Who is the largest exporter of candles?
Tumblr media
China holds the position as the largest exporter of candles globally, dominating the market with exports valued at approximately $1.27 billion as of 2022. China's massive manufacturing capabilities, cost-effective production, and efficient logistics network drive this extensive market presence. Chinese manufacturers supply various decorative, scented, and utility candles, catering to diverse global demands.
Poland follows closely as the second-largest exporter, with exports valued at around $987 million. Poland has become a significant player in the candle industry, particularly in the European market. Its products are known for their quality and compliance with European Union standards, making them highly sought after in the region and beyond.
Vietnam ranks third in global candle exports, with a market value of approximately $615 million. Vietnam's candle export industry is characterized by its craftsmanship and innovative designs, appealing to niche markets that prioritize aesthetic and artisanal value.
These countries contribute significantly to meeting the global demand for candles, driven by uses ranging from home decor and aromatherapy to religious and festive celebrations. With the rising popularity of scented candles and environmentally friendly products, many exporters are now focusing on sustainable practices, such as using soy or beeswax and adopting recyclable packaging.
The candle export industry reflects a growing consumer trend toward enhancing home ambiance and wellness. While China remains the largest exporter by sheer volume, countries like Poland and Vietnam have carved niches emphasizing quality and design. Together, they illustrate the diverse factors driving the international candle trade.
For detailed insights and quality candle products, businesses and buyers can explore platforms like DSK Oceani Impex, which connects suppliers with global markets.

The Importance of Professional Commercial Christmas Lighting for Your Brand
When the holiday season approaches, businesses begin to think about how they can enhance their brand presence and attract customers. One of the most effective ways to do this is through professional commercial Christmas lighting. This practice not only beautifies the surroundings but also communicates a sense of warmth and festivity that resonates with customers. In this article, we will explore the various aspects of commercial Christmas lighting, its impact on brand image, and why investing in professional services, such as those provided by LightsUpToday, is essential for businesses looking to thrive during the festive season.
Tumblr media
Enhancing Brand Visibility and Appeal
The holiday season is a crucial time for retailers and service providers alike. As customers flock to look for the perfect gifts or festive experiences, the competition intensifies. Professional commercial Christmas lighting serves as a powerful tool to enhance brand visibility. When a business is adorned with eye-catching lights, it stands out amidst the seasonal hustle and bustle. The right combination of colors, designs, and placements can draw in potential customers, encouraging them to explore what the business has to offer.
Moreover, well-executed lighting design can evoke emotions associated with joy and celebration. Studies have shown that aesthetic appeal plays a significant role in consumer behavior. A beautifully lit storefront not only attracts attention but also creates a welcoming atmosphere, making customers more likely to step inside. By investing in high-quality lighting from a reputable company like LightsUpToday, businesses can create a memorable first impression that lingers long after the holiday season.
Building a Stronger Brand Identity
Every brand has a unique identity, and seasonal decorations are an extension of that identity. Professional commercial Christmas lighting allows businesses to express their values and personality in a visually impactful way. For instance, a brand that focuses on sustainability can use energy-efficient LED lights to showcase their commitment to the environment. Similarly, a luxury brand might opt for elegant, sophisticated lighting designs that reflect their upscale image.
By aligning the lighting theme with the overall brand message, businesses can reinforce their identity in the minds of consumers. When customers associate a specific aesthetic with a brand, it fosters brand loyalty and recognition. With LightsUpToday’s expertise in creating tailored lighting solutions, businesses can effectively communicate their brand story during the holiday season, leaving a lasting impression on both new and returning customers.
Creating a Festive Atmosphere
The holiday season is synonymous with celebration, and creating a festive atmosphere is crucial for businesses looking to engage their customers. Professional commercial Christmas lighting plays a pivotal role in transforming ordinary spaces into enchanting environments. Whether it’s a retail store, a restaurant, or a corporate office, the right lighting can elevate the ambiance and make the experience more enjoyable for visitors.
Imagine walking into a retail shop adorned with twinkling fairy lights, colorful displays, and shimmering decorations. This kind of atmosphere not only puts customers in a festive mood but also encourages them to spend more time in the store. In turn, this increases the likelihood of making a purchase. Professional lighting services like those offered by LightsUpToday understand how to create immersive experiences that resonate with customers and enhance their overall perception of the brand.
Boosting Social Media Engagement
In today’s digital age, social media plays a pivotal role in shaping brand image and consumer engagement. The holiday season presents a golden opportunity for businesses to leverage their festive décor for social media marketing. Professional commercial Christmas lighting can serve as a stunning backdrop for photos, encouraging customers to share their experiences online.
When customers post pictures of themselves in front of beautifully lit storefronts or festive displays, it generates organic publicity for the brand. This user-generated content not only enhances the brand’s visibility but also builds a community of loyal followers. By collaborating with experts like LightsUpToday, businesses can ensure that their lighting designs are not only visually appealing but also Instagram-worthy, inviting customers to engage and share.
Ensuring Safety and Compliance
While the allure of dazzling lights can be tempting, it’s essential to prioritize safety and compliance when implementing commercial Christmas lighting. Hiring professionals for the job can mitigate risks associated with electrical hazards and ensure adherence to local regulations. LightsUpToday specializes in providing safe and compliant lighting solutions, ensuring that businesses can focus on their holiday strategies without worrying about potential liabilities.
Moreover, professional installers are equipped with the necessary tools and expertise to handle complex installations, minimizing the risk of accidents. This peace of mind allows businesses to fully embrace the holiday spirit without compromising on safety. By trusting LightsUpToday with their lighting needs, brands can confidently showcase their festive spirit while prioritizing the well-being of their customers and staff.
Cost-Effectiveness of Professional Services
While some businesses may consider DIY lighting solutions to save costs, the long-term benefits of hiring professionals far outweigh the initial savings. Professional commercial Christmas lighting not only ensures high-quality results but can also be more cost-effective in the long run. Professionals have access to commercial-grade lights and equipment that are designed for durability and efficiency, reducing the likelihood of malfunction or the need for replacements.
Additionally, by outsourcing lighting installation and maintenance, businesses can save time and resources that can be better spent on other aspects of their operations. LightsUpToday offers competitive pricing and tailored packages that cater to various budgets, making it easier for businesses of all sizes to invest in professional lighting solutions.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the importance of professional commercial Christmas lighting for your brand cannot be overstated. It serves as a vital tool for enhancing visibility, building brand identity, creating a festive atmosphere, boosting social media engagement, ensuring safety, and offering cost-effective solutions. By choosing experts like LightsUpToday, businesses can transform their spaces into festive wonderlands that attract and engage customers, fostering a sense of community and holiday cheer.
As the holiday season approaches, it’s time for businesses to think strategically about their lighting needs. Investing in professional Christmas lighting is not just about aesthetics; it’s about creating meaningful connections with customers and enhancing the overall brand experience. In a competitive landscape, standing out is essential, and professional lighting can be the key to achieving that competitive edge.

Sunday Morning Coffee: Christmas has Begun!
Now that the Thanksgiving turkey is picked clean and we’re recovering from an overload of football and pie, it’s time to focus on Christmas. I’ve seen posts today from people who are FINALLY enjoying their Christmas music, and many people put up their trees on Thanksgiving Friday. AND, many people enjoy Black Friday shopping. I do not. I don’t like shopping to begin with, never have. It’s a…

Agere sensories - visuals! (things I see!)
Tumblr media
Seeking:
fairy lights, night lamps, aquarium lamps, lava lamps, LED strips, christmas lights
online you can search up toy commercials, toy unboxing, pinterest, or the website that you're on right now, Tumblr! however make sure your blocked tags and phrases are secured before going through social media, especially as a little
if you're feeling confident, visit toy stores, libraries' kids sections, playgrounds! they're very stimulating, but remember to stay respectful on your visits :)
There's more to artsy life than coloring books! Bead bracelets, clay, stickers, collecting various things, journaling, baby books, finger painting, glitter!
To my fem leaning regressors, hairclips, jewelry, bright make-up (I do not recommend kids make-up as it doesn't have regulations, use adult make up in a childish way), animal headbands! To my neutral/masc regressors, pins, patches, funky shoelaces, sticker tattoos, keychains! Decorate yourself to stimulate yourself on gloomy days!
get food for kids! More colorful, maybe with a cute animal or a smile or dinos, the pretty juice bottles with cartoons? don't get me started. You can also get shape cutters for your veggies/sandwiches
stimboards, gifs!
customize your devices! Wallpapers, keyboards, AOD, widgets! You can even use gifs!
decorate your room and gear too! Coloring pages or other craft you're proud of, showing your favorite toys (if you're safe) colorful rugs! Make custom pacis, add stickers to your bottles, add cute labels!
stim toys, glow in the dark toys! Water toys, squishy balls with colors in them, orbeez, snowglobes, slime!
Avoidant:
Have nap times! They don't have to be a nap time, but you can make an hour to yourself, covering the windows and turning off the lights
There are settings on modern devices specifically targeted for visuals. Lower the brightness, get yourself a dark mode, have eye safety on
Get yourself fuzzy nighttime blindfolds, cute sunglasses, hats or hoodies that will limit your eye view (be careful to be protected, but functional if you're outside)
this is universal for any sensory suppression, but items for babies are your best friends if you're looking for less eye straining gear. (Especially with the beige mom trend being more popular, ha ha)
if you still want to watch baby shows, check low-stimulation lists. Also, usually shows directed at younger age range are slower. I also find vintage cartoons less overwhelming (but they're not guaranteed to be always slow and not stimulating)
You can order online instead of throwing yourself out to the chaotic, overwhelming stores
limit your screentime! Short-form content is easily overwhelming, and staring into a bright screen for x hours doesn't do your eyes a favor. It's okay to need breaks and not always be up to date with everything
if possible, pick safe times to do your errands where there's not a lot of people, like weekend mornings.
have a list of safe cartoons, safe colors, safe places, or other "safe" sensories. It's sometimes better to know what you're comfortable with!
remember, if it gets too much, it is always okay to back out. This is YOUR coping mechanism and nobody else's, it's up to YOU what you're okay and not okay with

I'll be home for Christmas - Bob Floyd x reader
Tumblr media
Summary: 1.4k words. Your husband has been deployed for 5 months. The holiday season is in full swing and you’re missing him. This is my entry for @lewmagoo's holiday celebration!
Warnings: language? Pining, angst, fluff & some more fluff
a/n: I wrote most of this in one sitting LAST MONTH. aaaaand then finals season descended upon me like a hoard of rabid locusts. so y'all get this holiday fic now, where it's technically still Christmas in some time zones!
Tumblr media
One hundred sixty-seven days.
It’s been 167 days since you last saw your husband.
Rather appropriately, the U.S. military wanted to ensure its service members and their families could celebrate Independence Day.
July 4th at the Floyd household was truly a sight to behold. Penny brought half a dozen pies, Bradley’s family brought Carole’s famous potato casserole, and the rest of the squad brought beer. Lots and lots of beer. Phoenix, however, had more taste than the rest of the boys–as you had repeatedly told them over the years–and brought over your favorite drink to share. Natasha helped you and Bob decorate your humble bungalow early that morning and helped you with food prep throughout the day in anticipation of the 4th of July cookout.
On the surface level, the party you hosted was simply to celebrate the national holiday. It was arguably also a send-off party, given that half the aviators illuminated by fairy lights in your backyard would be shipped off to an undisclosed location less than 24 hours from that moment.
167 days is equivalent to 4,008 hours or 240,480 minutes, according to your recent Google history.
December 19th welcomed you with a cold embrace and increasingly painful longing. In defense of December and the holidays and all the commercialism you found yourself falling willing victim to, you kind of did this to yourself. At no point were you required to watch three and a half hours straight of shitty Hallmark movies over peppermint bark and eggnog. But you did, as was your right and freedom as an American citizen, you mused to yourself against the lip of the lukewarm mug.
Uncle Sam was not your best friend as of late.
Being away from your husband for five and a half months didn’t make for the most pleased military spouse.
You normally counted your blessings when you could. At least during this deployment, you were able to have semi-regular and reliable contact with Bob. Unlike some of his other deployments, the worst being the 10-week stints with no contact or details whatsoever. But now, as you watched the female lead–who looked like every other holiday Hallmark leading lady you’d seen today and yesterday and the day before and the day before that and–who left her impressive job in the city kiss her generically handsome high school sweetheart in front of their small town’s Christmas tree farm, you were not counting 4,008 consecutive hours away from your husband as a blessing.
Bob’s initial deployment orders ensured he’d be home by the beginning of December. Some classified delays that were above your level of security clearance pushed that date back to December 23rd. When Bob had the misfortune of sharing this news with you, he thought the Facetime connection had frozen from how long your jaw remained dropped.
The daily countdown displayed front and center on the fridge was reminiscent of a prisoner’s tally marks.
The second worst part of long deployments like these was the funk you’d fall into. You were a strong independent woman, dammit. But you were also a woman who was deeply in love with her husband. You aren’t ready to accept it yet, but you’re nearly certain this specific deployment has deepened some wrinkles and brought forth a few strands of grey hair.
“You are beautiful, my love,” Bob would tell you, sweet as ever, anytime your thoughts crept toward self-consciousness.
You were still young and hip enough to go out on a Thursday night, right? The thought quickly left your head as you inspected the old sweatpants you wore and the nearest clock reading well past 10 p.m.. Bedtime. You didn’t want to get up off the couch and do the dishes or fold the blankets or turn off the TV or do anything, but because you’re a responsible adult, you at least start the Sisyphean tasks.
A shrill ringtone emanated from the living room and you damn near tripped over said blankets while sprinting to pick up the phone before it’s too late. With soapy hands, you swiped to answer–unsuccessfully at first; the dish soap suds were evidently plotting your downfall–and were relieved to hear the signature soft static of the connected call.
“Hi, honey,” Bob greeted gently. He was tired, you could hear it in his voice and you knew you’d be able to read it on his face too.
“Bobby!” A grin brighter than you’d felt in days broke out across your face. There is comfortable silence just for a moment where the two of you enjoy each other’s presence. You know his time for phone calls is limited, so you cherish every moment. Even the quiet ones. You spared a glance at the time, knowing now that it is unequivocally past bedtime. Not that any concept of time mattered right now.
“What time is it where you are?” you ask him, prying for details you don’t have the security clearance for. You both know better, but he still humors you.
“It’s getting a little late…” he says smugly, scratching the back of his neck. It’s a nervous tick, one that you can’t see at the moment. You hum in response. He can rarely tell you any specific details about where he is or what he’s doing. After years of this, you still bug him. He will swear until the day he dies that his greatest pleasure in life is being bugged by you.
You tell him about the shitty Hallmark movies you’ve been watching. You catch him up on the drama with your coworkers. Bob doesn’t want any kind of drama in his life, but he does indulge in some gossip about people that he’s never met. You tell him about the weather, about the shelter pets you’ve almost adopted close to ten times now, but agreed Bob should meet the fluffy friends too before welcoming them to their forever home. He listens as you review the final touches you’ve placed on the Christmas decorations, highlighting the anniversary ornaments hung proudly on the tree and the row of photographs from Christmases past with any and every Santa impersonator the two of you saw out in public. Because it’s totally normal for two adults to have a collection of such selfies.
There’s shuffling on the other end of the line and you’re half-worried you’ve rambled the man to sleep and the phone slipped from his grip. He hadn’t responded in a while–he was content to let you speak, or maybe he was snoozing.
“Bobby?” You say softly, hoping to get his attention, but not wanting to rouse him if he fell asleep. He deserves the rest.
Before he can answer, there’s a knock on the front door. What the fuck? You’d certainly considered ordering a pizza for delivery as dinner part 2, but you hadn’t actually placed the order. Or so you thought?
“Hold on, Bobby. Someone just knocked on the door…” you trail off, hesitantly tip-toeing toward your home’s entrance.
“Huh. That’s weird,” Bob remarks. You peer through the peephole and your heart stops. The phone clatters to the floor–the screen might’ve cracked, but you could not care less–as you wrench the door open, revealing the tall, handsome man you’ve been missing for 240,480 minutes.
“I can’t imagine someone would come to the door at this hour. It’s a little late, don’tcha think?” He says cheekily. You all but launch yourself into his arms. You bury your face into his warm neck and can’t stop the steady stream of tears flowing down your flushed face. Bob squeezes you tight like he’ll never let you go. His glasses are crooked on the bridge of his nose from the force of your body meeting his like a magnet, but he couldn’t see anything through his tears anyway. Eventually, you pull back, gasping for air as your eyes dance wildly across every inch of his body, making sure he’s really there and you aren’t dreaming. The feel of his firm lanky frame dressed in khaki and the way he simply smelled like home confirmed that for the first time in a long time, you felt complete.
“You’re here! You’re home!” you squeal, capturing his lips in a kiss that would have your neighbors clutching their pearls. Bob smiled into the kiss, every second of it rich in love and passion and making up for lost time. “I told you, honey,” Bob begins, punctuating every few words with kisses across your face. “I’ll be home for Christmas.”

Christmas at the Compound
Avengers x reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Avengers x reader Christmas head cannons because I am a sucker for the found family trope.
a/n: I tried to get this up before christmas but totally spaced it, so… tale it as a christmas morning gift! I tried to make it as age neutral as possible, so it could totally be teen!reader or not.
The holidays are a tough time for the Avengers.
Most of them have lost family members or friends, and the idea of celebrating anything is extremely difficult.
Tony especially - he always gets gloomy around the Holidays.
He always says something along the lines of, "I don't actually care about this, but its social convention."
But secretly he cares a lot.
He overcompensates for his lack of affection throughout the year by buying everyone the expensive gifts he knows they want but could never justify spending on themselves.
At surface level, it just seems like “oh rich guy is spending rich guy money”
But they’re actually really thoughtful gifts
Like last year, he got Peter a new laptop for school.
He bought Bucky new and thick clothes since all of his were old and worn.
He upgraded Clints cellular data so he could talk to his family anywhere.
Things like that.
Sam and Rhodey take one for the team and string the christmas lights on the tower
“It’s too cold for this.” Sam would complain, the sharp wind nipping at his cheeks as he flew from one end of the building to the other, lights in tow.
“Come one man, where’s your christmas spirit?” Rhodey would laugh
“I’m just doing this so stark’s power bill goes up.”
it really was worth it seeing the tower lit up top to bottom though
Wanda LIVES for commercialized American Christmas
"We have to make gingerbread houses and go to Rockefeller to see the Christmas tree and we have to go out to the snow and go sledding-"
She demands family Christmas photos be taken, even though you don't really have anyone to send them to.
This years theme was christmas pjs
Which lead to a few very interesting viral videos of the avengers in an Old Navy
“Tony come on the reindeer ones are cute!”
“Bruce. A man can not hold onto his masculinity while wearing pjs with dancing reindeer.”
Natasha gets tired of the bellyaching and bickering and makes the final decision
She grabs everyone’s size in the Reindeer pjs and marches to the front of the store
After snagging Tony’s credit card, of course.
Actually taking the picture is a whole other ball game, but that’s a story for another day
Thor has a hard time with the idea of Santa
You try to explain it to him, but it doesn’t seem to help
“So a fat man breaks into the safety of your home late into the night… and you let it happen because he comes baring gifts?”
“Well… yeah.”
“But only to nice children. That he stalks throughout the year.”
“He doesn’t stalk the children he just…”
“Hm.” He squints. “what about the naughty children?”
“They don’t get any presents.”
“OR,” Wanda interjects, “Krampus comes to get them.”
“Is that another fat man in a red disguise?”
“No. He’s a demon sent from hell to eat them.”
Thor nods in approval. “Ah. That’s much more asgardian. A fair reward system for the youth!”
You stare at him. “So… you’re okay with Krampus but not Santa?”
“Well I think they work together well, like a team. Like us!”
“I… I guess…”
Decorating the tree was an all night event
You would help happy bring up what felt like hundreds of boxes of christmas decorations
The tree itself was about 15 feet tall, because it wouldn’t be a holiday at the compound if you guys weren’t extra
It was placed in the living space, right next to a huge wall of windows so all of New York could see your festivity
it had to be decorated to the nines to pass Wanda’s inspection
Not a bare branch
Theres tinsel, ribbons, colorful lights, and hundreds of ornaments
But of course, ladders were a no go
You guys liked a challenge
To reach the higher branches, you and Natasha would stand on Steve and Buckys shoulders
And I mean stand
Not sit
It was a thrilling balancing game
You trusted them to catch you if you fell, but you still had to try to avoid it at all costs to save the tree from certain destruction
Peter would dangle from the ceiling, crawling around to hang ornaments toward the very top
Both of these acts nearly gave Bruce and Vision a heart attack
“CAP, you’re moving to fast shes gunna lose balance-“
“Bruce, please take a breath.”
Meanwhile Thor is getting distracted by all the ornaments and forgetting to actually hang them up
“This one’s a little man of snow! How silly!”
Speaking of ornaments
You all have an ornament of yourself on the tree
Or, your super hero alias at least
There’s a tiny black widow, a little iron man, a bity baby hulk, so on and so forth
Tony always demands his be the highest up on the tree to fuel his god complex
Drawing names out of a hat to see who got to put the star on top of the tree
(except you guys would always rig it behind Wanda’s back, only putting her name in the hat)
She would always protest, insisting to let someone else do it this year, but you guys never relented
So with a big cheesy grin on her face, she would use her magic to delicately place the star on the tippy top
You would think Natasha wouldn’t want to see the Nutcracker Ballet after her time in the red room
But it makes her so happy to see dancing as an art form instead of a way to brainwash young girls
She drags you, Clint, Wanda, and whoever else wants to tag along every year
She even splurges on front row seats
You look over and see her eyes glittering while she watches every turn, leap, and stunt intently
Leaving the theater, she’ll walk on her toes and do a few turns, encouraging you to try as well.
She ends up cackling watching you trip and stumble
“We’ll work on it.”
Can you IMAGINE the ginger bread making contest???
You’re all huddled around the long dining room table with christmas music playing
Theres Clint and Natasha, who just make the classic gingerbread house, no fancy bells or whistles.
Then there’s Bruce,Tony, and Peter who are going absolutely wild building gingerbread sky scrapers and gingerbread hotels.
“Mr. Stark look, I made a working elevator!”
Bruce puts an electric system (fairy lights) through his
Steve and Bucky rebuild their childhood homes
Wanda is going all out, delicately hand placing every candy and covering the whole thing in edible glitter
Visions is pretty similar, but more sleek and modern than Wanda’s
And then there’s Thor, who’s totally missing the point and just DUMPING everything on top
“Hey Peter, I think yours is missing something.”
You string a long thread of white rope candy from his structure to yours.
“Webs!”
“You know… we can probably make a web-like consistency with some starch and frosting…”
That becomes a whole sticky project, but you eventually get it to work, connecting everyone’s gingerbread houses with icing webs
Steve and Bucky are TOTALLY participating in the classic christmas traditions they grew up on.
They sit quietly together in the living room, making paper chains and stringing popcorn
“Do you mind if I join you guys?”
they smile gently. “Of course not.”
You sit crisscross in front of the couch while they teach you
They tell you stories of christmases long, long ago, which feels kinda silly considering they’re talking like grandpas while not appearing much older than you
On Christmas eve, you’re all there except for Clint, who went home to his family
Youre all dressed in your pajamas from the christmas card
You make hot coco and cider
Wanda pops in some old vhs tapes and you watch the classics late into the night
“Alright you nutcrackers,” tony would say around midnight. “I know you want to stay up and catch Santa, but he’s not coming if you all stay awake.”
he really just wanted to go to bed
He sauntered off, calling for lights out.
Most of the boys wandered away to their rooms, leaving you, Wanda, Nat and Thor not quite ready for sleep.
“So,” you ask, taking a sip of coco, “Do you guys think we’re on the naughty list?”
Natasha Chuckled. “I’m not sure. Does beating people up count as naughty if you’re taking down the bad guys?”
Thor set his mug down on the coffee table, the bells on his sweater jingling. “Do not fear ladies, I will catch that nasty Krampus if he comes in to devour your soul. I believe you were doing the right thing.”
You all laughed, thinking he was joking. But he just stared at you.
“Thor… you realize Krampus and Santa aren’t… real?” Wanda asked.
He had a hard time swallowing that.
He ended up sleeping on the couch “just in case”
you woke up at 3 am to a loud clattering coming from the living room
You decided to check it out against your better judgement
There was Thor. Hammer in one hand, cookie in another.
Down the hall toward the elevator was a completely destroyed life-size nutcracker.
“What the hell are you doing?”
“I thought I heard something by the elevator.”
“Congratulations. You murdered the Nutcracker.”
“I feared he was an accomplice of the holiday demon.”
“He’s been there for weeks!”
“He could have been a spy. Or possessed.”
“Goodnight Thor.”
Christmas Morning finally arrived
Everyone was sleeping soundly in their beds
Until Sam decided to be a little shit and wake everyone up at 7 am
He pounded on every. single. bedroom door.
“Y/NNNN. SANTA CAME TO TOWNNNNN.” he sing-songed
“No he didn’t.” You grumbled. “Thor killed him.”
“… I don’t know what that means.”
You all stumble out into the living room
Natasha took the time to actually run a brush through her hair and do her morning skincare
You and wanda were far too excited and skipped over that completely, barely remembering to brush your teeth
Tony looked the roughest - he had a silk robe draped over his pjs and looked like he was just awakened from a coma
Essentially, everyone was a little disheveled
Vision made everyone coffee before you started the gift exchange
You all sat around the coffee table in a circle so everyone could see each other
Bruce and Steve passed out the gifts from under the tree
it took a solid few minutes, there was a MOUNTAIN of presents
You went one at a time opening gifts
Some people think this is awkward, but you felt it was more genuine
this way, everyone can see the gift and the joy on the receivers face
as well as a million “thank you”s
It also gave time for the giver to explain why they chose the gift they did, whether it be something they remembered you said you wanted, something they knew you needed, or even just a simple “this made me think of you”
In the end, you loved all your gifts
And everyone loved what you got for them
But mostly, you were just happy to spend the holiday with your family
