BAU 2025 Munich: Elevate Your Presence with Globstar Exhibitions
BAU 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, building materials, and systems, is set to take place in Munich, Germany. This international event will draw key players in the construction and building industry, showcasing the latest innovations in materials, technologies, and solutions.
As a premier Exhibitions Stand Builder in Europe, Globstar Exhibitions is here to help you make the most of this prestigious platform. Whether you're introducing a new product line or aiming to reinforce your brand’s leadership, we specialize in designing and fabricating high-impact exhibition stands that will set you apart from the competition.
In this blog, we’ll explore why exhibiting at BAU 2025 is crucial for your business, how a custom exhibition stand can boost your success, and why Globstar Exhibitions is the ideal partner to ensure a seamless and standout presence at the show.
What is BAU 2025?
BAU 2025 is the leading global event for architecture, building materials, and systems. Held every two years in Munich, this event attracts over 250,000 visitors, including architects, engineers, project developers, manufacturers, and construction professionals from across the world.
With its wide range of exhibits, from building materials and sustainable construction solutions to cutting-edge digital technologies, BAU is more than just a trade fair—it’s a platform for innovation, knowledge exchange, and business networking. Exhibiting at BAU 2025 offers unparalleled opportunities to showcase your products, engage with industry professionals, and forge valuable business connections.
However, the competition for attention at BAU is fierce. With thousands of exhibitors vying for the spotlight, your exhibition stand needs to make an immediate impact. This is where Globstar Exhibitions comes in.
Why Your Exhibition Stand at BAU 2025 is Critical
Your booth is not just a place to display products—it’s your brand’s voice, telling your story and connecting with visitors on a personal level. Here's why your exhibition stand is key to your success at BAU 2025 Munich:
First Impressions Matter: At BAU 2025, you will be competing with thousands of other brands for the attention of industry decision-makers. An eye-catching, custom-designed exhibition stand ensures that your brand leaves a lasting first impression. Your booth should not only attract attendees but also communicate your brand's expertise and innovation in a clear, compelling way.
Increase Foot Traffic: A well-designed booth acts as a magnet, pulling in visitors who are genuinely interested in what you have to offer. With interactive elements, thoughtful layout, and visually appealing displays, your stand will draw foot traffic and keep visitors engaged for longer, increasing the chance of generating valuable leads.
Showcase Your Expertise: An exhibition stand is a powerful platform to showcase your brand’s knowledge, skills, and products. By designing a stand that highlights your strengths—whether it's new materials, eco-friendly solutions, or cutting-edge technology—you demonstrate your authority in the field and build trust with potential customers.
Maximize Engagement with Visitors: A booth that offers an interactive experience will not only attract attention but also engage visitors on a deeper level. By incorporating product demonstrations, virtual reality (VR) experiences, or hands-on activities, you can create memorable experiences that resonate with your audience, encouraging them to stay longer and inquire about your products or services.
Brand Visibility and Differentiation: With hundreds of exhibitors in the same industry, it’s essential to stand out. Your exhibition stand design can differentiate your brand from competitors, ensuring you attract the right audience and remain memorable long after the event. Whether you emphasize your innovation, sustainability, or design excellence, your booth must reflect the core values of your brand in a unique way.

Exhibiting at BAU 2025 is a significant investment, and to ensure the best return, you need to maximize your visibility and engagement at every stage of the event. Here’s a simple strategy to help you make the most out of your exhibition experience:
Pre-Event Marketing: The success of your exhibition starts long before you arrive at BAU 2025. Begin by promoting your participation on social media platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter. Share sneak peeks of your booth, new products, or innovative solutions that visitors can expect at your stand. This will help build anticipation and ensure that your target audience knows where to find you.
Engaging Visitors Onsite: Once the event begins, your focus should be on engaging with visitors in a meaningful way. Train your team to be welcoming and knowledgeable, offering clear explanations of your products and services. Utilize technology, such as interactive displays or product demonstrations, to create memorable experiences for attendees.
Post-Event Follow-Up: After BAU 2025 ends, your work isn't done. Follow up with the contacts you made during the event, whether through personalized emails, social media outreach, or direct calls. Provide more detailed information about your offerings, and invite them to continue the conversation.

The Wang theatre is absolutely beautiful, the crowd was awesome, and way back in the center cheap seats (balcony) the screen looked decent.
Shout out to all the Bald Mikus and Dunkin Donuts Miku
Tickets were sold out and scalped within seconds of opening, definitely wasn't worth 100$ each. Ticketmaster is so very awful

Comic Expo haul!
As usual I went in with a whole list of recs and tbr books to find and found basically zero of them. The expo was smaller again this year, due to our convention hall being under renovations, which meant fewer booths and fewer book options (alas!). Ah well, I improvised and found a bunch of cool new stuff anyway! Mostly manga this year, bc the manga booth by far had the best selection. There were tons of comics booths, but as usual older Marvel/DC stuff dominated and I couldn't really find anything that interested me.
Anyway, I found:
1. whole bunch of manga! Box of Light was a cover buy (it's gorgeous), Blue Morning looks interesting and was selling like hotcakes so I nabbed the first 3 volumes while I could. Peach Girl and Hyper Dolls were at a random booth for 5 for $20 so I couldn't resist them lol. Princess Jellyfish I finally picked up after years of going "hmmm maybe..." and it's an absolute delight (it's the only one I've read so far), my only regret is not grabbing a couple more volumes. And finally Evangelion vol 1, which I owned years ago, but for some reason got rid of when I moved. I do want to finish the series someday, though!
2. DEATH NOTE BOX SEEEEEEET AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH. I'm SO excited, i always wanted to read the whole series but I'm very bad at keeping up with manga and didn't buy all the volumes before they went out of print. My hometown library had it when I was a teenager, but someone (presumably an extremely religious, scandalized parent of some other unfortunate emo teen) had ripped out all the pages with violence, sexuality, or satanic/goth imagery....so yeah, I didn't get to read very much of them after all. I'm sooooo excited to have my own copies with ALL the pages that NO ONE can deface!!!!
3. The only comic I actually bought at the comic expo lol: Sex Criminals vol 4. been lowkey meaning to finish that series for a while, though this was kind of a pity buy bc I spent 45 mins hiding from the crowds in the Redd Skull Comics booth (they put down nice plush carpet, and have tall bookshelves, so it makes it a good booth to decompress in) and felt like I should buy something in return for the hiding spot.
4. DRAGONLANCE ART BOOK!!!! YES, A BOOK FULL OF MY FAVOURITE 80s BOOK COVER PAINTINGS!!!! I love it so much. So, so much. It was expensive as hell, but WORTH IT. I usually don't bother with art books bc I never remember to look at them, but I've opened this multiple times to stare at the gorgeous paintings of Raistlin, so it was a good buy. (also I know WOTC is in hot water again, so disclaimer: I bought this from a secondhand comics booth, it's just in extraordinary condition. WOTC got 0 of my dollars this weekend).
#book haul#sorry for the long post#i felt the need to Explain and also preserve my memories#this was a pretty great expo book-wise. at least bc of the death note and dragonlance books#which is good bc a couple of the guests i really wanted to see cancelled so SOMETHING really good had to happen#i hope the construction is done next year bc its a total clusterfuck tho. like the layout is fucked. the main stage area is too small.#and while there's still tons of vendors you can't get completely irredeemably lost like you used to#anyway. it was a decent time. well worth taking 2 days off work and taking soooo much cough syrup. i HATE cough syrup#(I wasn't contagious by the time i went i promise. my fever was broken but my cold + allergies were just dragging on and being a pain)

Understanding AI's impact on the workforce
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/understanding-ais-impact-on-the-workforce/
Understanding AI's impact on the workforce
.pp-multiple-authors-boxes-wrapper display:none; img width:100%;
The Tony Blair Institute (TBI) has examined AI’s impact on the workforce. The report outlines AI’s potential to reshape work environments, boost productivity, and create opportunities—while warning of potential challenges ahead.
“Technology has a long history of profoundly reshaping the world of work,” the report begins.
From the agricultural revolution to the digital age, each wave of innovation has redefined labour markets. Today, AI presents a seismic shift, advancing rapidly and prompting policymakers to prepare for change.
Economic opportunities
The TBI report estimates that AI, when fully adopted by UK firms, could significantly increase productivity. It suggests that AI could save “almost a quarter of private-sector workforce time,” equivalent to the annual output of 6 million workers.
Most of these time savings are expected to stem from AI-enabled software performing cognitive tasks such as data analysis and routine administrative operations.
The report identifies sectors reliant on routine cognitive tasks, such as banking and finance, as those with significant exposure to AI. However, sectors like skilled trades or construction – which involve complex manual tasks – are likely to see less direct impact.
While AI can result in initial job losses, it also has the potential to create new demand by fostering economic growth and new industries.
The report expects these job losses can be balanced by new job creation. Over the years, technology has historically spurred new employment opportunities, as innovation leads to the development of new products and services.
Shaping future generations
AI’s potential extends into education, where it could assist both teachers and students.
The report suggests that AI could help “raise educational attainment by around six percent” on average. By personalising and supporting learning, AI has the potential to equalise access to opportunities and improve the quality of the workforce over time.
Health and wellbeing
Beyond education, AI offers potential benefits in healthcare, supporting a healthier workforce and reducing welfare costs.
The report highlights AI’s role in speeding medical research, enabling preventive healthcare, and helping those with disabilities re-enter the workforce.
Workplace transformation
The report acknowledges potential workplace challenges, such as increased monitoring and stress from AI tools. It stresses the importance of managing these technologies thoughtfully to “deliver a more engaging, inclusive and safe working environment.”
To mitigate potential disruption, the TBI outlines recommendations. These include upgrading labour-market infrastructure and utilising AI for job matching.
The report suggests creating an “Early Awareness and Opportunity System” to help workers understand the impact of AI on their jobs and provide advice on career paths.
Preparing for an AI-powered future
In light of the uncertainties surrounding AI’s impact on the workforce, the TBI urges policy changes to maximise benefits. Recommendations include incentivising AI adoption across industries, developing AI-pathfinder programmes, and creating challenge prizes to address public-sector labour shortages.
The report concludes that while AI presents risks, the potential gains are too significant to ignore.
Policymakers are encouraged to adopt a “pro-innovation” stance while being attuned to the risks, fostering an economy that is dynamic and resilient.
