Started playing DMMd myself for the first time instead of just watching it online, but it looks like I somehow ended up on Mink's route 😭 I mean, I figured I'd eventually play through all of them to finally get the full picture, but my least favorite on the very first run? A reverse harem with a Skider, a Snake, and a Skelepede Sans(es)…………

It’s reverse harem jealousy and possessiveness x11 and everyone is territorial and instinct-driven and living with their natural enemies, while their perfect mate is in the middle of all of them trying to court you. So not only are they enemies, they’re also competitors, so the likelihood of violence happening is also increased fjehgkrhf

Skider lives in the attic and webs it up, likes to stalk and manipulate the most. He likes to creep up on you and Yoink you up to the attic. Also puts up silk strings to know where you are. Whispery and generally creepy (in the way a spider is creepy, not creepy like “please don’t touch me” djhfd)

Snake loves flustering you. He’s trying to curb his instincts the most- he absolutely wants to throw hands for you and squeeze you, but you need someone Somewhat calm in the midst of monsters. Tries to coax you to relax more and is more subtly sinister in making you rest in his coils and fall asleep, then silently boasts to the other monsters that you’re sleeping in him.

Skelepede is the most volatile and unpredictable of the three and hangs out in the basement. He isn’t quiet like Skider- he likes to make his presence known, prides himself in being able to steal you from either of them. When he ‘lunges’ he’s in and out like flash, one sec you’re on the couch, the next a train of centipede rushes towards you and then you’re gone. Temperamental.

Hello ! Yes, of course. I love questions like these. You didn’t give me subgenres, so, I’ll just a song from each genre. 

1. Kas.hmir — Led Zep.pelin  You can’t talk about rock without talking about Zeppelin !  This song is classic Zeppelin. But, if you want to know which Zeppelin album to listen to go for Zeppelin IV. It’s undoubtedly the top rock album in the history of music.  Also try: Comfortably Numb — Pink F.loyd. 

2. Paranoid — Black Sa.bbath  I mean, you can’t beat classic metal ! They’re classics for a reason. Sabbath are legends.  Also try: Hell Bent for Leather — Ju.das P.riest. because I love this song and Ju.das.  3. Smaller God — Darling Violetta This band is my favourite dark wave band. And, they’re a huge inspo for Aurora’s band too. They’re super underrated, you gotta try them out ! 

4. Lucr.etia, My Refl.ection — Sisters of M.ercy For some goth rock, I present to you my favourite goth rock band of all time. Sisters of Mercy !  Floodland is one of the albums I’ve listened to dozens of time. Fun fact, but they hated being called goth rock.  Also try: Just Like Heaven — The C.ure 

5. Swamped — La.cuna C.oil Okay, so sue me. But when it comes to goth metal, nothing beats Lacuna for me. I’ve heard all of their albums multiple songs. It also featured on my favourite game Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Comalies is an interesting album, but I’ll also recommend Unleashed Memories. Also try: Black No. 1  — Type O N.egative 

6. Li.thium — Nir.vana Like I said, ‘90s has my heart. And, so does grunge. You can’t talk about grunge without mentioning Nirvana. Also try: Would — Alice In C.hains & Ballad for Dead Friends — Dashboard Prophets. 

7. Master of Puppets — Met.allica For thrash, you gotta go for the top four: Meta.llica, Mega.deth, Sla.yer, Anth.rax. Also try: Angry Again — Megadeth. 

8. Hook, Line, & Sinker — Royal Blood  Hard rock. I love Royal Blood, they’re a huge inspo for Lunae/Cintinv and his story. Also try:  Nigh.tmare — Ave.n.ged Seve.nfold

9. March of Mep.histo — Kam.elot Symphonic/power metal. I was a huge fan of Kamelot around 2014-2015. I exclusively only listened to power metal, symphonic metal, and goth metal. Both singers for Kamelot are power house vocalists. The Black Halo and Silverthorn were my favourite albums. This is a good place to start if you like classical music want to try metal. They’re pretty similar.  Also try: Ne.mo — Nigh.twish.

10. Sonne — Ram.mstein  I love industrial metal and Rammstein are the top name. Fire tw for the video. They’re pyromaniacs. Also try: Bloodlines — Ministry. 

11. Sober — Tool Progressive rock giants. I like their music, okay ?  Sue me. Also try: Tom Sawyer — Rush. 

12. Kickstart My Heart — Mo.tley Cr.ue Yep, hair metal. Also try: Round and Round — R.att. 

13. Ch.op Su.ey — Sy.stem Of A D.own When it comes to nu metal, you can find a variety out there. S.umo C.yco has a similar vibe to S.OAD, but they’re like sprinkling a little No Do.ubt.in there. Also try: Diamond Eyes — De.ftones 

14. Deceiver, Deceiver — Arch E.nemy Okay, so I don’t listen to death metal much anymore. But, you can’t not mention death metal while talking about metal.   Also try: Pisces — Ji.njer  ( this one is more famous and people generally like it ! )

       With the NEW LORE revealed in the Re/Mind DLC, this is a SUPER QUICK HEADCANON expanding the “main” verse I have for YOZORA, before he ascended as the GOD OF DEATH under the guidance of the WATCHMEN OF FATE. And honestly, it’s the NATURAL CHARACTER PROGRESSION for him, should he have chosen not to HEED the Watchmen’s call, to claim his TRUE THRONE. 

       I’m DEBATING whether to make a new tag for it, but this is the VERSE where Yozora is essentially the “ FALSUS REX ” as per the title of the SECRET EPISODE, because he hasn’t ascended as the “ VERUM REX ”/ TRUE KING, and is blind to the TRUTH of his world. His “ TRUE IDENTITY ” mentioned in Jiminy’s journal is the FACT he’s the god of death.

       ONE.  ┆ COMMANDER YOZORA, LEADER OF THE RESISTANCE

       Yozora is the COMMANDER of a group of mercenaries / freedom fighters in the BATTLE against Gigas Corp and the GIGAS themselves. Yozora, whilst independent, KNOWS he cannot fight Gigas Corp ALONE, and thus forged an ARMY with the aid of his knights MAGIA and AEGIS. As commander, YOZORA is a formidable leader, but incredibly RUTHLESS— Magia and Aegis thus act as Yozora’s MORAL COMPASS and “ spokesmen ” in the more SOCIAL ASPECTS of maintaining their ARMY, such as recruiting new members and keeping MORALE high. 

       TWO.  ┆ WHY ‘COMMANDER’, AND NOT GENERAL?

       On REPLICA EARTH, a myriad of SPACE COLONY ARKS, the rank of COMMANDER in the military is considered SUPERIOR than the rank of GENERAL. This is because in space aviation, a COMMANDER ( or mission commander ) is the most SENIOR ASTRONAUT and leader of their SPACECRAFT, and is responsible for making CRITICAL DECISIONS-- and thus, during HUMANITY’S ESCAPE from Original Earth, commanders were thus CONSIDERED more influential than common GENERALS without aeronautic experience. The SENIORITY of commanders stuck, and the MILITARY adjusted their ranks accordingly.

       THREE.  ┆ COMMANDER VERSUS KING

       MAGIA and AEGIS both maintain their ORIGINAL ADDRESS of Yozora ( your Highness / King Yozora / my liege ) from their previous SERVITUDE under Gigas Corp, but the OTHERS address Yozora as COMMANDER. Yozora definitely prefers the LATTER, given the past traumas associated with his MONARCHIAL TITLE, but understands Magia and Aegis’s REASONS for still addressing him as KING, and is further recipient to this AFTER he rises as the VERUM REX after encountering the WATCHMEN OF FATE. 

       LUXORD, who is speculated to be the DRIVER seen in the good ending of the SECRET EPISODE, is one of the Watchmen of Fate, slipping himself under Yozora’s leadership as a MEANS of both observing him and steering him towards his TRUE DESTINY.
