Denver Broncos Game 15
Hawk Valley
Quick Review
The Broncos failed to score in the first quarter and fell to the Chiefs 3-23.
That was the last road game of the season for the Broncos. Their road record for 2019 stands at 2-6. Flacco won 25% of his road games, Allen won none, Lock won 50% of them.

As expected, Drew Lock iced up against a good team in the snow. That one game dropped the his offensive average by a whole 10 points. The Broncos offense under Lock sunk 14 spots in the rankings… which is more consistent with the 2019 Denver Broncos. Ouch!
After 8 games with Flacco, the Bronco's offense ranked 28th. After Allen's 3 games the offense jumped up two spots to 26th best. Then Lock came along and he raised the offensive ranking into the top 10. Andy Reid from Kansas City didn't like that, so he shut down the Bronco's offense. After the game he smiled as he watched Denver's ranking exit the top ten and plummet all the way down to 22nd place.

During the Week
After the game Von Miller questioned the ability of the Denver Broncos to field a good team during the remainder of his football career. Local media had fun with this.
A few people claim that Andy Reid talked to Justin Simmons after the game. If so it just highlights the fact that Kansas City has a plan and a direction while the Broncos keep hoping for the best.
Von Miller was elected to the Pro Bowl later in the week. This is probably embarrassing for him, since he’s having one of his worst seasons ever, but getting voted into the pro bowl comes with financial bonuses, so there’s that. Local media asked the question, ‘should fans be allowed to vote for the pro bowl?’. Von’s a pro bowler this season in the same way that Joe Flacco is an elite quarterback and Eli Manning is a super bowl MVP.
On Friday, the Broncos announced they had been hit by the flu bug.

Outlook
On paper, the Detroit Lions look a lot better than their record. I’m guessing their offense tanked after they lost their starting quarterback. I don’t hear much about the Lions, so I don’t know. I do know they acquired former Bronco Kyle Sloter at the end of November so, I hope he plays in the game.
The Broncos are treating this game like it’s a guaranteed victory for them, but fans that are paying attention to this season will tell you, Vic Fangio has yet to win a game against his former division, the NFC north.
Maybe Vic can get victory number one against his former division on Sunday… the Broncos are 3-3 at home.
There are two remaining games this season, both are at home.

Pointing out teams that have a winning percentage of less than or equal to 50 percent is great and all but how does that rank in the NFL overall? Good question, so I've decided to include the top three teams in each conference for comparison.

Broncos now 3-0 on the season! Another game where things didn't go as good or smooth as they could of, but it's another win and we'll take it. "Hello! You play to win the game!" :p The defense continues to shine and is the key to these wins. Bruton with the Int late when we were only up 5. The offensive had it's moments. Big Peyton to Thomas Td. Sanders with the big catch late. But also a couple bad turnovers they gotta learn from. It's early, plenty of time to get things in order and in the meantime 3-0 :) #Broncos #DenVsDet #BroncosCountry #OrangeCrush #LetsGoBroncos

Regular Season Game 13
Hawk Valley
Denver Broncos Regular Season Game 13 December 12, 2021
Quick Review
The Denver Broncos lost to the Chiefs 22-9 and played better than expected, but not great. Teddy didn't do himself any favors and when Russell Wilson announced he wouldn't mind playing for the Broncos next season, the media ran wild with the story.

Outlook
The Broncos will honor former Bronco Demaryius Thomas who died this week at the age of 33.
The Lions almost beat several teams the Broncos lost to. For example, the Ravens had to set an NFL record to beat the Lions as time expired. The Lions tied the Steelers, a team Denver lost to. People think this will be an easy win for Denver, but the game might be closer than people expect.
The magic number for the Broncos continues to be 17 points. If the opponent scores 17 points or more, they will beat the Broncos. Oddly enough, the Detroit Lions are averaging 17 points per game this season. Luckily for the Broncos, their offense has only preformed above average six times this season and those games were early in the year. Their offense has scored above average only twice in their last six games.
