Probably the funniest thing about Cy's friends from their early crow shit if they had no idea their buddy was a Crow. Like, sure they wear all black and have a talon tattooed on the side of their head... But like, come on. This guy, an Antivan Crow? No way the Crows would take somebody like them.

I cannot wait for Cy to get back to Treviso and have to go to one for something related to a mission (they straightened out and went into the family business in the market) and they're like ?!?! Cyrion? Didn't you get kicked out of Treviso for fucking with a Crow? How are you not face down in a canal?

Cy: oh, pretty sure Viago wanted to do it, but poison is more his style. Not that it'd work, poison tolerance is a de Riva trademark for a reason.

And then it's like you know a head crow? After that it all just dissolves from there like yes. The idiot you used to get drunk with and fight beside was an Antivan Crow this entire time. Hell, they're probably the favorite of the 5th Talon and rumored successor to his position if the whispers are to be believed.

Also, even bigger surprise? This idiot was a mage this entire time. So they were punching even though they could electrocute people.
