Meet the New Family member

Now that Cookie isn’t a kitten anymore and things are becoming a little more hectic at work, Callum and Patzy felt like he need a friend to keep him company while they’re out and about.  Both of them has been looking far and wide for a little furry friend for them to adopt, but with no luck unfortunately, which Patzy has been rather down about it.

One day however a little fluffy nugget of a cat turned up in the local paper, ready to be adopted. She was adorable with her little bobtail. Both Callum and Pazy were sold right away. They reached out to the owner in order to enquire, if she still was available for adoption and luckily for them - she was! The next day they headed off to retrieve her. She was so sweet, but a little shy. Her original name was Karen, but neither Patzy or Callum felt like the name suited her. So Patzy named her Coco, short for coconut, to go with the food theme she had decided on, when naming Cookie.

Even though Coco is a bit shy, she quickly warmed up to the boys in the house. She and Cookie enjoy playing together and Callum has even caught them taking a nap - all snuggled up together, melting into one big fluffy ball of fur. But Coco still seem a little wary of Patzy - maybe she has a thing about females - but hopefully it won’t last for long.

Big Boy Now!

Cookie aged up and gosh is he just the cutest!

Both Patzy and Callum can’t get enough of his little fluffy face. Patzy usually fills her blog with cute cat pictures of Cookie, much to her followers delight.  And every day, after work, Callum rushes to cuddle and play with his baby boy. Patzy is even beginning to get a little jealous of the cat, so she has demanded that Callum has to give her smooches before he is allowed to dote on Cookie.

Dinner for One... and Two Cats

Even though Callum and Patzy meet up most days to grab dinner at the local dinner before Patzy has to work. There are still days where it’s simply not possible to do so. Whenever this happens Callum usually cooks ups something easy at home and eats in front of the television. Usually the furry felines flock around him and begs for a bite, but it never happens. For some reason they seem to have forgotten, that Callum is the stricter parent, when it comes to their diet. They always gotta try and who knows, someday he might just give in and share his dinner.

Working Hard

Patzy has been working hard on her athletic skills, so she might be able to get a promotion. The constant loud music and jumping jacks have been driving Cookie nuts though, which have resulted in extra scratches on the furniture. But neither Callum nor Patzy can stay mad at the little troublemaker for long.

Happy Snowflake Day!!

The OG Fullman household sends their love and best wishes everyone a happy Snowflake Day.

McKenna had called earlier to wish her parents a lovely Snowflake Day and tell them about her new buddy, Theo. April’s motherly heart was aching for the little puppy, she waved at her husband to call him over. Walter approached curiously, eggnog in hand. He and the kids were decorating the tree. April nodded toward the notepad, where she quickly had scribbled Theo’s story down. Walter quickly read what she had written and send his wife a smile and nod. He knew his wife and when he read the first line, he knew what she was scheming. April put McKenna on speaker, so she could wish everyone a merry Snowflake Day and April could surprise McKenna with the extra Snowflake present. It wasn’t much, but it was just enough so McKenna could have the little guy checked out by a vet. 

The whole family then gathered by the tv, to watch a holiday movie. Callum and Patzy snuggled up under a giant blanket, while Bryson grabbed Ollie, so he could pet him. April went to the kitchen, earlier in the day she had baked cookies for the family to enjoy. The phone rang, Walter went to get it. It was Aiden.

“Merry Snowflake Day, Dad” Aiden said, he sounded odd. Walter wrinkled his brow, which was a clear signal to April that something was amiss. She hurried over and pressed her ear against the other side of the phone. 

“Merry Snowflake Day to you too, Son” Walter replied. “Is everything alright?” He asked, while struggling to keep his balance with April leaning up against him.

“...” Aiden was quiet for a couple of seconds. “Yeah, Dad, nothing to worry about. I just have some thinking to do”. Aiden finally replied. Walter knew his eldest was hiding something, but what could it be. Last they had spoken, Aiden was over the moon with happiness. 

“Remember we’re always here if you ever nee....” Walter was cut off, April had grabbed the phone from his hand. Walter sighed and shook his head. April send an apologetic smile. 

“Honey, what’s wrong?!” She asked rather panicky. “Well, happy Snowflake Day to you too, Mom” Aiden laughed, though with a bit of a sad undertone. “I’m fine, as I told Dad. Don’t worry, Mom”. 

April protested, “But Sweetheart, I can hear something is bothering you? Do you need help? Tell me... You know, I can be there in just a couple of hours”

“I know, Mom, but there is no need. I’m good, It’s just been a bad day” Aiden answered back. April was just about to protest once again, when Callums voice pulled her away for a moment. 

“Mom! The cookies are burning!” Callum yelled. April was flustered. “I’ll be right there” She yelled back. “But Aiden, my Love...” Aiden interrupted her, before she could finish the sentence. “Mom, you better go attend to those cookies. I have to get back to Brenna too. Say hi to the others from me” Aiden said and before April could answer back, he had cut the line. She didn’t like it at all.

After dealing with the now burnt cookies, April wanted to call Aiden back, but Walter stopped her. “Now is not the time, Love. He’ll call back when he is ready to talk about it” Walter whispered as he pulled her into a hug. “I don’t like it, Walter” April said worryingly. “I know, neither do I, but we have to give him space. He’ll come to us when he needs us” Walter replied and gave her a kiss, “Now lets put on our best smile and go celebrate with our other kids”

New Family Member?

One day on his way home from work, Callum noticed a small kitten hanging around the apartment building. It didn’t have a collar on and after banging on all the different apartment doors with no luck in locating the owner. Callum decided to bring the little bugger home. 

Patzy fell in love with the little guy from the moment she saw him. The little guy reminded her of an Oreo cookie and she automatically began calling him Cookie - And the name stuck.
