Age: You must be at least 18 years old.
Education: You should have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.
Medical Fitness: Obtain a Class II medical certificate, which is essential before starting your training.
Step 2: Obtain a Student Pilot License (SPL)
The first step in your pilot training journey is to get a Student Pilot License (SPL). At Flying Star Aviators, we help you prepare for the SPL ground examination and guide you through the medical fitness evaluation. This license allows you to begin your flight training under the supervision of an instructor.
Step 3: Enroll in a Flight Training Program
Enroll in a flight training program at Flying Star Aviators. Our program includes both ground school and practical flight training. Here’s what you can expect:
Ground School: Learn about air regulations, navigation, meteorology, and aircraft systems.
Flight Training: Gain hands-on experience flying various aircraft under the guidance of our experienced instructors. Accumulate the required flight hours to move to the next phase of your training.
Step 4: Obtain a Private Pilot License (PPL)
After completing about 40-50 flight hours, you will be eligible to apply for a Private Pilot License (PPL). This involves passing both written and practical exams. The PPL allows you to fly solo and carry passengers but not for commercial purposes.
Step 5: Gain Experience and Build Flight Hours
To qualify for a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), you need to accumulate a minimum of 200 flight hours. During this period, you will continue to improve your flying skills, gaining experience in various flight conditions and aircraft.
Step 6: Obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
Once you have enough flight hours, you can apply for a CPL. The process involves advanced training and passing additional written and practical exams. The CPL allows you to fly commercial aircraft and get paid for your services.
Step 7: Advanced Training and Specializations
Depending on your career goals, you may choose to pursue additional ratings and certifications such as Multi-Engine Rating, Instrument Rating, or Flight Instructor Rating. Flying Star Aviators offers advanced training programs to help you specialize and enhance your skills.
Step 8: Apply for Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
