I like that the wording of this isn't" they died" or even "they all passed out" it's "they got tired and/or depressed."

What exactly happened to the original Phyrexians when Yawgmoth was defeated? I've been seeing people complain about how all the Phyrexians across the multiverse went dormant after Norn was defeated, but I thought that's already been established as what happened during the first invasion when Yawgmoth was defeated. You defeat the commander and the Phyrexians collapse. Am I misremembering?

Yawgmoth was a narcissist, much like Norn was in the end. When the giant death cloud died, basically all the Phyrexians (save a few) gave up and became lethargic.
