All stars movie idea:

Big gathering of precure, big enemy. Enemy turns all the cures that were reformed villains or brainwashed back into those villains, or if the cure had defeated dark cures or dark cure equivalents, it turns them into them. A whole lot of cures are now in enemy mode and now the rest of the cures gotta deal.

Which leaves a stunning total of three teams unaffected (Grace went down bc Dariuzen was reformed- "he always was a parasite", and Dokidoki have to deal with Regina. Heartcatch aren't in mirage forms, but Dark Precure is back and that's their problem): Maho girls, Tropical Rouge, and Star Twinkle.

Maho is on damage control. La Mer is busy kicking ass, and Summer is trying to melt two frozen hearts and one angry dessert lion, and the other three are just as busy.

And the Star Twinkle girls come up with an terrible idea. As Cosmo wasn't transformed as she was never really a bad guy, they come up with the idea of making a fake villian cure in order to sneak into the villian's base and try and rescue some of the other transformed cures. With the help of Aiwan, and the reappearance of Bakenyan, Madoka becomes Luness, a moon princess with the power to turn people to stone. Ofc no-one can refute what she's saying, and they manage to hold the bit long enough to retrieve some of the cures, like Grace and Amour.

Other snippets:

Twilight back on her "You're not a princess," bullshit, and promptly getting her ass kicked by three princesses (Muse, Princess, and Majesty), before getting fish-slapped by future Queen mermaid Laura La Mer who is annoyed that Twilight is tormenting Cure Mermaid. (Twilight makes a comment about Laura not being a proper princess or queen too.)

Unlovely is back and is causing havoc, along with dark Cure Tender and Queen Mirage.

Michiru and Kaoru are back and bad

Preme is also back but doesn't seem to be inclined to fight

Heart, Peach, and Prism take their reverted Cures on one-on-one because they know they can get through to them.

Milky Rose actually gets to fight the yes5 dark cures in her cure form. She defeats dark Dream easily, but wavers at Dark Aqua

Cure Chocolate nearly gets taken out by weird chocolate kingdom Coco

Marine loses rock-paper-scissors-water to Bad End Peace. Gets zapped.

Black and White have had their hearts frozen again, and this time their sights are set on the rest of the precure. Who don't realise what happened at first. Heartcatch and Healin Good find out what's going on.

Michiru and Kaoru probably cause the biggest end game sort of problems out of all of them (them and Black and White), and everyone needs to pitch in to fight them at the end, and get through to the real enemy, some reformed form of darkness

Power of friendship, true hearts and precure to save the world

Preme doesn't really do anything but points out to the bbeg that this is kinda what the precure do, so there wasn't ever any point in fighting in the first place

Professor Sabaku/Hideak Tsukikage - Gray Tenrec/Brown Tenrec

The acting main villain in the series.

He is very mysterious, constantly keeping his face hidden beneath a mask.

Dark Pretty Cure - Dark Teal Tenrec

A mysterious woman who has powers very much like those of Pretty Cure, including her own Tact.

She was created by Professor Sabaku and resembles and acts like a Pretty Cure.

Kumojaki - Red Spider

The apparent leader of the three generals of the Desert Apostles.

Sabaku created Kumojaki by using the genes of a spider and the wilted Heart Flower of a young man aiming to become a professional martial artist.

Here’s my cosplay lineup for Mechacon 2018. I’m hoping to have all my stuff for my cosplays before the beginning of July..... Wish me luck!!!!

I remember you being asked if the Heartcatch Precure fought Ladybug and Cat Noir who would win?? You replied with i haven't finished the series, well now you've watched Heartcatch the question is re-asked Precure Vs Miraculous? Who would win?

Well, if the fight was to take away the other team’s transformation devices (Ladybug and Cat Noir’s Miraculous, and Cure Blossom and Cure Marine’s Heart Perfumes), and this is just my opinion, I’d give it to Blossom and Marine, but barely.

At their best, Ladybug and Cat Noir have a better partnership, are more skilled in combat, and their transformations are more durable, but Blossom and Marine outdo them in several other regards. They’ve been shown to be stronger and more agile, being able to easily punch giant monsters and jump incredibly high, and are boosted even further with the use of the Heart Seeds. They can fly with their capes, and their Floral Power Fortissimo rarely misses and can easily incapacitate their opponents. And that’s not even getting into the Heartcatch Mirage assuming they can use it on their own

Ladybug and Cat Noir’s endurance is what keeps this fight from getting one-sided. They’re known for being able to draw out an Akuma fight if necessary in order to find out their weakness, and given how strategic Ladybug can get with her Lucky Charm, there’s a chance she could outsmart Blossom and Marine. Unifying with the Dragon and Snake can help give Ladybug and Cat Noir more of a fighting chance respectively, unless Blossom and Marine found a way to stop Snake Noir from using Second Chance, though Dragonbug’s powers could keep Blossom and Marine on their toes. Ladybug could also use the Bee and to incapacitate one of the two if she needs to, or the Horse to get the drop on them as well.

But overall, I think Blossom and Marine have a greater arsenal than Ladybug and Cat Noir, especially with the Floral Power Fortissimo. But that’s just how a guy whose not that experienced at these kind of questions sees the situation.

Incredibly random Heartcatch Precure thoughts with Drops at 4AM after having read a liveblog of the thing:

what if Momoka was a Cure

Like she became Yuri’s initial partner when she first became a Cure, working together and shit

She would be Cure Midday, red, heat-related powers, flower as Cure is the wild rose, for further themeing with Yuri (originally considered wind but that’s too similar to Setsuna), outfit mirrored but not completely the same to Yuri’s

Attacks with Red Forte Wave obvs and has Midday Spark, Midday Blaze and Midday Illusion as her sub attacks

Her fairy partner would be named Parfum

They both fight Dark Cure and they both lose their partner, but while Yuri’s seed is fucked up Momoka’s remains intact (since Dark would still be mainly focused on Moonlight and not Midday), so she can still fight without much issue though it’s harder now, so used to fighting with partners

Once Tsubomi becomes a Cure she keeps her distance but does maintain some friendliness with her, and doesn’t reveal she’s Momoka mostly to appear more mysterious ala Milk

But then Erika becomes a Cure and Big Sister Instinct kicks in, and she’s opposed to the idea of her lil sis fighting monsters, not wanting her to get hurt like she did or worse, end like Yuri did

She does accept after a while and does reveal herself to both Erika and Tsubomi, and joins them in fighting since there’s strength in numbers

This makes her conflict a bit with Yuri, who’s still powerless and feels slight envy at how fast Momoka “replaced” her. Of course this tension carries for a while

As they have to deal with both two rookies and a veteran Cure, the Apostles get slightly more agressive when fighting with makes Potpourri be born earlier than intended to get a new Cure, and as such Itsuki becomes Sunshine far earlier than in canon, though with similar sequences of events. (say, like Episode 14 or so earlier)

Stuff escalates more and more and right around the moment the girls fight Coupe Yuri regains her confidence fully with Momoka’s help, and after a sudden apparition of Cologne and Parfum’s spirits Yuri’s seed is restored fully, becoming Moonlight again.

The girls then get 5 group attacks overall - Precure Floral Forte Explosion with Blossom, Marine and Midday; then Precure Summer Quartet Fortissimo when they get Sunshine; Blossom, Marine and Sunshine keep Precure Shining Fortissimo as “the current gen attack”; and when Moonlight joins they get Precure Quintet Symphony. Heartcatch Orchestra acts as the upgrade for this last one.

Also to go beyond and so Super Silhouette is not just used for the group attack everyone gets a Silhouette attack that acts as an upgraded finisher:

Blossom gets Precure Blossom Alla Marcia

Marine gets Precure Marine Allegretto

Sunshine gets Precure Sunshine Appassionato

Midday gets Precure Midday Agitato

Moonlight gets Precure Moonlight Adagietto

Everything else would be the same as canon except after Dune kills Yuri’s dad it’s not Tsubomi that makes Yuri come to her senses, but Momoka

Momoka also encourages her to be open with her mom because she deserves as much closure as her in the epilogue because god Heartcatch give the fucking woman a rest

oh also the Floral Power Fortissimo requires to be unlocked with a partner so for a bit Midday does it with Sunshine but once Moonlight comes back they return to their usual dynamics. Fortissimo can be used individually after unlocking it so Sunshine doesn’t have much problems with it

OH ALSO ALSO her fight with her mirage in the whole trial for the toy makeup stand she confronts her own feelings of selfishness and slight bits of survivor’s guilt, of how she mainly used her own sister and her friend to make herself feel better after losing Yuri at the start and how she has the occasional thought that she should have had to lose her powers and not Yuri that day in the Heart Tree

 A Brief Summary: Doctor Doom suffers another embarrassing defeat

Points of Interest:

·         The issue opens with Reed using his “electronic x-ray camera” with “radioactive film” in an attempt to learn more about Sue’s invisibility power.  Sue urges Reed to hurry as it’s “hot and stuffy” while “Torch keeps his flame on”.  Said Torch is acting as Reed’s lab assistant. Johnny is taking notes while engulfed in flames – except for his hands.  Between the causal use of “radioactive film” and Johnny walking around in flames, it’s a wonder the group lives long enough to battle Doom later on.

·         The FF’s signal flare appears in the sky. The trio attempts to exit the lab but the door is locked. Johnny decides to burn through the door but is stopped by Reed: “Trying to stop you from blowing us up, kid! Did you forget how sensitive that nuclear device is to heat?!” Johnny was completely engulfed in flames only four panels earlier and Reed didn’t seem to care but now it’s a no-go.

·         Is it safe to keep a nuclear device in the middle of New York City? Especially with Johnny and Ben living in the building. The duo engages in destructive rough-housing on a near-daily basis!

·         Reed attempts to stretch his arm to reach the Fantasti-Car so the trio can leave via the window but the strain proves too much. No worries, as Johnny has learned something new: “I can concentrate my flame so much that it burns without heat!” What?!

·         The trio escapes the lab. Reed decides “Let’s forget the Fantastic-Car. We can make better time without it!” Again, what? Johnny, maybe, but not the other two. And this is the era where Johnny randomly loses power due to “exhaustion”. Wouldn’t it make more sense for Johnny not to use his powers until the group has reached the scene of crisis? Especially when you have an awesome car-plane just waiting to be used?

·         The three head to the source of the flare. Sue causes a car crash with her “now you see me, now you don’t” routine. I never understood how Spider-Man was a “public menace” and the X-Men were “hated and feared” by the general public in comparison to the Fantastic Four in the early days of the Marvel Universe. Spider-Man mostly stopped criminals and the X-Men were isolated in Westchester County minding their own business…meanwhile the Four, in the heart of NYC, can barely go an issue without causing a mass panic or massive property damage…many times caused by Ben having a tantrum!

·         The source of the “emergency” is Ben wanting to show off the new statues Alicia has made of the team’s enemies. Sue protests the inclusion of Namor. Reed questions Sue over her feelings for Namor: “I thought we had an understanding.” Sue admits she’s not sure of her own feelings.

·         Johnny’s glad he’s “not old enough to have all those kinds of mushy problems”.  Karl Kessel’s “Human Torch” series contains pre-transformation flashbacks of Johnny flirting with girls. And he’s flirting with Valeria, Princess Pearla, and soon to be dating Dorrie Evans in the “Strange Tales” series. Perhaps Johnny’s referring to “serious” relationships?

·         Doctor Doom has returned to earth! And decides to storm Marvel Comics and terrorize Stan Lee & Jack Kirby with the sight of his unmasked face?!

·         Doom proclaims: “I do no blame you for shrinking from the sight of me! I still cannot bear to gaze upon my face myself! But I must remove my mask at times else I feel it will strangle me!”

·         Reed has the nerve to question Ben: “What makes you so bad tempered all the time?” Seriously, Reed?!

·         We have a fun moment of Johnny & Ben uniting to prank Reed by stretching his clothes.

·         Doom ambushes Reed. Victor explains he was rescued by the Ovoids, an alien race whose “science and culture were a million years ahead of ours”.  Doom learned many abilities from the Ovoids including the ability to switch bodies with another person. Victor promptly switches bodies with Reed.

·         The rest of the team arrives and subdues Doom (Reed). Ben and Johnny are very excited to have captured Doom (Reed) and devise ludicrous ways to imprison him. Not to worry, Reed (Doom) had devised a cell to contain him.

·         Kirby draws some extremely creepy “Evil Reed” facial expressions.

·         Back at the Baxter Building, the rest of the team is overrun by a herd of miniaturized animals: horses, bears, kangaroos, moose, elephants, cows, camels, zebras, birds, etc. The trio scramble to contain the animals and return them to Reed’s lab: “You know how angry he gets if anyone interferes with his work!”  

·         Reed (Doom) returns and the trio questions him – 1) Are these the animals stolen from the zoo and 2) Why are you shrinking animals?

·         Victor spins a story that this “reducing ray” will expand the team’s powers and allow Ben to transform at will. I know Reed is the scientist of the story but that explanation makes no sense. The team chooses not to press the matter of the animal theft and forced experimentation.

·         Doom (Reed) escapes from his cell and seeks the aid of Alicia Masters. Unfortunately for Reed, an invisible Sue was visiting Alicia and knocks him out.

·         Alicia is confused: “How can that be Doctor Doom? There’s an aura of goodness about him…of nobility!” Really, Alicia? You can sense that from an unconscious man in a suit of armor? I wish someone would establish Alicia had minor empathic abilities – otherwise, her “sensing” is ridiculous.

·         Johnny & Ben arrive to defeat “Doom”. Ben is furious that Alicia was threatened: “You tried to scare Alicia, did ya? Nothing can save ya from me now, ya miserable ghoul…I ain’t kidding now! He threatened Alicia! Do ya hear me? He dared to threaten Alicia!”

·         There’s a cute scene where the team takes Doom to the parked Fantasti-car only to discover a group of neighborhood kids palying in it.

·         Johnny and Ben suspect something is off with Reed & Doom so Johnny uses his powers to create a mirage to test their suspicions. I love Silver Age powers – always used in ways that make no sense with actual science.

·         Doom is found out, re-switches bodies with Reed, and shrunk to nothingness by his own reducing ray. The next time Doom achieves god-like powers he should erase everyone’s memories of his ridiculous Silver Age-shenanigans.

·         Issue #11 opens with a cute scene of the team encountering a group of children playing “Fantastic Four”. The team shows off their powers for the children. Johnny wisely reminds the kids “Throwing fireballs is easy for me, fella, but don’t you ever play with fire. It’s too dangerous for little kids.”

·         We meet Willie Lumpkin, the team’s mailman. He volunteers for the team: “I haven’t exactly got any super powers, but I can wiggle my ears real good.”

·         The team goes through their fan mail: Johnny receives love letters; Ben gets pranks from the Yancy Street Gang.

·         Reed has yet another cure for Ben who is understandably wary: “I’m sick of being a guinea pig for you! None of these things ever work right!” Ben takes the cure and transforms back into his human form. Ben, Reed, and Sue are ecstatic. A more cautious Johnny muses to himself: “Poor Ben! If he changes back to the Thing again, I don’t wanna be around to see it!”. Johnny decides to head to the garage to “fool around with my new TR-4!”

·         Reed and Ben recap their meeting in college. Ben was “State U’s football hot-shot”. Despite being polar opposites, “I was a millionaire’ son and he was from the wrong side of the tracks”, the duo quickly became best friends. Their friendship persisted throughout World War II. Ben was “a Marine fighter ace over Okinawa and Guadalcanal” and Reed was “behind the lines, working with the underground for the O.S.S.” The timeline of these events would put Reed and Ben in their late thirties at the time of their transformation into the Fantastic Four.

·         Due to the sliding timescale, the World War II bit has been retconned from Reed and Ben’s past. I think Ben’s time in the military is still part of his background – the era has simply changed. I’m not sure about Reed.

·         Sue had begun dating Reed before he left for the war: “It’s always been you, since we were kids together living next door to each other”. This would be retconned later – Sue and Reed wouldn’t meet until Reed was entering college.

·         Sue brushes off Reed’s devotion as the “shadow of the Sub-Mariner” lies between them. The whole Namor storyline could have been resolved much sooner if it was acceptable for comic book women, or women in general, were allowed to have lustful thoughts about men. Sue hasn’t spent enough time with Namor that didn’t involve threats to her, her family, or the human race in general. Poor Sue isn’t allowed to admit she appreciates Namor’s fabulous body in a tight, small speedo so the audience is left with her swooning over his “gentle”, “conflicted” nature. I love Namor but there has been nothing gentle or conflicted in his FF appearances. Execpt for the time he swam with the dolphins but Sue wasn’t there to witness it.

·         We get yet another recap of the infamous rocket flight. I understand the “every issue could be someone’s first” principle but were at issue #11 and it’s been recapped in half of the books.

·         Sue’s upset because a few pieces of mail state she “doesn’t contribute enough to the team”.

·         Reed defends Sue by saying Abraham Lincoln’s mother didn’t fight but she still contributed?! Kick him, Sue! Kick him!

·         Ben becomes overly excited and turns back into the Thing.

·         The boys surprise Sue with a birthday cake.

·         Impossible Man arrives on Earth, causing confusion and chaos in his wake. The Four battle Impossible Man in the Flamingo restaurant. He eventually becomes bored and leaves the planet. If you’ve seen the Impossible Man of the 2000s Fantastic Four cartoon, you’ve basically read this issue.

·         Johnny uses his powers to create “hypnotic rings” during the fight with the Impossible Man. You’ve got to love Silver Age powers!

·         Issue 12 begins a classic rivalry of the Marvel Universe: the Thing vs the Hulk.

·         Alicia and Ben are leaving a performance of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. Ben comments “I get my kicks from low-down New Orleans Jazz”.

·         The army pours into town and mistakes Thing for the Hulk, prompting a mistaken identity fight.

·         Ben is quite irate over being mistaken for the Hulk.

·         General Ross arrives at the Baxter Building. He wants the Four to locate the Hulk.

·         Ross shows a picture of the Hulk. Sue fades from sight: “The sight of that monster unnerved me so that I lost control of my visibility power!” Really? I don’t buy it. First, it’s only a picture and secondly, she lives with Ben and has battled Skrulls and monsters from Monster Island. It’s not like large creatures are a foreign concept to Sue.

·         Even Ben thinks its bull!

·         The boys show off, proudly proclaiming how he – and he personally – will capture the Hulk. Unfortunately for Johnny, flying around the small room a few times exhausts him flame. I appreciate the time it takes Johnny to master his abilities – it’s more realistic as opposed to the “instant mastery” route but two laps around the living room shouldn’t wipe him out as this point. He’s been the “Human Torch” for months as this point.

·         Reed praises Johnny’s skills as a mechanic: “That flame of his is one of our most potent weapons as well as his mechanical skill.  In fact, I’ll give you a little demonstration! Johnny has just finished modifying our Fantastic-Car!”

·         Johnny encourages Reed: “You tell him, Big Daddy!” In an alternate universe, Johnny married Reed Richards – was that his pet name for him?

·         The Four and the General head to the Southwest to search for the Hulk. The Four meet Bruce Banner and Rick Jones.

·         Reed has “long been an admirer” of Banner’s atomic research. Banner returns the praise: “I’m highly flattered that the most brilliant scientific brain of our time should say that to me”.

·         Johnny both shows-off for and pranks Rick. Neither are impressed with the other. Johnny: “Look at him green with envy! Trying hard not to admit he’s overwhelmed by me!” Rick: “He wouldn’t be so swell-headed if he knew I was the Hulk’s partner!”

·         Johnny tends to dial up the obnoxiousness and showboating when he’s with another teen hero: Spider-Man, Rick Jones, and later, Iceman. Possibly a combination of eagerness to impress/work with someone of his age group and a desire to be the best of said age group.

·         The army base’s saboteur “the Wrecker”, but not the Wrecker, kidnaps Rick Jones causing Bruce Banner to unleash the Hulk.

·         The Four and the Hulk meet up in a “deserted Western ghost town” and fight. Ben finds and frees Rick. Hulk flees the scene.

·         The Four prepare to leave the base. Reed hints to Bruce: “I’ve got a feeling there’s a lot we have to talk about – like you, and Rick, and the Hulk, for instance!”

I LOVE Final Fantasy games. My favorite ones are FF6, FF9 and FFXIII.

I started reading a lot of Queer romance books recently due to my Heartstopper addiction. YES, I love this Comic/Tv Show and I’m STARVING for sweet LGBT+ content after reading/watching it. 

I came out as gay 8 years ago and I had a rough start with my parents. After a long time, everything finally has calmed down and they understand me. They met my 5-years-long boyfriend last year and they love him a lot.

It’s quite funny, actually. I started roleplaying as a kid. I played Habbo Hotel A LOT and I usually played in rooms of roleplay (Naruto RP/Harry Potter RP/Pokemon RP) and I enjoyed a lot. I only started roleplaying in Tumblr after I discovered a RP Blog on the Precure tag and I decided to give it a chance. My first muse was Cure Marine. In that time, I wasn’t very confident about my portrayal of her (and in that time, there was another Cure Marine RP Tumblr that was SO MUCH BETTER THAN ME). After this, I started roleplaying Marmo (theselfishprincess) and started adding more villain muses afterwards (Queen Mirage/Hosshiwa/Mr. Shitataare/Queen Beryl/Arachnea). It was A LOT and I started feeling tired of roleplay. When Kira Kira Precure aired, I L-O-V-E-D Ciel/Cure Parfait and decided to come back to RP only roleplaying her. Recently I added Pikario/Bibury/Amane&Gentlu as my muses and I’m having quite a good time actually. Concluding, I have almost 9-10 years of RP experience here on Tumblr (it doesn’t mean I’m so confident about it, though xD). ALSO, I just started roleplaying in Brazilian Portuguese and it freaks me out to approach and interact with Brazilian roleplayers haha

She was once in love with Blue, but his feelings were not as strong because he had many duties as a deity and could not fall in love with a regular human, breaking her heart. She then became evil, rejecting all love and happiness in the world.

Phantom/Cure Unlovely/PhanPhan - Iwakuni White Snake/Dark Pink Sheep/Cure Chao (Dark Chao)

Is the elite general of the Phantom Empire.

He is courageous and unruffled and refers to himself as "The Pretty Cure Hunter."

He is incredibly loyal to Queen Mirage.

He defeated many Pretty Cures worldwide, including Cure Tender, Cure Fortune's elder sister.

When he purifyed it is revealed that he is the former fairy partner of Mirage named PhanPhan, who was brainwashed by Red and turned into Phantom.

A general of the Phantom Empire.

He is part of the Oresky Trio with Hosshiwa and Namakelder, serving as their leader.

Killing two birds with one stone as I review Doki Doki and Happiness Charge Precure!

I’m reviewing two seasons at once mainly because I don’t have too much to say about Doki Doki and well I thought I kill two birds with one stone by adding Happiness Charge. I know I was going to do these in order, but I really wanted to get Go Princess Precure reviewed and then review Mahou Tsukai Precure when it’s finally finished. After these reviews, I will presume the order. That and I still need to catch up on some seasons before reviewing them.

 At least by reviewing the seasons that are still fresh in my mind, I can get some stuff done at least. Also I feel it’s best to at least explain what I truly think of Mahou Tsukai now that it’s ending tomorrow (tonight if you’re in the west of the US) and both reviews, I’m going to be referring to these two seasons, so I felt it was important to do this. That and believe it or not, Doki Doki and Happiness Charge do have one thing in common with each other and that will be revealed at the end.

So without further a due, Doki Doki and Happiness Charge Precure. I’ll start off with Doki Doki. 

“The Trump Kingdom is a magical world where everyone's hearts live happily with the guidance of their ruler Princess Marie Ange. However one day, an evil force known as the Jikochu has attacked the Kingdom. But a warrior who served to Marie Ange, known as Cure Sword, fended the Jikochu by herself before being sent to the human world with her fairy partner to find the missing princess. 

Cure Sword also brought with her three other fairies who are to find three chosen girls to be her allies.One of the fairies, Sharuru, finds a girl named Mana Aida who is her school's student council president. Whilst visiting the Clover Tower's observatory during her school's orientation day, Mana encounters a Jikochu who attempts to manipulate her heart but being found by Sharuru as she gives her the power to become Cure Heart. Joined by Cure Diamond, Cure Rosetta, and Cure Sword, the DokiDoki Pretty Cure must fight to protect everyone's hearts from the Jikochu.”

Doki Doki is one of the seasons where fans have a mix bag but most lean towards well “Meh...” and that’s sorta what I feel about this season...”Meh...” It just really doesn’t stick out much in terms of Precure seasons. It doesn’t do anything new or different. The cures are pretty much the stereotypes of before. The yellow cure is cute and dainty, the purple cure is kinda stuck up but has reasons, the blue cure is supportive of the pink cure, who is optimistic and happy and loves helping people and everyone loves her.

I don’t even remember any of the names of the cures other than their cure names, other than Mana, not only because of the summary but also because people complain that she is a Mary Sue and I kinda agree. There’s not one thing interesting about her. In fact, she seems to be a copy of Love from Fresh Precure with Nozomi as style reference.  She’s just forgettable, just like the rest of them!

Then you have a surprising red cure with a very confusing story plot but has a bad ass transformation at least.... What about the bad guys? Yeah....they’re not any better and I don’t even bother remembering their individual names either. They have a lazy design and just the lazy villain stereotype personalities.

The series has some neat ideas, like I really like how the cures are based on card decks, like Cure Sword, Cure Rosetta (Shouldn’t she be called Cure Club though?), Cure Heart and Cure Diamond. I even took this idea to use in my fanfic/alternate story with Jhonen Vasqueze characters, as a magical girl/boy team and of course I like Cure Ace’s transformation and attacks.

Another thing, that’s fondly remember about this season is the songs. The songs, especially the ending themes are really catchy and the same people who worked on the songs will be returning for Kira Kira Precure A la Mode, so we’re sure to get some nice tunes at least.

Other than that, this is a bland boring season with a very overly confusing story line for Cure Ace and the red eye��d mean girl somehow being the same people..They’re like the Queen in different incarnations but...they somehow split. It’s just weird. Oh yeah, they have to take care of a baby...Hell this show...At least Chiffon was kinda cuter and Ha-chan grew up! 

There’s just hardly anything to remember or care about this series! It’s just so boring that not even what would be interesting, is not that interesting!

I remember when this series first came out, I’m like “Okay is it February again, because season is putting me to sleep!” 

So when the newer season came out finally, after being bored to death,(thank god as an adult I could get out more besides watching this...)  I was happy to accept the new season with open arms.

“The ruler of the evil Phantom Empire, Queen Mirage, begins her invasion on Earth using an army of Choiarks and powerful monsters called Saiarks. All across the world, Pretty Cures are dispatched to fight against the Phantom Empire threat. Hime Shirayuki, a princess from the Blue Sky Kingdom, which was taken over by the Phantom Empire, joins the fight as a Pretty Cure named Cure Princess, but always finds herself running away scared.

Given a Crystal of Love by the Spirit of Earth, Blue, and told to seek out a partner to fight alongside her, Hime goes to the city of Pikarigaoka  and randomly throws the crystal in the air, deciding to partner up with whoever it lands upon. This person turns out to be Megumi Aino, a kind-hearted girl always looking to help others, who is recruited by Hime to fight by her side as Cure Lovely. Using the power of the Pretty Cards and their changing forms, alongside Cure Honey and Cure Fortune, they form the Happiness Charge Pretty Cure team as they are given the task to collect all of the Pretty Cards and protect the Earth against the Phantom Empire.”

So do I like this season better? Well...Let’s put it short. You know how everyone’s been wanting Mahou Tsukai Precure to end because of how badly plotted and childish it is? Well that’s how I felt after watching Happiness Charge! Omg! Do I HATE this season!

This was the season that made me nearly want to quit watching Precure and for the most part, everyone felt the same way, until of course, Go Princess Precure came and saved the fans, that felt betrayed and insulted from Doki Doki and Happiness Charge!  Even after Mahou Tsukai, I still consider this series to be the worst, with Doki Doki just being bland and forgettable! This series is the insulting epitome of children’s anime. 

The characters range from bland to wanting to punch them in the mouth, with exception of one. You have Hime, who is basically a copy of Cure Marine/Erika except dull down to this winy, annoying girl. Cure Honey is once again the sweet, friendly supportive character that can sing and is talented. That’s it and while, I should like Cure Fortune, especially for hating Hime and wanting to get her sister back, I just find her another stuck up, bitchy purple cure. I like her design a little bit and she is pretty but again, not much to her other than the bitchy purple show off with personal reasons. I didn’t even care if she was reunited with her sister again. I wanted to be, since I have an older sister but again, I just couldn’t.

Megumi was the only character I find sorta decent and that’s mainly because she reminded me of Tsubomi/Cure Blossom, in which she’s kinda insecure of herself. She was an improvement because she wasn’t a Mary Sue, like Mana. She did have her own issues. Seiji was cute too but as cute as they can be, the love between them is about as interesting as watching paint dry.  I also like Cure Sunset and Cure Wave, aka The Aloha Precure!

See that would have been more interesting! Have Precure be set in Hawaii and Megumi could be a supporting character from Japan! I would have loved this and would have forgiven it! This would have been way more better and interesting! The sad thing is though, those two Hawaiian cures are basically Cure Melody and Cure Rhythm without her angry attitude. 

The rest of the series falls flatter than a pancake! The villains and some of the fight scenes are so childish! There’s one scene where Cure Honey and the girl villain (like hell I would remember her name!) sing an awful duet about eating food! I was astonish about how stupid that was! I couldn’t even comprehend what I just witnessed! Than you have a filled in plot regarding Hime having a crush on Seiji and yeah...It’s about as predicable as it can be. Seiji likes Megumi, blah blah blah! Really don’t care!

But the worst and I mean the worst part of this series is that Blue...Yeah, I’ll just up and say it. It’s all his fault! Right down to why the villains attack in the first place! It is his fault. The reason why the first main villain, Mirage attacked was because Blue didn’t return her feelings, at first because he was scared! The second main villain, Red, the younger brother of Blue attacked because stupid Blue, didn’t realized that his brother’s planet was destroyed! Blue ignored his brother who was upset and was calling for help and in the end, Blue did nothing! He didn’t even apologize to his brother or anything. He let Cure Lovely and the other cures fight for him, not doing a dang thing! Some God you are Blue! Actually both are at fault because, Red is supposedly strong enough to destroy a world and yet couldn’t destroy a freakin meteor that hit his planet!

Also heck with these lazy names! Someone bitched about how Mother Rapapa is a bad name. Calling your gods Blue and Red ain’t any better! That just sounds more trying to tie in with the Matrix series somehow and failing miserably, of course, because what does Matrix and cute magical girls have in common? Absolutely nothing!

Same with “Phantom Empire”. WTF? Were they trying to add Star Wars reference as well despite, it’s the same with Matrix. It has nothing to do with magical girls???

Not to mention but the power ups for the cures are awful! They look like little kids, that put on way too much make up, in ridiculous Easter egg colored costumes and once again, instead of a team effort to save the day in the end, it’s up to the lead cure to save everything. This series is just an insult! 

I dunno which is honestly worse? Doki Doki for being bland and forgettable or Happiness Charge for having mainly annoying characters you want to punch in both the stomach and the mouth, while having the plot be the fault of one of the supporting leads! Yeah, that one thing both series had in common, its all down to just being the worst two seasons of Precure! I’m serious when I say that these two seasons had a lot of fans wanting to leave the franchise and just quit.

Say what you will with Mahou Tsukai, but I’ll make a point in my review of it on why I like Mahou Tsukai, over these two series.

Over all, I rate both Doki Doki Precure and Happiness Charge Precure, 3 stars out of 10. With very few redeeming qualities, not so likable or memorable characters, stupid bland villains and for Happiness Charge, a plot that wouldn’t have happen if it weren’t for a certain character, these two series are without a doubt the WORST Precure Series ever made and the only recommendation I have for it, is if you like some catchy tunes or for maybe a few fight scenes here and there. Other than that, feel free to skip these two! You’re not missing much! Just go and watch Go Princess Precure or any other precure series! You’ll be happy you just did that....
