Nicola Guarino pioniere di una nuova forma d’arte cinematografica

Continua a far parlare di sé Nicola Guarino, il primo regista italiano a realizzare un corto interamente con l’ausilio dell’Intelligenza artificiale generativa. ‘Nelle fauci del tempo’, da lui prodotto con IndizIDiCinema, tratto dall’omonimo libro di Davide Pulici, collaborazione artistica di Fabiana Masciopinto, uscito su YouTube il 23 luglio 2023, ha posto le basi concettuali per l’elaborazione di una nuova forma d'arte. Nicola Guarino pioniere? Nell’ambito del prestigioso Reggio Film Festival 2023, ideato e diretto da Alessandro Scillitani, ha, infatti, partecipato sabato 11 novembre, presso il Teatro San Prospero di Reggio Emilia, al convegno Identità future, sull’Intelligenza artificiale generativa per il cinema del futuro, e domenica 12 novembre, nella stessa sede, all’Incontro tra esseri umani sul tema AI e creatività, a cura di Marco Zanichelli, ribadendo come il lavoro di ogni creativo non sia fatto di scorciatoie, ma di studio e dedizione continui, uniti a sana curiosità, intuizione e lungimiranza.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLW6qEY3lC8 Dopo la proiezione del corto, 4’08’’, particolarmente apprezzato da critica e pubblico, il film-maker napoletano, nel rimarcare il ruolo crescente dell'IA nell'arte e nelle nostre vite, ha descritto ‘Nelle fauci del tempo’ come una prima sperimentazione, estremamente emozionante, della narrazione del Cronovisore, che sarebbe stato inventato, negli anni 50, da Padre Pellegrino Ernetti, in Vaticano. Una macchina del tempo, appunto, legata ad ambiti immaginifici ed immaginari, che, sintonizzandosi sulle tracce energetiche lasciate da ogni essere umano nel corso della sua esistenza terrena, sarebbe stata in grado di produrre immagini dal passato, persino la passione di Gesù. Le sue parole Guarino ha sottolineato: "Nel mio processo creativo mi sono concentrato sui miei ricordi, il mio vissuto e i miei affetti. Ho pensato che il Cronovisore non potesse essere uno strumento preciso, perché la realtà muta continuamente e, anche se riuscissi ad individuare la traccia energetica del mio bisnonno, probabilmente solo per qualche secondo, vedrei un’evoluzione continua, nel tempo, nello spazio e nei vari mondi. Ho lavorato su questa sensazione, dando un prompt di comandi e inserendo foto di famiglia. Vista l’impostazione da cinema muto, ho usato solo cartelli di premessa e snodo, senza il sonoro, se non nella frase finale, per spezzare il sogno. Per restare nell’ambito strettamente cinematografico e creativo, credo che il risultato sia una sorta di surrealismo del 2024. Se gli artisti surrealisti accedono al loro inconscio in maniera continua e ne fanno materia di lavoro, sfuggendo alle meccaniche usuali del racconto, quando si usa l’IA, forse, si sta accedendo ad una sorta di inconscio collettivo, o, almeno, è una mia speranza. L’IA, per quello che riguarda la produzione cinematografica è una vera rivoluzione industriale, non possiamo opporci al progresso, che, come ogni rivoluzione, non può essere frenato". EL CUADERNO NAZI

Recientemente, un librero de Badalona, Marçal Font, adquirió un diario de un miembro de la Wehrmacht donde narraba sus campañas durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial en los países nórdicos. Lo más curioso es que el diario procedía de una casa en Sant Feliu de Guixols, en la Costa Brava, donde su autor, Günter Zeschke, había residido durante muchos años. Marçal y el reportero Ferrán Barber, empezaron a tirar del hilo y descubrieron que Zeschke se había convertido en un importante geólogo que prospectaba uranio y otros minerales radioactivos en todo el mundo. En Cataluña trabajó en las minas de Osor donde buscaba fluorita. Estas minas eran propriedad de miembros de la familia hispanoalemana Lipperheide, quienes tenían estrechas relaciones con el régimen nazi y el general Franco. El autor de un diario hallado formaba parte de una red nazi clandestina que ayudó a escapar de la justicia aliada a varios nazis que estuvieron de paso, o viviendo tranquilamente, en San Feliu de Guixols, como lo demuestran las investigaciones del historiador Francesc Bosch.

ALTA EXTRAÑEZA: LOS SEIS DEL ANTICRISTO

En julio del año 1990, una bizarra noticia era recogida por la prensa local de Gulf Breeze (EE.UU): “Seis soldados que habían desertado afirman que tenían como objetivo matar al Anticristo”. En efecto, seis soldados fueron acusados de deserción de su unidad de inteligencia en Alemania Occidental, según afirmó un portavoz del Pentágono. ¿Qué ocurrió? Se trata de una estrambótica historia que nos detallará el editor y sociólogo Pablo Vergel.

LOS MALDITOS: EL VIEJO TOPO

Sin embargo, no es un caso único. El periodista y escritor Juan Soto Ivars nos contará varios ejemplos de cómo alguien aparentemente afín a cierta ideología de pronto se vuelve proscrito.

EL CRONOVISOR: ECTOPLASMA

El ectoplasma es un concepto dentro de la parapsicología que designa una serie de manifestaciones de los llamados médiums. Se supone que estos, durante sus trances, pueden emitir por la boca u otros orificios del cuerpo una sustancia blanca y vaporosa, a veces parecida a una especie de velo, que puede conformar figuras y que siempre ha traído de cabeza a los investigadores de lo insólito. Esta noche, de la mano de Iker Jiménez, veremos algunas imágenes analizadas por el tamiz del Cronovisor en las que podremos observar estos supuestos ectoplasmas tan intrigantes para la comunidad científica.

Answering through my frev sideblog because i just finished this book and it is... Something. It's by a spanish author and the title translates roughly to 'a face through time'. And i was deceived, because i thought it would be about camille but nope. Camille is a plot point, barely more. (Also the author completely ignores the fact that camille and Robespierre were childhood friends, and Robespierre is... Yeah you can imagine how he's portrayed.).

There's not so much time travelling, more like time spying. The protagonist uses a cronovisor that allows him to look into the past, because he's doing a school project about camille, and then he proceeds to fall in love with a random girl from the 1790s. Kinda creepy.

So yeah, they save her instead, the protagonist's friend builds a time machine to bring her back seconds before the guillotine kills her, and only her, cause fuck camille i guess, and then the government sends them to mars.

in my last year of primary school me and my classmates cowrote a shitty time travel short story

one of the kid had read about Camille Desmoulins in one of those kids educational magazines and was hell bent on a “rescue Camille” mission 

we all rolled with it 

rescue mission consisted on our characters barging in Camille’s home in early July 1789 and telling him “Hey! We’re from the future! Heads up, you’re getting guillotined in 1794! You don’t know what a guillotine is? Here, let me draw one for you! Head go there, then the executioneer release the blade…and it beheads the person! You still don’t believe us Camille? It’s July 1789, right? Here’s a prediction for you: the Bastille will be stormed on the 14th, you’ll see Camille, you’ll see…Right, we must be on our way, byebye!!”

then our characters merely go on their ways idly wondering if they’ve just changed the course of History, and later on they return to the 21C but Camille is never mentionned again, nor our characters impact (or lack thereof) on History 

our teacher poorly edited the whole thing (it’s full of typos, grammar and spelling errors, poor copy-pasting leading to an absolute mess), then she wrote a preface saying how hard herself and her students had worked on this “we read, re-read and re-read it again, edit and edit and edit again” (Suuuure)

then our teacher printed copies and made little booklets using plastic binding combs 

AND THEN SHE BULLIED US INTO GETTING OUR PARENTS TO BUY COPIES FOR 5€ EACH

my parents were still in their long “convert everything into old French francs” phase so they went “5€? That’s nearly 33Fr! No way we’re paying that!” 

At one point the teacher was starting each day publicly shaming the few of us who had so far failed to give money for her shitty book (I think she expected us to pay it ourselves with our allowance if we had to. I didn’t have an allowance). 

anyway, in the end my dad gave me 5€, THEN HE READ THE SHITTY BOOK

and then he said Camille absolutely died in the story too, because “warning him about the guillotine is useless if you don’t tell him WHY that happened to him” and “you should have told him to listen to Robespierre, that one might have worked…”
