DUMA! Today, and in rerun on Saturday 18 September, we are staged at the Alessandrino Theater in Alessandria with the world premiere of "JELIN", a two-act opera by Maestro Aldo Brizzi. I feel great emotion for this debut. This production boasts an international cast of people from 10 nations, with the musicians of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Lake Como, conducted by Maestro Brizzi himself, along with 15 opera singers for the main parts and a total of over 50 performers, as well as to stage and production technicians, coordinated by the internationally renowned director, Cornelia Geiser. A big thank you to Maestro @aldo_brizzi who wanted me in this production . It is an honor for me to sing "at home" for the "home" audience. Amis ad Lisondria see you soon on stage . . . DUMA ! Co-director Cornelia Geiser sits by a window on an easy chair reading aloud a few verses by Corneille, then a somewhat longer excerpt from Brecht - each writer referencing Rome but really condemning injustice in his own era.
