Everyone in the land knows Sid, even if they say they don’t. After all, even the best and kindest lords need someone to get their hands dirty and that’s Sid’s best quality: he doesn’t mind being the person in the dirt (for the right price, of course). He’s a hard ally to win outright, and no one’s ever quite sure if he has morals, or what his own personal goals are.

I only ever have disconnected thoughts and headcanons so here’s some stream of consciousness under the cut:

he always wears gloves because of a traumatic event from his past but also to keep his physical hands clean of all the terrible things he does. “Kit, doesn’t that sound a LOT like Kaz Brekker?” you might say. To that I say... Shhhhhhhhhhhh.

In the novel, he’s of course quite a flirt. Every novel needs a morally grey bad boy, right? Especially one that... can help take the villain down for their own dubious reasons????

There was probably a moment with the gloves that made people go WILD but of course he cannot be with Annabelle. He is too Terrible. He will simply support her from the shadows.

Word of God from the author is that he too loved Annabelle, making everyone’s crackfics perfectly valid.

He lives by Knowledge is Power, and also chases down ancient myths and magics in the hopes of righting the wrongs in his backstory.

I don’t have any other thoughts on his backstory 😔 He’s probably a bastard of a lord himself. Sure hope he doesn’t end of in control of that guy’s lands!

Knight and secondary love interest for Annabelle

Kellam Darby is from a minor noble family in the countryside. He came to capital at a young age to train as a knight and raise the status of his family. Unfortunately it has not been easy. Many of the noble families in the capital looked down on him for his meager origins, and his great successes as a knight only made them angrier at him. He’s now known as one of the kingdom’s most promising knights - although his strength is no where near Prince Caledfwlch’s. His accomplishments, along with his good looks, have attracted the attention of many young ladies and the disapproval of their parents. He felt stuck in their pretentious place, until he met a young lady that was different from the rest...

In the novel, Kellam was a secondary love interest for Annabelle. Since she came from a minor noble family like himself, he felt like he could relate to her more and the two formed a fast friendship. Over the course of the novel, his feelings grew for her into love - however between his minor beginnings and his basic coloring, no one ever expected him to have a chance with her and ultimately she did end up choosing the crown prince.

His ending in the novel is bittersweet. After Annabelle discovers the crimes of Prince Caledfwlch, it took the kingdom’s best knights to capture and subdue him. Kellam did not make it out unscathed from the encounter and would have scars from it, including one across his face.

In his last scene, Annabelle is visiting him in the infirmary. She’s upset that he’s hurt but he tells her it’s alright. He then goes on to promise her that he will always be there to protect her and her love and the family they will create together. Realizing that his devotion is beyond that of a simple friendship, Annabelle opens her mouth to ask if he loves her - but ends up swallowing her words. She realizes that his answer will not change anything and only bring the two of them pain. Instead, she smiles tearfully and thanks him.

As many as you like! But second submissions will be given lower priority over people's first submissions. I will make an exception if someone makes a set of twins or siblings, possibly, but priority will be given to everyone's first submission until August, and then everyone else will be considered in order of priority of submission, so seconds will be considered before thirds and so on. So if someone does make twins/siblings, please indicate who you'd like to consider your "first" submission or if you'd rather leave it up to me. Unless I get like, 40+ submissions though this priority thing probably won't matter.

Hi, everyone! I decided to do an Isekai of my own! Introducing Prince Caledfwlch "Cal" Miradon! Bastard son of the King with a palace maid. From "Angel From Above", Cal's story is one of desperation, not evil. In a bid to protect his mother, he was determined to earn the throne, at any cost. In the novel this caused him to bully his younger brother, Crown Prince Durendal, and the protagonist Annabelle Angel when she turns up.

Being an Otome Protagonist, she had a natural charm and charisma that drew every eligible bachelor into her orbit. She was quick to see through the more militant-minded brother's schemes and attacks, and as a result, Cal was eventually executed for his crimes and Annabelle marries Durendal. Except Cal remembers being one Caleb Leary, former amateur heavyweight boxer. After a particularly bad fight, he read the novel "Angel From Above" to try and stay awake, his own abusive past causing him to relate more to Caledfwlch than the protagonists, having also once been desperate to protect his mother.

When he woke up as Cal, he knew he had to try and change things, but already 20 and the start of the novel looming, just a personality change is not enough to change the course of things now...He's going to need allies, and he's going to have to be smart.

I'm looking for the secondary male love interests formerly for Annabelle, and any other side characters from an Otome Isekai you want to make! This is going to be very story-focused. What's the story? Don't know the details yet but we'll get there. Feel free to toss ideas or ask for ideas! This is still loosey-goosey but I do plan to do it! Gameplay will influence some of the relationships as I go.
