134 and 116 for the book asks?

134. unreccomend any book you like - as in, what book do i like that you should Not read? patrick rothfuss's kingkiller chronicles. reason 1. i don't think they will ever be finished. the third one has been in writing for a year 2. you Will enjoy the first one and then when you get to the second one youll be incredibly annoyed and dissapointed 3. its fairly menwritingwomen in places 4. its kind of an earthsea knockoff

well why is the second one so bad? this is a running theme throughout the books of rothfuss wanting to make kvothe sound So cool and So good and fun and cool at everything and his only flaw is he keeps pissing off rich people. and in the wise man's fear (the second one) rothfuss says. okay. you need to know how good this teenage boy is at sex. so he goes into the fucking fae world to spend months just learning about sex from the sex fae lady whos name is felurian i think. and then when he goes to a mountain kingdom i think and meets them and learns their language he of course has epic sex with his much older mentor. its um. it kind of fucking sucks as a concept and also to read and made me want to be a bit sick

116. a book with multiple POVs - welcome to night vale: a novel! josh crayton my beloved <3 but also this book is fantastic and really underrated in the night vale canon, i never see anyone talking about it but its wonderful :)
