Best Kpop Songs of 2020
My rules for this were very loose like these are supposed to be title tracks but I’m pretty sure there are like, digital singles on this list, or just songs that had a music video...? Some of them don’t even have a video but they were promoted still IIIiiI don’t fucking know whatever. I also wasn’t sure if I should count songs like Dynamite, Ice Cream, or 100 Ways? Because they’re in all English but they’re from kpop artists??? But then I did anyway so whatever it’s not that deep.
>> Listen to it on Spotify <<
(the spotify list is backwards) (or i guess this list is backwards) (so like this one ends with the best song) (the spotify playlist starts with the best song) (because logic)

Hyundai's Veloster N's DCT Has Some Really Cool Driving Modes
Tumblr media
Hot Hatchbacks have been an enormous part of the automotive scene in many nations for many years. Hot Hatch enthusiasts are already proportionally fewer in the United Declares, but it has started to catch up. Along with large, loud, and fast muscle mass cars few and expensive ahead by, the American people are beginning to figure out that there are, in fact , options outside of the Bitchin' variety , Blue Oval's old horse , or the 4, 500lb ship named after Satan's kitten .
With that in mind, you would anticipate the best hot hatches to come from your typical legendary JDM companies, nevertheless , the Koreans apparently want to place their name in the running too with the Hyundai Veloster N equipped which includes very cool features as explained simply by Jason of Engineering Explained.

In the day, manual car's ruled the field of performance. Cars with a manual had been both faster and more fuel effective, depending on how you drove. Neither will be the case anymore. Especially with the growing popularity of dual clutch gears (DCT) , manuals are no longer the particular kings of speed. DCT's have the ability to shift faster than the blink of an eye , and offer the driving force many different performance advantages by changing the particular transmission shift strategy. Hyundai has been doing this by offering four crucial driving modes with their DCT: Release Control, N Grin Shift Setting, N Power Shift Mode, plus N Track Sense Shift Setting.
Tumblr media
Launch control is definitely nothing new and has been accessible in many supercars, sports cars, and also modern muscle cars. Systems differ by manufacturer, but generally launch manage allows the driver to launch the vehicle at a personal or factory arranged rpm, and then mash the accelerator while holding the brake. When the driver lifts off the brake, the device acts as  a very aggressive grip control, minimizing wheel spin plus maximizing engine torque.
Hyundai's N Grin Shift Mode offers the driver 20 seconds of additional boost from the 2 . 0L turbo charge engine at the push of a key. N Grin Shift Mode has been said to increase engine torque by 18lb-ft, up to 278lb-ft.

Both of these modes work by transforming the shift logic in the tranny based on driver input. N Strength Shift mode activates when the motorist is in N-Mode and is at 90% throttle or higher. What it does can be keeps the engine in its maximum power range when shifting, offering the driver increased acceleration. In fact , Hyundai says that 0-60 with In Power Shift Mode is attained 0. 2 seconds faster compared to without it.
In Track Sense Shift Mode is a great feature that changes the change logic to be more sporty plus aggressive when it detects the driver's driving style becomes more sports activity oriented. This driving mode is specially useful on a track. When examined at Hyundai's Namyang High Speed Dealing with Track, it beat their expert driver's ability to shift, improving lap period by a whole 2 . 6 mere seconds over not using Track Feeling Shift Mode.
Moving yourself may still be more interesting, but sadly the electronics are simply better at it than we have been.

31 Korean nationals leave Iloilo
#PHnews: 31 Korean nationals leave Iloilo
ILOILO CITY – A total of 31 Korean nationals have left Iloilo City as of Thursday.
Of the figure, 19 were supposed to attend the “RUN (Revival Unity for Next Generation) for Jesus” event set on Thursday but its permit was canceled by the city government, focal person for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), Dr. Roland Jay Fortuna, said in an interview.
Of the 19 Korean nationals, 14 passed through the Kalibo International Airport while five left via the Iloilo International Airport.
He said the cancellation of the event made the Koreans decide to go home instead.
Fortuna visited the Great Vision Church in Barangay Bolilao in Mandurriao district for a closed-door meeting with the organizers of the “RUN for Jesus” event on Wednesday afternoon and met with the Korean nationals.
He noted that the Korean delegates to the religious event did not manifest any symptoms of Covid-19.
Meanwhile, a family of 12 tourists who arrived only on Wednesday also decided to leave the city upon learning of the city government’s action regarding Korean travelers.
“We informed them regarding the executive order of the mayor on quarantine. They understood and just this morning, they already flew out (going home),” Fortuna added.
On Tuesday, Mayor Jerry P. Treñas signed Executive Order 039 that urged all Korean nationals traveling from Korea to Iloilo to self-quarantine.
Fortuna said based on Treñas’ order, the 31 Korean nationals were considered as persons under monitoring.
On the other hand, Dr. Robert Senining of the Great Vision Church and event chairman of the “RUN for Jesus” said they tentatively moved their event to April 30.
Senining said they still expect more than 20,000 people to join the event with Senator Manny Pacquiao as a guest. It will be a nationwide religious campaign as they expect guests from Luzon, Mindanao, and parts of the Visayas.
The presence of Korean delegates would depend on the Covid-19 situation.
“I think they will be discouraged this time but if the coronavirus will subside and there will be no more issues about the coronavirus, we might be able to invite some Koreans also. But if the coronavirus is still very high in Korea, we already instructed our Korean partners not to come,” he said in a separate interview.
Senining said they would abide by the advice of the Department of Health to ensure the health of their delegates. “Sanitation is still very important to us and we will comply with that,” he added. (PNA)

Sunday's Rodong Sinmun newspaper, the official mouthpiece of the ruling Worker's Party of Korea, called out what it claims were US military movements in the region as practice for a potential invasion of Pyongyang.
North Korean state media has accused the US of plotting to "unleash a war" on North Korea while continuing to negotiate "with a smile on its face."
Sunday's Rodong Sinmun newspaper, the official mouthpiece of the ruling Worker's Party of Korea, called out what it claims were US military movements in the region as practice for a potential invasion of Pyongyang.
The strongly-worded piece comes just days after President Trump canceled a planned trip to North Korea by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
On Monday, South Korea said that Pompeo's abrupt cancelation is having an "effect" on the inter-Korean liaison office that was slated to open this month.
North Korean state media has accused the US of plotting to "unleash war" on the country while continuing to negotiate "with a smile on its face."
Sunday's Rodong Sinmun newspaper, the official mouthpiece of the ruling Worker's Party of Korea, called out "extremely provocative and dangerous" US military movements in the region.
The paper cited a South Korean radio broadcast claiming that US "special units" in Japan staged a flying drill in the Philippines simulating "the infiltration into Pyongyang."
It also claimed that the USS Michigan, a nuclear Navy submarine, transported Green Berets and other special forces from Okinawa, Japan to the Jinhae naval base south Korea in late July or early August.
"Such acts prove that the US is hatching a criminal plot to unleash a war against the DPRK [North Korea] and commit a crime which deserves merciless divine punishment in case the US fails in the scenario of the DPRK's unjust and brigandish "denuclearization first."
"We can not but take a serious note of the double-dealing attitudes of the US as it is busy staging secret drills involving man-killing special units while having a dialogue with a smile on its face," the op-ed reads.
The US military called the accusations made in the paper "far-fetched," according to the Washington Post.
The strongly-worded piece comes just days after President Trump canceled a planned trip to North Korea by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Trump on Friday said the plans were halted because the North Korea had not made "sufficient" efforts to denuclearize and because of the trade war with China, the regime's closest ally.
"Secretary Pompeo looks forward to going to North Korea in the near future, most likely after our Trading relationship with China is resolved. In the meantime I would like to send my warmest regards and respect to Chairman Kim. I look forward to seeing him soon!" Trump said in a series of tweets Saturday.
Reports have indicated that relations between North Korea and the US are growing sour after the US asked North Korea to reveal its secret nuclear facilities, and they claimed none existed.
Some independent assessments have suggested that North Korea may actually be increasing its nuclear production.
On Monday, South Korea said that Pompeo's abrupt cancelation is having an "effect" on the inter-Korean liaison office that was slated to open this month.
"We were thinking of the opening of the liaison office as part of a smooth series of schedules including Secretary of State Pompeo's North Korea visit then the inter-Korean summit," South Korea's presidential Blue House spokesman Kim Eui-kyeom said Monday.
"Now that a new situation has arisen, there is a need to inspect it again accordingly."

Politics: The historic summit between South Korea and North Korea is being planned down to the millimeter — this is everything we know so far
South Korea's Peace House has been completely revamped to be more "stylish" while a joint rehearsal ensured sunlight wouldn't interfere with broadcasts.
Preparations for the Inter-Korea summit on April 27 have been extensive.
The table the two leaders will sit at will be exactly 2,018 millimeters wide and is designed to look like two bridges merging into one.
The meeting will take place in South Korea's Peace House which has been completely renovated to seem more "stylish."
The two countries held a joint rehearsal on Wednesday to ensure each detail was accounted for, including the exact position of the sun during Kim Jong Un's walk across the border.
South Korea is of the belief that you can never be too prepared, organizing each element of its historic summit with North Korea on Friday down to the last millimeter.
At 9.30 a.m. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will walk over the border separating the two countries to meet South Korean President Moon Jae-In before they, and their delegations, walk into South Korea's Peace House.
The two will enter the main meeting room — which is designed to look like the inside of a traditional Korean house — at the same time, before sitting at a table made to have a symbolic width of 2,018 millimeters.
The new table is also designed to look like two bridges coming together, and is just one part of what will be a symbolism-filled day.
There will be a tree-planting ceremony, with soil and water taken from a mountain and river in each Korea, and a curated dinner menu, where each carefully selected item tells a story about the Koreas and their leaders.
But before all the symbolism, South Korea has been hurriedly renovating the 30-year-old Peace House that will act as the backdrop to the historic meeting and be broadcast live around the world.
The building had red carpets installed, new works of art have been placed, the wallpaper is refreshed, furniture is updated, and fresh paint adorns the corridors to give the place a more "stylish" look. The original blue vinyl entrance has been removed.
There were also significant upgrades made to electronics and security equipment in the building, as well as the creation of a situation room on the third floor.
To prepare for the Inter-Korean summit, South Korea held its own rehearsal on Tuesday and the two countries will do a final walk-through on Thursday.
But the Koreas held a joint rehearsal on Wednesday with no detail left unaccounted-for.
The rehearsal began at the same time of day that Kim will walk across the border line to ensure the sunlight won't interfere with the live broadcast. The two countries then acted out greetings and introductions in the Peace House and both countries checked the setup and location of cameras and spotlights.
But Kim will also be bringing some of his own equipment, as the leader apparently never travels without his own personal toilets.
"The leader’s excretions contain information about his health status so they can’t be left behind," Lee Yun-keo, a former member of the North Korean Guard Command, told The Washington Post.
While in South Korea, US General Vincent Brooks, who is the head of the UN Command, will be in charge of Kim's security.
But of all the preparations, South Korea has admitted no accommodation has been organized for Kim, indicating there is little-to-no chance of the summit being extended beyond April 27.
