  “Wait what was uncalled for Crow I wasn’t paying attention to what was happening. Did Yusei do something?” Dark asks, an eyebrow raised as he was genuinely confused as to why crow would say that.

 “Hey now there’s nothing wrong with that, sometimes things change but it’s how we adapt to it that determines how things go. I think Dark has been planning something for you for a while now why don’t you go see what he has to show you?” He may not be able to get crow’s mind off of things but maybe Dark could right now.

Number of Cards in a Deck: 25 (excluding extra deck cards such as fusions, synchros, and xyz ; depending on the Yugioh series personally I’m not a huge fan of Yugioh after GX but I know enough about 5D’s and Zexal from playing Duel Links on my phone)

Twins Kimberly and Kole grew up playing the game of Duel Monsters for fun. Their parents purchased them each a deck of their own from their local game shop, and from the moment they began to learn how to play the game it became a staple in their young lives. Little did they know just how significant this card game for children would really become.

The years passed on from their humble beginnings in Duel Monsters, their skills improving and the both of them adapting to a similar type specialty, the twins went on to become local champions in a tag team tournament and held that title for three years straight before surrendering their reign to move on and up in the ranks. From here, their paths diverge, with Kole setting out on his dream of the best damn duelist that ever lived and Kim just wanting to have fun playing this little card game her dear mother introduced her to; sure, she’d compete in tournaments and do her very best to try and win, but she would also be content coming in 4th place rather than 1st (unlike her brother).

Secrets in the Past 

Both of their parents were also Duelists, their father more professionally than their mother. Nicolas Mason became tangled up in ‘bad business’ with a group of people who knew more of the darker secrets of the so called ‘simple game’; he quickly made himself an enemy of these people (whether intentionally or not, it happened anyway) and was found himself a dangerous and terrible position; he was forced to accept a duel with one of the group’s members and should he lose, there was an impossible decision that he had to make - choose which of his beloved family members would lose their souls to the SHADOW REALM, his wife or both of his children. In the end, Nicolas’ skills were no match against his opponent, and thus came face to face with the dreaded choice. But he couldn’t do it - how could he? To choose between the love of his life and the precious gems that they made with their love? He had to refuse - but if that happened, he was warned, then his ENTIRE family would be dragged into the darkness, leaving him the only survivor - alone. He couldn’t choose...he just couldn’t decide....

So his wife did for him. 

Fiona Mason was reported as a missing person when the twins were ten years old, her disappearance suspicious and a ruling of foul play was made by the police. Their number one suspect wasn’t difficult to find either. Nicolas Mason was charged for the disappearance and possible murder of his wife, and though there was little evidence to support this accusation, the father was sent to prison anyway, leaving his young children to be raised by their maternal uncle and aunt instead. 

If not for their mother’s memory in which they keep alive with their dueling, the twins - especially Kim - would have probably given up on the game of Duel Monsters. But they carried on, with both of them having a monster card they tribute to their mother’s memory: Kole’s being Magician of Faith (the only non-warrior & non-Earth card in his deck, also his mother’s favorite card) and Kim’s being Queen’s Knight.

It really did help that blister was so good with what he does, being able to make fake documents for both himself and Dark to be able to start over all the way back to yugi muto’s time. With the arc cradle crisis over and everyone going their own ways in life Yusei and Dark had a serious talk about their own future. Both of them agreed that it would be better for them to leave all of this behind them and start fresh, settle down to have a new life somewhere else. Of course this also meant that they wouldn’t be able to come back here again, this was a one-way trip so it was going to hurt for a while for the pair but when it was brought up to the rest of the group they were all supportive of them starting over.  After having one last get together before going their sperate ways, Yusei and dark had their things gathered up that they would need onto a new motorcycle that Jack and Crow worked together to make. Yusei could easily make one for Dark when they got set up there so it would be fine for now, having given Stardust to Akiza so that she could remember him and giving the remaining deck to crow. Yusei and dark had jack hold onto Yusei’s d-wheel for now and when Leo was old enough then it would go to him, royal blue eyes watching as everyone had given dark a hug and making the other promise to watch out for yusei in their place. After the final farewell the two got onto the motorcycle and took off towards their own future, Hearing the familiar cry of the crimson dragon and seeing the red glow come from Yusei’s arm for the final time with soft smiles on their faces. Now they were set up in the past with a decent apartment to themselves with a small shop they set up right next door to their home. Yusei had taken the garage for his mechanics and computer work while Dark took the rest for his woodworking and art work, the violet eyed man becoming very good at his work. Now they were out gathering more supplies to finish getting stocked up for their respective shops, Yusei not having much he needed since he kept on top of his inventory so he had a few bags while they were heading for the nearest art store for Dark’s supplies.

  “Oh hey there Atem didn’t expect to see you over here how’s things been for you and yugi?” Dark was wearing simple black tank top and dark blue sweatpants while exercising, having an athletic build to his body and  was also wanting to keep up with his strength. Just because things may be easier for him and Yusei now didn’t mean he wasn’t going to keep himself fit to throw hands if he needed to do so.

step back  usually, you're able to bottle up your emotions and ignore the frustrations. but, after weeks of shoving everything down, your body needs a release, and i pity the poor person who managed to piss you off. it's screaming crying, shouting, kicking lockers, whatever you can do to get it out of your system. it's a whole jean grey moment, fire and fury blasting out of you. Why in the worlds did heartless had to travel so much, traveling through the worlds did have its perks. Seeing new things and meeting new people, the apprentice would be roaming around as he heard fighting, and as he drew closer he saw two people fighting off heartless. A rather large group of them, the pack he was after for this area. The pack being almost twenty shadows and a few large bodies. “Hey! Get out of here i got them!” Nyx would run up as the teen summoned his keyblade waning crescent, when he got closer the heartless would start moving their attention to Nyx and his keyblade. Even though Nyx looked younger than them he would still fight with no fear. His keyblade cutting down the heartless while he summoned two of his eleanimals. A lion and tiger made of ice to help protect the other two from harms way. Not caring that he was breaking so much world order as to him, others safety came first as he was taught. -Nyx to Yusei and Dark

When yusei and dark had seen these heartless coming around the first thing Yusei thought of was getting his duel runner so he could run them down with it or use it as a means of escape when things got too much for them to handle. Dark on the other hand was confused when the heartless didn’t seem to be attacking him, In fact the ones watching him seemed to follow him like ducklings with their mother. Was it because he had darkness before and that’s why they were not attacking him? Maybe it was because of said darkness that they possibly saw him as a bigger one of them and were looking at him for orders? Do these little heartless things even take orders? Soon he had the idea to just walk away from yusei to lead the heartless that seemed to be attached to him now away so that this stranger that had shown up could take care of them with minimum injuries.

“Wait you... dont like cats?” Dark asked with an almost sad look on his face as his own kitten he had found recently let out a small mew, taking to calling the kitten ‘little haou’

“probably the first time that time travel could be explained with the power of science for you. me i’m sticking with magic cause i didn’t have a machine and some things just can’t be logical plus it makes life more interesting.”  “as for trying the dueling on a d-wheel then you’re more then welcome too, yusei can probably make you one easy. mean the guy made two d-wheels just out spare parts from junkyards so his mechanic skills aren’t anything to scoff at.” he was sure that kaiba had a lot of questions and they would be answered soon, seeing the garage come into view as he heard the question of why it wasnt easy for him to make the best of his second chance. “it would be easier for you to see why then to explain that one. hey yusei i’m back and i brought seto kaiba with me. it’s another time travel thing for you to figure out.”

“huh? oh hey Dark and hello there seto. guess all i can say is welcome to the future and i’‘ll answer any questions you may have.” getting up from his current project to properly greet kaiba. Yusei was almost a carbon copy of Dark only he had a golden marker on his face and his eyes had the normal white sclera with royal blue eyes.

"I'll do anything to get them back" his brothers words haunting his mind as Seto tried to stop him, failing as a flash of light blinded the CEO. Next he was spinning, like galaxies were swirling around him. In a blink it was over. Yelling as he came crashing down into the floor.

Landing flat on his back, winding the bearded man. Blinking blue eyes open to see a figure, unsure who it was. What happened? Blurred vision still as he started to fully come around. Scanning the area as he started to realize something was different.

"Where?" Panting as he runs his face. Trying to sit up but his body would not respond yet. Accepting this he lays there trying to think. Wait..This wasn't the lab.. where was everyone?

"Mochs?" Mumbling out as his vision started to clear.

Jumps onto Dark's back, giving him a bug ole hug cause Crow diesnt like a sad Dark. "What's bugging ya bud?" Just hanging out on the others back watching over the shoulder what the guy is doing. @blackbirdduelist

Dark had almost jumped out of his skin when he felt someone hugging him from behind, feeling his cheeks turn a light pink color from embarrassment. “oh hey crow. i-it’s nothing you need to worry about i’m just getting some things set up to try my hand at painting while i wait for new carving tools to come for my whittling.”  not wanting to worry the redhead over something like this. @blackbirdduelist

“Or and hear me out on this Yu we just get yusei and the 3 of us beat jack into the dirt until he lessens his prickish tendencies and take away the tea cause that man don’t even pay for a thing!” Dark comments while whittling and sending glances towards jack.

At the comment of having friends that cared Dark let out a loud laugh like it was the funniest joke that he had heard ever. “mai i dont have many friends if any at all other then yusei. mean the whole reason i’ve moved here and starting a new life is because of the things that happen between us. you’ll get it when you see him come tomorrow, said he was coming in the morning.” “nah my name Dark comes from something else but i ain’t going to dump my life story on ya unless you want hear me go on about how my eyes got like this. coming back to what i said about staying over wasn’t an offer it was more of a demand. like you dont have to if you really dont want to but i am insisting on it because that guy may circle around again to cause problems if he sees you on your own again and it’s almost midnight so dont think it’s smart to try to get back to your place alone.”

Seriously, this sort of thing was getting old fast. Maybe it was time to move and get a career change. She should have been home by now, however taking multiple wring turns purposely to lose this creep had failed. He should know by know she was onto him.

God how she wished she carried her duel disk still, it would be fairly handy right now. Even if it weren't to duel it still was a decent weapon. Mai had not realized how far she walked, now in an unfamiliar area. Turning to face him and deal with whatever was to come. One thing was sure, the blonde would not go down without a fight. Throwing her purse to the ground "go on take what you want, I assure you'll be disappointed." No cash this time, she had the last two days off and paid all her bills so nothing work robbing.

Instead it looked like a fight was at hand, clearly this person had other ideas for her.

“YES!! get the freeloader!!” Dark cheered, getting up to his feet and grabbed some wooden balls he had carved for another project to start throwing at jack.

“Don’t know what i walked into but if were teaching jack a lesson then i’m on board. Come here you fucking man-baby!”

“depends on how the arm is broke. is everything still inside or is it sticking out? Something get yanked out of place kind of need a little more details here Yu.” Dark comments with a raised eyebrow, he wasn’t even going to ask if Yu fucked himself up or did it to someone else.
