Wed - Smile Pretty Cure! - Ep 7-9

I'm abit behind now, so I'll make this one brief.

Ep 7, I repeat the parallels between Smile and 5 continue, however this time it was a great all round character ep, the team got to know a little more about each other and bond over their search for a base (no super rich girl cop out on this one) and the audience learn more about the characters via the destinations they kept choosing as base.

All in all, the tree just spits them out abase in the end thanks to a Decor but it's the journey not the destination it seems in this ep.

Ep 8 - I swear, it's like every ep has a Sonic Sez moment where it's just Miyuki being super sweet and understanding, seeing the error and going about in the nicest way of fixing it, with no pressure, whether it's her mistake or another.

Miyuki and Candy have a classic switcheroo and Cure Candy is born XD Candy as Miyuki actually failed, while Miyuki as Candy could still pull it off but no sign of personalisation or anything to ID its user? On the other hand, it was an amazing little battle, tiny Cure against tiny Akanbe and then she used her ears/hair to draw the heart because her arms are too small.

Ep 9 - I am surprised, an April Fool's day ep is rather unique and while I don't know much about the Oni story, maybe it's an east/west divide the Wolf would have made more sense as the villain this week because "The boy who cried Wolf" would have tied in nicely about how white lies can get out of hand.

Although, I wasn't expecting Yayoi to be our guilty party... it really is the quiet ones but the her reactions as her lie spiralled out and how quickly things just spiralled out of control, it was a funny ep with a good message at the end.

Although, now I'm disappointed with the endings which they put the effort into before. Surely this should have been a Peace ending and not a March one? It is a bit disappointing that they stopped putting thought into it after making all these niche little tweaks.
