Baby Blue is KLS representation (I think) how cool. It's a very rare condition where people get so tired all of the time and will be asleep from weeks to months basically. Her way with living and coping with her illness has made Medicine Pocket a lot less morbid about their own condition and enjoy life more.

Baby Blue is more calm while Medicine Pocket is more limbic. Even though Baby Blue struggles between reality and her unending dreams, she has sleep-talked Medicine Pocket out of doing all kinds of awful things to themselves by slowly repeating back their answer to 'what are you doing'. Medicine Pocket wants to be someone she can depend on; they are more careful and steady when thinking of Baby Blue

Medicine Pocket, in turn, keeps Baby Blue safe when she is unaware of her surroundings. It was really crude at first but after they figured out it was impossible to change her condition they became more protective rather than bothered by the constant dreaming.

Baby Blue has a hundred nicknames/petnames for them. Medicine Pocket isn't confident with coming up with these names but she gets so happy whenever they come up with a new one. Blue's favorite name for them is 'Puppy'.

very wholesome..... Baby Blue requires Medicine Pocket to sleep with her for at least 6 hours a day. She can be little a clingy when Medicine Pocket comes home.

also also Blue mistook Medicine Pocket for a wonderlandshark at first and after she presumed them as such they had to step out of the room to try not to cry and explode thats True love .

This is a LONG post you have been warned. The MedBlue brainrot is SUPER REAL.

OK I CAN IMAGINE BABY BLUE CALLING THEM PUPPY IN THE SWEETEST SOFTEST SLEEPY VOICE EVER FULL OF GENTLE LOVE AND ADORATION… IM GONNA CRYYYYY AND MELT AND EXPLODE… Mental support Baby Blue is real (both in a meta and metaphorical sense).

I also like how she’s, in her own way, helping to keep the researcher in check. Someone has to keep her safe, therefore they also should keep themself safe so that they can be there for her. Yes, they love their job and the delightful dangers it brings with it. But they also have a person dear to them waiting for them. Also, in my headcanon, Medicine Pocket shelters a lot of supposed-to-be-experiment dogs at Laplace so they got to get it together for their pups, too (I imagine Baby Blue napping together with their puppies at the Laplace fields occasionally… Puppy tea party… Somft…). They want to take care of her and their pups, be dependable, and protect them. They used to think that this protection comes at the cost of their own wellbeing but NUH UH. Baby Blue's presence and words remind them that there are dangerous thresholds that they don't need to cross, no matter how 'logical' it seems.

She wants them to sleep with her an adequate amount of hours, therefore they cannot fuck up their sleep schedule by pulling impulsive all-nighters (I’m guilty of this too whoops). These two would get! Cozy! And Baby Blue would softly sleeptalk nonsensical but calming tales from her wonderland to help them sleep. I assume bedtime stories aren’t a very common thing in their childhood, especially when they got taken away with the beagles. So Baby Blue's whimsical, imaginative antics would be like taking back tiny but meaningful pieces of their lost childhood, stolen by a life of cold, clinical, and dangerous research. After they started sleeping with Baby Blue, her warmth and comforting stories allowed the researcher to get not only much-needed sleep, but also sating a yearning. A yearning for coziness and unconditional peace they likely brushed aside for a long, long time through the span of their childhood to teenhood.

On Baby Blue, a lot of people likely gave up on her. Doctor after doctor after doctor shook their heads and raised their hands after examining her condition. Teachers, friends, and even strangers are bewildered by her, calling her crazy, and treating her as more of a 'case study' or 'phenomenon' than an actual person. Those who did stick around her for a while couldn't stand her constant dreamings and tendencies to isolate, they either took it to heart or found themselves drifting away from her. It took her a while but she convinced herself that she was used to it, wonderland and its dwellers were her true friends after all. But at the same time, I feel like she would still realize that she's living in two worlds, and recognizes her loneliness in one of them. She tried to not think about it for a while but it likely bit at her some nights. Medicine Pocket may be the only doctor insistent enough to stick with her for longer than many others before them thanks to their stubbornness and curiosity. That's enough to get her attached to them, to say the least.

I WOULD LOVE TO SAY MORE THINGS ABOUT THESE TWO (such as her wonderland and their research on it, Baby Blue getting curious on Medpoc's research which led to them infodumping, more Baby Blue interactions with Medpoc's pups, Medpoc protecting Baby Blue from weirdo doctors at Laplace, etc etc) BUT I MAY NEED TO SLEEP GOODNIGHT INDONESIA 🔊THANK YOU ANON FOR THE ASK FEEL FREE TO SEND ME MORE OMG THE MEDBLUE BRAINROT IS REAL!!! Would you ever consider making a character ai of aster? (Personaly, I don't really like ai and would never make one of my own personal ocs or otherwise, I'm really just asking out of curiosity)

lissen I'd rather respond in character myself. sure I have no energy for a full RP session with strangers, but it has to be better than the nonsense sleeptalking that is conversing with AI.

I don't really enjoy the fact that it can get convinced of certain facts that have never happened and also like Forget certain things about itself. I always compare interaction with our current artificial intelligence to talking to a person in the middle of them having a fever dream. or extracting visions from their dreams, regurgitating everything it remembers into an image

it just wouldn't be a quality experience, even ethics aside. so the answer is no

oh yeah, I should probably mention, I don't consent to character AI of Aster being made either, let alone of any of my OCs. please just ask me about them instead and if you want it in character, address them

Will talked in his sleep.

Kayla and Austin never complained when they were younger. It was rare that they even heard him do it, they were normally asleep before him. On the occasion it did happen, it was quiet and brief. Still, they had heard him say decently funny things.

No one prepared Nico for this.

It wasn't exactly scary when he first heard Will do it, just startling. After the first few times, the struggle was not to laugh. When he brought it up to Austin and Kayla, they told him they had similar experiences.

"We used to wake up him on accident," Kayla said while she laughed. "He'd get so mad! We ended up being more bothersome than him." Austin snickered. Will always doubted them to some degree. How does one even talk in their sleep? Maybe he'd mumble a few coherent words, but that was it.

"Nah, man," Austin said. "I used to be able to get a full conversation out of you if I played my cards right."

"Bullshit," Will argued. "There's no way." Nico gave him a playful look. "I've never gotten a conversation out of him, but I swear he'll talk about his dreams as he has them." He told Austin.

"Don't encourage them!" Will fumed.

When Will would sleeptalk, it would take a slight movement a few minutes after he fell asleep. Often, Nico getting into bed after him would be enough. Nico found that Will would sometimes answer if he kept his voice quiet and even. That was quite the feat in itself.

Nico shifted in bed and pulled the blanket around himself. Will hummed. "Stop, the zebra man is coming." Nico bit his lip. "Who?" Like Will was alert of some kind of conversation, he turned to face Nico. "He'll take our bananas." A few seconds later and he was lightly snoring again. Nico chuckled as silently as possible.

The next day Nico found Will napping on the couch. He would normally let him sleep, but they had errands. He sat on the floor in front of him and gently touched his nose. "Will, we gotta go to the store." Will wasn't hard to wake up. Nico wouldn't call him a light sleeper, necessarily, just an alert one. He figured that was a result of being a medic.

Will's face scrunched a bit. "You're silly."

It was purely the fact that Nico had dealt with him for so long that he knew this was sleeptalking. He sighed. "Wake up, Will."

"No? Shut the fuck up." He mumbled. That was the only time Nico ever woke Will up laughing. Will wanted to believe, when he woke up, that he hadn't told Nico to shut up, but he was laughing much too hard not to be convinced.

Nico told him a million times that he wasn't upset. "You've told me to shut the fuck up fully conscious before." He said, wiping his eyes. "Oh, gods," He chuckled. "You're a savage, Will." Will protested and apologized the whole way to the store.

Nico woke up in the middle of the night from a nightmare. All memories had been wiped from his brain as soon as his eyes opened, but his heart was racing in his chest. He took a few deep breaths. He was fine, everything was fine. He was safe in bed with Will.

He moved around a little, just to reposition and get comfortable again. He checked his phone, it was 1 am, there was still plenty of time to get back to sleep. But first, he answered Hazel's text. It was sent only a few minutes ago, maybe she would talk to him until he felt calmer.

Somehow he'd managed to turn his ringer on because as soon as he started typing loud clacks emitted from his phone. He quickly turned it off though Will stirred next to him. It sounded like he was trying to say something, but all that came out was mumbled nonsense. Nico was about to just put his phone up and try to go back to sleep when Will managed actual words.

"Are you ready?" He started. "To plan a murder-" Nico's phone buzzed, startling him into dropping it. The noise disrupted Will. "Oof." Was all he said in response to the noise. As funny as it was, Nico just woke up from a bad dream. He wasn't going to be able to ease back to sleep like this.

He poked his boyfriend awake. "I had a nightmare," He whispered. Will rubbed his eyes. "I'm sorry," He yawned. "Are you okay?" Nico nodded, then realized it was too dark to see. "Yeah. Will you just talk to me for a little bit?" Will outstretched his arms. "Yeah, c'mere," Nico laid his head on Will's chest. He ran his fingers through his hair. "What's on your mind?"

Nico inhaled. Will didn't smell like anything particular, just clean and like what Nico now associated as home. "Hazel asked if we wanna get lunch with her and Piper tomorrow." He mumbled. Will yawned. "That sounds nice. Did you tell her yes?" Nico tried to nod but his head movement was slightly restricted. "Yeah." He smiled. "Piper sent a bunch of hearts, so I assume she thinks I made the right decision, too."

Will fell asleep after that. Nico had started to fall asleep, too. He shifted enough to disrupt Will into talking again.

"It's a leopard picnic." He said. Nico fought off a yawn. "Yeah?" He acknowledged Will's statement. "They're drinking tea." He finished. Nico smiled. "That sounds nice." He nuzzled into Will. "I love you." He whispered out of habit.

"I love you too." Will murmured back, even in his sleep.

how often does your muse get sick? does your muse know when to rest, or do they push themselves? does your muse snore? sleeptalk? sleepwalk? the thing(s) your muse thinks about before falling asleep. :DDD

         I. I think kalim gets sick maybe once or twice a year, just like any normal person ! it’s usually a cold of some sort, and he usually gets them right after coming back to school after a break ! you’d think he’d get sick more often from being out in the rain ( of his own doing ) so much, but really, it doesn’t get him sick ! he’d rarely, if ever, get stomachaches & the like because when jamil was cooking for him, it was very well made & healthy ! now, if kalim’s cooking for himself, that might be a different story with a different outcome....

         II. if kalim is very enthusiastic about one of his ideas or plans, he will not rest until he’s accomplished it ! his excitement is his biggest motivator in that regard. but most of the time, what he’s trying to accomplish isn’t enough to deprive him of sleep? kalim runs on so much energy that he just naturally clunks out at the end of the day ! if he’s sleepy, he’ll just... go. he’s also easily coaxed into bed when he’s sleepy, and he’s not the type to fight back and stay up if he’s really tired. 

         III. I’ve always had the headcanon that kalim is a sleep talker ! with normal dreams, he mumbles, and the majority of it is random words and nonsense most of the time. now, if he’s having nightmares, it’s a bit clearer, and there’s the possibility of hearing names and the like. “no,” “I’m sorry,” and “It’s my fault,” are just a few of things he might say. he’s not aware that he does this. he also talks when he’s in that partially lucid state when he’s been woken up but is still kind of asleep. he can answer questions and give responses to things, but he won’t remember them if he goes back to sleep.

         IV. kalim often thinks about the fun things he wants to do the next day ! or friends that he wants to see ! things he wants to tell them ! ideas that he has ! it’s a motley of things. he also thinks about his family and if they’re resting safe & sound. he thinks about jamil and wonders if he had a good day. he quietly tells the stars to make sure jamil has a good day tomorrow too. 

          and that’s usually enough to make him fall asleep.

character in general: WHIS. Oh my goodness I just love love Whis. I have stated on my personal that Whis is straight-up husband material and that he’s probably perfect and I? I can’t describe my love for this character because he’s so weird and it’s great.how they play them: And you play him just as perfectly! I also love the reasoning you have behind some of his eccentric traits and the jokes are perfect and the fairy verse is 10/10. All of the characters you have are ones I really liked right off the bat even without all your lovely expansion of them - including your OCs! how they play them: And you are like the Midas of muses because every muse you touch becomes gold. All of your muses are done so well! I love how awkward Trunks is, I love how Shuu is so blind to the Sons because of how she was practically born from them, I love how Goten has this heart issue that was quickly tossed aside in the canon. my opinion on;

character in general: 13 is a big boi that honestly I only enjoyed for the looks because the movies most certainly did not give him that much of a personality. how they play them: AND THEN WE HAVE YOU, COMING IN AND GIVING HIM AN EQUALLY ENJOYABLE PERSONALITY AND BACKSTORY. You’ve only made him shoot up in the ranks of characters I like, and that’s just not fair. You take what’s given and expand the shit out of it, and it all works so nicely! TBH, I have yet to read the revamps done on your new blog, but you know I’ll get around to doing that at some point and I know for sure that it’ll be gold.the mun: We don’t really talk a lot, but when we do it’s a treat. We are also united in our blog-making habits.
