So I'm a huge Beatles fan, and the whole aesthetic of MUSE is really giving off 70's retro vibes to me? I've seen a lot of people point this out, especially with the little vinyls and now the cassettes. But especially now with Jimin's pre-release being titled 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band' (😭) I'm definitely getting Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band vibes?? which, I can't even begin to talk about how excited that makes me?

And I think this was a FACE pre-order bonus? or something like that

And there's that clip from Jimin in NYC with Pdogg that Vogue released we're they're looking at vinyls and they talk about the Beatles, Pdogg says

They talk about Abbey Road too but I'm so 😭 I can't WAIT to hear what this album sounds like ahdghadoghadgh I'm so excited.

I think the colors of MUSE really match up with Sgt. Pepper aesthetic too. I need to dig more into this, so happy 😭

edit: wait but has Jimin watched cirque du soleil Love?????? omg I NEED HIM TO SEE IT 😭 please, imagine him taking inspo from the show

oh but I forgot that it's closing 😭 I really hope he got to see it, it's such a beautiful show oh my god, the absolute insane visuals and emotions it takes you through, to feel and experience music that way was such a high. That would be so perfect for Jimin, to tell his musical story through a visual and emotive show like that 😭 and parts of it are really his style too imho

dreaming large and elaborate stained glass dreams. 314 pieces seems like insanity. If i had my way she’d be 3 feet long and the smallest pieces would be about thumbnail sized. i need to ask some long time stained glass artists if this is doable or the structural integrity would be too low? still fun to dream anyway!

i have to re-learn this lesson every other month, but it's wild that when i Force myself to write fanfic when im Not In The Mood To, it subsequently causes the quality of my writing to be absolute Dogshit, the doggiest shittiest dogshit possible. almost as if when i take the fun out of an activity i supposedly do for fun, the rest of it falls apart because That Was The Load-Bearing Wall Of Fun. plus it just makes my mood tank like crazy too, so it's a lose-lose scenario when i force myself to write when im not in the mood, no matter how compelling my fic wip idea is to me. sigh. :(

For anyone who's tagged me in writing games, I'll just have you know I wrote a bit more lately, so I wanted to share this little slice I wrote recently (from Crater City in Elijah’s POV):

After Blair finished my makeup, he began dumping the shiny containers back in the box. I stopped him midway.

"You're not going to do your makeup?"

"Me? No, it's been years..." he trailed off. "Besides, in this outfit?" he tugged at his stained shirt.

I grabbed the three eyeliner pens that hovered above the box in his grasp.

"Hold still."

With one hand placed on his chin for stability and the other with pen in hand, I began my work. A whole lotta blood sweat and tears went into it, one could say. I really had to dig deep into my early years of drawing shoddy dinosaurs and horrific animatronics. If there were any memories I was best at recovering, it was my most useless ones.

"Elijah, I can't go outside looking like I came from Cujo's Wacky Adventure."

"That's not even what I'm going for. Besides, since when do you care what you go outside looking like?"

"Are you saying that because I occasionally dress like a slob?"

"No, you dress like Blair," I finished my masterpiece and nudged him to turn around to look in the mirror. "Behold my preschool-level artistry!"

A smile crept up in his face as he touched each of the tiny white blobs I drew on his face. "Oh my God, they're ghosts with boots smoking cigars!"

"They're supposed to be geese," I laughed. "To match your shirt."

"Geese!"

As I handed him the pens to put away, I caught a glimpse at the packaging: May remove with detergent. "Uh, it's ok if the face paint lasts a little bit longer than intended?"

"Yeah, it's ok, I wasn't planning on washing it off anytime soon," he remained facing the mirror. "I'd totally be willing to die in this."

Still on my dragon bs... Not sure what to do with this still, cause it will likely end up too big for my intended purposes. But I think it can double as a flat wing pattern for the dragon amigurumi I've been brainstorming for the past weeks if this current wip doesn't work out 👀
