"Oh wow... I never really cared 'bout being beautiful or well liked... but when you say all those nice things- thanks... I'll keep my head up high then." Daejin bashfully rubbed the back of her head. Only Lizaveta ever said such nice things to her.

"Hah! Wish I could be like that. Thank you for the nice words as well... I'll keep it in mind." Normally Pollie would have gotten a little too egotistical from the compliments getting to her head, but the sincerity and kind sentiment behind those words had her tongue tied.

"Well you get into a few too many fights... you don't have time to worry about being pretty yeah? Not when your face is all marked up!" The scar on Daejin's face reminded Pollie of a certain hothead.

"Oi! Don't say that! There's plenty of people with messed up faces that are still pretty! There's always time to worry about those things!" Pollie gave a playful gentle punch to Daejin's shoulder, as if they'd known each other for ages. Daejin slightly flinched, but laughed at the action in agreeance.

"Yeah yeah... I do like being called those things... especially strong-! Although... I'm not the brightest I don't think..."

"Eh? Me neither, but who gives a shit! If you're loved, you're loved."

"Liza loves me all the same... even when I'm stupid. Especially because I'm stupid. Huh you're really smart actually."

"You are too! Just stop telling yourself otherwise alright? It's bringing me down too eugh. Look let me show you how it's done." Pollie cleared her throat for what's to come.

"'I'm so BEAUTIFUL! And everyones loooooves me, especially Kay... I'm so smart I have to be stupid to limit it! Even God kneels before my fists!' Like that!" Daejin giggled behind a fist, clearly amused at the overexaggerated self-assurance.

"The only thing I'm sure about is I'm strong... don't care too much about bein' beautiful, but maybe just a little worried I'm too stupid... I'll try that then. Hm, how about this? 'That crazy bitch in the harbor is me! I rule this damn place and I ain't letting anyone even try to stop me!'"

"Hm, yeah something like that!"

BTS RM Tour In Ilsan

1. Squirrel Town Mukjip

This restaurant is famous for its acorn dishes that apparently squirrels also love. This one wall tells us that many celebrities including RM have visited the restaurant and enjoyed their time here. 

2. Oma Elementary School 

As the name O (meaning five) and ma (meaning horse) indicates, you’ll see horses at the gate. Also, it is said that RM started gaining interest in hip hop when he was in 6th grade of elementary. 

3. Shinil Middle School 

We all know RM was quite the intelligent student and is regarded as one of the smartest idols. In middle school, his TOEIC score was a whooping 850 and his grade were in the top 1%. 

4. Ilsan Daejin High School 

We all heard that RM studied hard in high school but also held onto his dream of becoming a musician and an artist. He was an underground rapper whom he was attending this high school and he caught the attention of rapper who connected him to Big Hit. 

5. Ilsan Lake Park 

Ilsan Lake Park quite large in size, is considered a landmark in the city. Locals enjoy the walking course by the lake for exercise and it is also the place Jimin visited aside from RM who lived nearby. You’ll find lyrics dedicated to the place in RM’s part of “Ma City”. We can tell from the lyrics that the place is very special to RM. We also found the place where Jimin visited with Ha Sung Woon.

Jirisan Episode 1 Recap: Who is the mystery signaler?

Episode 1 of Jirisan begins at the Baekdudaegan Ecological Education Museum where a slideshow of images and videos from Mount Jiri play along with the story.

We fast forward to 2018 at Jirisan National Park Haedong Ranger Station where rookie ranger, Kang Hyunjo, arrives to find the place alert in the beginning of a search and rescue mission. He’s immediately instructed to shadow senior ranger, Jung Guyeong.

They’re looking for 14-year-old hiker, Yeom Seunghun, who has been missing for 23 hours. The head of the station, Jo Daejin, declares that the golden time to find Seunghun is 30 hours. This isn’t helped by the incoming typhoon.

The typhoon was too strong so the rest of the team head back to the Ranger Station. They were able to find a backpack and informed the grandmother that they have to stop the search and will resume once the typhoon disappears. Top ranger Yi Kang decided not to follow instructions and went out with the typhoon to look for the boy, later on Hyunjo follows.

If they don't rescue the boy now they'll end up being regretful. Yi Kang warns Hyun Jo that it's dangerous but he already knows that as soon as he signed up for the job anyways. Yi Kang also tells him that as a pair both should be careful & to return in one piece too.

The grandmother updates the Haedong team with a text message that was recently sent to her. They realize that he's still alive somewhere. Yikang and Hyunjo are their only hope for the boy to make it when they rescue him. Thankfully the mission ended up a success.

Post rescue mission, the pair continues to train then they head back to the place where they found Seunghun. There, a cultural researcher, Kim Sol, photographs the area from Hyunjo’s vision. Hyunjo and Sol agree that the mountain has an energy that can’t be explained & that the mountain has saved the boy. Hyunjo cites the fact that Seunghun’s texts sent from within a cellular dead zone.

Sol explains that the rock arrangement was a type of code used by the partisans to communicate their location when they fell behind or whenever they can’t use radio and cellphones on unregistered trails. It’s a perfect idea as a signal whenever a hiker gets lost. Hyunjo decides that he and Yi-gang should use the method during their missions.

Yikang is more interested how Hyunjo knew Seunghun’s location. Hyunjo tells her he saw it and that it wasn’t his first time he’d had visions of lost hikers from Mount Jiri. Yikang doesnt believe him and calls him crazy.

A flashback on Haedong Station in the year 2020 where Daejin is closing the Yiseokjae missing person case. Dawon asks what will happen to the missing hiker and none responded. They also found out that the new member is Yikang and they all seem to not like her being transferred. She arrived using a wheelchair. This is why until present time they seem to not like her being there, as something must’ve happened. She then reads a new missing file case that happens to be near the Yiseok Falls, there’s no witness to the case. Daejin asks why she’s back and she doesn’t answer. She then replies with a question if the search team covered Gaeam Falls. Daejin then sends Guyeong and the Dawon to the falls. With the heat surrounding Yikang, Out in the field, Dawon questions Guyeong about Yikang and he reveals that she was stranded with someone else after going up the mountain during a heavy snow. Dawon figured that someone went missing too and asked why. When they both reach the falls, they were able to discover the skeletal remains of the missing hiker.

The discovery places suspicion on Yikang with what happened & Yikang brings up a website of a mountain’s volunteer fire dept which shows pictures of the search. The same rock and sticks found from Seunghun’s location is the same arrangement that was shown. She continues to bring up more photos from the other searches stating a theory that they can find missing hikers based on rock arrangements. With this theory, Yikang believes someone is helping her but Dawon suggest that its obviously Hyunjo but she believes that its not him. There’s a flashback at the hospital when we see Hyunjo in a coma back in December 2019. She wanted to find out who and that is why she returned.

Thoughts:

I assume that Hyunjo is not real. The introductory of Mount Jiri's story is already a foreshadow on Yikang & Hyunjo's partnership.

Having finished Hyde and Seek like 3 days after release here are some of my thoughts. There's gonna be some stuff implied so read with caution, i wont say outright but ill talk abt the implications. Sorry most of this is Alan rambling I have brainworms and I'm ill.

-Alan is literally my malewife. Love at first sight, if Noah is my little meanwhore Alan is my malewife. I love their big boobs.

-Pollie>Sally. My heart dropped when Alan tried to ask Sally out like out of all people, Sally? Good news though hes single by the end.

-Pollie is literally that one tumblr post where its like let women be pathetic little meow meows too. She is the definition of a pathetic meow meow and i love her for that.

Hey Alan, Alan, how old were you when this happened. IF YOU WERE LIKE 15 AND IF SHE WAS LIKE YOUR BABYSITTER IM CONCERNED. Its between this and a joke MazM made that his siblings were his secret lovechildren, thing is Alan is 21, his siblings are 7, that is a really dark implication. You can't just say that Alan.

-Yasssss Pollie and Kate are girlfriends, they we're LITERALLY ROOMMATES. OH MY GAH.

-After reading Sallie backstory I feel sorry for her, she can join the Kate polycule.

-M I H I R. mihir. Just mihir. I called him a DILF and my friend was like "hes 25" 👁👄👁. The stress and his monocle made him look older.

-He represents my culture very well! A little fun fact, the sun pin he has is a religious symbol, ironic considering hes a criminal. My friend said its the equivalent of a mafioso boss wearing a cross.

-The fact that he used to write poems but his dad called them shit. The true asian experience, having your parents disapprove of your hobbies.

-I actually love the subvertion of stereotypes and tropes here. I have personally never heard of this stereotype till yesterday but there's one abt Irish people where they are redheaded lazy drunks. Then there's Alan who's such a hard worker and a good boy and and and ehwbhsgrnehehsneghsha. The stereotype that Indians are either stupid or h word. Mihir is none of those things, he's eloquent with his words, witty, and very respectful. The trope of cute dainty maids gets subverted by Pollie and Kate.

-The Kate and Pollie duality. Now I'll be talking abt tropes here but do not take it as my opinion on gender expression, I'm just using things MazM has done b4 + popular media.

Pollie constantly calling herself a lady and dressing in fem clothes, bonus points for the blue. Although she would technically be the more masculine one because she loves to fight and gamble. Her face is also somewhat masculine, similar to Daejin Park in MazM Pechka!

Kate crossdressing and having to live as man would technically make her the more masculine one. But she's also the most feminine one with her soft face and for some reason media associates education with feminine? Idfk brawling is seen as more masc. But mazm rated these hands E for everyone.

-In Alan's introductory tweet he is stated to be a good fighter that holds back. In game the explaination for that is he doesn't want to get injured. I would've thought this was a set up to fighting Alan at one point. I'm a little dissapointed it didnt go that way qwq.

-That scene where Alan starts taking the drugs to stay active and assaults a customer was kinda terrifying. Well it's the scene after they mention that. But his angy face when he talks abt how much hes had to endure for his family, how he sometimes wished they were dead. Only for him to recoil in shock because that wasn't Alan. Hits me in my feelies.

-Mihir says trans rights, he asked his father to address Kate like a man bc she was living as one and he called it stupid. Mihir actually respects her though wjhejehehnehenejej.

-Alan if you keep complaining about my pants I'll shove you in a maid dress. Then youll realize how nice it is not to be constrained by gener.

-If you can't tell from my blog banner, I love older brother characters. The fucking angst but also hehe cute older brother type that cares heehoo im trash.
