Dr. Light saw through Darkman’s disguise easily, but how did his other kids fare?

Rock encountered Blues first. Blues, while willing to believe that his little brother was being impersonated, is pretty cautious. So, he gave Rock an ultimatum: prove you are who you say you are, or get out! But then Rock revealed why he came in the first place: he found out about a trap that Darkman had set, and needed to find Roll immediately. (Granted, it took slightly longer than shown to get Blues to send him to her. He first told him that if Rock was secretly his doppelgänger and was lying to him that he’d “carve out his circuits and waterboard them”, but Rock told him to try calling Roll first…)

Half as an answer to an old question by @ninjastar107, here’s later in the game. They said: #Man thinking about how the game goes... poor Roll taking a hit. Well- maybe. Actually I wouldnt be surprised if she recognized #The right handedness and dodged out of the way at the last moment and that’s half right. Roll was the first person to voice her doubt that Darkman was Rock, and clung to that assertion throughout the course of the story. What no one really counted on was Darkman not being like Copy Robot - he has Robot Master AI, letting him learn, make decisions all on his own, and, most importantly in this context, change.

And so, in one last petty action, he made a final attempt to trick just one member of the Light family. While he didn’t fully manage to trick Roll - she was picking up on worry, which she didn’t get by reading Darkman’s expression - he got her to let her guard down just enough to blast her.

Unlucky for him, while he was doing this, Rock was finally getting a teleport signal through.
