A healthy relationship requires compromises and sometimes some sacrifices. Like when you marry a deranged robot who loves to rest his head in the lap of your arch nemesis, and insists on bringing you along to snuggle like a teddy bear for those sessions. Sometimes you just gotta let that happen, to make your robot husband happy.

Having a bit too much fun with @dess1ne's Royal AU, and the magical concepts ever introduced and how our characters fit into all of it.

Lotte, Jens' younger sister, not only managed to hoist herself up to status of Queen after charming a prince and bide her time with his spot in the line of heritage, she's also going through some side effects from consuming a questionably obtained substance meant to cure her from weak health and ends up reigniting her youth and extending her life. Among other side effects, the more she meddles with the magic connection between the Fae Knights and their precious Mother Trees.

DISCLAIMER: Do not approach feral knights, even tamed they can be aggressive and unpredictable!

@dess1ne’s being a licensed idiot and just happen to luck out that the knight he decided to pet, decided they in fact enjoy scritchies so they let him live.

Some more fun with @dess1ne‘s Royal AU concepts now we got dryads added to the mix of fantasy creatures and exploring possibilities it brings.

Sho as a mage has a much longer lifespan than his partners, his husband Jens growing old and dying from old age, leaving the mage alone as rest of his family and loved ones die or puts  distance to him. One day as he explores the ever growing Fae Wilds, he  runs into a specimen of those new dryads observed the last few decades. Though this one has an oddly familiar face.

After all, Lotte, Jens' sister, is the first dryad and passes on her genes as more dryads appear, sharing a lot of traits from her or her family. Including one named Broder looking quite a bit like her long dead brother Jens. Shenanigans ensues.

Playing around with @dess1ne’s Royal AU fae knight concept! 

A breed of fae that hatches from magical and rare fruit, that starts as little squires with natural armour, that eventually grows up into big, looming knights ready to protect and serve a worthy charge. 

This new little squire is mine, named Samali. She has much to learn, to become a knight, but was taken in by a wild squad of knights, and has the best mentors and teachers to learn from.
