My first two thoughts after seeing Wicked - I can't wait to watch it again and I totally would've sat through Part 2 as well.

This man, my god! That dismount from the horse? I need to see it again immediately to appreciate it the way it deserves. Dancing Through Life? Makes me giddy. The way everyone is jumping on board the Jonny Bailey train? I'm so glad we're here. Everyone in this film was perfectly cast, the musical numbers are outstanding, and I absolutely adore Cynthia's Elphaba. Defying Gravity was truly incredible. Not to mention the cameos in One Short Day!!! I cried, I laughed, I positively swooned. It was everything I wished it would be and more 💚🩷💙

And now the long wait to November 2025....

P.S. 'get stuffed' made me laugh out loud. Love all the easter eggs. And the Kanthony parallels!

Really excited for this moment in Wicked Part 1 for obvious reasons, but also because I'm curious as to why Elphaba is crying. In the original show (and seemingly this movie because the line about it is still there), Elphaba is supposed to be putting on a front that the teasing doesn't hurt her, so if she’s crying and Galinda wipes her tears away, which didn't happen in the original show, it must be for a different reason other than the bullying, since the mask wouldn't slip. Is it because Galinda dances with her despite the potential blow to her status? Which is essentially the first time anyone’s shown her genuine kindness.
