Vanilla Mac Was Supposed To Get Crunk At The Taco Party, But He Didn't

DarkSydePatches and I arrived at the Vanilla Mac castle and heard loud salsa rap music. DarkSydePhineas had already arrived and was rapping. He was rapping about his failed culinary career. I could relate all too well.

We brought in groceries. Peter and Kendrick helped us bring in the food. Sir Captain Paul the Goat was in charge of mixing the music because he was Paul the DJ Goatmaster.

“I DO IT FOR MY TACO BITCH! THIS FOR MY TACO BITCH!” DarkSydePhineas shouted.

Paul the DJ Goatmaster was rolling them beats and rolling on the floor laughing.

A random African-American man walked into the party. I didn’t know who the fuck he was.

Vanilla Mac was ushering us into the kitchen to make taco mac.

While we were making taco mac, a surprise visit from my Uncle Matthew occurred at this party. Music played at full volume. “EWWW IT’S DOMINOS!” DarkSydePhineas shouted.

“NO DOMINOS! STOP THE MUSIC!” Uncle Matt shouted.

The record malfunctioned, and Paul the DJ Goatmaster’s head exploded.

DarkSydePhineas did his trademark howl laugh.

“Everyone! I have bad news!” Uncle Matthew shouted.

“What happened?” King Chocolate-covered Gummy Bear asked.

“Yeah, what’s going on?” Vanilla Mac asked.

Nugget barked. Then music similar to Nelly’s “Getting Hot in Hurrr” started to play. “SO HOT IN! SO HOT IN HURR!!” he rapped. Then he ended up being in a bigass taco shell.

“Hey! I’m trying to talk. Eyes on me!” Uncle Matthew motioned to himself.

The music played with no chihuahua rapping.

“It must be serious if ‘Hot in Hurrr’ is not allowed to be played at a taco mac party,” Lindsay pointed out.

Prince Carrington beat the music machine until it broke.

“Thank you. Everyone! Queen Marjorie Ace passed away a week ago from pneumonia!” Uncle Matthew shouted.

“WHAT?!” DarkSydePhineas asked.

“HUH???! What happened to my mom?!” King Bruce Ace shouted. “Why didn’t anyone tell me?!”

Tension rose in the air. Habaneros, jalapeños, ghost peppers, arbor chiles, chipotles, and Nelly in a dark red pepper costume fell out of the sky.

“I meant to, but it’s not something I can discuss over text or a phone call. I found you here at the party, Your Grace,” Uncle Matthew said with tears in his bluish gray eyes.

“Thank you, Matthew. I appreciate you telling us,” King Bruce Ace said. He drank his margarita.

“I’m sorry for your loss,” Vanilla Mac said.

Peter, Kendrick, and DarkSydePatches continued to cook the meat, chop the vegetables, and boil the macaroni. I just set up the taco shells because it was all I could do.

I was just heartbroken to hear the Queen Marjorie Ace passed away. She was a true Southern gentlewoman. She was a good queen. She lived a long, decent life, much better than mine. I hate to say it, but my life minus parties and college has been nothing short of a living hell. She should be glad that she doesn’t have to witness the downfall of the United States of China. I’m happy for her, to be honest, but sad for the rest of us who have to suffer without her support. (At least she didn’t have to bear witness to the 2024 Presidential Babbling. There was no debate. We just watched to figure out who would destroy America as we know it the fastest. Ladies and gentlemen, this country is ABSOLUTELY FUCKED. Our choices are a felon or a babbling idiot. God help us.)

As I was filling the bowls with lettuce, I was thinking that I wished that Queen Marissa Ace, my aunt and King Bruce Ace’s oldest sister would be a good matriarch for the Secret Society of Frustrated Royal Animals. I hoped she would rise to the occasion and help save what was left of this accursed world that I had all but lost interest in entirely.

“Kendrick, are you done chopping the onions?” DarkSydePatches asked.

“One more,” Kendrick answered without emotion.

Peter was cooking the ground beef silently.

Jaybird walked in and started chopping the tomatillos.

Vanilla Mac took the vanilla vodka out of the kitchen and started drinking straight from the bottle.

Lindsay came into the kitchen to help get more pots of water boiling.

“What up, TACO!?” the random African-American man asked.

“Not a damn thing,” Peter said.

“Maybe tomorrow there will be,” Lindsay said.

So we made food and ate it and then all agreed to try this shit again tomorrow. Fuck it.

plus, its genuinely your personal point of view that he reads like he has a crush on stollen. the game has featured close relationships between kids an adults before (firecracker and DJ, habanero and fire spirit) and it feels weird to imply this as an argument to him being a kid

ultimately i dont think its worth it to defend so hard your right to ship smth when the evidence abt his age is so conflicting for everyone... like at least you understand WHY people think he is an adult, right?

Grabbing his keys and wallet, he continued, "They've got a great selection of craft beers on tap. They rotates new stuff in regularly. But if you're feeling fancy, their cocktails are where it's at. The bartenders are like mad scientists, always coming up with new concoctions." He paused, considering their options. "So, you up for a full meal or just snacks and drinks? We could always hit up Poseidon's Bistro after if you want something more substantial. Their seafood is top-notch." They headed towards the door, where he pushed the door open. "Either way, you'll love TRIC. It's got this cool industrial-chic vibe, and there's usually live music or a DJ. It's the perfect spot to unwind and have a good time."

Character Intro: Phlegethon (Kingdom of Ichor)

Age- 47 (immortal)

Location- The Underworld

Personality- Phlege is a fiery, explosive (mostly in a good way) guy. He's larger than life, putting 1,000% into everything he does. He's in a relationship.

His namesake river is made entirely out of red hot flames. The river flows down into Tartarus, keeping the wicked alive so they can endure the torments in the Fields of Punishment.

As the Titan god of fire, his abilities include pyrokinesis, calokinesis (generating and manipulating heat), fire healing, fire mimicry, summoning and controlling Phlegethonian rubies & copper, total fire/heat immunity, and hydrokinesis (as it pertains to his river).

Phlege lives in an obsidian stone house, a few miles down from his river. He has a pet phoenix, the other "girl" in his life named Ember. He falls in love every time she "reborns" from the ashes. He’s been thinking about getting another pet- a dragon! He also has his own personal hot tub, filled with lava that he enjoys soaking in after a long day's work.

Aside from running the affairs of his namesake river, Phlege is also an accomplished blacksmith. He mainly mines (and supplies) Olympius with Phlegethonian Rubies and Copper.

He nicknames himself and the rest of the Underworld river gods as the "OG Darkside Crew." Of course his favorite person there is his girlfriend Styx (Titaness of hatred). Phlegethon thinks that Acheron (Titan god of pain) is too serious and also tries to get Cocytus (Titan god of wailing & lamentation) to loosen up a bit more.

In Olympius, he admires the work of the three blacksmithing cyclopes (Brontes, Sterope, and Arges). They all get together, hanging out sometimes when they come to the Underworld to visit. Phlege is also cool with Perses (Titan god of destruction), Draco (god of dragons), Atë (goddess of mischief, ruin, blind folly, delusion, & downfall of heroes), Empusa (goddess of shapeshifting), Ponos (god of hard labor & toil), Menoetius (Titan god of rage, violence, & rash actions), Polemos (god of war cry & battle), and Alastor (god of blood feuds & vengeance).

He personally thinks that Styx's ex-husband Pallas (Titan god of warcraft & battle) is the "dumbest asshole he's ever known." The two met very briefly once during a signing of a new Olympian law- approving out of realm tourism in the Underworld.

His go-to drink is a cucumber jalapeño margarita. He also likes bloody marys, black martinis, negronis, habanero martinis, scotch on the rocks, & beer. Phlegethon enjoys an olympian sized dark roast coffee from The Roasted Bean.

In the Underworld, Phlegethon has his own business- a nightclub called The Fire Pit. The fiery aesthetic is played up, including his delicious inferno ghost pepper wings being on the menu!

Phlege has a very particular palette for spicy food. The hotter, the spicier, the better! Most of the things he eats, he douses in sriracha, chile, or chipotle sauce. Some of his favorite foods include hot and sour vinegar chili (with extra peppercorns), fried plantains (covered in chile tamblado sauce), and inferno ghost pepper wings- the hottest chicken wings... EVER! He made them once for a Winter Solstice Festival & everyone aside from Nyx (goddess of the night) threw up in fiery agony.

He does want to know Styx's children a lot better. Phlege has only gotten to know Bia (goddess of force & power) and they both get along. He's definitely not interested in groveling or kissing ass since Zelus (god of envy, jealousy, & zeal) told him off.

In his free time, Phlege LOVES lava surfing. He's also a "DJ in training," experimenting with afro-futurism & reggaeton music. He also loves spending time with his girlfriend, feeling like his heart "bursts into flames" every time he's around her! He also enjoys blacksmithing, working on his music, cooking, & sword fighting.

Eat-in Cuban Style- Among its main dishes of Cuban cuisine, prepared by Chef David Saul Gonzales (Panamanian) and Hector Lara (Cuban), are Picadillo a La Habana, Fried Cow, Pork Suckling Pig Delirium Style, Pork Dumplings, Pumpkin cream with crispy Serrano ham and Parmesan cheese, Grilled cuts: Delirio beef steak, Deliriosteak with house Chimichurri, T-Bone, Churrasco, New York, Entrana, smoked Pork Chop, Batabano Prawns served in a Pineapple Boat, Grandma's Chicken Croquettes. The dishes are accompanied with rice congri or rice and asleep beans or Yoca al Mojo.

You can't miss the Classics: Cuban Sandwich (Pork Leg, Ham, Swiss Cheese, Pickle) or The Cuban Pepito (With Pork and House dressing).

Chap 11 Who Can You Trust?

Chris: Last time on Total Drama Island… Things really got cooking between the campers. Heather pushed Leshawna too far in the cook-off challenge and ended up one chilly mama. Owen had a hard day. Geoff led the Killer Bass to victory. And the Screaming Gophers got to the bottom of their losing streak. It was buh-bye, Beth. Have the Gophers broken the curse? And just how much trust do they have in one another? Find out this week on Total. Drama. Island!

"Hey Harold you know what they did to you wasn't right." I said sitting with him he looked so sad. "Yeah well they had their reasons I'm just a target." He said ok besides wanting Duncan to hurt, this boy needs help. "Then lets make them stop." He looked at me shocked. "Say I don't know Duncan the ring leader. Make him feel pain." I said and he jumped up. "Are you crazy he'd kill me!" How original this one is going to need work. "Well look at it this way he will know. You won't take his crap sitting down. " I said standing up. "Why would you want to help me?" He asked confused. "Because unlike the people on this island I think bullying is wrong." I said walking away letting what I said sink in.

(Confessional: Chris)

Chris: Hi. Chris, here. Sometimes teams just don’t get along. So the producers and I thought the best way to work through the group friction would be… to exploit it for laughs! This is gonna be awesome!

(Confessional Off)

Chris: So, last week’s challenge exposed a few Gopher issues. And I’m sensing a little something funky floating in the Bass pond, too.

Duncan: Ahh!

Chris: So, this week’s challenge is going to be centered around building trust. Because all good things begin with a little trust.

(Confessional : Gwen)

Gwen: I trusted Trent once. He left me buried alive on the beach.

(confessional off)

Chris: There will be three major challenges that will have to be completed by two or more members of your team. Normally, we like to have the campers choose their partners, but not this time! More fun for me!

Chris Okay! So for the first challenge, you’ll be doing an extreme freehand rock climbing adventure! DJ and Duncan will play for the Bass. Heather and Iris for the Gophers.

"This is going to be interesting. " I said watching the two glare at each other. Iris: Ugh…

Chris: Here’s your belay and harness.

Heather grunts

Iris: Hey! What’s your damage?

Heather: If you think I’m letting you hold me up, you’re nuts!

Chris: You won’t be holding her up exactly. One camper pulls the slack through the belay as their partner climbs. If the climber falls, the belay will stop them from crashing. The catch? Both the side and the base of he mountain are rigged with a few minor distractions like…Rusty nails... Slippery oil slicks... Mild explosives and …A few other surprises.

Harold: Wicked!

Chris: The person on belay must also harness their partner up. It’s all about trust, people. And remember, never let go of the rope. Your partner’s life depends on it.

Iris: Excuse me dad, can we trade partners? I really don’t feel like being dropped on my head today.

Heather: Please. As much as I love your company, I’m not gonna throw a challenge just to kill you. Yet. Now spread ’em.

DJ and I start climbing when I pray that I don't die. Chris: I promised surprises! Habanero pepper sauce, anyone?

Heather: Ugh! What the heck, Chris?!

Iris: Whaaaa! Ow! HEATHER YOU BITCH!

I scream before climbing again.

Chris: Muy Caliente.

I glare down at him "APUESTO QUE ES LA ÚNICA FRASE QUE CONOCES DICK"

[ding]

Duncan: Ah…��[gulps the sauce] Is that the best you can do?

Chris [hushed, to Chef] : Is that the best we can do?

Heather: Come one, Iris. You don’t wanna fall behind. [whip] [rip]

Iris: You Bitch!

Duncan[admiring the "view"]: Well, you don’t see that every day.

Chris: *points watergun at him* If you don't want to go blind, KEEP YOU EYES ON DJ!

DJ: Whoa! [screams]

Duncan: Whoa!

DJ and Duncan grunt.

Duncan  [ after he groans] : This bites.

DJ: Ugh. Big time.

Iris: Aw, screw it.

Chris: Looks like the Gophers have won the first challenge.

Iris: Yeah! Crap!

Chris: Like legendary marksman William Tell, you’ll be knocking arrows off your partner’s head with crab apples.

Courtney: Um, wasn’t it the other way around?

Chris: Shush! Also, the shooter will be blindfolded! [DJ gasps] The person who knocks of the arrow while causing the least amount of facial damage wins.

[smack]

DJ: Ooh!

Chris: Aw, nuts! Leshawna and Owen, you’ll be one team. Courtney and Sadie, you’ll be the other.

DJ groans

After a few minutes Leshawna got the apple Sadie kept pounding Courtney with apples. I was laughing and clapping my hands.

Chris: Sadie! It’s over, man! Let it go!

"Oh come on dad this was gold"

Sadie: Oopsie. Sorry.

Courtney: Ugh… You’re going down. [moans and faints]

Chris: And now,the blind trapeze! To avoid serious injury, the trapeze has been set up over this pond, which is full of jellyfish.

You two will stand blindfolded on the platform until your partners tell you when to jump.

Then hopefully they’ll catch you. Or that’s gonna be one heck of a painful swim. [laughs] Okay! Hut hut!

Harold got Bridgette across no problem. Then Heather and Lindsay came up. Lindsay let Heather drop. "HA KARMA BITCH "

Chris: And now, the final leg. The blind toboggan race.

Leshawna: The say what?

Chris: Each team will have a driver and a navigator. The driver steers while the navigator show directions. Oh yeah. And the driver will be blindfolded! [Geoff and Harold gasp] Not many of you left, huh? Keep losing you guys. [laughs] Oh well. Uh… Gwen and Leshawna, Geoff and DJ.

Chris: On your marks. Get set…

an airhorn blows

Leshawna and Gwen came down  DJ and Geoff trailing. DJ and Geoff cross the finish line only to be disqualified because DJ took off his blindfold. Chris: Who wants a treat? A tasty goodie that represents exemption, security, peace of mind.

Courtney [after she sighs]: Just get on with it.

Chris: And if you don’t get a marshmallow, you have to walk the Dock of Shame and you can never come back. Ever. Let’s see. One for Duncan. One for Bridgette. One for Courtney. DJ, Geoff. Well done, my brothers. Looks like we only have one left. Sadie and Harold, the final marshmallow…

(Confessional : Courtney)

Courtney: When I say someone’s going down, they go down.

(Confessional off)

Harold gulps.

Courtney: Mm, come on already!

Chris: Don’t rush me! The audience eats up this kind of dramatic conclusion![Courtney sighs.] Harold.

Sadie: You know what? That’s fine with me, you… marshmallow eating freaks! [cries loudly]

Chris: The rest of you are safe. For now.
