let go of me, idiot! I’m fuckin’ fine! Go help the others!”
Yep, no, he was a douchebag.
You choose to not answer him back and focus on immobilizing one of Himejima’s arms so Shinobu could finally inject him with some antidote and he stopped thrashing around. Of course, all of this under the yells, protests and insults of the guy on the adjacent gurney.
Once the big Hashira was calmed, Shinobu sighed tiredly looking at the guy behind you, who was protesting quite loudly. She looked at you, shrugged, and turned to help the other hashira, Obanai Iguro.
“Fuckin’ let go!”
You turned around to face him. Shinazugawa Sanemi was half standing from the gurney, pulling back and forth his own haori with the little –and completely terrified– girl who was only trying to do her job and heal him. And at that, you completely lost it.
“Enough!” You exclaimed firmly at him, catching his immediate attention. And everyone’s. “Fucking listen to me, we are trying to work here and your yells are distracting and annoying. You are bleeding profusely from your shoulder, which means you’re going to pass out at any moment now if you don’t fucking stop moving around and get stitched up. So, I suggest you shut the fuck up and leave so we can do our job in peace. Or shut the fuck up and let the poor girl heal you so your stupidly annoying ass doesn’t die and can get the hell out of here. Either way, stay fucking quiet before I put you to sleep!”
Silence. No one said a thing or moved for a whole minute, expectantly. Of what exactly? You’re pretty sure of Shinazugawa’s answer and reaction.
Your eyes were directly connected to his, both sets firing daggers at each other, trying to win a battle just the two of you were part of. It’s heavy, the energy around felt charged and ready to explode at any second. And you were ready for it. This was your place, your job, and he was being a problem to everyone with his annoying remarks. He had to understand that you were the boss here.
And he did.
Everyone was witness to how Shinazugawa Sanemi sat back down on his gurney, grumbling under his breath, but didn’t say any more as he let the girl finally attend to his wounds. Two seconds later, he lost consciousness. You rolled your eyes, approaching and helping Kiyo with the hot-blooded Hashira.
After that day, everyone showed deep respect towards you. You have tamed the Shinazugawa Sanemi, the stubborn and wild Wind Hashira, and that by no means was something small. The word had even spread towards the Master, Ubuyashiki Kagaya, who Shinobu told you had laughed so hard over what happened that he cried.
Therefore, from that moment on, every time the hashira gets hurt after confronting some powerful demons, you are the one sent to heal him.
Because you’re the only one he doesn’t protest against or yell at when you’re treating him. He doesn’t even speak to you more than necessary. He went from insulting your guts one day to not even looking at you on the other. It is weird, but quite honestly you preferred it that way.
Even after several years have passed, he still hasn't said more than necessary whenever you treat him. Only informing you of his condition for you to do your job. But the moments only the two of you share during his healing are spent in silence. However, there is one time he actually says something different.
You are applying an ointment on his forearm due to a burn pretty similar to the one you once treated on Tanjirou, very concentrated on your actions. Gently, you hold the inner side of his forearm as your fingers from the other hand apply the cool and fresh ointment over the burn in slow, tender circles. Shinazugawa never moves or makes any sound when you are healing him, which you find weird considering the deep wounds he sometimes appears with for you to heal. But even though he mostly never reacts, you still treat him with gentleness. You know his wounds must hurt.
You have been like that for a couple of minutes, doing your job while he stays silent. Until he speaks.
“H-happy birthday,” Shinazugawa suddenly mutters, making you look up at him surprised. You then look towards the old clock hanging high on the opposite wall, which marks the end of the day and the beginning of the new one. It is indeed your birthday.
Your eyes travel back at him, but he is looking the opposite way, his typical grumpy expression on his face. You smile slightly.
“Thank you.”
He simply answers with a “mmh”, acknowledging your thankfulness, and proceeds to not say anything else. You try not to smile more than the small curve of your mouth, knowing fully any other sound will cause another argument with this temperamental man. He was leaving with your permission in the morning due to an important mission. Of course, under strict conditions, he would have to travel with the ointment and apply it at least four times a day. He agreed, so you were actually showing him how to use it. The few small pots with the ointment were ready wrapped in a cloth over his bed.
After telling him to send Sorai in case he needed some more, you bow slightly goodbye before leaving the room.
The next morning when you wake up, you find a red benibara flower on your bedside table. Somehow, you know it’s Shinazugawa’s birthday present for you and you can’t help but smile throughout the whole day.
The worry though is still latent.
It’s been years already and the worry you feel is still ineluctable every single time you have to treat any of the hashira or the demon slayers. But especially with Shinazugawa. He is a freaking Hashira –and one of the strongest in your opinion– which means he goes on the most difficult and dangerous missions. He wins mostly every time, but he also breaks his own body with each of them.
You always worry for Shinazugawa, you can’t avoid it. It’s almost like a string always pulling you towards him. Whenever something big happens and everything is chaos around, your body moves on its own and doesn't stop until you find him. Sometimes he’s alright; when your eyes find each other he nods, a sign that he is okay and that you can go and attend to others. Other times he’s a mess; gravely injured, bleeding profusely til he almost loses consciousness. Those times your whole being only focuses on him and you don’t leave his side until he’s completely out of danger.
You don’t know how to explain it. You feel… like you need to protect him every time you look at him.
Is this… some kind of… love?
You snort, sipping carefully from the little cup of red tea you decided to enjoy in the manor’s garden. It’s barely morning and everything is quiet and peaceful. Mornings like this help you analyze things in your head you mostly don’t speak to anyone. Shinazugawa Sanemi is one of those.
How could this be love when you barely speak to each other? Clearly, it’s just infatuation, right? The man is hot –you have eyes, for god’s sake. He is a man who walks with a purpose, filled with a confidence you have never seen before. That’s very attractive.
Now, he opens his mouth and he turns into an ugly ogre. It makes you want to slap your forehead in disbelief. He’s always yelling and bad-mouthing at someone, right in their face. Always threatening to kill, destroy, and many other harsh threats. It completely infuriates you when he treats the training corps –who are too young in your opinion, just kids– like that too.
Even so, he never treats you the same way. Shinazugawa hasn’t even raised his voice at you again since that first encounter where you yelled back. Why? Why does he never treat you like the others?
“MISS Y/N! MISS Y/N! Master Sanemi is in need of your attention! Hurry!” Sorai crows loudly at you, appearing out of nowhere after the first shine of the rising sun appears on the horizon, catching you by surprise just when you are about to walk inside the manor.
“What?! Where? There isn’t any–”
And just as you’re about to finish what you’re saying, Shinazugawa falls from the air. His stane is as cool as always. One leg stretched behind him while the other flexed, his forearm supporting himself after the fall in that one as the green residue from his technique disappeared with the wind he brought. You frown, he doesn’t look injured, his clothes aren’t even thorn or bloody. You could have even bet he just appeared like that and in that position just to brag about his skills.
But he doesn’t move from his position nor look up, which makes you feel something’s weird. “Shinazugawa?” You look more intently, eyes really focusing on his persona, and then you see it. The controlled and almost imperceptibly trembling in his whole body. Oh, his breathing technique is actually what is keeping him so still. Meaning, something’s definitely wrong.
You drop your cup of tea and run towards him when he lets his katana fall to the ground and his body sways a bit to the side, almost losing his balance.
“Go find someone inside!” You yell at Sorai, who obeys you immediately and flies inside the manor.
Your arms surround the hashira’s torso when you approach him, helping him stand by putting his arms over your shoulders. You realize then how actually big this man is and as he stands, he towers completely over you.
“Hey, I got you,” you whisper, looking up at his face with both of your bodies impossibly close.
His eyes look down and find yours, but they look quite disoriented, and you know he’s minutes away from losing consciousness.
Shinazugawa lets a smart snort out of his nose and a crooked grin flutters on his face for a split second, which, if the action hasn't made you realize the blood inside his mouth and worry, you would have thought that expression was sort of cute, attractive even. But fucking blood is coming out of his mouth!
“You got me?” He whispers softly, tenderly even. He’s clearly in some sort of delirious state and that worries you even more.
“Yeah, I do,” he nods at your answer, his forehead then resting over yours and closing his eyes for a moment; but you decide that’s a bad idea when his trembling legs and your weak strength make you both sway back and forth, unstable. “Hey, no, don’t. Don’t close your eyes. Look at me.”
He obeys instantly, taking a long deep breath as he stands straight and more firmly on his feet. It’s clear his technique is the only thread that keeps him conscious enough. His eyes now look more direct at yours, after several consecutive blinks that help him focus.
“Good, good,” you repeat, putting all the strength you can around his torso as you press him against you. A smile then spreads on your face after looking down at your bodies stuck together. “You look like trash,” you joke looking up at him.
He lets out a breathed laugh followed by a grunt of pain and another sway in both your stances that almost makes you both fall, “Don’t– Fuck! Don’t make me… laugh…”
“Sorry, sorry… I’m sorry!” You cry worried, cursing yourself for your stupidity. He’s barely holding up and you go and joke about it.
He moves one of his hands then to hold the back of your head and makes you hide your face in his neck. It feels… odd. The tenderness in which he moved you. You could swear it’s his way of telling you to not worry. However, you think he’s doing it more for him, to ground himself. You then feel his chin rest over your head.
“Breathe, Sanemi. Breathe…”
You feel him take another deep inhale of air and hold it for a moment, before slowly releasing it in very tiny puffs of air.
“That’s it. You’re doing great,” you praise, and the slightly more firm grip from his hand on the back of your head is answer enough that he’s listening to you. “You’re okay. You’re going to be okay…”
You promise. Even though you didn’t say it out loud explicitly, you did promise.
And, after eight days of constant attention during the day, sleepless nights sitting next to his bed and caring for his wounds very thoughtfully when he finally wakes up, you can’t help but really cry.
You have fallen asleep, sitting in that rough wood chair next to his bed, body bending forward with your arm used as a pillow over a small space on the side of the bed, right next to his hand. It is what actually woke you, his big hand patting weakly and softly on your head. You sat back uptight, eyes opened wide as he blinked several times, adjusting to the daylight entering the infirmary.
Shinazugawa then looks at you, a tiny curve on his mouth resembling a smile on his face, “You do got me, huh?” His voice sounds hoarse, painfully thick.
And that’s all it takes for you to start sobbing and weeping like god damn kid. You hide your face in your hands, letting everything out as you bend over again towards the bed. His hand goes back to patting your head softly, comfortingly. He never asks you to stop crying; in fact, his touch feels more like he’s encouraging you to let it out. And you do.
Relief finally settles in your body… just as that other feeling that warms your chest and makes your body shudder with goosebumps at his gentle touch.
Is this really… love?

The Upper Moons With A Demon Child Reader (Platonic)
Kokushibo
Kokushibo often doesn't interact with any other demons, as long as they're useful to Muzan
But when it comes to you, he does take a slight interest in you
He tells himself it's just because you're so young, even younger than Daki
But deep down, he starts to have a weird feeling inside of him
He finds himself spending more time with you, and the other upper moons start to notice as well
Kokushibo doesn't say much, but he silently grows fond of you, no that he would ever admit that out loud
He'll offer to train with you on occasion, which he secretly enjoys
You grow fond of him, seeing him as a father figure
He even believes that you could become an upper moon someday
Douma
When he first meets you, Douma is very enthusiastic
He acts very childishly most of the time, but around you, it's ten times worse
He quickly befriends you, often taking you to his domain
He'll even share food with you, saying you're so cute that you deserve it
He kind of treats you as a younger sibling, and though you're weary of him at first you slowly grow close to him
He encourages you to get stronger, excited to see you become an upper moon like him
Douma keeps a close eye on you when he can, and though he won't say it out loud, he is worried about your safety
He's even killed demon slayers who had been targeting you once without you noticing
He may be eccentric, but Dauma genuinely wants to see you excel
Akaza
Akaza is surprised to meet you
He knew Daki was young when she became a demon, but you were even younger
You instantly take a liking to him, and he does as well
He likes to fight, and you love sparing with him as well
He kind of adopts you as his younger sister
He and Douma often fight over who gets to spend time with you, which only makes Akaza like him less
He tries to get you to stay away from Douma, but can't really stop you most of the time
Akaza always encourages you to grow stronger
He's very sweet around you
Gyutaro/Daki
Daki finds you adorable
She finds herself wanting to protect you like her brother does for her
She'll sit with you and do your hair and makeup, she just loves spending time with you
Gyutaro is hesitant at first, but he grows close to you with encouragement from his sister
They both feel the need to protect you since you remind them of themselves when they were younger
You often visit the entertainment district to spend time with them
Daki will even share food with you
They basically adopt you as part of their family

Cherry Blossom Naps 🌸 Tomioka Giyū x Reader
Pairing: Tomioka Giyū x Reader (can be read as any gender, no pronouns used) Genre: fluff Word Count: 1 626 Summary: after a a night of fighting demons, you and Tomioka find shelter
Sakura Festival Masterlist - Masterlist
Freezing cold rain dripped into your face, feeling like a thousand needles pricking your skin and blurring your vision. Your clothes were drenched, not just from the cold spring rain, but also sweat from the battle you had fought in the night. Now, through thick covers of rain heavy clouds, the sky began brightening, announcing the sunrise to not be long away.
"Over here!"
Your companion's voice carried over the drumming rain, and lifting your gaze, you found Tomioka heading straight to what looked like an abandoned shed. Well, less a shed than a roof held up by four wooden beams, but considering it was only raining and not storming, it should be enough for now. A sigh of relief brushed past your lips at the prospect of shelter, and quickly you hurried after the fellow demon slayer.
By the time you stepped underneath the roof, he had already thrown off his haori and crouched down beside an old fireplace in the middle of the area.
"The wood's dry," he mumbled, his voice filled with silent surprise. Indeed, the shelter seemed in surprisingly good shape. The roof wasn’t leaking and a stack of wood close to the fireplace seemed old but completely untouched by the weather.
Walking past the fireplace, you glanced out from underneath the roof at the other side. Before you opened a small garden, a stretch of grass, sprinkled with blooming cherry trees. Their blossoms seemed to glow in the twilight of the approaching morning, the rain glittering on their leaves like stars.
"What's wrong?" Tomioka had noticed you freezing at the edge of the small room, and alarmed, he quickly came up behind you, his hand already on the handle of his katana.
"It's beautiful," you breathed, momentarily even forgetting how cold you were.
Tomioka only hummed in agreement before turning back around, slightly annoyed to have been disturbed by such an unimportant thing as trees.
"Let's get a fire going," he mumbled instead, leaving you standing. You watched the rain tear at the petals another few moments before you pulled away from the sight and helped Tomioka with the fire.
It didn’t take you long to get the fire to a good size, not so big as that it would eat up unnecessarily big amounts of wood, but still big enough to warm you up and dry your haoris, which you had hung up on long sticks by the fire.
You had sat down a while ago, a safe distance away from Tomioka, your eyes fixed on the cherry trees in the rain, while you let your mind wander. It had not been the first time that you had been sent out on a mission with him, but somehow it felt as if your relationship was shifting with each time you met. It would have been a lie to claim you were not curious about the quiet Demon Slayer… although curious might be a strange word to use. Interested in him? Maybe… attracted even?
You shook your head slightly, watching as the pouring rain turned into a slight drizzle. It was foolish to think about him this way. Not only because he was a demon slayer and he faced death in the form of sharp demon teeth and long claws each night. Tomioka was one of the most skilled demon slayers you knew. You didn’t doubt he would survive for a long time. It was more because, well, because he was Tomioka. You had never met anyone else who was as quiet and grumpy as him. Holding conversations with him was hard since he hardly talked more than one or two sentences in one go. But the few times when he had, your conversations had stretched several hours, making you admire the young man even more than before. While his quietness caused other demon slayers to make fun of him and even mock him, you had been lucky to have gotten more insight into his character by now, understanding that inside he was angry and sad at and about the world. You wished you could help him, make him feel better somehow, but unless he let you in, which he hardly ever did, there was only so much you could do. And if he didn’t want to let you in, how was there ever to be a relationship other than that of work colleagues between you?
A tickling at the side of your face alarmed you to the fact that someone – Tomioka – was staring at you. Resisting the urge to turn to him, you kept your eyes focused on the trees. The clouds were still not finished with the downpour, although they had reduced it to a fine spray of morning rain, and a soft breeze had picked up, breaking them apart so the first beams of light could flicker through. It bounced off the rain drops on the pink petals of the cherry blossoms, looking like a thousand crystals glimmering in the light. You smiled at the sight, continuing to ignore Tomioka’s insistent staring. If each night fighting gruesome demons could end in a peaceful scenery like the one before you now… you certainly wouldn’t complain.
The fire flickered a little, and at your side Tomioka moved to grab his haori before he added more wood to the fire, making it lick up higher into the air as you continued watching the garden. The spray of rain continued, but the ground seemed to warm up, as soft white fog began lifting off the grass blades. It wasn’t hard to imagine a wood god, or a tree spirit to walk through the thin fog now, their paws glimmering with raindrops but still leaving no traces in the grass.
You startled as suddenly something touched your shoulder. Irritated you looked up to find Tomioka had grabbed your sleeve softly between his thumb and index finger. When your eyes met his ocean blue ones, he gently tucked at the fabric, making you furrow your brows. It was careful motion, as he tucked again, no force put into it, rather an invitation. Following it, you scooted a little closer to him, and closer again, when he kept tucking, until you were sitting side by side with him, close enough for your legs to touch.
Wordlessly he wrapped his haori first over your shoulders, then over his, the fabric barely big enough for both of you to fit. It had already dried next to the fire and only when you had sat for a few minutes, uncertain what to make of that sudden display of intimacy, you realized how cold you had gotten from the rain, and how nice the haori warmed you. But what was even warmer than the Haori, was Tomioka by your side. He felt almost like a living furnace as he sat still, almost stiffly by your side. You wanted to look over to him, wanted to see his expression, but something stopped you. Instead, you looked out over the garden again, trying to commit the sight of the beautiful blooming trees to your memory.
You were not sure when it had happened, but you startled when you felt your head lull to the side. Had you dozed off? Taking a deep breath, you were trying to sit up straight again, when suddenly Tomioka reached his hand up, gently guiding your head to rest against his shoulder, where you almost would have rested it before waking up again.
“You need to rest,” he whispered, his voice sounding deep and soothing from where it rumbled in his chest. “Sleep a little.”
You let him pull your head against his shoulder, feeling the stubborn hair of his tickle your face, which refused to be bound back by his hairband. Reaching up you brushed it aside enough to not be disturbed by it anymore before closing your eyes again. You had always struggled falling asleep in the company of other slayers, but something about Tomioka made it almost too easy to doze off. Maybe because you trusted him. You had almost fallen asleep again when a sudden thought stirred you back awake.
“Tomioka?”
He hummed to signal you that he was listening.
“Why are you doing this?”
He was quiet for a moment, hesitating to answer as if he were scared to get reprimanded, but then he said: “Because I’m not good with words. And I don’t know how else to show I care about you.”
Not opening your eyes, you furrowed your brows. “Why would you care about me?”
“’cause I like you. I hope that’s okay.”
His words didn’t fully process in your sleepy mind. Or maybe they did, they just didn’t trigger the same excited reaction they would have triggered had you been fully awake.
“Hm,” you hummed in response, “I like you too.”
And before Giyū could sort his thoughts out to answer to that sudden confession, your breaths were evening out and you had fallen asleep.
Giyū carefully turned his head, stealing a glance at your face and tucked his haori in place over your shoulders before he carefully rested his cheek against your hair. So you liked him too, huh? It felt like this was the first good news in a long time. It also meant you’d have to talk about this in more detail as soon as both of you were awake enough to do so. Maybe he’d finally find a way to convey his feelings to you then, like he had wanted to do for so long already. Giyū suppressed a yawn, and smiled to himself, taking a last glance at the cherry blossoms in the garden before he too closed his eyes and fell asleep to the feeling of you safely resting on his shoulder.

Modern! Tanjiro Kamado with a Street Racer Partner
a/n: I love Initial D and KNY so bad, ugh.

Tanjiro was your biggest supporter, and it showed in every way. No matter how late it was, no matter how far the race, Tanjiro was always there, cheering you on with a smile that could light up the darkest night.
Every time you had a race, Tanjiro would drag Inosuke and Zenitsu along with him.
"Why do we always have to come to these races?!" Zenitsu would wail, clutching his head as the sound of engines roared in the background.
"Shut up, Monitsu!" Inosuke would bark back. "Racing is awesome! She's gonna destroy all of them!"
Tanjiro would show up early, always making sure you had everything you needed. He’d check the car, help you get settled, and give you one of those warm, confident smiles that made your heart race even more than the thought of the competition.
Right before each race began, he'd never fail to give you a good luck kiss or two, as a charm to make sure you'd be safe.
People from the crowd would wolf-whistle and cheer, causing the two of you to blush. Tanjiro would quickly scramble to the guardrails, joining his friends and trying to hide his red face with the darkness from the trees.
When the race started, you could always hear his voice above everyone else's, shouting your name, telling you to keep going, to give it your all. He had this unwavering belief in you, and it pushed you to do your best every single time.
After every race, the adrenaline still pumping through your veins, you'd return to the top of the pass, only to be greeted by Tanjiro's bright smile and the sound of his footsteps running toward you. He’d be practically glowing with pride, his eyes wide with admiration.
“You did it!” Tanjiro would say, pulling you into a tight hug. “I knew you could do it! You were incredible out there.”
You’d smile back, your heart swelling at his praise. No matter how tough the race had been, knowing Tanjiro believed in you made it all worthwhile. Inosuke would stomp over next, probably yelling something about how he knew you’d win because you were as tough as him, while Zenitsu trailed behind, looking relieved that the race was over.
When the adrenaline had faded and it was just you and Tanjiro under the stars, were some of the most precious. He’d take your hand, his fingers warm and gentle against yours, and he’d smile that soft, earnest smile that always made your heart skip a beat.
You didn't understand how you got so lucky to have a partner like Tanjiro. Handsome, kind, and utterly supportive of your hobbies.
Normally, guys would be scared off by your skills. Many times, you'd be dumped over their fears of having a chick who can race better than they ever could. You wondered if you should just quit racing altogether, maybe then you'd secure a longtime relationship.
That all changed when you met Tanjiro.
He was different from anyone you’d ever known. While others saw your passion for racing as intimidating or too much to handle, Tanjiro saw it as something beautiful, something that made you shine even brighter in his eyes. He wasn’t scared off by your skills—if anything, he was inspired by them.
You’d never forget the first time he watched you drive with your all. The way his eyes lit up as he watched you take the wheel, the admiration and pride written all over his face. He wasn’t just impressed by your talent; he was in awe of your determination, your drive, the way you never gave up even when the competition was fierce.
After that first race, he came up to you, his smile as bright as the moon above. “You’re amazing,” he’d said, and you could tell he meant every word. “I’ve never seen anything like it. You’re so strong, so talented—I’m really lucky to know you.”
You’d laughed, a little embarrassed by his praise, but his sincerity was undeniable.
And from that moment on, he never missed a race. No matter how late, no matter how far, Tanjiro was always there, cheering you on, believing in you when others doubted.
Under those stars, with his hand in yours, you felt an overwhelming sense of peace and gratitude. You had found someone who loved you, not despite your passion but because of it. Someone who saw your strength and was proud of it.
“You make me feel like I can do anything,” you whispered, looking up at him.
Tanjiro squeezed your hand, his eyes full of warmth. “That’s because you can,” he said softly. “And I’ll always be here, right by your side, cheering you on.”
In that moment, you knew you didn’t have to give up racing—or any part of yourself—to find love. With Tanjiro, you had everything you needed.

Souvenirs
Notes: sort of a continuation of flustered, set in the same universe exploring Giyuu and reader’s idiots to lovers (when?) relationship <3
prev - next
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
You were returning back to the headquarters after completing your mission that took two weeks, with your partner, Takuma walking beside you.
You were usually quicker with your missions but the demon you were supposed to hunt turned out to not be one but three of them working together and evading you both for quite some time.
Nevertheless, you were relentless with your pursuit and luckily had Takuma with you, who you had worked with on several occasions and could always count on to have your back. It was strange as you weren’t really friends before this per se but this mission had definitely changed that and you found yourself laughing along with him, heart light and unburdened, looking forward to seeing everyone.
You had souvenirs to give after all!
(And getting your leg looked at properly but that was not important.)
And thus, you merrily made your way to the Butterfly estate, hoping to see Aoi and the girls and maybe Shinobu and Kanao as well if they were not on a mission.
(The small voice in your head, coming from the traitorous part of your heart, wondered who else might be there. If you might be lucky enough to bump into each other.)
Takuma had been hesitant tagging along but promises of good meal and rest won him over easily.
“Hello everyone, I come bearing gifts!” Was the first thing you said as soon as you entered the estate, seeing Aoi and the girls working hard.
They squealed (not Aoi, of course) and made their way to you, asking about your mission and if you were injured anywhere.
“Ah, my leg is a little banged up but nothing too serious — ” your words were cut off by someone placing their hand on your shoulder. Turning around, you came face to face with a smiling Shinobu but you could tell it wasn’t one of fondness.
You laughed nervously as the girls sighed and Shinobu’s grip on your shoulder tightened.
“Inside.”
“Oh, you flirt! Let me rest for a bit first.” You grinned as Takuma facepalmed at your words and the Hashira’s smile widened.
“Seems like you truly are healthy, to be making comments like that.” She lightly kicked the back of your leg and you flinched, losing your balance as your bad leg bent from the force. Kneeling on the ground, you looked up at her, lips pouted in resignation and her smile turned into a smirk, one so subtle that anyone would have missed it.
About half an hour later, after the both of you were examined and treated for your respective injuries, you and Takuma were sitting outside in the garden, surrounded by the girls and Shinobu, giving one last long look, left you to your devices.
“Now that that’s done and over with.” You smiled at the giggles let out by the girls, “It’s time for souvenirs!”
“Looks like you had plenty of free time, if you bought souvenirs for everyone while on the mission,” Aoi said with a disapproving tone but even she had been looking intently at what you were fiddling with in your bag.
You presented them all with bracelets containing a single glass bead braided into it. You chose different colors for all of them and were explaining to them why you got them which, when you were distracted by a figure entering the estate.
That mismatched haori and blank expression had you stumbling over your words and the girls followed your gaze to look at Tomioka Giyuu making his way to the main entrance.
It seemed as if he did not notice you yet.
“Tomiaka-san! What brings you here today?” Aoi’s voice interrupted your thoughts and Giyuu stopped when he noticed you all huddled together.
Tilting his head, he looked at something in his hand before making his way towards your group.
Your cheeks were heating up and god, you missed his pretty face these few weeks that you were away.
“Hello.”
Everyone returned his greetings and you noticed him glancing at the bracelets everyone was holding. It seemed like the girls noticed it too because they excitedly began telling the unbothered Giyuu about the souvenirs you brought them.
Takuma was a front row spectator to all the chaos and your sudden shyness and the wheels in his head began turning. He looked at the stoic Hashira whose blue eyes were flitting between the girls and the bag on the ground.
You, on the other hand, were strangely quiet, eyes never once moving from Giyuu’s face, a small content smile on your lips.
Takuma felt like stirring shit.
He called your name in an exaggerated manner, everyone turning to look at him before pointing at the bag.
“Didn’t you get something for Tomioka-san as well?”
Your eyes widened as you gaped at his audacity to put you on the spot. And he didn’t even know you had a crush on the guy! Were you that obvious?
You looked at Giyuu, to see him already looking at you, his expression betraying nothing but there was a spark of curiosity in his eyes.
“I–well–“ you floundered for words when everyone’s eyes were on you. Maybe Giyuu saw how nervous you were or maybe he took pity on you but he held up his hand, which held a circular container.
“I was here to get my salve replenished, so if you would excuse—“
“No, wait!”
You did bring something for him dammit! But you were hoping to give it to him in a nice, private setting and not in front of a crowd! You weren’t really left a choice though, were you?
Sending a glare in Takuma’s direction, you got up and gingerly held the gift you had picked out for him. Gesturing for him to hold out his hands, you stepped a little closer to him and felt your body shiver in anticipation.
God, you were never this shy in front of him but the eyes boring into your back made you conscious about every little thing that you did.
You put the gift in his outstretched hand and several necks stretched to see what it was. At Giyuu’s slow blink at his palm, you felt as if you should say something.
“I uh, have only ever seen you wearing one so I thought that it might come into use.”
Giyuu brushed his fingers against the braided cord, the color as blue as the ocean, intertwined with a few lighter threads, ending with a nice knot.
No, not like the ocean, he thought. Almost like his–
“And well, you’re the Water Hashira so the blue was…” You really weren’t fooling anyone with your pathetic explanation. It was a clear match with his eyes and his hold on it tightened, touched that you bothered to match the color of a hair tie cord with his eyes, that you took the effort to see him.
“Thank you.” He whispered your name with such softness that you were afraid that the wind will take it away from you, just brushing against your ears. “I will cherish it.”
“You don’t have to do that, just wear it for me sometime?”
Although he didn’t say anything more, you saw the way his eyelashes trembled, saw how he looked at the gift and tried to meet your eyes but failing. You saw the slight reddening of his ears and almost smiled and teased him in victory before your peaceful daydream was shattered by girly giggles.
Oh god, you completely forgot about them.
Immediately, you noticed the way Giyuu straightened up, expression once again neutral but the careful hold on his gift never loosened.
He pocketed it, making sure to keep it safe before meeting your eyes.
You gave him a gentle smile, a thousand words said in that one expression and then promptly turned to scold the girls and Takuma for prying into your business.
He hid his trembling hands by gripping the salve container tightly. You just kept surprising him at every turn. From teasing him to showing him such kindness and attention, he never knew what to expect from you.
A call of his name had him turning to look at Shinobu walking towards them.
“You must be here for your refill. Go on in and one of the healers will do that for you.”
She turned to you and raised an eyebrow.
“Very pretty gifts you’ve gotten everyone. I’m glad you had enough for everyone.”
“No, wait! I have one for you—“
— bonus!
Giyuu had his hair down and was staring at the hair tie you got him.
There was no rational reason that he was doing this, he had a perfectly fine hair tie that had served him all this time. For all intents and purposes, he didn’t need one.
Then why were his hands automatically grasping his hair and tying them with the blue cord, the color more visible against his black hair than his previous one.
He didn’t have a mirror in his room so he had no way of knowing how it looked but the warmth in his chest spreading all over his body, reaching his fingertips and cheeks let him know it suited him all the same.

Funny moments as sanemi's wife
Warnings: not proofread, cursing and more. Fem!reader, proceed at your own risk. Sexual reference
Your daughter was sitting on your lap while sanemi was sitting next to you. The other hashiras conversing, a high pitched voice suddenly interrupted the conversation " mommy, what's a hooker ?" Everybody froze, your five year old looked up at you curiously. You looked at your husband with a forced smile. He side-eyed you "what ?" Your eye twitched "you're not safe when we're getting home" he looked at you "as if you could hurt me-" "don't play with fire shinaguzawa"
'shit' sanemi said in his head, if you calling him sanemi is bad then shinaguzawa....
He swore to never provoke you ever again.
--------------------------------------------------
You felt a palm on your butt, your head made a slow turn towards your husband who gave it a slap. You blinked slowly at him, you didn't even have the ghost of a smile on your face. You flipped him off and walked away.
--------------------------------------------------
You started coughing a little "my throat is sore.." you in said a quiet voice. Sanemi glanced at you "sucked my dick too much last night ?" Your mouth was slightly agape, while some other hashira were looking (muichiro isn't here) the ghost of a smirk was quick to disappear from your face. "Weren't you moaning like a bitch last night ?" The conversation ended and sanemi was grumpy at you the rest of the day. "Get a taste of your own medicine" you said rolling your eyes playfully.

Prologue - "𝕎𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕀"
"True that I saw her hair like the branch of a tree A willow dancing on air before covering me" ☆.𓋼𓍊 𓆏 𓍊𓋼𓍊.☆ Word Count: 1.5k Chapter Warnings: Blood, swearing Note(s) at the bottom! <Next: Chapter 1>
It was a rare sunny day in the little town of Sitka. While the heat barely reached 65 degrees, it was still hot enough for the residents to feel sweat accumulating amongst their skin. The seagulls were circling above, screeching with annoyance at the lack of fish surfacing. Boats heading in to unload and others heading out to set gear and bring back what they can get. Sitka was a small town with a population of a little more than 8,000. Sadly, it was tourist season so all of downtown was crowded with out-of-state people looking for souvenirs to bring back. Since everyone was busy, that meant most trails(besides Totem Park) were more open.
Y/N was busy putting together her hiking pack for her trip up Thimbleberry. She wanted to make it up to Heart Lake for lunch and rest for a bit before coming back down for the day. The essentials she usually has on her were:
Phone, battery pack with charging cables, headphones, water bottle with more ice than water, protein bars, bug spray, bear spray and whistle, a speaker, a pocket knife, a first aid kit, and a change of clothes.
This time, since she was going to be gone for longer than normal, she had also added her iPad with the stylus, a lunch box that had more than just the protein bars, one more set of clothes, an extra pair of shoes, a hoodie and a blanket big enough to sit on.
She made sure to tie a rain coat around her waist in case it decides to rain(it usually does 360 out of 365 days a year). While the weather app on her phone did say it was going to be cloudy with sun all day, rain has a tendency to show up when unwanted. She sprayed herself with the can of bug spray to avoid any pesky mosquitos from biting her, making sure her hair was out of the way.
Her outfit for today was a thick strapped tank top and sports bra, thermal leggings underneath cargo pants, thick socks, and chunky hiking boots. She double checked her pack, making sure her pocket knife was in a pocket on her pants, and that her water bottle and the bear spray were easily accessible. Her bluetooth speaker was hooked onto her backpack and fully charged.
She huffed as she picked up the pack and lugged it out her front door. She made sure her cat was fed and had plenty of water before she took off for her day trip.
"I'll see you later, stinker." Petting the feline, shestepped out and locked the door to her house.
The house itself, while not that amazing outwardly, meant everything to Y/N. It's been standing from the early 1800's and passed down throughout generations in her family. Making sure the knob couldn't turn, Y/N picked up her gear and headed towards the Jeep Wrangler sitting in the gravel driveway. She unlocked the vehicle, stuffing the pack into the passengers seat, and closing the door.
The drive to Thimbleberry was bit long for a town that only had 14 miles of road from one end to the other. The scenery passed by in a blur of green and blue, the trees swaying and the ocean waves crashing against the shore. The concrete structures of whales in Whale Park were being climbed upon by kids and finally the lot for Thimbleberry was seen. Two other cars were parked closest to the entrance which Y/N paid no mind to.
Walking around the front of her car to grab her pack, Y/N unpocketed her phone to connect it to her speaker. Usually playing something loud was enough to scare off any of the bears who decides to wander too close to the trails. Putting on her 'Classic Rock' playlist, she grabbed her pack and hoisted it up on her shoulders, making sure to tighten the straps.
The walk through Thimbleberry was scenic and relaxing. Y/N stopped a few times to take pictures of whatever she found interesting and what she'll probably draw later. She picked a handful of salmonberries to munch on as well. Finally, Heart Lake was in her sights. It was a huge lake surrounded by evergreen trees. The water was clear and you could see the bottom full of colored rocks. A wooden dock was built out a few feet from shore and a two person boat with oars was tied to a pole on the dock.
Y/N walked a bit more till she found a small grassy area near the lake shore. A giant spruce tree was at the edge of the small grass area and that is where she shucked off her pack and crouched down. Unclipping her blanket, she rolled it out to sit on.
"Maybe I can nap for a bit before heading out..." She mumbled to herself. She kept an arm looped through one of her pack's straps and settled against the thick trunk of the tree. The speaker was blasting out the song 'Highway to Hell' as she fell into a deep sleep.
The feeling of falling was what abruptly woke Y/N up. Her brain didn't seem to register the fact that she was free falling through the air until she tried to sit up. A scream tore through her throat as wind whipped by. Her arms immediately clutched the closest thing to her, her hiking pack. Closing her eyes, she hoped this would be a quick and easy death. Unfortunately for her, she didn't die. Her back was cut up by the smaller branches of the trees she is currently crashing through.
Her spine made contact with a thick branch and she could feel the wind get knocked from her lungs. Letting the hiking pack go, she curled up and landed roughly on the forest floor.
Breathing was difficult, but she pushed herself up to sit. She looked around to see if she could identify where she was, assuming she was still in her small town in Alaska.
It was dark. Looking up, she could see the full moon glaring back down. The stars were a lot clearer and twinkling against the dark blanket of the sky. The forest she was in was quiet. Actually, it was suspiciously quiet for someone who grew up surrounded by the woods.
Reaching for her pack, Y/N dragged it closer towards her and opened it. She grabbed the green kit full of medical supplies, opening it, and grabbing the bundle of bandages. She could feel the blood from the cuts on her back drying against the tank top that was surely shredded to pieces.
Taking off the piece of clothing was a chore itself. Her arms and torso were screaming in pain as she slid the torn up fabric off of her. She wrapped the bandages around her as best she could, stuffing the tank top into her pack for extra bandages in case.
Armed with only her pocket knife and gear, Y/N got up. Grunts of pain escaped her chapped lips and she could taste metal in her mouth, whether that was from blood or her tongue piercing, she did not know.
The song 'Paradise City' was now playing through her speaker. She almost forgot that she was supposed to be at Heart Lake. No sign of water nearby and no critters making noise was heard.
Y/N huffed, dragging her feet through the broken branches on the ground. Her brows furrowed as she listened intently for any kind of noise. The lack of forest fauna was concerning to her. There wasn't even any buzzing from mosquitos. Walking further into the dark woods, a faint screaming could be heard.
That was definitely human. Y/N picked up the pace, gripping her pocket knife tightly in one hand and the other was holding onto the strap of her pack.
The yelling intensified as she got closer. A spark of hope burst into her chest and now she was running. Closer and closer she finally broke through the trees into a clearing where a boy with burgundy hair was on the ground covered in wounds and a child, no older than 12, was glaring at the boy.
"What the fuck."
The two turned towards the foreign voice. Y/N stared back as she took in the scene. That's when she noticed the appearance of the 12(?) year old boy who was definitely not human. Everything about him screamed supernatural. Looking closer, she could see something printed in his eye.
"Sorry to interrupt but, do you two know where the fuck I am?"
The two slow blinked and, faster than Y/N could see, the white haired boy shot his arm out at her. She could feel something wrap around her. Her body was now hanging upside down with the blood rushing to her head.
"Your fight is with me! Leave her out of this!" The burgundy boy lunged at the kid, katana drawn and ready to hack the kid's head off in one swipe. Y/N almost passed out from shock. What language was that? And katana's?! Why is he attacking that kid?!
Wait...
Squinting her eyes, she took in the faces of the two.
Well, shit. She fell into Demon Slayer.

🏮- Oh dear, poor you. Dealing with an upper moon? How unfortunate.
🏮- Akaza's obsession started when he saw you taking a lonely night walk near your house. He wasn't out to kill anyone, he originally intended to just enjoy the moons light and the gentle nighttime breeze. Then he saw you.
🏮- He saw your figure and got interested, he started watching you out of curiosity. He knew that most humans wouldn't take a random walk at night, people weren't stupid, they knew demons existed. So it was an uncommon sight.
🏮- Before long, he felt a deep longing for a connection he has never experienced before. He knew he had a past love, but nobody had struct him as hard as you did. Seeing your beautiful hair seemed to always be shining in the moonlight, the way your eyes stood out, something about you hoping first sight made the upper moon fall hard.
🏮- His desire for closeness and attachment leads him down a dark path.
🏮- Despite his twisted feelings, Akaza maintains a facade of respect and courtesy towards you. He believes that treating you with kindness will make you reciprocate his affections.
🏮- His nightly watches soon became small talk between the two of you, which soon became conversations, eventually the two of you befriended each other. You weren't scared of him, and he wasn't going to harm you.
🏮- The two of you took regular walk, and you found out more about each other. Akaza always remembered these conversations, especially with little details.
🏮- One night you talk about your favorite flowers, the next morning you have them at your door step. One night you mention your favorite food? It's in your kitchen that morning, freshly made. Have a book you've been eyeing recently at a shop? You have it now. All because of him
🏮-This friendship comes at a cost however, Akaza becomes possessive and jealous, unable to bear the thought of anyone else having even the slightest influence on you. Only he should be able to see that gorgeous smile, or hear that beautiful laugh!
🏮- This possessiveness may manifest in subtle ways, such as monitoring your activities or keeping tabs on your relationships.
🏮- He struggles with his internal conflict between his violent tendencies and his desire to keep you safe. His actions might range from intense outbursts of rage to tender moments of care and protection. But he'd never show that side to you.
He waited so patiently every night to see you, what was taking so long?
The moonlight bathed the quiet courtyard, casting eerie shadows upon the stone walls. Akaza's eyes scanned around in the dark, waiting for you. Searching like a hunter finding it's prey, except there was no malicious intentions with him. He simply wanted to go on his nightly walk with you once more, it was a habit he squeezed into his schedule after god knows how long. He had a plead and beg for Muzan to allow a bit of free time for him to enjoy with you. Normally if you didn't feel good or an emergency happened he wouldn't be upset about missing such a small activity, if anything he'd still find you and watch over you. But tonight nothing changed, except your presence was absent.
He waited patiently for you in the dark, he was slowly getting more and more upset. Were you skipping out on the walk? He didn't know, until his eyes fixated upon you, his object of obsession, as you went about your evening routine. He saw your figure with a few others walking down the same path the two of you take every night.
Your gentle laughter echoed through the night air as you conversed with a group of friends. Akaza's heart skipped a beat, a twinge of jealousy piercing his chest. How dare they bask in your light, sharing the joy that should be his alone? He felt his nails digging into his palms as he watched, seeing that you went out with friends. Normally he'd know about such an event and wouldn't care too much, but it was clearly last minute.
As the night deepened, the group dispersed, leaving you alone in the tranquil courtyard. Akaza seized the opportunity, emerging from the shadows with a smile carefully painted across his face. His voice, though soft and gentle, carried a subtle undercurrent of possession.
"Ah, my dearest," he murmured, stepping forward, his eyes ablaze with fervent adoration. "How fortunate I am to witness your radiance under the moon's embrace."
You turned to face him, surprise flickering across your features. The unfamiliar intensity in his gaze momentarily gave you pause, but you dismissed it as a trick of the moonlight. "Akaza, you startled me," you said, offering a small smile.
"Forgive me, my love," he replied, his voice tinged with a blend of remorse and delight. "I couldn't resist the urge to be near you, to inhale the sweet fragrance of your existence." Akaza's words dripped with an unnerving possessiveness, yet his demeanor remained oddly respectful. He stepped closer, his presence enveloping you, suffocating yet comforting. A predatory glimmer danced in his eyes, his obsession transparent. He then gently, yet tightly grabbed your wrist, pulling you into his chest.
"Your laughter, your every breath—it belongs to me," he whispered, his voice dripping with longing and madness. "No one else can understand your worth, your essence, as deeply as I do."
As the fear trickled down your spine, you took a step back, a cautious glimmer in your eyes. "Akaza, you're scaring me," you spoke softly, attempting to reason with the man who stood before you, his desire veering dangerously into obsession.
A twisted smile curved Akaza's lips as he raised a hand, his fingers gently caressing your cheek. "Oh, my dear, do not fear. I am merely taking what rightfully belongs to me," he declared, his voice laced with a chilling conviction. Before you could react, a sudden surge of strength coursed through his body, his hand swiftly closing around your wrist. Panic flooded your senses as you realized you were unable to break free from his grasp, his supernatural strength overpowering your every attempt.
As you struggled, your heart pounded against your ribcage, the realization of your predicament sinking in. Akaza, the one you once considered a friend, had crossed the threshold of obsession, becoming a captor of your very being. With a smooth, calculated motion, Akaza pulled you closer, his grip unyielding. "My love, I cannot bear the thought of you being apart from me any longer."
A twisted, feverish gleam filled Akaza's eyes as he whispered, his voice a chilling mix of possessiveness and delusion. "In my arms, you shall remain forever, my precious treasure. No one else shall have you. No one else deserves you."
Terror surged through your veins as you realized the depth of Akaza's obsession, his determination to keep you confined to his twisted world. You fought against his hold, desperate for freedom, but his grip only tightened, his fingers digging into your skin. With a sharp, predatory grin, Akaza hoisted you over his shoulder effortlessly, your struggles rendered futile against his supernatural strength. He carried you away, his steps quick and purposeful, leaving the moonlit courtyard and venturing into the depths of the night.
Your voice trembled as you pleaded with him, your words laced with desperation. "Akaza, please... Let me go. This isn't love. This is captivity."
Akaza's laughter echoed through the empty streets, a chilling melody that sent shivers down your spine. "Love, my dearest, is a fickle thing. It can be gentle, yes, but it can also be possessive and consuming. I am consumed by my love for you, and I shall protect you from the world that seeks to take you away."
As he carried you further into the shadows, your heart sank. You were trapped, at the mercy of a demon's warped affection. The world outside grew distant, and the future appeared bleak. In the depths of Akaza's twisted love, you could only hope for a sliver of light to guide you back to freedom.
