Surely mister perfect dad-husband-lover Nanami babywears? I could see him in a big woven wrap, maybe one in the same pattern as his tie?

And once the baby is a toddler, tossing them on his back while they run errands about town?

Bonus: would Higuruma? I haven’t read the manga so I only really know of him and his traits via fandom…

Nanami Kento: He absolutely babywears 👏👏 I think he'd be into the reliability of a structured carrier myself, but would absolutely fall apart if Mrs.Nanami has one made with a bespoke, tie-matching pattern.

I think he'd also have a meticulously organised baby bag with snacks, outfit changes, medicine, etc. Truly, a prepared king. He finds it uniquely frustrating that most baby-change rooms are in women's only bathrooms.

I think he'd have a back carrier for a toddler, but he'd encourage them to walk as much as he could, wearing the carrier just in case. They'd get thrown on his back when he needs to carry stuff though. He'd check they're awake back there by doing the Reach Back and Offer Snack technique...if a little hand comes out to take the snack, they're awake 😌

He'd be talking to people while babywearing, his usual low, stern voice, and would randomly interject every now and then with his sweet dad voice to include the baby: "...so we intercepted the Curse on the second floor, and Ino managed to take it out. But you don't need to know about that, do you, sweetheart? No, nooooo. No scary monsters here, no there aren't..."

Talk too loudly by him while the baby's asleep on him, and you'll be met with a death glare, and a single, raised finger in threat; Mr.Nanami Kento, who can excuse murder, but draws the line at disturbing naps.

Higuruma Hiromi: While I HC Higuruma as child free by choice (I have written just one fic of Dad!Higuruma), I think he'd absolutely babywear through practicality, the guy's too busy to push a buggy. If he has to use a buggy one day, I picture him jogging this baby to daycare (because he's running late) while pushing this buggy. He drops his baby off, gives him a big kiss and hair ruffle...then runs back, because the baby's been holding onto his case notes for him, and he forgot them.

That baby would be his confidante; Higuruma would share case details and ask his baby's opinion ("...so the prosecution, think they've got the evidence they need, but they're clowns. They're clowns, aren't they? Aren't they darling? Yes they are..."), go to client meetings with the baby ("Look...I believe you, but my kid doesn't look convinced. Maybe try something more like..."), and use his baby as an excuse ("Ahhh I'm sorry, I can't make that client lunch actually? Why? Oh, me and my baby hate you I haven't got childcare for the afternoon, today.")

Higuruma's a big oral fixation guy, and a fidgeter (pen chewer, gavel twizzler, tie loosening...) and assumes his baby is too, so has a baby fiddle-clip for when he's babywearing (he likes a wrap sling-- he knows it looks sloppy, but he's a dexterous king and can tie one in 10 seconds flat). He may or may not have had a bespoke fiddle/teething clip made, with a little rubberised gavel on it for chewing.

He's one of those dads who feels sleepy when a baby naps on him. You'd find him, slumped back in his office chair, with a baby napping on his chest, while Hiromi snores away, head back and exhausted, a pen and paperwork still in his hand.

Mr.Haitch is a keen babywearer. I'm very into Strong Man Wears Baby as a thing 💀

AU!Jujutsu High Staff and Kids, who begin to receive lovingly handwritten Christmas Day invitations from Kento and you.

AU!Nanami Kento who brushes off any offers of compensation from those who accept his invitation- and everybody accepts. Just bring yourself, he insists.

AU!Nanami Kento who doesn't take a mission for weeks; he's far too busy making lists, ensuring everyone attending has gifts to open, making recipe and aesthetic Pinterest boards and sharing them with you. Your evenings are spent toe-to-toe on the sofa, feet affectionately rubbing against each other's, discussing recipes and decorations.

AU!Nanami Kento whose love for you only grows when you throw yourself wholeheartedly into making preparations with him. You take up crochet; Kento becomes a plant dad, keen for his home to look more homely.

AU!Nanami Kento who sets his alarm early on Christmas morning, only to find you've beaten him to it and are already in the kitchen. He can't resist sneaking up on you, and you shriek in a puff of flour when he picks you up from behind, spinning you and popping you up onto the counter, scarred face blowing raspberries into your chest as you hit at him with a wooden spoon.

AU!Nanami Kento who starts the Christmas playlist, spinning you round the living room for just one song; there's just so much to do.

AU!Nanami Kento who bakes the gingerbread and pastries while you prepare the dinner, flicking flour and potato peelings at each other as you sing along (badly) to Christmas music.

AU!Nanami Kento who has a momentary pang of anxiety about his scars and eye patch, before you hand him the ugliest Christmas jumper he's ever seen in his life. He looks at you in disgust, but his face breaks into a smile as you step out in your matching jumper.

AU!Nanami Kento who struggles weakly as you pin him against the wall, pulling his cardigan off him and replacing it with the jumper. He struggles a little harder when you replace his eyepatch with a Christmassy one.

AU!Nanami Kento who can barely reach the Christmas tree light switch, for all the presents stacked around it.

AU!Nanami Kento who is overjoyed when people begin pouring through the door, shedding coats and scarves, bearing gifts of food, drinks, and board games, with Inumaki bringing his whole carefully packed games console.

AU!Nanami Kento whose home is suddenly, overwhelmingly full of love, laughter and merriment, watching you ensure everyone has drinks and snacks while he finishes dinner. Being in the kitchen makes it easier to hide that he's tearing up a bit.

AU!Nanami Kento whose dining table ends up too small to hold all of the people, so it holds the food instead, and the people find perches on chairs, the floor, footstools, in a giant Christmas picnic.

AU!Nanami Kento who is too full-up to move...but never too full to thrash Inumaki and Yuuji at Mario Kart.

AU!Nanami Kento who gives Maki some more burn ointment and a short one-armed squeeze, while she and Yuuta warm up the mulled wine in the kitchen.

AU!Nanami Kento who is just so bad at charades.

AU!Nanami Kento who almost weeps with laughter watching you, Nobara and Megumi play Twister after too much to drink.

AU!Nanami Kento who has left mistletoe above an unreasonable amount of doorways, starting a drunken cheek-kissing competition between the party attendees. Takuma Ino is winning, ambushing all passers-by in the bathroom doorway, male or female.

AU!Nanami Kento who was, of course, happy for Yoshino Junpei to bring his mother too; she spends the evening smoking and laughing by a garden firepit with Shoko, while Junpei, Yuuji and the others begin an irresponsible arm wrestling competition.

AU!Maki who wipes the floor with everyone.

AU!Nanami Kento who spirits you away to a dark, quiet nook, peeking round the corner before pulling the cupboard door closed, kissing you deeply and sinking his fingers into your hair to the distant sounds of revelry, which might as well be a hundred miles away.

AU!Nanami Kento who, to his surprise, welcomes Satoru as a late attendee. There is a quiet exchange at the door, before Kento allows Satoru to pull him in for a hug. Just one. It's Christmas after all.

AU!Nanami Kento who must accept many more hugs before the night is over, everyone overjoyed by their gifts.

AU!Nanami Kento who chokes up a little bit when he opens his first present from you; a tie, identical to his leopard print one lost at Shibuya. Found it on eBay, you insist as he pulls it on over his Christmas jumper to applause.

AU!Nanami Kento who waves everyone home with you, snuggled beside him under one arm, until the house is finally quiet and still, the love still remaining in every nook, every cobweb, every scrap of wrapping paper.

AU!Nanami Kento who curls up on the sofa with you, warm and whole under a blanket, until the kisses get deeper and hands start wandering-- let's get to bed, he insists, discarding your Christmas jumpers on the floor.

AU!Nanami Kento who has finished off Christmas in the very best way (in his humble opinion); in between your legs, gazing at you in unadulterated adoration as you whisper your love to him in the lamplight.

AU!Nanami Kento who reaches over you into his bedside drawer, just before sleep washes over you; just one more gift, he hushes behind your ear, and your heart leaps into your throat as his fingers unfold in front of you, to reveal a single tiny square box.

What would a Kento Nanami do for his birthday? The possibilities are near endless my brain can’t contain it!

What say you, Mrs. Haitch?

So if he were alone, I think he'd start by calling up his parents, and his grandfather, who lives with Kento's parents and is an elderly, Danish man by this point. He taught Kento Danish as a child, and they sit and have a quiet little conversation while Kento makes himself a coffee. He knows he's privileged that his grandfather is still alive, in his eighties and generally poorly behaved not me headcanoning Kento's grandfather as one of the last remaining Witchers of Europe and having left it all behind for Kento's Japanese grandmother and so secretly it's where Kento got his Curse Sight from and I know there are plotholes in this and this is a Headcanon for another day but anyway

Kento doesn't dress up; he dresses down. All black. His comfiest black slim fit jeans, an old band t-shirt. He wishes he could wear a big heavy overcoat, a black one like he used to, but the weather is too warm, even early. His hair is mussed and soft. He heads out for breakfast, finding a favourite little bistro.

He tells nobody that it's his birthday. He's off work for other, boring reasons, according to everyone else. He sees another year pass, and wonders with an edge of melancholy, if this is the last birthday he will celebrate.

Taking a book with him, he enjoys a long, slow breakfast. He ensures he finishes that book, and walks a languid walk to a local bookshop, to buy the next.

He visits the market. Buys loads of fresh food, cheese and bread, olives. Fresh olive oil, infused with garlic and truffle. A cake he knows he will be too full up to eat.

He sleeps in late, and goes to bed early; but cannot sleep. The corest part of him wonders if he should see his birthday through until midnight. He wonders and wonders and gets up and goes for a snack. He wonders. If this year is the year he falls in love. If this year is the year he gets a cat, like he always wanted. He couldn't, he thinks. He's away too much. It isn't fair.

By the time he reaches midnight, he is steeped in red wine and camembert, and god, does he want to live. He wants to live more than anything, not work and work on the promise of living later.

It will be the Autumn, soon. After Halloween passes, he will hand in his notice.

His elderly grandfather misses him the most.

Except, that didn't happen. The boy with the pink hair who loves Kento so deeply arrived in time. Kento lived. His grandfather cried, stroking over Kento's burns with a clawed over hand.

The next year, Kento took Yuuji out for cake...to say thank you.

I would like to ask someone who is most passionate about Nanami. What do you think is the reason why Nanami wears those odd looking spectacles. In your opinion I mean. It can't just be rule of cool

This is actually answered in JJK; Nanami, like a lot of Jujutsu Sorcerers, wears something (glasses, etc) to cover his eyes, so Curses cannot tell they are being perceived. As Curses are more likely to be aggressive to those who see them, it reduces the natural disadvantage that Sorcerers face.

As a personal HC, I don't think Nanami needs glasses or contacts; probably 20/20 vision.

But, when he gets older (and by older, I mean 45-50+) he needs reading glasses.

I would let this man tear me to shreds.

Hi so I spent the better part of my Wednesday reading Infiltration. I really loved it and thank you for making it. I actually shared it with a friend to also read. I’m writing this ask because that’s probably the most I’ve read this year. I’ve been trying to get back into reading but my attention span just hasn’t been right, so I’ve been doing various things to get it back to a good place. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know your work has helped me reach a real milestone in my head and has made me feel like I’ll be able to pick up a book real soon. Thank you again for your work.

I'm honestly delighted that it's helped you to get into a good headspace. Sometimes a novel can seem really daunting, but a longer fic seems less intimidating. Thank you ever so much for enjoying Infiltration, it was great fun to write.

With how good some of the writing is on Tumblr, I really think you're spoilt for choice. Might I also recommend @delirious-donna 's "Your Best Friend's Brother" Nanami fic, another amazing 'forced proximity' series, which is reaching its exciting finale very soon!

@bunny584 is writing a Priest!Suguru series which is blowing my mind, and she also has a longer SatoSugu fic on AO3 which I'm going to read soon, but I think my vibrator will need to charge for about three weeks in advance.

@gojonanami has written the exquisite and very well loved (and for good reason) Professor Geto fic, which I think?? is finished. I've only had the time to read the first chapter but it was so wonderfully written, and I need need need the time to finish it, because I know I'm going to have my mind blown. I have absolute faith that I'm going to devour it while, and that you would too.

Also: don't beat yourself up. You haven't failed, by not reading a book in a while. Your time will come again. The fact is, you're reading and enjoying something and there's no shame in that.

Okay alright, these are quick fires so LET'S GO:

Ijichi: Apologises to the car, bows all the way to hospital.

Gojo: Car doesn't hit him. Car comes off much much worse. After casually checking on the passengers, leaves in a hurry. Urban legends start to float around about a tall blindfolded ghost who is legitimately untouchable.

Geto: Burns down their whole fucking village.

Toji: Brushes it off. Another one where the car comes off worse. It's an inconvenience picking bits of fender out of his hair, more than anything. Absolutely does not give a single shit about the inhabitants of the car.

Nanami: Seamless barrel roll over the bonnet and boot of the car, lands on his feet. Straightens his tie. Gently raps on the window of the car. First checks the passengers are alright, then gives a stern but well-meaning lecture on dangerous driving.

Ino: Sloppy, apologetic, really actually hurt but tries to brush it off like it's nothing. Goes to Nanami to see if Nanami will teach him how to get run over properly.

Yuuji: Takes a DEVASTATING BLOW...and just walks away. Fully laughing and good humoured but inexplicably missing a whole leg. Even more inexplicably, the passengers of the car see him walking round with two totally intact legs just the next day.

Megumi: MAHORAGA

Maki: Graceful barrel roll like Nanami. Lands on her feet. Bullies and berates the car until the car AND its passengers are crying.

Yuuta: Couldn't look any more tired, after scrambling to his feet and convincing Rika not to reduce the car to smithereens.

Sukuna: ARSON. 15,000 dead, nobody knows why, because the car didn't even touch him.

Hiromi: Barrel roll but not neat about it. Sloppy, sighing, angry rap on the window. Takes full insurance details, files a police report, insists on a court date because god knows he might actually win this one.

Choso: Unsure at first exactly what a car is. Accuses it of killing his brothers. Total car annihilation. Finds out the car WAS another brother (from a Curse Womb-vroom-vroom). Total emotional breakdown.

It’s midnight, I had chocolate and now I’ve got the zoomies. So i thought of subjecting you to the slew of questions in my mind—

1) First impressions— What was your first impression about Mr.Haitch. Like the first ever thought you had after your first interaction. Also your first impressions about some of your close moots here on tumblr. (For sillies could you also do me lol—I know we’re not moots or close for that matter but I’m curious abt the vibe I give off)

2) did you already have a tumblr account and like used it for reading before you started writing here? Or did you make a tumblr specifically for your writing? (What was your initial feeling when you saw people engaging with your stuff and liking it?)

3) if you were cursed to be a protagonist for the rest of your life, and to live it over and over, which genre would you want it to be?

Mr.Haitch-- mean, clever, quick, and I loved it. Other moots like @delirious-donna (dry, funny, sweet, drinking buddy vibes, unafraid of being dorky and owning it beautifully), and @musubi-sama (the "Kermit drinking tea" gif, dirty, vitriolic, kind), and @marikuchanxo (stronger than she gives herself credit for, adorkable, deserves the world), and @starsinmylatte (feral behind a cutesy mask, wicked, witchy). I made a Tumblr account nearly 11 years ago, but literally never used it! I managed to somehow remember my username and login, etc, and found my old Pseudowho account. Read fics on here from about August 2023 I think, before starting to write in October 2024. So I never started it with the intention of writing, no. I was amazed and am still amazed that I'm engaged with at all, and I feel profoundly privileged, so thank you. I've always been a social chameleon, so find interaction easy from person to person.

Which JJK character(s) do you relate yourself to?

I don't actually think I'm particularly like any of them.

Maki and Nobara definitely have my tough girl elements.

Nanami and I are both prone to self-denial for the promise of future happiness that we can only have once it's earned.

Higuruma and I both have profoundly absolutist views on justice, and what it means in modern society, and find ourselves unable to let something lie if it feels unjust.

Gojo and I both believe strongly in the importance of raising the next generation to break the curses of the older generations.

Really, JJK is an anime/manga where I feel very strongly that there are no characters who are like me, personality-wise!

mr. haitch and yourself remind me a lot of my parents, which is really sweet for me to see.

my dad is much more higuruma than nanami (big nose, self-depricating in humor and in general, strong sense of right and wrong, etc etc.) while you’re basically a UK-version of my mom, with better dialect (no offense to her, she just has a hard time with words and speaking her thoughts). and i love it a lot. WILDLY in love with each other, and its bore me into a hopeless romantic and seeking love of any shape everywhere i go.

i was wondering, what do you think of the idea that ‘love will find you when you stop looking for it’? do you find it to be true? i worry ive doomed myself for being too loving, in a sense. i dunno, i just like you and your husband’s way of talking about each other, its nostalgic candy.

To be honest, I don't think I have any strong beliefs over searching for love, Vs waiting for it. I've seen it work, and not working, in both forms. My closest friend in this country, who is 37, has had string after string of disappointing relationships with guys she's actively hunting for online.

I think the only advice I have is knowing yourself and maintaining high standards for yourself early on, so if someone does come along, you don't reduce yourself or your standards for the chance at 'romance', which fails fast if the person you're with doesn't treat you as you deserve.

Equally, there seems to be this pervasive thought amongst a lot of women that I know, that simply being present and willing is enough in a relationship, as if simply being a woman affords them special dispensation against trying to be the best version of themselves for their partner. This is only amongst my social circle, mind; I'm not sure how this is amongst others outside of my group.

I love that your parents are mad for each other. I think seeing healthy love in action is one of the lost important formative steps in seeking a happy relationship of your own.

I can't say I'm an expert on dating/relationships. I stumbled into mine and I'm still surprised that someone likes me.

i think i’ve been watching too much studio ghibli recently- I finished watching the cat returns last night and all I can think about is Nanami as baron and its lead me into assigning ghibli characters to jjk. megumi is haku and yuuji gives me markl vibes- but book!markl. howl is gojo. they’re both that specific type of dramatic while also being annoyingly exceptional. i can SEE him throwing a fit over his hair and pissing off a witch and getting himself cursed. wanting to have his name muddied so he doesn’t have to work but doing the job anyway just because he knows he should? gojo coded. tricking a demon into being his little servant? gojo. he’d definitely wear the cloak too- i can see it. i should lie down and stop rambling in your inbox.

No no please keep rambling, I enjoyed that a lot.

I sometimes think of INAPPROPRIATE CASTING for Ghibli movies.

Toji as Howl, where the warfare becomes progressively bloodier, and Sophie is just NOT his type.

Nanami as the HMK Scarecrow, avoiding every possible attempt to make him human again because fuck, he actually gets more of a break as a scarecrow.

Higuruma as the black cat (I forget his name) in Kiki's Delivery Service-- far too smart for his oen good, and Kiki gets nothing done as he keeps arguing.

HOWEVER, Gojo and Geto as Ponyo and Sousuke warms my heart. Geto pulls this little white, blue eyed fish from the ocean? My heart.

Hi Haitch. I typically don't send asks or interact too much because I very much like to lurk and watch within the shadows, like a rat in the wall. But, I just wanted to praise you for all the writing you've done, it's helped me get back into fueling that creative fire for fan content and has also been a source of inspiration too. You also helped me grow obsessed with Higuruma, all started from the 'Defending Your Honour' fic. Since then, I've grown to love your writing, especially the Nanami one where he fought the weird curse and the Panda penpal one. Oh and also where Nanami and Reader infiltrate a cult and ofc the enemies-to-lovers Higuruma fic🤭

I think the best thing about creating, is that art begets art, and its beauty transcends monetary value. It's why it's woefully neglected in the modern world, because capitalism seeks to determine the value of art based on how it can earn money from people, and as such, we don't reward artists with the means to live for having the bravery and talent to dare to make people happy.

As such, I'm always delighted to read that any art of any kind, has inspired another to create art. I'm really happy for you. I hope that whatever you're writing, you're enjoying writing it as much as I enjoy writing mine.

Okay so the thoughts have been stirring lately and I just wanted your professional opinion as one of the best nanami and higuruma writers but we often see asks as them being monsters and the reader getting down and dirty with them but how about a reverse case where the reader is a monster or had a cursed technique that altered or changed their physical appearance to give them some inhumane qualities/features do you think they'd judge the reader for it or no just wanted your opinion the matter on whether or not you could classify both of these fine gentlemen as monsterfuckers themselves if you can see it

Nanami: I actually suspect Nanami Kento wouldn't fall in love with a monster-trait Reader if they knew in advance that it was the case. While he's not intolerant, I can't shake the feeling that he would view it as somehow inappropriate.

If he fell in love with the reader beforehand, then found monster-traits, I think it would be dependant on whether or not these changes were temporary or permanent, and it would take a lot of consideration from Nanami. I see this as 50/50. I'm not convinced he'd be okay with it.

Not in any way intolerant, as said, I think he's a kind guy; but something in him would squirm as 'this is not right'. He is more susceptible than leaning towards agreeing with accepted societal norms of some variety, even though we know he is happy to call out the poisons of other societal norms.

Higuruma: I suspect he would consider the ethical implications of Monsterfucking™️ to a great extent. I think if Reader hides it from him while he was falling for them, he'd be more put off by the lies and dishonesty than he would by monster features.

While he'd be sympathetic to the reasons for hiding it, I suspect he wouldn't be able to forget historical dishonesty from a potential partner. I suspect he could be quite absolutist about this, and less forgiving of his lover lying to him, than a client.

That being said, if it was never hidden from him, I suspect he would be pretty flexible about it, and happy as long as the Reader shows themselves to be intelligent, thoughtful, and displaying an ethical and moral code that's in conjunction with his.

This man has a particular view on what makes a monster, and monstrous features would fall far down on the list, below various moral and ethical variables.

I say this with the idea of a Higuruma who has been entrenched in sorcerer society for a good length of time, in mind. I think Civilian!Higuruma would be significantly less likely to be okay with something which is inherently unfamiliar and monstrous to him.
