Business Signature is like . There was love there, it didn’t change a damn thing and it hardly even mattered . A suffocated little thing that died on one’s tongue or the second it left one’s mouth. But it was there . Dalilah did think about Kronos, though she would never realize it . And why would she ? He was the same as every other man she’s ever conned, useless the second she left them and inane far before that. But on quiet nights when she sips the brand of wine that Kronos always bought, that ended up being the best she’d ever tasted, she thinks about him thinking of her . It’s a point of pride to know he’s still in love with her . Some days she wonders when it is he’ll break and call her up, drunk and miserable . She doesn’t realize that she’s hoping for it to happen .

Or alternatively, since though I like Narcissus in concept, Dalilah Narcissus is a bit of a mouthful, maybe something like “Putorius”? The species name for ferret and translating to stinky thief which I think she would hate <3

STILL confused as to Dalilah’s motivations for having Corvus . Why did she do that

Hhhhhh business signature . Dalilah is a liar to the core of her being . She’s never told much more than a half truth since the moment she turned twenty and never planned to tell more than that for the rest of her life . Even so, all good lies have at least a little bit of truth to it . And it was true that her mother was probably proud of her, though she doubted it was for the reasons she told Kronos, and she doubted she cared, and she doubted her mother ended up in any place other than hell, not that she placed much faith in Christianity .

But slowly, over time, the lies get more and more truth in them . And one day, child on the way and engagement ring on her finger, she wonders how confidently she can say that Kronos still knows nothing of her .

She wasn’t scared of it . It’s just that… He knew more than enough to be in love, so her work was done . She needed to tell him no more . And if on occasion, when he calls her up too wasted to remember anything she says come tomorrow morning, she spills a few, insignificant, little tidbits about herself? Well…. It’s not like Kronos will know .

Business Signature comic sketch

Okay, little explanation of my thoughts for it time! Basically since Dalilah’s skill is to control small animals, I found it a little ironic that animals aren’t actually the thing she has the most control over, seeing as that would be lovesick fools like Kronos .

The first panel was just inspiration from an artwork of M/kima from the Ch/insaw Man series . I think her having chains leading to her arms would be a fun nod to what happened, it’s also why I tried not to have both her hands in frame unless alluding to something that she’s harmed/manipulated .

The second frame and the fourth frame are just different perspectives of Dalilah cradling a small animal because k thought it would be fun .

The third frame is portraits of some random man she manipulated and then tortured because . Again, thought it would be fun . I tried to make the man deliberately similar to Kronos to bring home the point that he really isn’t any different from any other man Dalilah has had relations with in the past . I was also planning on putting a drawing of Lilith in one of the frames but . I forgor .

The fifth and sixth panels aren’t necessarily something I put too much thought into, just Dalilah whispering to Kronos like an evil advisor <3

And the final panel is kind of in reference to a drawing of Shimmer and Letalis, in which it’s shown how they care and trust eachother, but with a few key details changed . Kronos is looking directly at Dalilah, and is the one clutching onto her, showing that he’s really the only one who truthfully cares about their arrangement in a meaningful way . Dalilah on the other hand isn’t holding Kronos up like Letalis did with Shimmer . Furthermore, she’s facing the audience instead of Kronos to signify her lack of care for him . Yeagh 👍 .

It makes sense that Dalilah’s favorite ferret is Judas . After all, you’ll kiss her before she betrays you as well .

Hhhhhh rereading my old Business Signature posts and becoming insane about them all over again . How long was Dalilah planning to leave Kronos at the altar? Was it even really a surprise when it happened? Couldn’t have been, surely after so long together he would’ve learned to read her better than that. But maybe, maybe he never even tried . Would she be hurt to realize that?

considering dalilah tried to hit on oulixes and failed before meeting Kronos it’s entirely fair to assume she started working with a new corporation and immediately tried to hit on people in order of who she could find with the most power and money. fascinating addition we can draw from this . She probably met Hannah first and that just failed so miserably. So miserably. my personal theory is that Hannah was like . sorry im not interested because i know you’re trying to scam me and also im taken and also im not even entirely sure you actually like women. but oulixes might fall for it! good luck!
