This Pinnacle floor plan features a 13’4” wall, and we ran the outdoor kitchen the full length of that wall, talk about counter space! Counter space is an essential part of an outdoor kitchen if your ultimate goal is entertaining. You will need plenty of space for prepping and serving those buffet-style BBQ’s. As with all of our outdoor kitchens, we build them to last! The base is framed with aluminum and wrapped with a wet weather backer board. It’s All About Outdoor Entertainment Convenience with the Sealoc Outdoor-Rated TV

This 12’7″ outdoor kitchen was constructed in Corkscrew Shores in Estero, Florida. Corkscrew Shores is one of Estero’s newest and most exciting gated communities. Corkscrew Shores is not your traditional community. They have taken the conventional community concept and enhanced it to feel like your home is a vacation destination. Estero, conveniently located between Naples and Fort Myers, has become a leading destination in Southwest Florida for many Floridians.

The base is built with our tried and true method, by framing it with aluminum and wrapping it with a wet weather backer board. The facade is the Silver Travertine stacked stone. This stone is so popular amongst the Corkscrew Shores residents that we have nicknamed it the “Corkscrew Shores Special.” The color palate in the Silver Travertine stone and the Corkscrew Shores community could not gel together any better. The countertop & side/backsplash are level 1 New Caledonia granite. This New Caledonia was one of the original color choices for granite when it first got popular. And it is coming back in style with a vengeance in 2020! Like the Silver, Travertine stacked stone (and the color palette of homes in Corkscrew Shores), the New Caledonia is the perfect mix of black & brown color tones. This color choice is so eclectic and offers the homeowners tones of options with the décor they pair with the summer kitchen. The side/backsplash is 8″ in height. It is centered under the hood, and behind the grill, the backsplash rises to 36″ high for a width of 36″.

Under-mount sink with high-arc faucet: The sink we use most commonly has interior dimensions of 13” W x 16” D and comes to a total height of about 9”.

And to bring the enjoyment level up by an extra notch, we installed a 55” Samsung 4k Ultra High Def outdoor-rated television. The TVs we offer come with a nano seal technology provided by Sealoc. The nano seal technology protects from: extreme temperatures, high humidity, and salt air (especially important since we are within 50 miles of the coast). It is designed for areas under an awning or covered lanai.

Although this “summer” kitchen was built in the winter, in Southwest Florida it indeed can provide use and enjoyment all year long.

An Elegant Fireplace & Outdoor Kitchen

This outdoor kitchen/outdoor living is built in the Esplenade Country Club inside Naples. To describe the Esplenade Country Club in Naples, Florida, as beautiful is an understatement. This extraordinary, gated community offers a resort lifestyle experience. You will surely experience something incredible and amazing here! The Championship Golf Course, named as one of Golf Digest’s Best New Courses for 2014, was designed to enhance the overall ambiance of the community. This project was a fun one to watch come together. It started with the demo of an existing outdoor kitchen and ended with a new outdoor kitchen and outdoor fireplace! Talk about a total transformation! The L-shape outdoor kitchen the grill base is 9’6″in length. On the left side, it bends around and stretches out 8’3” from the back wall, giving it that classic L-shape. Like all of our outdoor kitchens, it was framed with aluminum, wrapped with a wet weather backer board and all exposed side were finished with the stacked stone façade. The countertop & side/backsplash are a level 3 Marinusgranite. The side and backsplash is 4″ in height. It is centered under the hood, and behind the grill, the backsplash rises to 36″ high for a width of 36″. We have found adding the 36” full backsplash behind the grill does a great job in reducing the maintenance caused by the smoke residue. The granite overhang off of the backside of the refrigerator cabinet is 6″ at the corners and arcs to 10″ at the center. This large overhang gives the homeowners lots of room for entertaining guests, and the arc yields a softer look to such a large slab of granite. The following components were installed in this summer kitchen, some of which came from the customer’s original outdoor kitchen:

The 60” linear outdoor fireplace was built with the following dimensions: 7’0″ Lx 4’0″ H x 2’2″ D. Just like our kitchens, the base was framed with aluminum and wrapped with a wet weather backer board. The façade and granite colors were the same as those used in the outdoor kitchen. We also used the stacked stone to create a chimney type look by installing the stacked stone as a backsplash for the width of the fireplace to ceiling height. We return to Cypress Walk by Neal Communities for this outdoor kitchen project. This project work-flow is typical, planning and scheduling the job prior to the customer closing on their home. Our schedule can be planned out weeks or sometimes even months in advance. Waiting to start the outdoor kitchen construction process, until after the home has been completed and closed on, is not ideal for customer’s that are looking to take advantage of our great weather and the SWFL lifestyle. By reserving a time slot for customer’s, we can always adjust the schedule accordingly should there be any delays that the customer may experience with the builder or the home buying process.

This client selected the popular Silver Travertine stacked stone for the the barbecue islands veneer finish. As you can see in the photos, this outdoor kitchen has two corners. We utilize corner pieces in all instances when the stone must wrap around the base. The Travertine corner pieces do cost a little more, but in our experience, we find that this finish looks far superior when compared to the mitered finish. The corner pieces allow for a seamless corner, rather than seeing that harsh line right down the edge. It gives the outdoor kitchen a more refined and professionally finished look, something we strive to achieve in every custom barbecue island we build.

We used the popular Silver Travertine stacked stone for the veneer siding, pairing it with a level 1 Ornamental granite used for the countertop. In the homes built by Neal Communities, here in the Florida region, the outdoor kitchen rough-in option features a wall that comes up about 8″-9″ above counter height. Most Neal customers are opting to have the backsplash come up to the lower part of the opening. The Neal rough-in option is quite airy and allows for excellent ventilation, without the need for a hood. These premeditated construction options are ideal, especially when it comes to getting what you want in a custom outdoor kitchen build. We applaud the Neal Community builders for these customized options.

Another nice feature about Neal homes is that they include the Natural Gas plumbing designed to flow to the outdoor kitchen area, saving the homeowner exponentially when it comes to building a barbecue island. This NG plumbing option has become a signature trait of Neal Communities. It’s incredibly convenient for customer’s that find changing propane tanks to be “a real pain in the gas.”

It gives the outdoor kitchen a more refined and professionally finished look, something we strive to achieve in every custom barbecue island we build.

We used the popular Silver Travertine stacked stone for the veneer siding, pairing it with a level 1 Ornamental granite used for the countertop. In the homes built by Neal Communities, here in the Florida region, the outdoor kitchen rough-in option features a wall that comes up about 8″-9″ above counter height. Most Neal customers are opting to have the backsplash come up to the lower part of the opening. The Neal rough-in option is quite airy and allows for excellent ventilation, without the need for a hood. These premeditated construction options are ideal, especially when it comes to getting what you want in a custom outdoor kitchen build. We applaud the Neal Community builders for these customized options.

Another nice feature about Neal homes is that they include the Natural Gas plumbing designed to flow to the outdoor kitchen area, saving the homeowner exponentially when it comes to building a barbecue island. This NG plumbing option has become a signature trait of Neal Communities. It’s incredibly convenient for customer’s that find changing propane tanks to be “a real pain in the gas.”

The Blaze components included in this beautiful custom outdoor kitchen by Elegant Outdoor Kitchens are the 32 inch, 4-burner Traditional Series grill with the 32″ double drawer/access door combination located underneath the grill. The 4.1 CU FT outdoor rated refrigerator with the included trim kit. There is also an 18″ single vertical door located underneath the Undermount Sink.

It has been said that the greatest form of flattery is a referral. While we are honored to have received so many referrals, we also view them as a responsibility to not be taken lightly. Consequently, we met this customer, as we have so many others, through a referral by a sales representative at Pelican Preserve.

This 10′ 8″ barbecue island packs a punch of streamlined functionality with the basic grill, sink, fridge components plus it had room for the pullout trash bin. The coloring is more traditional with the Golden White stacked stone and Blue Sapphire granite countertop & backsplash. The Blue Sapphire is an included level 1 granite. The customer opted to add the 36”W x 36”H backsplash behind the grill. The WCI outdoor kitchen rough-in option is airier than some offered by other builders; also, they do not come with the vent stack through the attic. The 36” square backsplash is something we typically see in outdoor living areas with a hood, however, those opting for low maintenance find the larger backsplash to be of value. This larger backsplash allows them to simply wipe off the smoke produced by the grill. The backsplash for the remainder of the kitchen and the side splashes are 6” high, just a couple inches taller than what we normally see.

The Blaze products that were installed were the 4.1 CU FT outdoor rated refrigerator with trim kit, the narrow trash pullout that houses a 42 qt. garbage bin, the 3-burner 34” Professional Series grill, a 32” double door underneath to provide access to the stored propane tank and a single vertical door beneath the under-mount sink. The high-arc faucet that we use has a detachable head and is magnetic so that it stays in place and does not sag.

Custom Outdoor Kitchen with a Built-in “Big Green Egg” Grill

We love this outdoor kitchen for so many reasons! This was our first Green Egg installation, though looking at the professional work and the attention to detail you would never know it. A lot of thought went into this outdoor kitchen in the design phase, from the thickness of the granite to the width of the stacked stone, figuring out the clearances and the height at which the base would need to sit took quite a bit of time.

We weren’t the only ones that put in the time to make it perfect. We met the homeowner at the granite yard twice, in search of that perfect granite which turned out to be an upgraded Wild Sea Green. Of all the granites we have installed, if we had to pick one that said Southwest Florida, this would be the one. It literally looks like it was cut from the sandy bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. It has swirls and pebbles and undulations. It was paired with the Silver Travertine stacked stone façade and the way that the colors complemented one another…again all we can say is perfection.

We used the Large Green Egg, a Bull outdoor rated refrigerator, under-mount sink with a high-arc faucet and a single access door.

Blaze 25 Inch 3-Burner Built-In Barbecue Grill

As they say good things come to those who wait. This was a small addition in the Verandah that took a little time. We were in contact with this homeowner over the course of several months and worked with them adjusting our schedule around the completion date of their lanai extension. After a couple of delays to make sure everything was just so, once they gave us the green light, we were able to start the project within two days. By reserving time in the schedule for them and pulling other customers forward, when this customer met unexpected delays, meant that this customer was never more than just a few days away from a start date with us. Once we started this project, we completed it in record time…9 calendar days.

The homeowner selected the Light Travertine stacked stone. The granite countertop and backsplash were a level 1 St. Cecilia Classic. They went with a backsplash that was just shy of three foot above counter height.

The Blaze components used in the kitchen were: Blaze 25″ 3-burner Built-in Grill, 25″ double access door, 5.2 CU FT refrigerator and trim kit.

This custom outdoor kitchen has some amazing colors, especially when it comes to the California Gold stacked stone. The California Gold stacked stone tends to lean towards hues such as gold, brown, black and an almost rust color. If you’re looking for dark and vibrant, the California Gold is the stone for you. It was paired up with the Uba Tuba granite countertop & 15”H backsplash.  These two materials go together like peas & carrots, totally complimenting each other in every way. It truly captures the essence of timeless aesthetic design & appeal. We sealed the California Gold stacked stone, which really brings out the detail and color in the material. Everything just looks better when it’s sealed.

Bull 30″ Angus 4-Burner Grill Head

The client opted for the faithful Bull Angus 30” Professional Built-in Grill. A Grill that truly lives up to its name. This 30” grill might be small but it packs a punch, like a Bull. It outputs a solid 75,000 BTU’s and is equipped with 4-Burners. It also comes with a rear infrared burner and a stainless-steel rotisserie motor. We also installed double access doors (below the grill) for easy access to the underside of the grill as well as great dry storage. We couldn’t forget about cold storage, so we installed a premium refrigerator. Finally, a single access door, sink & faucet, and a 36” vent hood to take care of the excess smoke that can build-up when grilling.
