I'm curious how long will it take for the MC to recover from the new surgery assuming its successful? Will it be like a month of them hobbling around or like a day of them coming back like

MC will be bedridden for about two weeks, then have have another week or so to get back on their feet, so it'll be about a month of recovery! And then a lot of it is about MC reacquainting themself with their abilities... which may go smoother for some than others... 👀

The funniest thing this Nikke event could do is, after all is said and done, someone asks Commander how they dealt with Simulator Syuen following their "heroic sacrifice" and we get a flashback of Commander flirting with fake Syuen which makes her short circuit and explode.

I can’t play Nikke due to my outdated devices, so I settle for following my friends’ playthroughs in discord and one of my female friends is playing, because she got interested in the atmosphere (she even said her other friend asked “why are you playing the tits and ass game?”). In her playthrough, the Commander is a recently graduated officer from the academy named Ayato, whose real name is Ayaka and has to pull a Mulan and cross-dress her way through the war (only Anis knows she’s a girl, but Anis has one braincell so Ayaka will be fine). That made me realize Nikke is a completely different story (changing absolutely nothing) if the Commander is a straight woman, because nikkes are essentially people stripped of their humanity and are in constant danger of going berserker once they realize that and have to adapt personalities that are male-friendly anime stereotypes to keep a semblance of sanity, so the results of giving them a female authority figure (even if she’s crossdressing) turn out to be different (if she’s the first female Commander).

Sakura Nikke is so funny, she keeps talking to the Commander about true love, like she lives for those shoujo romance tropes about soul mates and monogamous domestic bliss despite being a yakuza boss, but the person she's professing all her love for is a massive slut. Like Sakura is going on about the Commander being hers and only hers, settling down together, and not sharing what's hers, while the Commander is looking at the camera like they're on The Office because they BOTH know that the Commander is getting railed by like 20 other Nikkes and Sakura ain't even at the top of the list, but she's just confident she'll be able to get them whipped enough if she just keeps at it.
