The Role of The Royal Ballet School’s Primary Steps Programme in Dance Education Across England and Wales
Founded almost 100 years ago, The Royal Ballet School has produced generations of iconic dancers, including Margot Fonteyn and Darcey Bussell.
Although places on The Royal Ballet School’s full-time training course in London are highly coveted, the School believes that creative dance education should be accessible to all.
To broaden access to dance education, The Royal Ballet School launched the Primary Steps Programme in 2006. Through this programme, primary school children in England and Wales can discover the joy of ballet in their local area.
Raising The Barre for Dance Education
The advantages of teaching children dance are well understood, with research demonstrating its many physiological and psychological benefits. The Royal Ballet School understands that dance is an essential tool that can enrich children’s well-being and curriculum learning.
By extension, the Primary Steps Programme has introduced thousands of primary school students to ballet. Primary Steps nurtures children’s talents through after-school classes and performance opportunities.
The programme also helps participants and their families discover further dance pathways. Primary Steps connects young dancers to local and national dance infrastructure. Graduates of the programme have pursued pre-vocational and vocational studies at:
The Royal Ballet School, London.
Elmhurst Ballet School, Birmingham.
Moorland International Ballet Academy, Clitheroe.
The Lowry, Salford.
The Place, London.
Swindon Dance.
Dance4, Nottingham.
DanceEast, Ipswich.
Primary Steps acts as a springboard for many talented students who wish to pursue formal dance training. But the programme also offers children a fun space to explore the art form and socialise. Primary Steps graduates note that the programme helped them make new friends and grow in confidence.
Creative Ballet Education for Students in Years 3 to 6
The Primary Steps Programme caters to children aged 7 to 11 (school Years 3 to 6). Students at participating schools benefit from the programme’s two parts: autumn term workshops and weekly after-school classes.
1. Autumn Term Workshops
Primary Steps runs a continuing professional development (CPD) day for Year 3 teachers in the autumn term of the academic year. This CPD day takes place at The Royal Ballet School. In addition, the teachers’ students take part in five creative ballet workshops. Led by specialist instructors, the autumn workshops can contribute to Arts Award Discover.
Participating schools then receive:
Five creative ballet workshops for all Year 3 children.
CPD and resource materials to support further dance classes.
An interactive ballet training demonstration with Royal Ballet School students.
2. Weekly After-School Classes
Selected Year 3 students from participating schools go on to attend weekly creative ballet classes. The classes take place at a local host secondary school and are an ideal medium for Arts Award Explore. Students can attend classes up to the age of 11.
For a small fee, participants receive:
Weekly creative dance classes. Taught by Royal Ballet School teachers, the classes also feature live musical accompaniment.
Dance shoes and uniform.
Chances to see Royal Ballet School students training and performances from professional dancers.
Trips to local and regional dance companies.
Opportunities to perform at The Royal Ballet School and locally.
Making Dance Accessible in England and Wales
The Primary Steps Programme allows children in England and Wales to access a high-quality dance education in their local area. The programme partners with national dance agencies and secondary schools to target regions of economic, social, and cultural diversity.

Australia is one of the best places to work for developers, and they welcome engineers from all over the world. Engineers need a CDR Report to get a qualified migration visa to Australia. You should adopt the style of Engineers Australia's Migration Skills booklet when writing the CDR Paper. Engineers Australia permission is needed for engineers to move to Australia. As a consequence, for those engineers, preparing a successful and efficient CDR is a vital task. How to achieve a good quality CDR report? You must apply the CDR Report to Engineers Association as part of Australia's migration process (EA). The CDR Report for an electronics engineer consists of five documents: three distinct Career Episodes, a Summary Statement, and documents for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). By adopting the format and guidelines outlined in Engineers Australia's Migration Skills Assessment (MSA), you will create an outstanding and successful CDR. It should be needed that the CDR Report be published in Australian English. The pronunciation, grammar, and writing style should be comparable to that of Australians. Most notably, original material should be used in the papers, while plagiarized content should be excluded at all costs. A CDR format is virtually similar for each engineering branch; only the material differs according to the job points. Engineers Australia receives documentation such as a CV, CPD, Career Episodes, and a Summary Statement (EA). Contents of the CDR Report 1. Curriculum Vitae (CV): Your CV should have all of your personal information, as well as the things you've done in your career, which must be accurately listed. The CV should be written using various keywords that describe the job function. 2. Career Episodes: The three distinct projects for your career episodes should be selected. The career episodes should include job specifics such as the applicant's position and duties on a project, any problems or obstacles encountered, and the projects' outcomes. 3. Summary statement: The summary statement is a table-formatted report that discusses the Career Episode contents. It applies to a comprehensive summary of the career episodes, CPD, and other lessons learned. 4. CPD (Continued Professional Development): Continuing Professional Development encompasses all of the skills you've acquired in your career. It contains information about the educational programmes, courses, and other achievements. The first choice is to write the CDR Report from scratch. Engineers Australia has provided a format and guidance for preparing the CDR Report. You may also use the CDR samples offered by various websites as a guide. There are several alternatives and Electronics Engineer samples available online. Please only use EA licensed CDR samples offered by reputable websites. You must do a thorough analysis before composing the CDR. Taking advice and assistance from others would make the job much easier and faster. Hiring experts is the second and best way to prepare for the CDR report writing process. In the industry, there are several service providers. They all pledge to give you the best support possible. They have a greater knowledge of the rules and regulations than a beginner like you because they are professionals and experts in this area. They compile the CDR report using the applicants' instructions, facts, and data. Those departments still appear to adhere to EA's format and guidelines. To produce a better outcome, you can choose the best and most professional CDR writing firm.
How to choose professionals for cdr writing? There are several cdr writing services on the market that promise to provide outstanding results. Choosing the best service provider among them is difficult. Experience, acceptance rate, delivery time, and pricing are factors to weigh when recruiting a CDR Writer. We are the best service provider for any engineers to hire for their CDR Report. We are an Australian listed corporation with several years of experience. Any engineering area for CDR can be carried out by our experienced team of writers and experts. The greatest thing about our program is that we provide tutoring and CDR evaluation services to applicants. Candidates will also get a free briefing and 24-hour assistance. What do CME/CPD points mean?
The time spent in attendance can be used to accrue CME points or CPD hours for those who complete CPD/CME training activities. What are CME points, and how do they relate to CPD hours? Is a valid question. ‘Is easy to comprehend.
There will inevitably be a divergence in terminology with an increase in both the number of UK and foreign professional associations, which is simple to explain. Most people agree that CME/CPD hours, points, units, and credits all refer to the same concept: CPD hours.

The meaning of a CPD hour
A CPD hour is defined as the amount of time a delegate spends engaging in "active learning." Active learning is when you actually spend time learning something that is pertinent to your goals for continuing your professional development. A one-day CPD-accredited training course would be a fantastic illustration of this. The training would count as having completed 7 CPD hours if it lasted from 9 am until 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
Approximately 95% of professional organisations in the UK are thought to utilise CPD Hours as their primary indicator of ongoing professional development. Where CME/CPD points, units, or credits are mentioned, they typically correspond in a 1:1 ratio to CPD hours. Inferred from this is that normally 1 CME or CPD point would equal 1 CPD hour.

How can you get a certificate of attendance for CPD/CME?
The importance of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in advancing both people and organisations is widely acknowledged across all industries. A certificate of attendance can be obtained once a student has attended or participated in any CPD or CME activity, such as seminars, workshops, training courses, webinars, or any other educational event.
The certificate should include the participant's name, the name of the training programme they completed, the name of the CPD provider organisation, the date, and how many CPD hours it took them to complete the activity. After that, the person would add their CPD/CME certificate of attendance to their CPD personal record to demonstrate the additional learning they had completed for the year.

How to log and report your continuing education hours (CPD)
It is considerably simpler to manage your annual Continuing Professional Development throughout the year if you regularly log your CME points and CPD hours. A professional can reflect on the knowledge received from the learning activity, what can be integrated in daily working patterns and objectives, and what skill sets to improve next by keeping a regular log of the training they have attended as well as the learning objectives and outcomes.

Continuing education for doctors (CE)
In a few nations, Continuing Education is necessary for medical professionals to keep their licences. Local authorities with jurisdiction over licencing issues regulate the specific conditions for licensure.
Obtaining credits for ongoing education (CE credits)
Obtaining continuing education credits (CE credits) serves as evidence of CE completion. An activity evaluation (such as an assessment) that is associated with the taken advantage of CE-offer is required to earn online CE credits.
The users are accountable for the offered CE credits' formal recognition.
Register here: https://nursing.universeconferences.com/registration/
Procedure:
A lecture must be watched in its entirety and the corresponding exam must be passed to receive CE credits. If at least 70% of the questions are answered correctly, the test is passed.
A personal certificate is given upon achievement. It is effective for a full year. The certificate can be retrieved at any time from the Dental Campus' "My certifications" section. The test may be taken twice more. Every re-examination is available at any moment.

Micro-credentials: An important part of a bigger ecosystem
See on Scoop.it - Education 2.0 & 3.0
Micro-credentials are by no means new, with many, such as short-term courses, having been offered by different providers for years. Most have centred around outreach and continuing professional development (CPD) for the training of skilled workers and professionals. Compared to macro-credentials, such as full degree or qualification programmes, micro-credentials can be a tool to downsize and shorten longer learning programmes for greater agility, flexibility and diversity.
