ok so my two cents on what I'd like to see/my theories for Além do Guarda-Roupa (My Magic Closet/A Través del Espejo) season 2 in case it happens:
First of all, Carol explains the whole Fever Kiss Mistake asap and Kyung believes her (after the ending I don't think it would make sense for him not to). She wanted to fix that mess before they closed the portal and with her progress after they did I don't think she'd chicken out this time around.
Chul and Dieguinho’s relationship!! Dieguinho’s father grumpily learning to accept his son and Chul being a part of it as his boyfriend!! His father being hard on Chul at first until he sees how strong, fit and agile he is and ending up bonding over sports and how much they care about Dieguinho!!
Mok and Nayara being the absolutely amazing team they have proven to be before and just being the absolute MVPs in their job of helping the rest of the team in whatever the hell they do.
Onto more Plot Heavy things: Everyone gets an Emergency Meeting so Luisa doesn't sell tickets to Carol's room to pay for her mother's treatment. This could lead to an ultimatum to get her the money or else she's doing whatever it takes to save her mother. Here they could do parallel plans:
seeing how the guys can't simply send the money to Carol or Luisa directly without getting A LOT of eyes on them, maybe Mok and Chul work with Nayara to rally the fans somehow (make the cafeteria an event point for something without the band having to break the k-pop history of not going to Brazil? Idk enough about k-pop to know what could be believable, tbh).
Carol goes find her father to ask for the famed money. The way they wrapped up that storyline in the ending felt complete to me, seeing how she could let go of the guilt about what happened to her mother after her own father wrote to her that it wasn't her fault, nor the accident nor him leaving, and it could be closure enough for her. Still, they left the door open for her to go find him if she wanted or needed to, which could be a great way for her to reconnect with her South Korean heritage, visit Seoul and spending time with Kyung as her guide. Seeing that journey could also open the wound Kyung carries from his childhood about his mother abandoning him and start to heal it, although I don't feel that's necessary, even if it could be interesting. Plus, both Carol and Kyung being lovey-dovey around Seoul could stir some drama the same way sightings of ACT in Brazil did in S1.
Carol uses the money she wins on the competition, which should be for her to be able to dance without a worry in the world, but we know that’s not how this kind of stories usually go. She could get in a lot of trouble if she gave that money to Luisa, so either she gives her the money and has to make it back before the wrong people notice, but at least her aunt gets more time, or it’s a last resort plan that they save in case of it being necessary. Not very sure how this could thing could go because I don’t know anything about ballet or its world aside from it looking pretty, but I feel Carol’s dream when it comes to ballet mixing with the harsh reality paralleling the idols' carrer struggles could be very interesting. (Maybe the group “hires” her as a collaboration with the ballet institution that did the competition and ImpACTades? Idk!).
The Whole Dae Ho Thing. There's a lot to unpack there, because if the show had a villain at all (aside from the company that created ACT and their manager), Aunt Rebeca was it for most of the time, seeing how she was the Evil Stepmother in this Cinderella story, even if at times it felt like Dae Ho could toe the line if he wanted to, but firmly staying a "white swan". Still, by the end of the last episode one could argue that he did end up crossing that line, stealing Kyung's credit and following every single agency order, even if apparently he felt bad about it.
The same way Carol's arc in S1 followed themes of letting go and accepting and embracing herself fully through her friends, Dae Ho doesn't have that through the season at all. It's almost the contrary, almost accepting himself as a tool to others and losing himself in the process, so S2 could explore how broken and barely holding on he is and how he needs to break down the pieces to rebuild himself better and more loyal to himself and those he loves in a harsh, injust world.
Honestly, there's A LOT that could be said about Dae Ho and his development through the season and what it could mean for him going forward, but because the group has to stay together and working successfully in order for them not to get evicted and losing the portal, they have to resolve it internally and quietly (their manager is probably gonna make things incredibly more difficult). Therefore, I expect and lot of Mok and Chul hijinks to cover up whatever's going on.
Kyung doesn't care about being the leader or about recognition (his credit is his tho, even if he doesn't care as much as he would have once), but Dae Ho lost his trust even after they both closed the portal together. I'm very, very interested in seeing how they decide to explore their life-long friendship and their possible reconciliation.
I hope there's a conversation about how Chul and Mok weren't told about the closing of the portal, but I'm not holding my breath.
Ok! I honestly have a lot more thoughts that I initially believed, but I needed to get them out of my system!

I think the show has been doing a nice job building up to the fact that Bo-geol, Woo-hak, and Mok-ha are each going to have a part in bringing down the abusive dad. As a reporter, Woo-hak is going to go digging and exploring and find out/prove that someone tried to murder Han Dae-woong and that it was the abusive dad who did it. However, with the lake water receeding and the abusive dad's eventual arrest, it's going to come out that the the Kang family took on the identity of the missing family, which could obviously have negative consequences for all 4 of them. Mok-ha becoming a star is going to be so important because just think of how people would respond hearing the story of Mok-ha and Ki-ho. There would be a lot of public outcry around the mom and adoptive dad being punished for thinking of a way for a mom and her two sons escaping an abusive man. However, there wouldn't be that public support if Mok-ha didn't become famous, which didn't seem like it was going to happen until Bo-geol helped create the situation on his show for Mok-ha to be revealed to the world.
Because each of them have their part, I hope that Bo-geol tells both Woo-hak and Mok-ha what's going on that he met the abusive dad in person.

My favorite K-Drama characters: How old are they? - Part 1
- This list only has male characters, as I am mainly invested in m/m pairings.
- All ages follow the Korean age system.
- Anything with a question mark is one I could not confirm myself.
- Dramas on which I could not really find anything are not included.
- Sources: official/unofficial websites, drama screenshots, scriptbooks, items in Blu-ray sets, etc.

random thoughts about castaway diva, episode eleven
(read more because i always get carried away lol and this post might contain spoilers)
We're starting this episode with woo hak making me angry. Why are you contacting mok ha when the whole family agrees it's best to leave her out of the messy situation with mr jung? WHY???
... I take back what I just said. At least he's helping her with the press conference so I guess he's not that bad.
The whole press conference scene had me on the edge of my seat. So many conflicting feelings. Mok ha not following the script and trying to defend ran joo no matter what. Yoon ran joo just keeping her head down and accepting any accusation thrown her way. Eun mo rae seeming to side with mok ha and wanting ran joo to pursue her career so she feels better about being compared to ran joo (a desperate has-been singer who can no longer sing). All of that feels like a lot.
Talking about ran joo, it's frustrating to see her deny all of mok ha's wishes because it descredits the chunsam island singer. I understand she's trying to ease the tension but still, part of me feels like it's unfair to contradict mok ha like that. Because, in the end, mok ha will also be ridiculed for her statements.
I don't think it was a good idea for mok ha to participate in the press conference but I commend her will to defend those around her.
I'm glad the reporter let the truth out because now ran joo knows she was manipulated into signing the termination contract. I mean, she did it on her own will but had she known lee seo jun thinks of her that way, she might have thought twice before signing it. I wonder if there's a way she can nullify the contract? I feel for ran joo because she's been through a lot and there aren't many people on her side.
YES RAN JOO!!! Tell him how he would be nothing without you. He deserves it. He's trash, not you.
When I'm telling you I feel for ran joo, the fate of a tree metaphor is what I'm talking about. She's always given and hasn't taken a lot. People are taking her for granted. They milked her fame until the last drop and now she's treated like trash. I really wish there was a way to make her get her revenge. She doesn't deserve that treatment.
The scene between ran joo and her mom = saddest scene of the drama. I shed so many tears 😭😭😭 I'm relieved ran joo knows why her mom calls herself that and that they could talk to each other. This scene was beautiful 💖
MOK HA FINALLY CONFESSED HER FEELINGS TO KI HO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Dae woong (i think that's his name) woke up. I hope his story can make mr jung guilty of at least one thing (if he's innocent for the family case).
Lee uk is a good man. I keep repeating myself but I want everyone to know how amazing he is. He's ready to go to prison to defend the family. He's even saying if he could turn back time, he'd follow the mom sooner. I'm so happy the mother found someone so caring after spending years with mr jung.
I was so happy when the judge called mr jung following his family stalking.
I'm so happy the judge decided to believe the real victims instead of siding with mr jung. And dae woong could give evidence of the accident to the judge. Karma came and bit you in the a$$ mr jung!!! HAHAAHAHHHHAHAHAHA
Seo mok ha helping ran joo and her mom <3 She's one of the best people on earth. So kind and thoughtful.
YES! Ran joo wants to keep singing!!!
I'm relieved ran joo could read great articles about her to her mom. About a song that just got released (and not some old song).
So yoon ran joo sold 20 million albums a long time ago? Please make her magically appear during the shares meeting so everything is nullified 🙏🙏🙏
Justice was served for the family and yoon ran joo. I couldn't be any more grateful.
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? We got a happy ending for everyone finally and you have to ruin it with mr jung st*bbing lee uk? I can't believe it.
I'm giving this episode a 9/10
#i was so happy that everything fell back into place#and you're doing this to lee uk?#why would you hurt that man? He deserves everything#with only one episode left i don't have a lot of hope#random(al) thoughts#kdrama#castaway diva#oh and the story between ran joo and her mom made me cry so much :(((

Mr. Jung's behavior while speaking to Ki-ho's childhood friend / Dae-woong is distinctly Machiavellian; he seems to be making decisions with a strategic intent, scheming to ensure a future encounter with Ki-ho, leveraging his knowledge of Mok-ha's existence as a calculated bait to facilitate their reunion.
To me, it's interesting that the writers included that the father questions the new identity, so I'm open to learning what connections Mr. Jung has that could create an external threat, perhaps to Mok-ha, that we may see be the reason Ki-ho has been forced to cooperate.
#castaway diva#episode 3#the writers didn't create Ki-ho to be a lawyer and have power#so I'm wondering how we'll see this battle against his father#cooler box vs. drone#ki-ho's father

Republican Party Divides into Two Factions
By The Correspondent
On the 4th, Republican Party was unable to resolve the conflict between pro-Korean National Youth Association(KNYA) faction and anti-KNYA faction within a few days of its foundation, and eventually split. Because both factions were trying to maintain their sign "Republican Party" each other, as things stand, two Republican parties seem to exist. On the 4th, pro-KNYA faction released a statement in the name of chairmen. In response, as an anti-KNYA faction and one of the members of the supreme council, Chang Taek-sang issued a statement retorting this. Anti-KNYA faction within the party reportedly met on the night of the 3rd and decided to expel all of pro-KNYA faction, including Lee Beom-seok, one of the members of the supreme council.
Pro-Korean National Youth Association Faction
On the 4th, they issued a statement explaining the internal dispute in the name of delegates and chairmen of the party central committee. "At the press conferences, Chang Taek-sang insists that the 1st meeting of the party central committee is illegal and a one-sided meeting of one faction. But that meeting was held with about 270 members, more than half of the 442 members, and Lee Beom-seok was nominated with 198 votes as a result of voting for the vice presidential candidate." They also justified their last meeting and criticized their opposition faction. "The party central committee was legally convened when the highest resolution body of the party was delegated by the nation. On the other hand, the guys are ignoring the principle of the party organization by continuing to demand an additional 75 delegates, even though the agenda was rejected at the last meeting. And calling us "Collusion of pro-KNYA faction" is a harmful statement against the same political party."
At the time, there were five temporary chairmen: Yun Jae-wook, Shin Jung-mok, Chung Hyun-mo, Kim Dal-hyun, and Oh Sung-hwan. The common political view sees Mr. Oh as a pro-Chang Taek-sang and the other four chairmen as pro-KNYA faction. Mr. Oh said he did not know about this announcement of the statement, and Mr. Kim cannot reportedly any remarks because he is currently staying in his hometown.
Anti-Korean National Youth Association Faction
Anti-KNYA faction within Republican Party met at the downtown restaurant Donghaeru on the night of the last 3rd to write a statement pointing out the illegality of the convocation and resolution of the party central committee by pro-KNYA faction, while deciding to expel the party members including Lee Beom-seok.
In addition, Oh Sung-hwan, Kim Dae-jung, Son Chang-seop, and Yang Sang-geun, who led the meeting, stated that they had received approval and signatures from more than 240 delegates of the party on the agreement. Interestingly, their statement also has a phrase that praises the statement saying, "The Korean National Youth Association divides the nation," issued by President Rhee Syngman on September 29, 1953.

I was saying “Serves you right Dae Mok!” the whole scene. Dae Mok has been so selfish and hypocrite. He forgot for whom he was fighting for because he was so greedy for power and so in the end, he ended up killing his granddaughter and losing his child as well.

random thoughts about castaway diva, episode five (pt. 2)
(read more because i always get carried away lol and this post might contain spoilers)
I KNEW IT!!! There were four towels in the gift dae woong (ki ho's childhood friend) gave to mr jung (ki ho's father). He said there's one for each of us, meaning one for the dad, one for the mom, one for ki ho and the last for ki ho's sibling. So that means bo geol is ki ho and woo hak is ki ho's older brother. I'VE CONNECTED THE DOTS.
Agh! I'm so mad!!! i don't want president hwang to be swayed by lee seo jun's offer. Please refuse it so ran joo can become the majority shareholder of rnj.
I didn't expect the show to give us the whole backstory on ran joo's singing career. So, president hwang gave up his job and abandoned his family to make ran joo famous. And then she left him to go to lee seo jun's company. He must feel a lot of regret and I hope he didn't sign the contract lee seo jun offered him. I want to believe he still has a little bit of room in his heart to help ran joo.
The parallel between president hwang lashing out at ran joo and ran joo lashing out at mok ha is so clever. I hope ran joo learns from her mistakes and doesn't take mok ha for granted. Like president hwang said, "we tend to take it out on the kindest pushovers" and then the camera pans to mok ha. She's apologized to ran joo when she wasn't even in the wrong, she forgave her quickly, she's doing the most to help ran joo's album sale goal and yet it seems ran joo only hoped mok ha would magically hear her apology when she (ran joo) didn't say it out loud to her (mok ha).
Hilarious how both ran joo and mok ha forgot to talk about album sales with president hwang and bo geol being the one to remind them lmao
I like how president hwang saw right through seo jun. He knew as soon as he signed the contract, lee seo jun would discard him. Finally someone with a brain and using it against lee seo jun!!!
Nice parallel between the two brothers. Bo geol at the beginning of the episode affirming he doesn't know ki ho, but still letting mok ha know he must be doing okay. And woo hak at the end of the episode letting her know he saw ki ho and he's doing well. Each brother taking a different approach to it but still reassuring her ki ho is alive and okay.
So dae woong got into an accident after he tried dissuading mr jung to find ki ho.
Okay so here's my theory as to why woo hak keeps having these flashbacks. So, as I confirmed from the towels (and the mugs in mr jung's seoul house), there are four members in the family: mr jung, his now ex-wife, ki ho and his brother. Woo hak keeps having these flashbacks that happen in the seoul house, not in the chunsam island house. I think woo hak is ki ho's brother that mr jung manage to keep with him when ki ho escaped. Mr Jung is mad about it and takes it out on the other sibling aka woo hak. Woo hak's amnesia must have happened around that time when during one of his bursts of anger, Mr Jung hit woo hak on the head and it was so violent woo hak ended up having amnesia. I'm not sure about that but I wanted to share my thoughts with whoever's reading this.
Okay so the plot thickened a lot and I am not ready for what happens next hahaha laughing in pain emoji.
This episode has developed a lot of storylines and it made me excited more like fearful for what will happen next. It's a 9.75/10 for me
