Create your own coffee-infused alcohol at home with this simple recipe. It's a versatile ingredient that can be used to make unique coffee-flavored cocktails or enjoyed on its own.
Ingredients: 1 cup coffee beans. 2 cups of your choice of alcohol e.g., vodka, rum, bourbon. 1 vanilla bean optional. 1 cinnamon stick optional. 1/4 cup sugar optional.
Instructions: Pick out your favorite coffee beans to begin. Pick any kind you like, but make sure they are ground and roasted just now. Put 1 cup of coffee beans and 2 cups of your favorite alcohol in a clean container that won't let air in. If you'd like a stronger coffee flavor, you can change the amount of coffee to alcohol. If you want to add more flavor, you can split a vanilla bean and add it to the mix. For a little spice, you can also add a cinnamon stick. You can add 1/4 cup of sugar to the mixture if you want to make it sweeter. You can change how sweet it is to your taste. Put the lid on tight and give the jar a good shake to mix the contents. Keep the jar in a cool, dark place for at least 24 hours. For a stronger coffee flavor, let it infuse for up to a week. Every day, gently shake the container to make sure the infusion is spread out. When the time is up, strain the alcohol that has been infused with coffee through a fine-mesh sieve or coffee filter to get rid of the coffee grounds and any other solids. Put the flavored alcohol into a clean bottle or other container to store it. Now that you've made your own coffee-infused alcohol, you can use it in cocktails or drink it by itself. You can use it to make tasty drinks and cocktails with coffee flavor!
