The Ballon d’Or (“Golden Ball“), is organized annually where world best footballers are awarded by France Football. Since 1956 this award is given but between 2010 and 2015, an agreement was made with FIFA and the award was merged with the FIFA World Player of the Year and was called as the FIFA Ballon d’Or, but the partnership between both the parties ended in 2016 and the award been reversed back to Ballon d’Or.
