#CommodoreZ goes to Katsucon 2018

I crossed paths with @exceptionalpotato while at Katsucon this weekend.  Dig the chill Courior Six.  The Moira Brown/Craterside Supply cosplay is on-point!

Spotted two great Fionna outfits at Katsucon.

Char Quattro is pissed at Haman Karn for putting Mineva Zabi on the throne at such a young age.  Nailed it, and the classic scene from Zeta Gundam.

I saw plenty of Gundam cosplay this weekend.  There were a handful of Federation and Zeon soldiers, but these two stood out (also, I couldn’t snag a picture of the other ones).

Zeon special forces and Federation ground troops are classic choices.

As a fan of grass types, you can see why I dig this pokemon gajinka.

I really wish I had gotten a photo of the final version of this cosplay, but this is the best I could get.  This Unicorn Gundam’s head is very well made.

This year, I decided to bring a new cosplay to Katsucon.  Corporal Eledore Massis, of the Earth Federation forces from Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. 

He drove the Type 74 hover truck, from which he helped coordinate the movements of the 08th MS team in combat.

Haman Karn, the leader of the first Neo Zeon movement, clad in her pointy gilded uniform is something I never expected to see at Katsucon.

Mobile Suit Gundam’s White Base crew were certainly not in short supply at Katsucon this year.  Glad to see late 70′s anime still has some cosplayers, even in 2018.

Mad Max: Fury Road is one of my favorite films. 

Imperator Furiosa, Capable, and Cheedo the Fragile were spot on!
