ngl it would’ve been so insanely sick if Mara was the Chosen One and not just because it would be more like hha but because as a kid that would’ve been the biggest plot twist of my entire life
#I know Mara isn’t the chosen one in hha but her character is closer to Noa than Nina is imo#plus I think I remember someone telling me hha was going to make Mara the chosen one and then she left?#and also because she was the chosen one in dha I think (I know nothing about dha so yeah correct me if I’m being stupid)#that plot twist would’ve absolutely ATE up as a kid especially with how how so strongly implied the chosen one was nina#house of anubis

to that last point, even before s3 aired i always assumed he let joy get taken under the assumption that it wasn’t permanent.
i really like the reading that rufus only betrayed the society within the decade before the show began, and as the chosen hour approached, the society got paranoid that rufus wasn’t actually dead and decided it couldn’t hurt to hide joy away for a while just in case rufus came sniffing
ostensibly the descendants were placed in anubis (and nowhere else) for a reason, but victor wasn't seeker so he couldn't have known who the descendants were. but it also wouldn't take a genius to figure it out, especially since details like the members' names, the kids' scholarship records, and everyone's pictures (the easiest clue of all since they're all identical) were probably easily found via the internet or trudy's office or the school or the house itself. so there's a very high chance he actually did know, by the time s3 rolled around, that he had the descendants under his roof and who they were, even though the show made it seem like he was clueless. so perhaps victor knew a lot more about everything than he was letting on but did a damn good job of covering it up…starting with who were (or weren't) the paragon and osirian.
#this also goes along with hha/dha’s disappearance plot a bit more#that it WAS ultimately for her protection#house of anubis

dha kar'ta edits and retcons
hey y'all! no excuse for not making this post earlier except that i'm a flake when not on my laptop, but i did some massive edits on dha kar'ta on July 23rd, which was after my last update on July 15th, which was a little silly of me because then tons of people went and reread from the beginning and didn't get to read it with all the edits.
most were just formatting and adjusting sentence flow, fixing bits that have always bothered me, fixing some formatting issues, removing the bolding on the old retcons, adding chapter titles (Mando’a numerals), changing the formatting of the Mando'a glossaries, and all links are now fixed!
Unfortunately, these edits DID include some new retcons/clarifications, but here’s a quick rundown of them so you don't have to go looking for them:
clarified why Obi-Wan killed Rret So instead of capturing him on Dagobah (Dha/the Force assured him they wouldn’t be able to get information out of him, nor would he allow himself to be brought back to the light);
changed how Obi-Wan addresses a few people, last name vs first name (this will be a minor plot point later on, but i needed to backdate it so to speak. also Ki-Adi-Mundi is now one name and does not have a first and last name);
removed “Maker” as an oath/swear (I’ve never liked how it sounded, but only recently actually liked “Force” and “Stars” and “Manda” in place of “God” or “Jesus” as like. an invective? is that the word? there’s a word but i don’t know what it is. expletive isn't quite right);
the inclusion of the term ba’ji/ba’ju’alor, as created (to my knowledge) by cjwritesfanficnow and discussed here (there’s only like three spots i’ve added it to, i just like it a lot and it helped those scenes flow better);
some clarification about Qui-Gon discouraging Obi-Wan’s visions in chapter 4 (just clarifying that the council thought Qui-Gon had worked with Obi-Wan to balance his Unifying Force with the Living Force, not stifled his visions);
changed Dha from being made of durasteel to coruscanthium (this will be plot-relevant at some point);
Obi-Wan is given a bodyglove/kute for under his armour (instead of his Jedi undertunics; it’s a dark blue almost black, but only because he couldn’t find a black one);
one line clarifies all Haat’ade helmets have some level of beskar, for cultural and protective reasons;
added a line from Dooku while discussing Lom in chapter 9 to fix a plothole later (basically just acknowledging they would have immediately suspected the second darksider as the one to have been hired to take the holo of Obi and Dha);
added a few lines mostly in chapter 3 about how Qui-Gon’s fear of Obi-Wan Falling in their early padawanship would influence/exacerbate Obi-Wan’s own feelings regarding killing Maul and Rret So (I’d already set this idea up, just made it a little more explicit that Qui-Gon has absolutely given Obi-Wan a complex(?) about always being worried of Falling);
i think that's all the big ones! a version of this note will be included in the next chapter update, and most of these changes will be expanded on as we go on! am especially eager to talk about why dha's hilt material is important and why i didn't choose beskar 👀
#love y'all thank you so much for stickin with me and this story#dhakarta#cj updates#i read and cherish every comment btw i wish i could respond to every single one#but i can't so just know i screenshot and reread them whenever i need a pick-me-up

okay so no one asked (and you know my opinions on reboots/remakes— especially a house of anubis remake 🤮) but i was curious about how a remake could consolidate plot lines into a short Netflix series bc you know a streaming service would never go over like 10-13 episodes… and tbh to make a story like HHA/DHA/HOA work, you need a ton of episodes. HOWEVER, here are some things they could do to cut it down:
(note that this is being drawn from the english version of anubis)
combine nina/eddie/kt into one character. doesn’t matter of this character is male or female. it pulls us in faster as an audience (imo) if our main character (MC) is not a total blank slate like nina is at the top of the show. by having this american character come in with a connection to the school and general world of the story already (aka a father who is the headmaster), it means less time is spent on telling us exposition vs showing us. also if our MC comes in with a secret parent, it adds a second layer to why patricia is as suspicious of them as she is.
another character consolidation option would then be to have fabian not be into the MC, and actually have him be into joy. so while patricia is having her enemies to lovers moment with our MC, fabian perhaps doesn’t approve of her more aggressive method of searching for answers about joy, and teams up with the MC to get answers in a kinder way— motivated by the fact that he is also worried about joy.
revert to the original het huis anubis plot point of the cup of ankh/the grail NOT being broken up into pieces. that way it’s easier to reduce the number of clues necessary to build the cup, and also eliminates the necessity for a chosen one reveal at the end of the season.
cut down on the number of students in the house and/or combine them. it hurts me to say it, but for a show like anubis to fit into less than 15 episodes, the mick and mara subplot has simply got to go. since we’ve already combined nina/eddie/kt, however, we have plenty of familial drama that can take it’s place and actually get more development (especially if there was another season of this adaptation)
i’m sure there’s other stuff i could come up with, but the bottom line is, there’s no way to really cut up the plot of this show in a way that doesn’t completely sacrifice everything that actually makes it good lol. this series simply wasn’t created with a streaming service style in mind and that’s why i’m so against a remake. it would feel hollow. but if anyone else has any ideas about this just for fun, lmk in the tags

Why do you dislike Luzy x Max? I do aswell lol.
Thanks for the question OP!
in short my reasons are:
- the distortion of Lucys characterisation
- Max misogynistic behavior (which can tbh said about most dha characters to be fair)
- the forced way their relationship starts
- Their lacking chemistry, for one due to Luzys obvious queerness (unintended by the writers but still undeniable), but imo even Charlotte and Max had better chemistry at some point
- general bad implementation of the romantic parallel Plot in S2, leading to unneccesary drama
Now I've got a LOT of thoughts about this, so here a further explanation:
- first of, I think Luzys characterisation got completly butchered for the story surrounding Max and Luzy. I know it has to do with the changes the dha adaption made from hha, but it makes zero sense to me that Luzy is suddenly so obsessed with finding love and then Kaya of all things. It doesn't seem true to her character in S1 at all. Also after the first few episodes she completley forgets about Linn which ist super weird, since she was pretty obsessed with her in S1
- Max is such a misogynistic piece of s*ht. Like don't get me wrong, I don't hate the character. His background ist pretty interesting and I like that they tried to include reaccurring characters that don't live in Haus Anubis in the age group of the cast. But to me, his weird comments about women give such a bad first Impression, I couldn't help but dislike him at first (And when I finally warmed up to him they decided to not only change the actors but also throw his characterisation over board lol) . Although I recognize, that his sexism isn't unrealistic for boys his age (and in general sadly) and might just be a reflection of sexist notions the writers have themselfes, I still hate that this wasn't adressed properly in the show .
The main reason for my dislike is however:
- To me it Just seems like Luzy tried to convince herself that she is in love with Max. This makes sense, as Luzy is convinced that she will find her true Love soon (and is in denial about her Attraction to Charlotte lol). Remember how disgusted Luzy was at the thought of Max being in love with her, after she dreams about him? Yeah that didn't make me think: wow they're made for each other. And how she couldn't imagine that Max didn't write the letters as a joke to make fun of her? Charlotte even admits herself that Luzy never gave Max a second thought before the letters.
The writers try to explain Luzys hesitance by impliying the the main reason she is turned off by the thought of her dating Max, is their age difference. While I think that is a legitimate reason, it feels like an excuse the writers use to delay their relationship for dramaticism, because the characters never show a care for way bigger age gaps (which is another can of worms that I won't open here)(see: Luzy herself is attracted to Benny, Herr Petkovic and Radus) and this reservation of Lucys is only talked about once or twice as far as I recall .
Also I feel like the circumstances under which Luzy confessed didn't really allow her to make her own choice. It was literally: tell Max you want to date him or he'll leave forever. Afterwards Luzy is shown to be ashamed of their relationship and even though I like the talk they have about it afterwards, I still think that isn't a sign of a healthy relationship. This furthers my belief that Luzy is just convincing herself that she is in love with Max, because he is the only boy that is showing sincere interest in her, disregarding that all of her emotianlly intimate relationship have been with girls in the past. This is typical behavior in a heteronormative society and reflects not only the fictional world dha plays in, but also the real world of the writers which the show is a product of.
Especially at the beginning of their relationship it seems like Max feels more for Luzy, than she does for him. The scene in the Restaurant where Max draws and compliments her, Luzy is just flattered but doesn't compliment Max in any way.
I think that Luzy is in love with the Idea of being in a relationship, instead of being in love with Max.
- Overall the relationship suffers from dhas need too always include a romantic plotline aditionally to the mystery. (Which can also be said about the other canon couples, but imo especially applies to Luzy x Max)
It's like the writers tried to delay them getting together so much, that it just ended up seeming like they weren't a good match for each other. Instead the show could have used more time to flesh out Charlottes and Kayas relationship instead of omitting how exactly their kiss at the season finale came to be. (Or just let Luzy and Charlotte get together but I know that would never happen 😭)
- now the chemistry. It's tbh not the worst, as I think Ninas and Daniels actors fail even more so at conveying that, but other characters' chemistry is just a lot better. Max and Charlotte talk way more with each other than Luzy and Max do and with their development from a relationship purely for their respective own advantage, to a friendship where they genuinely want the other to suceed and be happy, felt more natural than anything that has happened between Max and Luzy. Max & Charlotte and especially Charlotte & Luzy have more scenes of emotional vulnerabilty with each other, which I believe ist a big reason why they seem to have more chemistry.
(I also think that is where Magnus x Mara suceeds and other canon couples fail: regularly talking about their feelings, not just the feelings concerning their relationship. Many relationships that aren't canon like Luzy x Charlotte or Nina x Deliah show the characters comforting each other, telling each other secrets, casual physical touch and generally being open and understanding with each other, which the real couples just don't do to the same extent)
Also maybe that's just me, but many scenes between Luzy and Max seem kinda akward to me? Like they just don't know how to act around each other.
- also COMMUNICATION! It went well in the end, but it seems like a stupid thing to do, not to tell your girlfriend, that your father is the goddamn headmaster?? (Although I love the scenes with Luzy and Altrichter) This ist exactly the stuff you should tell your Partner.
Now some general things that irk me about the whole romance Plot in S2 which play a big part in why I dislike LuzyxMax:
- although the same can be said about Kaya, Max and Charlotte, I think it's especially weird that Luzy isn't involved in Sibuna at all in Season 2 once the romance side story starts, even tho she played an important part before. It seems unrealistic, that she isn't interested in what is happening around Sibuna all of a sudden (she does again in S3 but that's way later). Also, generally I think that from a storytelling perspective, it is a waste of characters to just involve them in a Love Plot and don't give them any other defining character moments.
- I dislike, that the love plot ist completley Independent from the main storyline. That simply seems like bad writing to me and a cheap way of avoiding to think about, how all characters can be incorporated into the story. To me, the whole love side plot in S2 seems really forced and they made it so unecessarily dramatic (thats a general dha issue tho). I especially hated how the finale was split between the pretty dark and suspenseful story around the grail and the Amusement Park scenes (even thought all of them are Comedy gold). The Amusement Park seems like a desperate attempt to somehow tie up all the storylines that were brought up during the season and therefore seems kind of rushed. I think this robbed the finale with Raven of a lot of suspense.
You get the gist 😅.
I don't think Max x Luzy is horrendous. Imo they have some cute moments, but their relationship feels forced and isn't made to last. I would prefer both characters in different relationships or single. However, a big reason for that is not inherent to this couple specifically, but to the concept and writing style of dha that depends heavily on relationship drama, which especially Luzy, Max, Charlotte and Kaya are victims of in S2.

It's interesting that you give Fabian a dead father. In my remake idea, that's part of his backstory as well. There are some differences, but that's spoilery and I really would like to see it made, so I'm keeping the details to myself.
In fact, in my version, I explore his and Nina's backgrounds a lot more (mainly because on rewatches of S1 and 2 of HOA I've noticed how underdeveloped they are from a character standpoint at different points).
I pretty much have plans to explore each character in more detail, particularly around midseason. It starts during the time when Patricia's been kidnapped, but I'm replacing the school play for something that's a bit more emotional (parents visiting day). I'm also looking to adapt a darker iteration of it that includes elements from HOA and some stories that weren't adapted from HHA (i.e. the Joyce/Mick relationship and maybe even a variation of the Jimmy story mixed in with a bit of Eddie's story with Patricia, albeit with a sadder outcome).
In my version, the parents and their relationships with their kids sort of will help set up the seeds of my version of S3 (which only keeps the RFS being alive, the descendants, and the concept of Ammitt, but the roles each character plays are different and the execution is different because I'm not doing the Sinners plot because I feel the characters involved were sort of cornered storywise that season). It's mostly gonna be setting up the descendants plot. I don't have a complete sense of how things will go beyond the fact that the Tears of Gold do factor into it and the keys that KT had (though her character has been replaced by someone who homages both her and Eddie, but their character is more tied to Nina and Fabian, maybe Mara instead of Nina depending on if Nina stays that long, as I know I'm making Mara the Osarian as a sort of reverse homage to HHA and DHA).
gonna respond at length under the cut below because i do have. thoughts. i'm assuming because you sent this as an ask instead of making your own post that you're seeking feedback on this? lol
(fwiw i appreciate getting random asks like this a lot so my takes aren't meant to be discouraging! always the biggest advocate of Go Do The Damn Thing re: writing and you sound very passionate about this idea and tbh you have enough to just start, my comments notwithstanding, so GO DO IT !!!)
also another disclaimer up front that i've only seen the first season of HHA over a year ago now and not a scrap of DHA so i can't really speak to those comparisons/content? but one day... i will
so i'm just gonna flat out disagree on nina and fabian being underdeveloped in s1/2 because i'm the Nina And Fabian Are Not Boring Because They're Insane, Always Have Been (Especially When They Seem 'Normal'), And Are Lowkey The Most Toxic (Affectionate) Couple In The House blog. with several posts on this topic. and 70k+ of posted and unposted fanfiction revolving around that. this is my entire brand at this point.
i won't belabor that point with an unsolicited and detailed rebuttal because it's not the main focus here and i will get lost in the weeds, but if you want my thoughts in the context of what you're proposing here send me another ask (or if you're comfy off-anon and don't want it public then shoot me a dm?) and i got you. otherwise i may just make a more general post later myself lol
re: parents visiting day, not gonna lie, idk why you'd remove the play entirely to do that. seems like a bit of a waste of arguably the best arc of s1 outside of the finale and a very key moment for several plot threads overlapping/interacting with one another, as well as just...not being mutually exclusive with what you're proposing? at least of what you've described. a dedicated parents visiting day may enhance certain things (joy's appearance would be more interesting, possibly some stuff with patricia) and leave others neutral/very similar with a chance of slightly higher-feeling stakes at most (mick/mara stuff tbqh) but would make the absolute best and most important/essential to the movement of the season elements of the play plotline very very very hard to implement. specifically, you'd have to find a replacement or alternative means of delivering the whole hamlet bit they pull on the society (including all of the exposition it serves and the short time limit/high stakes it imparts to the stealing-back-the-ankh-pieces bit), so maybe i'm just a shakespeare nerd, but that alone makes it not worth it to scrap imo.
also have to mention that the original play plotline does do a lot of work to set up many characters' relationships with their parents (and also how that relates to their explicit or implied class status). easy examples off the top of my head: mara's remark about her parents always sending a card late (and not showing up), jerome's comment back that she's lucky to even get that lol, alfie feeling pressure to stay 'dressed smart' in his uniform, and frankly, other characters besides jerome not talking about their parents coming at all is characterization. (especially when we know that patricia's relationship with her parents is very hostile and dismissive from the phone call she has with her mom about joy from before the play plotline, which would obviously explain why they aren't there.) and frankly. we don't need an entire plotline to tell us more about this. imo. it's pretty clear and i don't really know what else you could do with this that doesn't feel like switching the focus of the story too much off of the mystery and interpersonal relationships between the characters we do have, and we have Plenty to balance lol.
the absence of detail, when implemented very deliberately, can tell you just as much (or more) about a character as the presence of it, and tbh that sort of "you have to put the effort in/trust the show/work with it to find the really cool subtext" quality that s1 has is one of my favorite things about it. so i personally wouldn't find adding a new plot beat on top of what's already extant there necessary at all — putting that aside, though, i can see how adding more explicit detail for more characters would be appealing, but at least imo, it's not something that requires a new scenario. sort of reinventing the wheel, especially when there's lots of space in the dialogue for additional references. (now if you really are married to this idea in full, i'd suggest doing it in s3, since a) there is literally a family visit day as a primary plot beat and b) the opportunities for a worthwhile conflict in that arena are at their peaks...)
re: your bits on season 3 though, i agree with you on the sinners as plot devices having a tendency to paint characters into corners! during my recent rewatch, i softened a bit on that stance, but fundamentally the mechanism there is a buildup to one of the best possible character moments each of the sinners could have (a test that they fail due to traits they've had all along/have managed poorly because a) they're teens b) in life threatening situations and c) that's the nature of a hubris plotline that's just what the conflict is and it's a feature not a bug lol) followed by what feels like a cartoonish and unsatisfying caricature of those very traits that were working so well before that. that being said...idk after my rewatch, i've sort of decided that season 3 just needs to be read very differently than s1 and s2. (and s1 and s2 need to be read differently from one another as well!)
what i mean by that is they're just. different genres of campy thrillers. s1 is a slow burn mystery-thriller with a cult aesthetic, s2 is an adventure-thriller that flirts with either indiana jones (more comedic/action-y stuff) or weirder stuff like zero escape (escape room-esque puzzles solved through wit with existential horror elements), and s3 is just straight up classic B-horror (think invasion of the body-snatchers, which they straight up homage/reference several times over). with that in mind, the sinners feel less like reductions/flattenings/insults to particular characters and more like the horror elements they're meant to be (and thus are tragic because you're robbed of those characters' true presence, and the further characterization of them is done through absence, as well, similar to my above point. the jerome and sinner!alfie conversation re: willow breakup is a great example of that.). i'm still not the hugest fan — see my sinner writeup on the two very small changes i'd personally make for further thoughts — so i can see why you'd be tempted to take them out, but it's really not a failure of writing quality on s3's part as much as a stylistic/tonal choice that's not your taste (if i may be so bold as to assume. lol. because that's what it is for me.)
also uh, not sure if i'm reading you right here, but if you're taking out KT and eddie entirely, you do you but this was the wrong blog to propose that on lol. i don't have any take on that past "no," but again, could be a taste thing there/i love them a lot. you'd have to really beef up your plans for patricia without eddie, and even though you're already making a lot of (potentially interesting sounding? not enough detail for me to make that call but you have me intrigued) changes to s3's base structure/point, a looooooooooot of s3 REQUIRES nina's absence to function on a very basic level. kt is no nina replacement because if she was, the season just...wouldn't work. but i'll save that for a follow up, same as the nina and fabian characterization thing lol.
mara osirian...hard to comment on with no details of what you'd do about it, so let me explain what i mean by that. i love switching around who the paragon and osirian are myself, but maybe unpop opinion idk, it really needs to be justified by novel directions for the plot to go as a direct cause-and-effect process re: the change/new and surprising character relationships and interactions/the (inevitably new) themes implied by that relationship for me to be interested, especially about changing who the osirian is (not because eddie NEEDS to be in s2, but because frankly, it could have easily been anyone with how late it's introduced, and ultimately it functions as deciding who the protag of s3 is. once you're already changing that much, s3 is going to be unrecognizable anyway, and thus needs more detail to justify why that person).
fwiw, nina and mara are FASCINATING as subtle mirrors of one another in characterization that literally NEVER interact directly, so her being nina's osirian has a LOOOOOOOOOT of potential on the face of it, but for that same reason, requires equal measure reasoning + fresh ideas for how they'd interact that aren't obvious in the canon material. (esp since mara's whole bit is not being involved in sibuna till TOR beacuse she'd throw off the dynamic/balance too much, at least imo.) not a reason not to try — in fact, this is the thing i REALLY think you should go for out of everything you've proposed here — but something to consider.
hope that wasn't too verbose! this was really fun to think over and respond to! i've written this up while on the train home so thank you for giving me an activity to make it fly by!!

are you still watching that show Marc and fereba play in?
what would you say are the differences to their dha characters?
No I'm not. I don't have any access to watch it right now anyways. And tbh I'm not interested. haha. I don't get the plot and I really don't feel like getting into it. It's kinda about figure skating and drama and etc... I only watched some scenes to know what characters they are playing a bit. I was curious.
Difference between Mara and Imani:
I would say that they dress differently. Mara mostly wears comfortable clothes. While Imani dresses up more and also seems to be more outgoing while Mara is more quiet.
Difference between Magnus and Kilian
Well from Season 1 they are probably quite similar. But Season 3 Magnus and Kilian are different. Eventhough this Kilian dude is supposed to be like 35 or something Magnus is alot more mature and reflected and at that point and has more morals. I would also say Magnus character is more complex and interesting imo. And is better written. ( Most of these shows are quite terribly written tbh. I do watch another one of these shows aswell. But I must admit the writing is terrible.)
The first scene of this Kilian dude is him being on the phone in the sauna with some woman while also flirting with another woman when he's supposed to work but he rather gets a massage. His character is quite embarrassing tbh. Like there is a difference between a 15 year old acting like that or a 35 year old. Therefore I can look past Magnus' behaviour alot more. Not only because of the age but we kind of get an explanation why he is like that, it's not an excuse ofc but it makes him more sympathetic.
This Kilian got in the show and wanted to sue his cousin. ( He's a lawyer. And he also speaks to random people on the street asking to represent them.) But then when he was about to lose he stopped. He convinced his other cousin to give the keys to the apartment of his cousin he wanted to sue because he allegedly wanted to apologise and put some flowers in there. But he just ate cornflakes and was chilling on her couch in his boxers. It later got revealed that he got fired from his old job because he slept with the wife of his boss. And he's homeless to I think.

i drive myself absolutely bananas, because the writing i'm most proud of? that i love even more than anything i've done for star wars (except maybe dha kar'ta) or any other fandom i've posted for in the decade and a half i've been writing? that i want to share more than anything? unfinished witcher fics. over 80,000 words spread over a few stories, not including the thousands of words of the quick notes/ideas i have for even more stories and i love them so much. but if i post them before they're finished i'm never gonna finish them, or at least that's what it feels like. i haven't worked on any of them in months, but have put dozens and dozens of hours into plotting and timeline-ing and researching. i want to share them and brag about them and collaborate on them, but also like. i'm definitely a star wars blogger. i follow like three witcher blogs and none of them are active anymore, and i don't particularly want to make a witcher blog. and the unfinished stories on my ao3 already give me so much anxiety
but it also just leaves me sittin here on my own vibrating out of my skin with no outlet
#delete later#cj rambles#i dunno y'all just#mutuals and long time followers know how much i love obi wan kenobi#now imagine i loved jaskier indescribably MORE than that#and i've made so many revisions of the beginnings n such when i've added or changed the lore or learned new things#so like ive also really fallen in love with making a work complete before posting so i don't have to retcon or just settle for old ideas#does that make sense?#but fuck i love these works of mine so much and sharing has been an intrinsic part of my writing and storytelling for so long that it's har#to keep it all to myself#but i have no fandom friends#blehh just really feelings the like toddler-level overhwelm of emotions about how much i love what i do and how i do it#but also hating how i do it

I know you're cautious if an HOA reboot happens at Netflix, but it could be a good thing with proper writing. Plus a darker tone in terms of the mystery (maybe the relationships slightly, as long as they don't make them sexual).
If a reboot happens they could fix things that HOA struggled with compared to HHA and DHA. This could include Fabian having more scenes outside of his relationship with Nina (write him more individually like his HHA and DHA counterparts, though this one mostly applies to his character in S1 since S2 gave him the plot with Jasper), give him a backstory regarding his never mentioned parents (at least in HOA), maybe have Mara get involved in the mystery like Noa in HHA, set up the descendants storyline from S1 along with RFS being cursed instead of a hastily written plothole that could've been fixed if they had made it a different Frobisher, etc.
I think it could really be good if done right.
I agree with all of these things. I’m just not confident they’ll do it right. In fact I’m almost certain they won’t. Like if I knew today that a bunch of people who really love and respect the show and know the characters from all 3 versions were sitting down to rewrite it, I’d be okay. But it would probably not be that, y’know?

KNOWING YOUR PARTNER WELL CAN POTENTIALLY MAKE WRITING TOGETHER A LOT EASIER. ( REPOST DO NOT REBLOG ! )
Well, this seems like a good way to close out the new year. xo
○ name: Fox
○ pronouns: She/Her (You can refer to me however you want, though.)
○ preference of communication: It depends, honestly... With some people I prefer Discord, with some it’s other ways. I’m kinda’ introverted communicating with anyone I’m not fairly close to.
○ name of muse(s): Oh man... Let’s see, there’s Ravus Nox Fleuret (this blog,) Lunafreya Nox Fleuret - @lunaedivine, Tate Langdon - @preparing-for-the-noble-war, Ardyn - @an-mallaithe , Margaery Tyrell - @thorned-soul , Chrissy Cunningham - @thechrissycunningham ; and my multi with a whole slew of others - @down-the-fox-den . My less actives are my OC, Amira Trae - @kindlingthedawn , Dorian Pavus - @fior-dha-fein and a couple side blogs.
○ platforms you’ve used: Uuuuh... Tumbles, Livejournal, Discord, Myspace, ICQ, etc... I’m old.
○ best experience: I found my best friend through Ravus. Seriously, I couldn’t imagine my life without @dragcnlxrd in it. We’re two completely different types of people, but it works for us. Ironically, Lysander and Ravus are also polar opposites, but the balance makes it work. I think her and I are the same.
○ rp pet peeves / dealbreakers: Drama, plain and simple. (I’m leaving Kay’s answer here.)
○ fluff, angst, or smut: I do love some good fluff. There’s so much shit in the world that sometimes it’s comforting to vicariously feel that content. That said, angst is also FUN sometimes. It’s enticing to explore every side of a character. As for smut, I do enjoy writing it from time to time, but it has to be chemistry-based and fall into plot. I don’t really enjoy writing lewd content just to do it. Maybe that’s my asexual arse showing.
○ plots or memes: Plots, if I have to choose. I like memes, but just as one-offs to explore interactions.
○ best time to write: Hmm. Late. Or early, you could say. I’m a night owls, so midnight to 4am ish. I can generally only write when interruptions are at a minimum; no outside noises, no phones ringing, etc.
○ are you like your muse(s): Well, let’s face it, most anyone who has devoted themselves to a character for an exceptionally long time ends up incorporating a few of their own traits and quirks into their muse. Of course we try to write out their quirks and behaviours, but sometimes it’s nice to add in something we can relate to. For example, Ravus shares my dislike of sweets, unless it involves fresh fruits (especially strawberries,) something I actually didn’t know was canon until later years. We also both love cats, which interestingly seems to be a fanon takeaway on him. Ardyn... We both loathe society and social constructs, plus we have many theological beliefs. Lunafreya... We’re both empathetic pushovers with intrigue in holistic well-being. I haven’t really hashed out many other similarities with my other muses, yet. Or, if I did, it would be more an essay than a questionnaire meme.
