You can find the Danakil desert and Dallol salt flats at the Afar Triangle, Ethiopia next to the Eritrean border. It is quite a journey to get there but an amazing experience. Make sure to climb the active Erta Ale vulcano to watch a breathtaking sunrise over the desert.

I’m in love with #ethiopia from #addisababa to #lalibela to #aksum to #gheralta and to #Harar The mountains, churches, #ethiopianfood and the nature had arrested me. But the beautiful #ethiopianpeople made my trip worthwhile. They extended their beauty, humor, and contentment to us. On this trip, I have learned to be brave.
