about endo never truly learning the idea of being lowkey about anything. about him being intense in every aspect of his life, about loving and being infatuated so deeply by everything he even dares to care about.

about how being in a secret relationship would hold him back so much. and he'd be pissed about it but he would understand it so well because he doesn't want to give up on fighting and also he doesn't want to give up on you. so it's whatever, he will try it. for the sake of having fun without hurting what you have, he will try it.

I wrote that part specifically by the idea of his s/o being aware of who the relationship is with. you gotta know that he adores the ground you walk, that he's obsessed with being around you, just like he's with other things, and that just means he loves you. its kinda fucked up. but when he says those stuff you can only hear "I love you" and honestly, takes a while to get used to it, but what else can you ask?

it's about the idea of helping him through it too, you know? constant reminder that when the infatuation is gone, there's still love. when the fights aren't fun or when shit happens, things get messy, there's still your love. :)

God now I’m thinking about the general parallels between 1x07 with Rayla and The Queen’s Mercy with Kim’Dael because like

Operating under false pretenses?

Kim’dael pretended that their gazes burned. She pretended she was ashamed. She pulled her hood over her head to hide her face—and the smirk upon her lips. [...] “I am not worthy of forgiveness.” Kim’dael shook her head and briefly shut her eyes as though she held back a fit of weeping. “My crimes are myriad, it is true—but my sorrow is infinite. Should you compel the dragons to spare me, my Queen, I pledge all of my remaining days to repaying your mercy. Look into my eyes and you will see only repentance! Only truth!”

Being horribly burned?

Suddenly it was as though the queen’s hand closed around Kim’dael’s neck, burning as hot as the sun itself. Kim’dael reeled back, screaming, the world turned red with pain. Her skin blistered. She could smell the charring of her own flesh.

She clawed at her neck and found a clasp of metal wrapping from her throat to the back of her neck, still molten, searing her flesh as it cooled. Kim’dael writhed with agony on the floor, swallowing pain and the taste of fire.

Seemingly unbreakable chains

“I did not lie. That collar claims you as mine, and as I told you, the dragons know better than to risk my wrath.” Aditi gestured to the thing around Kim’dael’s neck. “Forgiveness shall not come easily to one so stained with blood as you, Kim’dael. Not without a price. It is as you said: you will spend all of your remaining days repaying my mercy. You shall owe a mercy debt. A debt owed to me—and all my rightful heirs. [...] But know this: the binding around your neck—it is made with magic not unlike your own. It is a magic that demands, that takes. Kill me, and that binding will take you. But where Kim’Dael is always self serving and deceptive, Rayla is merciful and sincere/genuine. And it’s just -- aah it’s so good

Was talking to a johivah's witness and a Baptist today(my mom is SO irritated I won't just send them away but what can I say....I got curious and they already know i'm catholic) ...and they asked me why I'm curious about the bible.....and I told them about hazbin hotel.....I told these nice sweet ladys about HAZBIN HOTEL. And then talked about the possible theming and intent. about about forgivness and redemption themes in the show(plus the musicals) and how I'm curious about literature that the show pulled from....and that was 15 minutes ago and now I'm horrified because what if these ladies look it up!!!!!

thinking about the sonic 2 premiere i went to alone, at like 3pm (it was def early afternoon but not sure when) with just like 5 other people in the room (moms with kids) and how everyone left before the credits ended and i was sitting there Gripping the fuck out of the seat in front of me after the whole movie and then seeing post creds shadow i yelled (quietly) (sorry to the staff guy coming in to clean) it was the best movie experience ive ever had cant believe its been almost 2 years now

also the very next day i went to see it again with a friend to show him what the fuck i just saw and also make sure what i saw was actually real and not a daydream

author’s note. here she is 🥺 this didn’t take too long to write out, which is very surprising. it is extremely impossible for me to write a 10k fic over the course of two days. i think i’m just really ingested in soulmate!aus and it just triggers so much imagination and creativity. anyways, enough of my ramble, i hope you enjoy this fic as much as i enjoyed writing it! also, it’s unedited so if there are any mistakes, i’m apologizing in advance!

It would be an utter lie for you to say that Jeong Jaehyun didn’t have a tiny little spot reserved for him in your heart. It was like he packed your feelings for him in a suitcase and brought it along with him on the trip to your heart. But just like that tiny spot you have for him in your heart, your courage to tell him how you feel is just as tiny. Maybe a bit tinier.

Today in Dragons’ crack pot theories / belated conspiracy theories, I’ve always thought the 2019 con skit of Callum and Rayla stargazing, written when the crew had first started to really develop S4 and done at cons for S3 promo, was likely to have some foreshadowing due to lines like, “That’s poetic Callum,” and Callum mentioning the South Star and “What about that? Brightest star in the sky. A single point of light. We call it the South Star. Humans used it to navigate, you know, to find their way in the endless darkness of the night” (and with S5, Ocean, surely having to do with navigation, darkness, stars, etc). And not just because the skit was literally called “Written in the Stars.” 

However I realized yesterday that there are things mentioned that can absolutely apply to the star chart, even if there aren’t quite enough constellations mentioned to match up perfectly, Moonshadow or human wise.

The soup ladle Callum mentions is a pretty good fit for the figure with the long instrument I forget the name of

Callum’s “two fish who are friends” also fits the pair of Glow Toads / Bait(s) on the map as a sort of pisces figure (makes sense that it’d be something a tad fancier than fish on the Xadian side) with a bonus mini implied cycle to boot

The crab / Garlaf’s fists could refer to the eldritch horror abomination swirling mess or the bottom right dragon

The sled could be the cuddle monkey dual playing a violin / cello

It seems like the elven figure with the shield despite the big ram-like horns more characteristic of Earthblood elves is indeed Garlaf, as Rayla cites his bandolier of skulls, and you can see him wearing a band of skulls across his chest, so he’s there for sure. 

The mama Banther and the baby Banther, lifted form our real world Ursa major and Ursa minor, are also explicitly here

And last but not least we have the South Star - where else - in the bottom left southwestern corner

“You really should’ve just walked into traffic last night.”

“Excuse me?” Rosa’s voice rings faintly in her own ears. The interviewer leaves the sentence curling on the table between them, blinking owlishly at her. 

“Well, I was saying you can just tell me anything you think the company should know. about you, while you’re considered for the position,” the examiner repeats, some flat annoyance creeping into the words. The shock clanging around Rosa’s ears latches onto it, rage snapping up through her chest and hitting nothing, snarling at an empty chamber as her heart limps out of her teeth.

“I… apologize, I, misheard you. My fault, thank you for elaborating,” she says, feeling the words glide over her tongue as she convinces her hands not to lunge over the desk.

She walks from the yellowing back office two minutes later with a promise for future contact, and a mouth filled with dust and blood and printer ink. She will not remember the drive home.
