Personality & Morals
Are they…(bold which term applies to the character):
introvert / extrovert / ambivert risk-taker / cautious organized / disorganized close-minded / open-minded calm / anxious / restless disagreeable / agreeable / in-between (He tries to be fairly laid back but he has his moments of Grumpy Old Man Syndrome) patient / impatient outspoken / reserved leader / follower / flexible empathetic / un-empathetic optimistic / pessimistic / realistic traditional / modern / in-between hard-working / lazy
Moral alignment: Neutral, sometimes leans towards neutral good
Guilty Pleasure(s): Likes to “talk” to his deceased Warband members as if they’re still alive. He knows it’s silly and will only do it when nobody else is around.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths/Skills (Mental/Physical): He’s real, real good at tactics and fighting, especially from afar. He’s gotten in a lot of practice, after all. He’s also fairly calm and level-headed. Very hard to faze.
Weaknesses (Mental/Physical): Old. His eyesight’s not the best, his joints are old, doesn’t have as much energy as he used to.
Biggest Advantage: Patience
Biggest Vulnerability: Lack of energy
Mental Ailments: Mild PTSD/survivor’s guilt, but he mostly manages it.
Physical Ailments: Failing eyesight (needs glasses), failing hearing, arthritis.

Relationships
Status: Single, has been single his whole life. Has mildly given up on finding anyone.
Family: All deceased, save for one sister who he writes to regularly.
Friends: Mostly deceased
Enemies: Plenty, probably. He’s too old to care about any of them anymore, though. Except for the Flame Legion. He kills them on sight.
Other notable relationships (If any): TBD
Backstory
Childhood: Fairly typical, for a Charr.
Adolescence: Also fairly typical. He doesn’t remember much of it, to be quite honest.
Young Adulthood: Once in the Stone Warband, he quickly became practically family with the entire warband. They were unstoppable, one of the best in the Iron Legion.
Adulthood: The Stone Warband was eventually sent to fight the Brand, where they were stationed for the next few decades. One by one, each of the other members died, in combat or by succumbing to illness or the Brand itself. Eventually, Damok was the only one left standing. He returned to the Black Citadel, where he was given a choice; he could retire, or he could re-form the Stone Warband and start from scratch as its leader. He chose retirement, on the grounds that he’d like to see the rest of Tyria with his last few years.
Present Day: Damok currently is on one long, extended camping/road trip across Tyria, determined to see every last corner of it before he dies. His biggest regret in the Warband was being stationed in one place for too long and not getting to experience more with his Warband. He still writes back to his Tribune about his travels, if he happens to find any information that he thinks the Iron Legion could use.

38 Damok
Soak
Steam curled around the old Charr, rising and swirling up from the water he was partially submerged in. He let out a soft, happy chuff as he leaned back, sprawling his arms out along the pool’s rim. As he closed his eyes, he felt a rumbling purr starting up in his chest.
Damok had traveled to many places across Tyria; through desolate wastelands and harsh jungles and unforgiving tundra, and as much as he enjoyed the challenge and thrill in each of those hostile lands… he had to say, this was definitely a candidate for one of his favorite places he’d visited. It was a simple hot springs nestled in the Shiverpeak mountains, run by probably the friendliest Norn couple he’d ever met. They’d offered him a soak, saying it was a great way to unwind after a long day of traveling. He hadn’t quite known what they meant, but he’d accepted anyways. What was the point of traveling Tyria if he didn’t also try new things?
And this… oh, this was practically magical. His old joints, which were almost always plagued with a low level of stiffness and pain, practically melted in the steaming water. He felt at least a decade younger.
“You know, Stonescale, you really would’ve loved this,” he said softly, words barely intelligible through the rumbling purrs. It was an old habit of his, to talk to the old members of his Warband as if they were still present. He knew they weren’t, of course, and he’d long since done his mourning for them, but… at this point, he felt as if he carried them with him wherever he went. Their memory still lived through him, if one believed in such things. Damok wasn’t sure whether or not he believed, but either way, talking to them felt…. good, somehow.
He inhaled deeply, the steam warming even his lungs, then sank just a little deeper down in the water, until it was brushing against his chin fur.
….. Drying off was going to be a pain in the tail.

@Jozzik: “You’re beautiful.” “You’re too impulsive, it’s reckless.” @damok: “You look tired.” “You’re hiding a painful burden.” “You’re strong. Stronger than you’ll ever know.”
Jozzik: “How else are you going to get anything done? You can’t let something as simple as a little risk get in the way.”

1 fact about everyone, maybe about the weapons they like?
Each character already has their usual weapons listed on their refs, but I’ll go a bit more into detail here about that! and also give a minor update on Jozzik’s preferred weapons lol.
Tix: Favors dual-wielding a knife and an axe, though she will occasionally switch the knife out for a focus, or switch it all out for a Greatsword. She doesn’t tend to actually buy into the Reaper archetype much, but she does like swinging around a big sword sometimes. Her weapon aesthetic tends to be black/white/silver, with various curving edges and simple yet elegant designs. Sort of like weapons that echo wrought iron designs.
Damok: When he’s working alone he tends to favor the shotgun (he’s an excellent marksman even with his failing eyesight), but when he’s working with others he’ll switch to sword/shield combo to draw fire to himself. He leans towards rustic/old/simple weapon designs.
Amatia: As a Pit Fighter, she’s opted to stick to purely unarmed fights. As such, she prefers to fight weaponless. When forced to use a weapon, she’ll basically use whatever’s available; she’s not picky and is a major opportunist. She’ll use improvised weapons just as readily as actual ones, if needed. Of course, she’d much rather just headbutt her opponents.
Darijja: Absolutely loves dual-wielding swords. She’ll switch to a shotgun if ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY (aka when she truly needs to keep some distance between her and her opponent) but otherwise she’ll stick doggedly to her swords. Much to her chagrin, her time in Elona has required her to resort to the shotgun almost exclusively. Those darn blinding effects. Her weapon aesthetic varies widely; she loves symbolic looking weapons (like her rose sword) but she also loves both human- and asura-designed weapons.
Jozzik: True to his self-given title of Magician, Jozzik sticks to either a staff or a scepter+torch/focus combo. The staff is used more for when he wants to do more damage to a wider array of opponents, whereas the scepter combo is his go-to choice for when he’s wanting to cause maximum chaos. His weapon aesthetic is… fairly obvious, really. Anything pretty/sparkly/pink. Though, notably, his scepter is…. a princess wand.
Abimuirne: Hammers. She won’t use anything else. This is entirely due to her time in the Mists; she uses hammers as an homage to Jalis, whom she is endlessly attached and loyal to. Doesn’t have a concrete aesthetic yet.
Heavenbat: Greatswords!! For a while he dabbled in hammers, but in the end settled on greatswords. Basically he just likes big weapons. If necessary he will resort to a longbow as a dragonslayer, but he’ll switch back to greatsword as soon as possible.

13. What do they do when they're off-duty? - To the 3 Charr!
Tix: Off-duty for Tix means basically when she’s not researching something for the Priory, which is… admittedly often. She mostly likes to explore little-traveled areas, making maps of them and practicing her necromancy, becoming a better and more efficient fighter. She also likes to get into so much trouble. Kind of just going out and causing a scene wherever she goes, and making friends, and partying, and basically just never really slowing down.
It was the same story back when she was in a Warband, though back then she didn’t have quite as much freedom, and as a result her troublemaking often took a more…. harmful turn. Like breaking and entering, stealing, destruction of property, etc. Which would in turn get her in more trouble and get her put under much stricter terms. It was a vicious cycle really.
for a more productive off-duty activity, she does really like tailoring. She’s made all of the clothes she wears and has custom-made clothes for friends in the past. For her, she sees it less as a fashion thing and more like just a simple craft type thing; she tends to go for function and form over style.
Damok: He’s always off-duty nowadays, thanks to being retired. He likes to sightsee, especially going for vistas and points of interest, meeting people and sharing stories along the way. And playing with kids. Before his retirement, he liked to go help out in fahrars on his off days, along with going to various beast training kennels to help out with the animals. (help out as in play with them and give them treats and love)((he was absolutely ecstatic when he got his mounts. GIVE THEM ALL THE LOVE))
Heavenbat: He, too, is basically always off-duty now because of him leaving the Pact. He kind of tends to do whatever he feels like, which includes wandering around helping people, derping around with friends, and treasure hunting. Admittedly I’m not quite as sure about how to answer this one because he’s largely a sona XDD
#Heavenbat#Tix#Tix Thundersong#Damok Stoneblood#Charr#GW2#guild wars 2#character answers#thanks for the ask!#I need to have a Charr that's actually in a warband#but that'd probably require making the warband too#and that's too much work

HAVE I MENTIONED I LIKE CHARR
Name: Damok Stoneblood
Class: Warrior
Sexuality: Demisexual (has never found the right person yet, has mildly given up on trying)
Traits: T i r e d. He’s been through a lot, lost a lot of people, and just wants to settle down and wander around on his own time. Is very caring and very playful; when he’s around kids, he likes to play the “rawr I’m a big scary monster OH NO YOU GOT ME I AM DEFEATED” game with kids. Also likes to let kids ride on him lol. He’s retired, so most of the time he can’t be assed to put up with big war things, but he’s still perfectly fine with helping out average people with average problems. Has a bad habit of giving people Life Advice (tm) even when not necessarily wanted :P Also, he loves to hunt and fish.
Backstory: Damok was part of the original Stone Warband, back before Rytlock was even old enough to be in a Warband. Unfortunately, after a long campaign of success, eventually the Warband were slain one by one, until only Damok was left. He was given the option to re-start the warband, with new recruits, or to retire. He chose retirement, and thus the Stone warband was remade anew without him.
Problem was, he lasted about a week of retirement before getting bored as hell.
He now wanders around Tyria, having decided that since he spent the majority of his life in Charr territory that it’s high time he see the rest of the world. Along his travels, he’s made many friends, babysat many kids, and adopted several pets. His goal now is to see everything that Tyria has to offer, and to experience as much as possible.
(I really wish I could combine the glasses with the outfit because him having the grandpa glasses is perfect, just imagine him wearing them all the time)
#Guild Wars 2#GW2#Guild Wars#GW#Charr#Damok Stoneblood#character refs#his horns are broken through four separate accidents#when the last one broke he was actually like OH THANK GOD#THAT WAS BUGGING ME FOR SO LONG at least they're symmetrical now

Do your Charrs..... Purr?
ABSOLUTELY. Tix’s purr is sort of soft and subtle, the kind where you really only hear it on the exhale, and she mostly purrs only when she’s super relaxed, like half asleep, or when she’s being kind of smug. She sometimes also purrs when training her minions but she’d never admit it :P
Damok’s purr is a lot more rough and unsteady, kind of fades in and out. He purrs when he’s filled with any positive emotion, like when he’s proud of a kid he’s been trying to teach. He also purr-laughs.
Heavenbat purrs all the damn time, and it’s a deep, steady rumble that you can feel all the way in his chest. He’ll purr at the sight of his friends, at good food, at pretty sights, at warm Sun on his fur, at a gentle breeze through his mane… you get the picture lol.
