i'm actually so upset rn. like i genuinely feel like my urge to write has just dissipated into thin air lol. i had an anon send me a warning that someone had fed one of my old xiao oneshots into character ai for the purpose of "angst xiao rp". guys, idk if this even needs to be said because i have never seen an author on here wanting this, but I DO NOT WANT MY WORK FED TO AI. EVER. it's just a gross machine-like rewrite of the work that i put my blood, sweat, and tears into, but now it just reads as lifeless and like... nothing.

and that was my favorite xiao work i've ever written too. like i pride myself a lot on the emotion i portrayed with that oneshot, and now i just feel so grossed out.

Just learned about Saint Damian who was Arabian-born and practiced medicine and surgery for free. One of the patron saints of protectors of children.

I am making connections. I am thinking so hard. I am making this about Damian Wayne. Because we see Damian’s name describe as its meaning, to tame or conquer, but this other connection fits to crazy well too.

Do you ever sit and think about how Xiao promised to essentially be Lumine's executioner. Do you ever think about how he said he'd kill for her if she wished so. Do you ever think about how Xiao spent thousands of years participating in bloodshed and massacre and thinks that it's all he was meant to be. Do you ever think about how he sees Lumine as a pure soul that deserves none of that suffering he pretty much drowned himself in. Do you ever think about how he can only feel useful to Lumine as a weapon and thus offered himself to her as one.

BUT ALSO! Do you ever think about how Lumine NEVER calls for Xiao to fight for her? Do you ever think about how she almost died fighting a GOD in Inazuma and only called Xiao after the whole ordeal was over and she wanted him to eat a dish? Do you ever think about how she absolutely refuses to use Xiao as the weapon he thinks he is? Do you ever think about how Lumine sees Xiao as a pure soul that deserves none of the torment and endeavors to give him peace in any way she can?

noah my queen how underrated you are. if only conqueror of shamballa had the chance to become a miniseries or really just be told in any form that allowed it room to breathe. I do in fact think noah’s desperation to find a world that isn’t violently bigoted towards her being so strong she’d actively side with an oppressive force just for that chance to be compelling. and I also think it’s so tragic that if she did make it to amestris she would find that her idea of it to be so hopeful it’s heartbreaking.
