Hello and welcome to my gifset blog!! I have a couple of important messages for this one which contain some rules for interaction:

• First and final warning guys! Don't tag my stuff with any type of Cleon tags please! Someone just did and the ship makes me very uncomfortable! I don't like blocking people because of this kind of thing but I have and will do so if you refuse to listen to me. It's the one and only boundary I have for now when it comes to my gifs, please respect that!

• Q. Can I make use of your gifs?

A. As long as you use them in things that wouldn't be uncomfortable for me to see, I've had people use them on like hard-core smut fics before and because tumblr sends me a notification every time someone uses them I have to see that shit 😭 Another thing I wouldn't recommend is using or reblogging my sets to negatively comment ON the set or game I made a set about in the first place. You can easily just scroll or make your own post for that instead of being disrespectful in my tags like I've had recently experienced. Aside from the aforementioned points you're good to go! I don't mind at all and I actually appreciate being asked for once! No-ones actually asked me before lol

If you have a negative opinion on a positive post please don't reblog my gifsets bashing the positive its based on. I.E if I make a post tagged with a certain ships tag don't reblog that set with something like EWW THAT SHIP SUCKS. Make your own post.

I use many tags to get around so if you have a specific ship, dynamic or thing you're looking for, follow one of the following:

Crimson's Gifs: [insert fandom] for a fandom (for example Crimson's Gifs: Resident Evil)

Pairing: [insert ship wording I feel represents them] (for example Pairing: Keeping Score)

Brotp: [insert two characters] (for example something like Brotp: Ashley and Leon)

That's about it for the things I should make you aware of. I'm only one person working on gifs of their favourite games as a hobby and I'm not looking for trouble or anything besides sharing what I love with people. Please be kind and enjoy!

I am excited to announce that @nxoxart and I have joined creative forces to bring you a project that we both think you will very much enjoy.

As big enjoyers of both BG3, Crimson Peak, gothic aesthetics and vampires - we'll bring you:

A fan project that will combine the story of Guillermo Del Toro's gothic masterpiece with the stories of the vampires Astarion and Nymea.

In a mix of comicpages, illustrations and pieces of writing we will retell the story with some new twists.

We are very much excited about it and hope so are you! If you want to follow the project, you can follow each of us or the hashtag #CrimsonPeakProject!

October Demo Update!

Happy Halloween!

I've released another update for the Mizuki and the Crimson Moon demo! This update isn't anything huge and just include enemy AI updates and bug fixes with some other small changes sprinkled in. The change that I'm the happiest with is the changes to the yurei (featured below). Now she has a proper ranged attack and death animation!

For anyone who reads this, I hope you give the demo a shot! It can be found on Steam and ItchIO. I am now working on the final update to the demo, and it's going to be a large one (the first boss is in development!). If you have any feedback or suggestions at all, please email me, contact me on social media, or message me on the Mizuki and the Crimson Moon discord channel!

A Crimson Peak Fan Project | Nxox & Poro

"My mother’s passing was tragic for everyone involved. Even at my young age I understood there was nothing to be done about it. The problem then was that everyone else also knew how much of a tragedy it was and had to make it abundantly clear to me. While as a young child I was mourning the first ever loss of someone so near and dear to me - without even having gotten the chance of a final hug, a last goodbye. As I was barely grasping that I was already forgetting the way my mother’s hands had felt on me, everyone kept touching me. Hands caressed my cheek, fingers squeezed mine or ruffled my hair. Some even went as far as enveloping me in a hug. Whilst I was making my first ever acquaintance with the depths of grief, feeling as hollow as the ground swallowing up that coffin so black against white snow, it all meant nothing to me. No gentle touch, no soft word, no shiny gift could replace what had been stolen from me. Only alone in the nights did I slowly begin to understand that the void I was feeling was that of my mother’s missing touch. And that I would never feel it again. Or so I thought. Up until that night I made the realisation that some things, unfortunately, don’t just stay dead and buried."

"I've made a new friend today, lamb."

Trudging along, bells toiling, the god of mercy visits the plains once more in search of lost souls in need of saving. A lush flower grove grows beneath their hooves, only to quickly rot and age underneath the crimson cloak. The scent of herb coated the ancient long gone architecture with new vigor.

Narinder still clings to their ancient master, loyal as always joining the solemn walk. He announces his blessed day, he made a friend, looking up to the towering beast for a sign that he has been heard. He almost wishes to choke a sob, for he sees there's none. A trudge, new life, for it to end, the echos of chimes, an omen of sleep. He remembers the days when he despised the infant god for being so childish, the cursed mocking laughter of a sickly sweet soul, to see the joy written on their face, to see how proud they were when the news was given. Delight that Narinder is no longer so lonesome with the new family. He'd give anything to break this damned curse, just to see that annoying, pitiful, awful, smile again.

We hope you’re in the mood for heaps of literary shenanigans, because BBC has a busy December planned! First, we’re hosting Crimson Peak movie night on our Discord on December 10th at 9 PM EST.

Next up, we had so much fun at our last read-along that we’ll be doing a read-along for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe on Thursday the 21st (chapters TBD)! Come hang out and read or just listen to your fellow BBC-ers do silly voices.

And finally, our usual monthly discussion will take place on TUESDAY the 26th (Wednesday the 27th for Aussies.)
