every other year: subtle color palettes befitting of the print and overall theme. the pink is a dusty muted rose and the blue is an antique blue/navy. it evokes that natural tea dyed sort of feeling even if it wasn't. has the iconic meta raschel lace. the true embodiment of the old school style. She is very beautiful to me in every colorway and cut actually

2008: before i say anything that mannequin's face is absolutely horrifying but not the point. the satin bows on the bodice are so shiny and costumey looking and the tulle lace does not do it any favors. but onto the more important part: That is nowhere near the same shade of pink. if you got an accessory or main piece to match something from another year of this same release it will not match at all. it's a bright bunny tongue pink and doesn't have that same nostalgic feeling that the other releases give you (like it's something you could dust off and find in your grandma's attic) The charm is simply lost.. UPCOMING QUICKSTARTER INFO

So my Kickstarter is failing despite extreme efforts to market, which I'm going to assume are due to the economy and smaller-pledge campaigns doing much better. I still want to see what happens with the campaign in its last days, but plan to launch this quickstarter within a week of it ending regardless of the outcome. If you've been following my recent posts and stories, you'll see that I've been working on spooky girl pins and acrylic charms!!

What you do NOT know is that they're all stretch goals for another project, which is 160cm satin shoelaces with this print in 5 colors, with silver branded aglets. White with pink print, pink with black print, mint with pink print, purple with black print, black with pink print. I chose silver, because most shoes with grommets in the lace holes use silver ones. 😊 There are also lace locks in the initial goal (bat shaped of course!!) that I will reveal next.

This is something I want launched for back-to-school, essentially, since new shoes are often a part of the back to school ritual~😋 The stretch goals will be 1 spooky girl each, for funding of 100 pins and 50 charms. The bat and moon pins I revealed recently will be a stretch goal mixed in with them, with 3 colorways and the sticker design I shared. The moons of the pins will be glow in the dark!! The initial goal will be $1215; a pair of laces will be $6 early bird, $8 the second week; a pair of lace locks will be $10 first week and $12 the second; and each stretch goal pin will be $12, with the keychains being $10. Stretch goal rewards will not have early bird pricing even if raised within the first week.

These pins will be pretty huge, over 2 inches, hard enamel, so retail after the campaign will be $14. Stickers with the bat pins (also $12 because of the glow) will be free with the pins. The keychains will be 2.75 tall, double sided, with alternate expressions on the back. 😘 (Here are the three stretch goals I have 100% completed already)
