Could we have day 2 what lurks in the dark with Miguel & Peter B? I’m so excited for this year’s event!
Power Outage
Author’s note: Yaaaas!!! I’m excited too! Mayday is making a cameo in the picture below, but I threw in a cameo with Lyla in the fic because it felt right Lol! I hope you enjoy Day 2 of Tickletober: What Lurks in the Dark (from Crow’s Tickletober 2023 list)!
Series: Across the Spider-Verse
Characters: Miguel O'Hara, Peter B. Parker, and Lyla
Word count: 868
Summary: Miguel’s office lights are out. That might not seem so bad at first, but something, or perhaps someone, tries to mess with him in the darkness.
—
Strange…Why is his office so dark? Usually the lights turn on as soon as he walks in. Miguel pulls up a floating screen from his watch and taps on the digital surface. ERROR comes up in red letters with a restrictive buzzer-like sound.
Great, the power must be out. Not a problem. He can override the system manually when he gets to the main system at his desk.
…If he can find his desk, that is.
Miguel grumbles out a sigh and scrolls to find another setting on his watch. He clicks the small screen on his wrist and a light beams from the device. Flashlight mode comes in handy in the most unlikely circumstances. Miguel twists his wrist so it faces outward and he begins the darkened trek to his desk.
Miguel’s not afraid of the dark, but something is making him feel…uneasy. Perhaps it’s the way the floor feels as if it’s creaking at his feet, or the cold metal walls reflecting the light back at him. Or perhaps it’s the unknown of what lurks in the dark…
No, that’s silly.
A few steps later, Miguel spots his desk with the light from his watch. He walks towards it as usual.
Woosh.
Miguel stops his approach. He turns his head around while the light from his wrist scans the room. What sounded, yet did not feel, like a windy breeze rushed behind him. Only the metal walls reflect the light back at him.
Miguel turns his head back towards the direction of his desk. He keeps moving as if the sound was a freak coincidence, but he’s smart enough to know that ‘coincidence’ can’t be the explanation. What would have caused that—
“Gahack!” Miguel echoes through the dark when he feels a sudden poke to his side. He stumbles forward and wraps his free hand around the spot, while his other wrist beams the flashlight against his surroundings. Nothing’s there.
Then another poke hits him, then another, alternating from one side to the other as if each poke was pushing him around, until the teasing pokes cease and he suddenly feels a clawing at the back of his ribs.
Miguel arches his back with a yelp from the tickly feeling. He clamps his jaw shut, fangs bared as they barricade the army of giggles wanting to slam down the door. He tries to shine the light behind him, but he’s unable to identify his attacker. What was going on?
“S-Show yourself!” Miguel attempts to threaten through a shaky snarl. He twists on his heels and swipes in front of him, but the concealed culprit swoops behind him and squeezes his sides. Miguel yelps again and whips around at another attempt at attacking, but the mysterious culprit bests him once more and takes the chance to dig into his belly from behind. Miguel squeaks and immediately bursts into deep laughter that could make the metal walls rumble. He flails like a startled cat clawing at the air and jumps backwards as if he was yanked in that direction by an invisible rope. The force of his jump is so sudden that Miguel ends up toppling backwards. He lands with a crash on something other than the floor.
In an instant, the lights of his office turn on like the stage lights of a theater. Lyla materializes in front of Miguel, yet she’s looking down at the floor instead of him. Her expression shows concern.
Miguel looks down in the same direction. The “thing” that he landed on? Well, it was none other than Peter B; it’s the ghost of the darkness in the flesh.
Peter takes the night vision goggles, that Lyla no doubt had given him, from his eyes and perches them on top of his head like sunglasses. Peter stares up at Miguel, smiling nervously. “H-Hey Miguel. How’s it going?”
Of course, it all makes sense now. Lyla was the one controlling the lights, while Peter did the “dirty” work to play this trick on him.
After piecing this together, Miguel snarls above Peter; he’ll deal with Lyla later. Right now, it’s Peter’s cue to run.
The spiderman below scrambles to escape his trapped state between Miguel and the floor. Miguel shifts his weight off of him, but the leader quickly grabs the other man’s leg and yanks Peter towards him.
Peter claws at the floor before flipping onto his back. “M-Miguel!” Peter puts his hands in front of him to surrender, “Let’s talk about this!” Peter then darts his head in the direction of the AI, “Lyla! Say something!”
The AI shrugs, then smiles. “You’re on your own, Peter.” She swiftly dematerializes in a flash.
“Traitor!” Peter yells at the Lyla-less air before silencing himself when he sees Miguel extend his claws above him, like a hungry tiger ready to dig into their meal.
Peter’s eyes go wide and he nervously gulps. The next thing he knows after seeing a smirk on Miguel’s lips, that claw plunges right into his belly, vibrating viciously with tickly intent.
Peter screeches with laughter and kicks his legs while Miguel enacts his revenge. “Nohohoho! Nohoho! Wahahait!!! Miguehehehel!” One could say that Peter's laughter sure lights up a room.

This list is open to anyone and everyone who wants to use it! Do as many or as few days as you’d like, mix and match, do them out of order, substitute another tickletober prompt list alongside it, whatever you wanna do! And, of course, interpret the prompts however you’d like!!
And I’d love to see what y’all create, come October when it’s time for works to go live! My url can get a bit confusing at this point I suppose lol, but if you wanna tag your works as #augtickletober2022 I’ll be poking through the tag throughout the month to see what y’all are creating with this list!

hi are you still doing card pulls? i would love one :)
Good evening! I hope you are doing great!
The card in which I have pulled for you today is the High Priestess. This major arcana symbolizes peace and knowledge available inside of yourself. The High Priestess urges you to connect with your higher self and trust the wisdom you find there. This feline divine does not wait for permission from the universe before trusting in its own power.
The High Priestess is shown to thrive within her own inaction. It is possible that there is information to be found between the lines of your life. Rather than allowing inaction to make you antsy, use this time to ponder on the actions of the world around you, and plan your next move carefully.
I believe this reading to be a sign that you may be ready to trust your own intuition. I am not sure if you dabble in the arts of divination or meditation, but I believe you would greatly benefit from trying to connect with your higher self in this way. I believe your own intuition can shed light on your life that no other person's quite can. If you have found difficulty placing trust in your intuition in the past, it may be time to sit and give it another chance.
Pictured above is the High Priestess card from The Wild Unknown Tarot by Kim Krans. I have also included selenite for purity, sunstone for energy, and clear quartz for focus.

BIOGRAPHY
The Whittaker family has a reputation for being matriarchal, with Elise Whittaker’s husband Ian taking her last name when they married. The women were held in the same regard as their male relatives, ensuring that they were all on an equal playing field where gender roles were concerned. When Elise and Ian welcomed a daughter into the world and had no luck with bearing any other children after her, they were content even though there was no security in the form of a spare to the heir. Lilian Grace, or ‘Lily’ as she much preferred to be called, was the apple of her parents’ eyes, with the doe-eyed little girl being treated as though she was a princess of the Whittaker’s little kingdom. She was the one child with whom they were blessed, and they spared no expense on showering her with the finest toys and clothes that money could afford. Being born into one of the founding families of Crescent Harbor came with privileges and the young girl always had a romanticized outlook on life, which was easy to do within the confines of her family’s cushy Sunstone Beach mansion. Lily was compared to the princesses in Disney movies she grew up watching and loving: romantic, naive, and kind to a fault. Unlike the other residents of the affluent Sunstone Beach, Lily was always compassionate to even those outside of her social circle, stopping to give people money on the street and sharing her snacks with other children. She was easy to take advantage of though, with her overly trusting nature and desire to please everyone. But if everyone else was happy, she should be too.
It was no question that once Lily graduated from Crescent Harbor Prep School, she would attend a prestigious school on the east coast like her parents did - they had both met while at Harvard, getting their bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Ivy League institution. Staying at home and attending Crescent Harbor College was not an option for a Whittaker, and after applying to various schools Lily ended up choosing to attend Vanderbilt University once she completed her high school studies. Although her parents had hoped for her to follow their footsteps and attend Harvard, they were content enough to support her choice in school. In the months before she was set to leave for Nashville, her interest was piqued and she was finally able to experience romance first-hand - with a young man from Hemlock Docks. Her inevitable departure was always at the back of her mind, but the young lovebirds enjoyed their time together until Ian and Elise found out one night. Lily’s parents banned her from continuing the relationship, seeing her boyfriend as being an unsuitable partner due to his social status. Even though Lily tried her best to communicate with him secretly, the problem solved itself when it was time for her to attend university and her parents were able to breathe a sigh of relief. Lily was upset and held a grudge against her parents for the longest while, but at the end of the day they were still her family, the same family who had instilled an ‘us vs. them’ mentality in her impressionable mind and she believed that family came above all else. Although the young lovers tried a long distance relationship, it only made things harder and their relationship fizzled before Lily even completed her first semester.
Aside from the breakup, Lily thrived at Vanderbilt and enjoyed simply being a college student with no familial expectations placed upon her daily. Although she was unsure as to which career path she wanted to follow eventually, she knew that she had a safety net in the form of her family’s company where she would certainly use her communication studies degree. She had a knack for planning events, with her taking initiative with her campus groups’ fundraising and engagement activities. She began dabbling in the world of event planning, and even began working at a wedding planning company in Nashville once she graduated from Vanderbilt. It was not what Ian and Elise had hoped for their daughter, with her having already been accepted to business school by Harvard and Yale to pursue her MBA before returning to Crescent Harbor, where she would eventually fill Elise’s shoes. Nevertheless, they decided to let her have a bit of freedom to enjoy herself before the expectations really became heavy. Was it really a surprise that the romantic and idyllic Lily had a special knack for wedding planning? She often dreamed of what her own big day would be like one day and to whom she’d be married, but until then she was happy helping other couples finish their love stories in the best way possible. She dated around during her time in Nashville, but no relationship really stuck long enough to give a name to the love interest in the romance novel of her life and every date was reduced to a mere side character. It didn’t seem to dampen her spirit or discourage her from dreaming, she simply saw it as a sign that other things should be her focus for the time being.
Two years ago, the event planning business that Lily was working for had closed and although money was not a concern for her, she realized that the job was the only thing that had been keeping her in Nashville after she graduated from Vanderbilt - all of her friends had since moved to different cities and she was rather lonely when she wasn’t at work. The most logical choice was to return to her hometown of Crescent Harbor, which she had been visiting annually since her departure after high school. But restarting her life there was a different game, as she was no longer just Lily; her last name once again carried more weight than anything. She moved back into her family’s manor in Sunstone Beach, and if there was one thing she was thankful for when it came to the Whittaker assets, it was how easy it was to resume her event planning practices in Crescent Harbor and actually run a business from her home. Her parents had ample connections around town, and Lily had formed a professional network with other event vendors in the area. Although weddings are still her forte, Lily has been lending her expertise to other types of event planning too. While she knows her family’s feelings of skepticism and disconfidence towards her career venture, Lily continues to persevere in spite of it. After all, when has she ever been like the Whittakers who came before her?
It is safe to say that Lily is in Crescent Harbor indefinitely, as she has regained the sense of community that she’d always craved and has become pretty successful with her event planning business. She even rekindled something briefly with her high school boyfriend, although things were simply not meant to last between them. There was a second stint on a reality dating show, full of drama, scandal, and affairs in which Lily was entangled. Although she was obviously upset at how humiliated she felt, she took it in stride and instead learned that some things simply weren’t meant to be. But even though she’s not far off from being a thirty-year-old, she still has a very romanticized view of the world and of life, which is easy to do when you’re privileged enough to only focus on the positives. But with the way everything is going, it may be time for Lily to grow thicker skin and adapt. After all, she has been given so much by her parents to become the successful woman she is today and they are growing more impatient with her reluctance to join the corporate world as time goes on.

top 5 favorite cartoon finales (season or series finale)
1) change your mind (steven universe season 5). it wrapped everything up so nicely and was so high stakes and exciting while also being hella heavy, even for su’s standards. i remember watching it with my brother late on a school night and straight up not processing half of it because it was just so. much. i woke up the next morning thinking about it like did that even happen?? it felt like a series finale, and it was a good one, and i was very worried until the movie/suf announcement. it also had so many small satisfying things i’d been waiting for for ages, like lapis and peridot’s new forms and rainbow quartz 2.0/sunstone. made me so happy!
2) the shadow war (ducktales season 1). dude this episode was absolutely iconic. epic kids teamup where they save the day? badass donald? a good resolution to lena’s arc while still leaving it open for more development? magica being her dangerous and hilariously dramatic self? scrooge protecting lena? scrooge apologizing to the kids but not webby yes i’m still salty? it had ALL of that and more!! ducktales consistently delivers a lot in its episodes but this went way overboard. and then DELLA at the end!!! alive and on the moon!!! i physically screamed when the shot of the moon turned into a shot of earth from far away and zoomed in to show della! i know it’s a total surprise to see ducktales on this list but dude i fucking love that show
3) divide and conquer (star vs the forces of evil season 3). it’s been a long time since i watched these episodes or thought about svtfoe in general, so you’ll have to bear with me. but i remember coming home one day after a winterguard practice but before a competition (not entirely sure why), and i had just enough time to watch these episodes. usually on comp days i have a one track mind and that’s everything colorguard, but these episodes completely engrossed me. i think this episode really showed star’s maturity and growth over the seasons well, especially when she gave up her wand to eclipsa. i liked seeing her as acting queen, especially when moon hadn’t been making good decisions previously and star has a more modern and openminded view. it also had some good moments with marco, tom, and that gang. i loved seeing them fight together!
4) storm the castle (star vs the forces of evil season 1). yes another star episode, but for different reasons. i started watching svtfoe right after season 2 ended, so the plot wasn’t as big of a focus as it ended up being in the later seasons. i went into the show expecting an episodic fun comedy about a socially awkward princess and a sweet chill sidekick. storm the castle was the first time the show experimented with its characters in a situation the narrative painted as dangerous rather than comedic, and i loved it! it’s the first time we saw star truly angry. it wasn’t very high-stakes and crazy compared to other shows or the show later on, and there wasn’t a whole lot going on, just the rescue marco plot and toffee’s usurping, but it worked because the show hadn’t dabbled in that kind of episode yet. i’d go back and rewatch it after i saw star get crazy in its later seasons because it’s still satisfying and cathartic.
i maintain my opinion that starcrushed and cleaved were far, far worse than s1 and s3 finales (although not inherently bad). there’s no in between with this show. it does, however, have some really good midseason finales, like cornonation and monster bash. also toffee isn’t a midseason finale, but it definitely goes up there with brilliant plot culmination episodes.
5) destiny parts 1 & 2 (she-ra and the princesses of power (2018) season 4). honestly the only reason this is on this list and not an honorable mention is that i haven’t had the chance to watch spop season 5 yet (which is why i should be doing my homework instead of this so i can watch it sdfgh). but destiny was still absolutely brilliant! she-ra has always been heavy, but i was not expecting all of that to happen. the heart of etheria!! adora breaking the sword!! horde prime taking catra and glimmer! king micah is alive! double trouble and catra!! catra fought hordak and won!! like aaaaaahh god i can’t wait to watch season 5
honorable mentions: volpina (miraculous ladybug s1), the portal (spop s3), dragonguard (the dragon prince s3), the battle for bright moon (spop s1)
thank you for the ask! i seriously need to do my hw now though sksksksksks aaaa

BIOGRAPHY
The Whittaker family has a reputation for being matriarchal, with Elise Whittaker’s husband Ian taking her last name when they married. The women were held in the same regard as their male relatives, ensuring that they were all on an equal playing field where gender roles were concerned. Lilian Grace, or “Lily” as she much preferred to be called, was the second child born to the couple, and that gave her certain levels of freedom that were not afforded to her elder sibling. However, she was still a Whittaker and needed to keep up appearances as such. Being born into one of the founding families of Redwood Bay came with privileges and the young girl always had a romantic outlook on life, which was easy to do within the confines of her family’s cushy Sunstone Beach mansion. Lily was compared to the princesses in Disney movies she grew up watching and loving: romantic, naive, and kind to a fault. In the months before she was set to leave for Nashville, her interest was piqued and she was finally able to experience romance first-hand - with a young man from Mahonia Harbor, the son of a fishing family. The most logical choice was to return to her hometown of Redwood Bay, which she had been visiting annually since her departure after high school. But restarting her life there was a different game, as she was no longer just Lily; her last name once again carried more weight than anything. She moved back into her family’s manor in Sunstone Beach, and if there was one thing she was thankful for when it came to the Whittaker assets, it was how easy it was to resume her event planning practices in Redwood Bay and actually run a business from her home. Her parents had ample connections around town, and Lily had formed a professional network with other event vendors in the town. Although weddings are still her forte, Lily has been lending her expertise to other types of event planning too. While she knows her family’s feelings of skepticism and disconfidence towards the new mayor, Lily ignores that for the sake of professionalism.
It is safe to say that Lily is in Redwood Bay indefinitely, as she has regained the sense of community that she’d always craved and has become pretty successful with her event planning business. But even though she’s not far off from being a thirty-year-old, she still has a very romanticized view of the world and of life, which is easy to do when you’re privileged enough to only focus on the positives. But with the way everything is going, it may be time for Lily to grow thicker skin and adapt.

It was no question that once Lily graduated from Redwood Prep School, she would attend a prestigious school on the east coast like her parents did - her mother was a Harvard graduate while her father had a degree from the University of Chicago. Staying at home and attending Redwood Bay College was not an option for a Whittaker, and after applying to various schools Lily ended up choosing to attend Vanderbilt University once she completed her high school studies. In the months before she was set to leave for Nashville, her interest was piqued and she was finally able to experience romance first-hand - with a young man from Mahonia Harbor, the son of a fishing family. Although Lily and her boyfriend tried a long distance relationship, it only made things harder and their relationship fizzled before Lily even completed her first semester.

Send 👥 for my muse to introduce yours to another muse I am writing
There were two brothers- one of them far more vulgar, and the other far more optimistic and bright. Although Pearl hardly associated with humans, she’d met the two Italian brothers a long time back over a shared love for history- from representatives of the country themselves! Although she knew little of Veneziano, and not too much of Sunstone, she barely had time to introduce the two before Veneziano practically flocked around the orange gem.
“Oh, wow! Ciao, ciao!” Each of his words rolled lightly off of his tongue, laced with a rather soft Italian accent; although Veneziano did represent the entirety of Northern Italy and Italian was his strongest language, he’d had thousands of years to dabble in other languages- and English proved to be rather useful in modern times. “Are you one of Pearl’s friends? Any friend of Pearl’s is a friend of mine! I’m assuming you’re a gem too, yes?”

Wake up, Ingo! (Repost)
(Reposted from 2022 because the original was somehow deleted.)
Anon (paraphrased): “For the prompt thing with wake up, maybe your [sneasel twins want to go out and play with Ingo, but Ingo wants to sleep, so the twins use tickling to wake him up!]”
Author's note: Hello anon! Cute idea! I hope you enjoy Day 21 of Tickletober: Wake up!
Series: Pokemon Legends Arceus
Characters: Ingo and the Sneasel twins: Fern and Splatter
Word count: 607
Summary: Fern and Splatter want to go play, but Ingo wants to stay asleep, resulting in the twins using a playful tactic that’s guaranteed to wake him up. Enjoy!
—
The dawn of the sun emerges over the horizon of the Coronet Highlands and the light creeps into Lady Sneasler’s cave. The noble pokemon is already out and about gathering berries, but her two Sneasel children and the Pearl Clan Warden, Ingo, reside in the cave—some much more awake than others.
Although it's early in the morning, the twins are already raring to go out and play. They hop around Ingo and try to shake him out of his slumber so that he can come with them, but the warden wants to stay asleep in his warm blanket and thin rolled out mattress.
After shaking him provides no results, Fern and Splatter run over to the end of the mattress to tug off the covers. This time, the warden shows some kind of groggy movement, but only to fix the blanket that the twins had previously shifted.
"Just five more minutes you two…" Ingo pulls up the covers over his side and tries to fall back asleep. Usually he’s awake around this time, but more sleep sounds good right about now.
Fern huffs at the warden’s refusal to cooperate. Thinking of a new plan, she hops up onto Ingo and pulls back the sheets again to reveal his side. Splatter watches, having a feeling that he knows exactly what his sister is planning to do.
Seeing that Ingo is still asleep and unaware of her plan, Fern strikes. She wiggles her claws into the side of his uniform to tickle him, a smug little look on her face knowing that the warden is completely susceptible to this little tactic and won’t be able to stay asleep for long.
Right away, soft giggles start pouring from Ingo as he’s awoken from his slumber. He opens one eye and tries to gently nudge the little creature away from that spot on his side. “Fehern, nohohot right nohohow.”
Fern tries to fight him off, then chirps at Splatter to help her. The younger twin nods and positions himself near the sleepy warden’s middle, poking his claws directly into Ingo’s stomach.
Ingo twitches. “Splahahatter, nohohot you too,” he uses a hand to now shield his tummy and gently push the small cat-like creature away. Although Ingo is more awake than he was a minute ago, he’s still not persuaded to jump out of bed just yet. It seems drastic measures will be need to be taken to get this sleepy warden to wake up!
Fern growls at his stubbornness and pulls out another trick in her book of playful tactics. She lifts the end of his uniform and quickly crawls under the fabric to start climbing around his torso. Immediately, Ingo sits up with a giggly gasp once he feels the furry creature roaming about his skin.
“Fehehern! Gehehet out of thehehere!” Ingo wraps his arms around himself to try and stop Fern’s ticklish exploration of his torso. Splatter thinks it looks like fun, so he jumps in to help too. He slips his little body under the other part of Ingo’s uniform, then skitters up and around the warden like he was scaling a mountain.
Ingo squeezes his arms to his sides and wiggles around as the little sneasel twins persist with their sneak attack under his clothes. “Ohohokay! Okahay! I’m up!”
The two sneasels hop out as soon as they hear Ingo give in. They twist around to face the warden and cheerfully squeak with a smile. The day has only just begun, but even in their waking moments, the twins are already up to their usual shenanigans when it comes to playing and spending time with their warden.

Anticipation Over a Dish
Author’s note: Happy October everyone! And happy first day of Tickletober!!! Let’s kick this event off with a prompt from August’s Tickletober 2023 list with Day 1: Anticipation! I hope you enjoy!
Series: Fire Emblem Engage
Characters: Bunet, Chloé, Merrin
Word count: 935
Summary: Bunet gives his opinion on a new dish Chloé and Merrin created, although his answer wasn’t exactly what they were looking for. It seems like Chloé and Merrin have some persuading to do.
—
He thought a single ‘no’ would be sufficient enough, but not for these persistent gals.
“No no no!” Bunet steps back with his hands up in defense. “Chloé! Merrin! Stand back!”
Chloé and Merrin approach him with smirks on their faces and their hands up in the air like wiggling claws. It doesn’t help that his two friends found out a secret about him when they were helping him cook the other day that they can easily use to their advantage.
“Come on Bunet!” Chloé says, “How could you not like our dish?”
“Yeah!” Merrin agrees, “We were so creative!”
“I politely disagree! The ingredients do not mix! It goes against the flavor profile and the voices of the ingredients!” Bunet exclaims. Before this chaos occurred, Chloé and Merrin asked him to come to the Somniel’s Café Terrace for the chef to taste test a dish they had made. The flavor was…unique, to say the least.
“I think they totally mix,” Chloé replies, “My pickled fish guts marinating a flame-cooked Solm roast. The tangy flavors just burst in your mouth. Folk food meets campfire comfort!”
“I was skeptical about it at first too, Bunet,” Merrin responds, “but it’s got potential! It’s like…a new version of surf and turf!”
“It’s no surf and turf dish I’ve ever heard of!” Bunet yells back.
Chloé fakes a gasp. “How rude!” she teases with a smile.
Merrin looks as if she’s about to pounce, a toothy smirk on her face and eyes staring him down. “You’ll pay for that!”
Chloé and Merrin rapidly approach him. He steps back and hits the arm of a couch, throwing a hand out behind him before he teeters over.
“Wait wait wait!” Bunet frantically exclaims with an arm out in defense. Bunet shirks back. He sucks in his chest and belly with a gasp of air when Chloé and Merrin’s fingers freeze in place right before they nearly graze him. He nervously giggles in anticipation while their hands are still hovering so close to his torso. “On s-second thought! Maybe there is some sort of flavoring that has potential!” he speaks quick, frantic.
The female retainers keep their hands in position, ready to strike at a moment's notice, keeping Bunet on edge. “So, you agree with us?” Chloé asks.
Bunet stays quiet. He can’t lie when it comes to food. His eyes dart to the side before giving a shy shrug and smile. “N-No?” he ends his statement like a question so that maybe they’ll have mercy on him.
Merrin grins, “Get him.”
“Oh no—” Bunet is cut off as Chloé and Merrin tackle him on the cushions of the couch. Their hands immediately leap to the task that Bunet has been dreading: their task of tickling him silly.
“Wahahahait! I’m sohohohory! Ahahaha!” Bunet’s voice immediately spills with laughter. He squirms and wriggles on the couch, trying to play-wrestle away the hands of his attackers while still trying to defend his ticklish spots. Although, two against one definitely isn’t easy.
“It’s too late for sorry now, Bunet!” Merrin smirks. She takes the advantage of his outstretched arms and digs into Bunet’s underarms, honing on his tickle spots like a wolf to prey. Bunet should be fortunate that Merrin doesn’t have her clawed gloves on, or his laughter would be spewing like an overboiled pot of noodles more so than it already is. The chef of Solm barks out another laugh and throws his arms down, allowing Chloé the chance to delicately scratch at his ticklish belly. She then moves her hands down and scribbles above his waist, causing Bunet to jolt with an explosion of giggles leaking out of him, like the chocolatey liquid of a lava cake when it’s sliced in two.
“Thahahahat’s a tickle spot! That’s a tickle spohohohot!” Bunet cackles and kicks out his legs. He attempts to shove Chloé’s wrists away, but the nimble pegasus knight fights back to keep on scribbling.
“Ooh, no wonder we found out you were ticklish by accident when I tied your apron around your waist the other day,” Chloé giggles. “This is why!”
Bunet curls himself like a packed ball of rice and extends a hand out to surrender while the other is clutched around his middle. “Ohohohokay! I gihihihive! I’m dohohone fohohor!”
Satisfied with their results, Chloé and Merrin pull their hands away to show mercy to Bunet and the chef collapses even further into the cushions. He turns onto his back with a hand placed on his rising and falling stomach. Chloé and Merrin help him to sit upright.
Chloé returns to a motherly, concerned tone. “Are you alright Bunet?” she asks by gently sitting beside him. “We were only playing around. It’s completely okay if you don't like our dish.”
Bunet shows them a warm smile, “I know you both were only having fun.” He pauses for a moment to think. “You’re right to say that I didn’t like the flavor of your dish, but…perhaps it does have potential.”
Chloé and Merrin are shocked. “Really?” they both say at once.
“Yes. I didn’t think so at first, but after observing your teamwork that you used to execute your effective tickle attack, I can see the same kind of teamwork you used in making that dish. Perhaps, with another member of the team, we can make the dish shine to reach great quality.”
Merrin clasps her hands in excitement. “You mean, you’ll help us? Haha, thanks Bunet!”
“Of course,” Bunet nods, smiling when he sees how happy he’s made his friends. “It’s the least I can do to offer my expertise.”

Statues Don’t Move…Right? (Repost)
(Reposted from 2022 because the original was somehow deleted.)
Anon (paraphrased): “24! So remember how Sholmes had that side job as a [waxwork figure at Madame Tusspells? Well, what if Iris brought someone, who didn’t know it was actually Sholmes, with her to the museum and proved to them it was the real Sholmes?]”
Author's note: Hello anon! Yessss! I totally remember that! I hope you enjoy Day 24 of Tickletober: Don’t Move!
Series: The Great Ace Attorney
Characters: Iris Wilson, Gina Lestrade, Herlock Sholmes
Word count: 621
Summary: Iris takes Gina to the Waxwork museum to show her one of the exhibits, and one of the statues eventually surprises Gina in more ways than one. Enjoy!
—
Iris tugs on Gina’s arm as she speed walks through Madame Tuspells Waxwork museum, dragging the inspector along as they zig-zag through the exhibit floors.
Gina tries to keep up with the inventor’s quick pace. “Iris, remind me wot we’re doin’ ‘ere again?”
“I told you, Ginny! It’s a surprise!” the pink-haired girl responds as she continues pulling on the inspector’s arm.
Soon after, they walk into the House of Horrors exhibit with carefully crafted scenes upon stages in every corner of the room. To the left, the colors of red highlight a gruesome bath scene where a woman dressed in a black gown is ready to strike upon another feminine looking waxwork on the floor. On the right, a wintery scene plays out with a cloaked figure as the main piece. A bladed weapon in his hand, ready to strike down upon another statued woman screaming in terror. However, standing right beside this dark, cloaked figure is another prominent—and perhaps a bit out of place—full-body figure of the one and only Herlock Sholmes, all dressed in his well-known copper coat, hat, and the rest of his matching apparel. He stands tall with an arm outstretched to the side like he’s flexing a bicep.
Iris gestures towards the statue, “Ta-da! Look! It’s Hurley!”
Gina tilts her head to the side, pausing for a moment as she observes the life-like figure. “Huh, yer right.” She straightens out her head and continues looking at the statue, almost amazed at the likeness of the craftsmanship. “Is it just me or does ‘e look…real?”
“Yes, he does look very real,” Iris snickers into her hand. “Although, he seems to be missing a smile on his face. I think he should be more smiley, don’t you Ginny?”
“I…s’pose so,” Gina answers, still struck with confusion. Her eyes then glance downward towards Iris’s direction as the pink-haired girl struts over to the platform to step up on stage where the wax figurines reside. “Iris! Be careful! You shouldn’t be up there!”
Iris completes her step and positions herself behind the great detective statue, “I’ll be fine Ginny! Watch this! The statue is ticklish!”
In a strange turn of events, Iris slips her hands under the statue’s coat. Gina half-expected that the clothes would be made of wax too, but for some reason, that doesn’t seem to be the case for this peculiar waxwork.
The inspector wonders just what in the world Iris is up to. Statues don’t smile and they don’t move, but that’s when something even more unexpected happens…
…The statue flinches forward.
Gina rubs her eyes to make sure she’s not seeing things. When she moves her hands away from view, she realizes that her eyes aren’t deceiving her and that the statue actually seems to be twitching in motion. Even its face is contorting into a wobbly smile like Iris had planned.
“I-Iris?” Gina stutters dumbfounded, “Wot are ya—”
“Hahaha! Iris! Stohohop thahahat! I’m trying to wohohork!” a sudden burst of laughter coming from the statue cuts her off. The great detective barrels over in laughter as he gently tries to grab Iris’s hands away from wiggling into his stomach.
“Hehe! Don’t move, Hurley!” Iris says in a teasing tone, “Statues aren’t supposed to move, remember?”
“I cahahan't stahahand still while yohohohou’re tickling mehehehe! Hahaha!”
Oh, now Gina gets it. Partially anyways. She continues to stand there dumbfounded as the silly scene takes place. She’s at least aware now that the great detective statue isn’t actually a statue, but the reason as to why Sholmes was standing up there in the first place still remains a mystery to her. Well, that is, until Iris finishes her little game so she can ask about it.

Pesselle’s New Discovery (Repost)
(Reposted from 2022 because the original was somehow deleted)
Anon (paraphrased): “Hello! These prompts seem fun! Maybe this would [work for the prompt New Discovery. Ingo received an injury and Pesselle takes care of him, discovering that he’s ticklish in the process.]”
Author's note: Hello anon! I hope you enjoy Day 16 of Tickletober: New Discovery!
Series: Pokemon Legends Arceus
Characters: Ingo and Pesselle
Word count: 646
Summary: When Pesselle checks on Ingo after a small injury, she discovers a new fact about the warden she can't help but smile about. Enjoy!
—
Ingo lies on one of the beds in the Galaxy Hall Medical Corps Office, resting his head on the metal backboard. His hat is over his eyes, but he pushes it upwards to clear his vision when he hears footsteps approaching. He sees that it’s the nurse of the survey corps, Pesselle, with her head tilted to the side and her hands cupped together near the middle of her waist.
“How are you, Warden Ingo?” she asks with a bright, kind smile.
He returns the polite gesture to her. “Better now, thank you for asking.”
Pesselle nods and reaches over to straighten out the coat Ingo’s wearing. She glides her hand over a gaping hole in the side of the cloth where the left of his stomach is usually covered. Earlier in the day, a wild pokemon had leaped out at him and slashed at this spot. Fortunately for him, it was barely more than a scratch. Nevertheless, the Pearl Clan leader Irida persisted that Ingo should get his injury checked out by the Medical Corps. When he came in, Pesselle bandaged it up, but she asked him to stay and rest so that she could check in on him later.
“It seems that the pokemon took a big piece out of your coat and damaged your uniform,” she observes, now getting a closer look at the actual fabric that was torn. “I’m glad that it didn’t do much harm to you.”
“Yes, I’m thankful for that too.”
“On that note, let me see how your scratch is healing.” She places her hands near the side of his stomach, right where the fresh hole of the coat lies, and applies pressure, similar to that of a poke, to the area. Ingo sharply inhales and tenses up as soon as she does so.
“I’m sorry! Did that hurt?” Pesselle looks up at him with worried eyes.
“No, no. I’m fine,” he quickly responds. His tone isn’t very reassuring, but Pessille continues on.
“Okay then,” she takes his word and repeats the same action with her hands, pressing both sets of her fingers into the side of his stomach. Once again Ingo sharply inhales, but this time, to Pesselle’s surprise, the warden exhales with a few airy giggles slipping from his mouth.
Pesselle relaxes, now knowing the exact reason for Ingo’s reaction. “Hehe! Well, it looks like I’ve made a new discovery about one of the Pearl Clan wardens,” Pesselle friendly jests.
Ingo sheepishly rubs the back of his neck, slightly embarrassed about his little ticklish fact, but Pesselle gives him a reassuring smile saying that it’s completely natural. Many of her other patients have had the same reactions too.
“But I still have to make sure you’re alright. Try to hold still okay?” Pesselle reminds him in a soft voice.
The warden nods. When she sees that he’s ready, Pesselle carefully drives her hands back into that same spot near the side of his stomach, trying her best not to tickle him; however, even through the fabric of his uniform, Ingo can still feel the unintentional tickly pokes and can’t help but start to giggle. He tries to hold himself as still as he can, but more audible laughter and subtle squirms emerge as Pesselle continues to check the side of his belly.
“My apohologies Pesselle,” Ingo softly giggles, still trying to keep himself from wriggling so that he doesn’t inconvenience her.
The Medical Corps member chuckles, “It’s okay! They do say that laughter is the best medicine after all.”
Eventually, Pesselle finishes her examination and gives Ingo the clear to leave. He thanks her, to which she responds with “My pleasure,” in her same kind smile. He heads off and Pesselle moves to her desk to write up a quick patient report, chuckling to herself again as she thinks about the new little discovery she made.

May I request ‘cuddles’ For Maxie and Archie? :3 ❤️💙
Hello anon! Yes you may! I hope you enjoy Day 6 of Tickletober: Cuddles!
TV Night Cuddles
Series: Pokemon
Characters: Maxie and Archie
Words: 540
Summary: While watching TV, Archie cuddles with his husband Maxie, but the situation soon takes a playful turn thanks to Archie’s antics. Enjoy!
—
The glow of the television fills the dim living room while Maxie and Archie sit on the couch and watch the screen. The reality competition show they enjoy plays out as contestants race around the Hoenn region, completing challenges and obstacles they find within each city. Although the program is fast paced, it allows Archie and Maxie to relax with one another as they wind down for the day.
Archie has his arms wrapped around Maxie in a hug, while Maxie leans into the warm embrace of his husband, almost as if he was using him like a back rest. The redhead’s legs are also bent in front of his chest, providing a more comfy position for Maxie while he sits on the couch.
As the show continues, Archie leans his head down and rests it on Maxie’s shoulder. With his eyes still on the screen, he affectionately rubs his face near Maxie’s neck, wanting to feel even closer to his husband.
The redhead lets out a soft huff of laughter and scrunches his shoulders up. “Archie,” Maxie says with a lingering giggle, “Careful, you're tickling me.”
The bigger man pulls his face back and looks down at his husband. “I am? Sorry, I didn’t realize. I’ll be more careful.”
“Thank you,” Maxie returns his gaze to the television screen and comfortably leans back into Archie. But as his husband's words process in his mind, Maxie realizes that Archie’s response was not like him at all. He tries to ignore it and continue watching the show, but his assumption turns out to be correct when, moments later, Archie is at it again near his neck, this time purposely rubbing his beard across Maxie’s skin with affectionate cuddles, even more so than he was doing before.
“Hehehe! Archie!” Maxie squeezes his neck tighter to his shoulders to avoid the tickly feeling and tries to pull away from his husband's hug, only to realize that Archie has tightened his hold on him to prevent the redhead from escaping.
“Hm? What’s the matter Maxie?” Archie innocently says as he moves one of his hands down to start lightly tickling Maxie’s belly on top of the tickly nuzzles on his neck. Maxie lets out an adorable squeak upon feeling Archie’s fingers wiggle into his tummy and continues trying to pull himself away from his husband’s playful cuddles.
“I shohohould have knohohown!” Maxie admits as more lighthearted giggles pour out of him.
Archie lets out a warm chuckle of his own into Maxie’s neck, enjoying the sound of his husband's adorable laughter. “Yes, you should have,” Archie teases as he rubs his face into the back of Maxie’s neck.
“Wehehe are mihihihissing the shohohow!” Maxie tries to scold his husband and gently twist his head to the side to defend himself.
“Eh, we can always rewind it.”
“Ahaharchie!” the redhead says with a bit more authority.
The bigger man lets out another chuckle, “Alright. I hear you.” He moves his face away and stops scribbling into the redhead’s belly to allow his husband to relax. Once Maxie recovers, he shifts himself back into his comfortable position beside Archie and they continue watching their show, luckily not missing much after that little detour of tickly cuddles.

“Emmet! Get over here!” Ingo exclaims from across the room of their apartment as he runs after his younger twin. In order to avoid his brother, Emmet dashes around the couch and towards the wall on the other end of the room. He whips around to run in another direction, only to realize that he seems to have backed himself into a corner.
He presses his back against the wall when he sees Ingo approaching closer, who’s now blocking off his other possible escape routes.
“No!” Emmet tries to stand his ground, “I already said that I forgot!”
“How do you forget after I reminded you more than five times in the span of an hour?!” Ingo snaps back. He asked his brother to put the dishes away before he finished getting comfortable for the day. Clearly, the opposite has occurred.
“Okay, then maybe I didn’t want to do it,” Emmet gives a cheeky shrug.
“Emmet!” Ingo growls and widens his stance to prepare for when his brother decides to run again.
The younger twin darts his eyes around the apartment to find an escape route, then lands on his open bedroom door just on the other side. It’s a straight shot behind Ingo if he can just make it.
Emmet looks back at his brother and smirks, “You’ll have to catch me first!” He tries to trick Ingo by halfway darting to the left, switching it up to the right, then quickly making a run for it. As Emmet attempts to bolt past him, Ingo swiftly lunges forward and wraps his arms around his twin to catch him.
“Gotcha!” Ingo exclaims and immediately starts digging his fingers into Emmet’s extremely ticklish sides.
“AHA! NO!” Emmet jolts as if a shock wave goes through his body, “NOT the death spot! Nohohot the deheheath spohohohot!!!” The younger twin flails around as he explodes into laughter. He reels his body forward and tries to pull Ingo’s devious fingers away from his torso, but he collapses to the ground into giggles soon after when he tugs himself too far and loses his balance.
Ingo follows his brother to the floor, still clawing into his twins' sides. “Apologize for not putting the dishes away!”
Emmet continues to squirm as he’s reduced into a puddle of bubbly laughter. “Ohohokay! Okahahahay! I’m sohohohorry!”
“Good,” Ingo says triumphantly and releases his brother from his hold. Emmet flops down onto the carpet and catches his breath, watching Ingo out of the corner of his eye as he walks away. With a low growl, the younger twin pushes himself up to regain his footing. He glares at the back of his brother's head. There’s no way he’s letting Ingo get away with that without any repercussions.
Seeing that the older twin still has his back towards him, Emmet quickly lunges forward and shoots his hands out to scribble into his brother’s underarms.
“AH!” the older twin immediately reels back and bursts into laughter when Emmet claws into his own ticklish death spot, “Ehehehehemmet! Hahahaha!” Ingo clamps his arms down and squirms around, trying to slide out of his brother’s counterattack.
“And it seems that the tables have turned,” Emmet teases, but he soon regrets those words when Ingo reaches backwards and gives another squeeze to Emmet’s sides, causing the younger twin to topple backwards onto the ground once more.
Ingo pounces at Emmet and the two tussle on the floor, starting a full blown tickle fight with one another over a stack of dishes, which Emmet will still probably have to put away by the end of their little squabble.

Hello! You don’t have to do this one if you don’t want to, but for number 3. Shriek, maybe Ingo and Emmet are both trying to get through morning announcements over Gear Station’s public announcement system, but cain instinct has them messing with each other as they do the announcements, distracting whoever is trying to talk and tickling them (their Pokémon could do this too!). And all that the passengers are hearing over the system are shouts and laughter breaking up the announcements, as one tickles the other’s neck or pokes their sides?
Hello anon! This was a really fun prompt for these two! I hope you enjoy Day 3 of Tickletober: Shriek!
The Shriek Heard Throughout Gear Station
Series: Pokemon
Characters: Ingo and Emmet
Words: 845
Summary: While Ingo is trying to make the announcements for Gear Station, Emmet's mischievous side kicks in, resulting in some unexpected sounds of laughter being heard through the station. Enjoy!
—
“Good morning all Gear Station passengers! It’s time for the morning announcements,” Ingo uses his best cheerful voice as he speaks into a desk mic. Him and Emmet sit within their enclosed announcement booth that looks over the tracks of the Gear Station Subways. The tinted window in front of them allows them to oversee the action down below, while also keeping any wandering eyes from looking in.
“First up on our list…” Ingo begins stating today's important information into the mic, reading off the first half of a list. While Emmet stands by for his turn, the younger twin notices that Ingo is completely focused on the announcements. In other words, Ingo can be easily distracted, and the overwhelming urge to playfully mess with his brother sweeps over Emmet.
A wide smile grows on the younger twin’s face. While Ingo isn’t looking, Emmet quickly gives a jab to his brother’s side, resulting in Ingo letting out an unexpected shriek into the mic. The older subway boss quickly slaps a hand over his mouth upon making that uncharacteristic sound, which every passenger down at the station had unfortunately just heard.
Ingo glares daggers into Emmet, who's still wearing that plastered grin on his face. The older twin clears his throat to compose himself, then returns to the usual announcements.
“My apologies everyone. As I was saying…” Ingo continues on while trying not to acknowledge the piercing sound that occurred over the intercom.
Emmet can’t help but quietly snicker to himself. It was pretty amusing to see Ingo lose his composure like that, and, of course, the instinct to want to mess with him kicks in once more.
While Ingo is distracted again, Emmet takes a pokeball from his own belt and sneakily opens the capsule. Eelektross pops out of the ball near his side and purrs happily at its trainer, but Emmet quiets him down, then gestures to the creature to come closer so that he can whisper in its ear. Once it receives its ‘secret mission’ from the younger subway boss, the eel-like creature nods in understanding and floats its way over to Ingo.
“Also, we have the single battles lines that will be available later toda-ahahay!” Ingo starts giggling into the mic when Eelektross wiggles its tail into the side of his neck. The older twin shields himself by placing a hand over the attacked area, then once again glares at Emmet and his shenanigans. With a huff, Ingo slides the mic over to the younger twin now that it’s his turn.
Emmet takes the mic with a cheeky smile and starts up his part of the announcements. “Also on today's list, we have the express train arriving in the afternoon at twelve o’clock sha-ARP!” Emmet suddenly releases a high pitched shriek of his own when he feels two sets of claws jab at his ticklish sides. He looks behind him for his attacker and sees Ingo’s Excadrill smiling up at him, who was no doubt released out of its pokeball so that the older twin could get back at Emmet.
The younger subway boss glances at Ingo with a glare, then leans forward to continue talking into the mic, also keeping a strict eye on Excadrill’s movements to make sure the pokemon doesn’t pull another mischievous trick.
“We also have the double battle subway arriving at—TWO!” Emmet jolts with an arched back upon feeling a squeeze to his side, which was surprisingly delivered this time by Ingo himself.
The older subway boss smirks at his brother, satisfied with his payback, then slides the mic back towards him to finish up the announcements.
“And finally—AH!” Ingo yelps and curls himself over the side of his chair when Emmet lunges forward to claw into both of his underarms. The older twin desperately tries to hold in his laughter so that it’s not heard over the speakers, but he fails miserably and ends up releasing audible giggles as Emmet keeps up the attack.
The younger twin leans over to speak into the mic while he continues to tickle his brother. “And finally,” Emmet picks up where Ingo left off, “the multi-battle track—GACK!” but Ingo retaliates by reaching behind and squeezing Emmet’s sides, causing the younger twin to reel back into his chair, to which Ingo quickly turns around and scribbles into his brother’s sides for payback. With Emmet’s giggly laughter unable to be contained, all the passengers hear it over the intercom, now even more concerned as to why this silly occurrence keeps happening.
Ingo decides to finish up the announcements. “And finally the multi battle track—Ack!” he holds Emmet back when the younger twin flutters his fingers into his neck. “And finally the multi battle track will arrive later today!” Ingo quickly completes the final sentence and shuts off the mic right before Emmet tackles him off his chair.
The Gear Station passengers got the information they needed, but many are still curious as to why the twins were so giggly. The subway bosses must have found the announcements quite amusing today…for some reason.
