Twelve years ago today I graduated high school in the top 20 of my class. I couldn't have done it without the help of the fantastic teachers and of course my beautiful mother! Now I'm about to start my first semester of college next week. It's all online, so I can still go to work and take classes at the same time!

Christina accidentially rushed into Marianne, who drank her green tea with a sense of nonchalance. The bump made the drink shake from her left hand, and almost sent Marianne into the whiteboard. On it were a variety of equations, which find themselves lost and found again.

"Hey, if you ever needed a favor, you could've just called." Marianne muttered, before putting her tea down on the couch. Several drops remained on the edge of her denim jacket, which she struggled to ignore as they imbued its heat on her wrist. "What's up?"

"Nothing, just a bit stressed before winter break," Christina sighed, leaning herself against the whiteboard. It spun around a bit, before Marianne steadied it with her palm.

She gave a slight smile, before replying, "Now that Yale has sent me the bad news, I have to hedge my hopes for everything else. It's wild."

"How much did you want to get in?"

"Pretty badly," Marianne said. "If only to split with my siblings and go somewhere else. I've heard Hana wanted to go abroad though--possibly to Germany."

Christina smiled, wiping a stray name from the board. She took a moment to wallow in her melancholy before turning around and scanning the fiction section. As she perused the pages of a random book, she tried to brush a lock of hair away, though she noticed a bit of grease too.

"Marianne, are we happy?"

The other girl gasped for a brief moment.

"I don't think you would be, why?"

Christina shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know if anything is worth it. With the Tatler gone and all, I'm still trying to make things right."

officially made my high school graduation plan being college bound!!!

i have most of my courses planned, extracurriculers planned/set up, and i'm figuring out financing for it all!!

figuring out what college i want to go to still, but i have a few top choices!

hey frank, finals week just started for me and it got me thinking, do you have any crazy college stories?

I don't have anything really "crazy," but my college dorms were often very small and had paper-thin walls and I often spent my free time in my room writing very long, stream-of-consciousness tumblr posts which I had no idea if anyone would see, and I've always had trouble waking up in the morning, and sometimes when I wanted to get up in the morning I used to just start running in place in my room to get my heart rate up and I'd sweat a lot and my dorm room in the mornings was pretty hot and humid and my roommate thought I was having a meltdown sometimes until I mentioned I was just running in place to get myself to wake up

So, in college, if you were in my room at 7 AM, I was either:

1) standing up with my arms stretched out, bouncing as fast as I could on my toes, almost in a jogging stance, with a dazed and determined look on my face,

2) laying in bed, awake and fully dressed, exuding a distinct odor of sweat, writing a tumblr post,

or 3) asleep.

@bebepac Lovely to see Ellie blossom into a university-going student, wanting to fit in and also trying to get used to life without her parents and the palace. Nic and Ellie make sure a sweet pair together and the banter between her and Libby was hilarious! Especially heartwarming were the parts where the family were having cheerwine and bantering over drinking ages, and her making friends at the end of the story! So excited to see this lovely family!!

Maurice also graduated High School as valedictorian.

College wasn't as easy as his parents made it seem. It was easy for them to say because back in their days, college wasn't a thing for them. Maurice only loved one girl his entire being and that is Seonna. He adores her. Although their roommate came on strong, and he enjoyed hearing her play the guitar, he let her know that he was not interested.

One day, Maurice just so happened to walk in the bathroom while Meiloni was showering. He had no idea she was in there because she had her own little space upstairs with a full bathroom. Why would she want to use their bathroom? Later that day, Mei was mopping through the house as if something was on her mind so Maurice, being the good guy he is, tried to be a good friend and talk her through whatever issues she was having.

That went left. What was supposed to be support turned into him wiping her tears away to him slapping those cheeks till they turned red...Smh Maybe him and Seonna got more things in common than they thought. So anyway, things started to go left after that and Maurice ended up confessing to Seonna about the incident that happened with Mei. He had to remind her that she was losing her mind behind the whole thing.

Seonna and Maurice were inseparable after everything that happened. His favorite big cuz, Samiya paid him a visit. It's always good to see her. Soon it was time for both him and London to graduate. They crammed so hard for their last week that they ended up graduating a day early!

Recently, I've been editing scenes for a musical I've written. It made me look back to a pivotal scene from it, in which Andrei Petrescu, the student body president, tries to go on a spiel. Either way, Elizabeth is encouraged to make a move, but I'm not sure how to approach it.

Andrei:

You see, we are all college-bound, but we are all in trouble. We have senior year issues to deal with: setting the tone for the underclassmen, leading our various clubs, assuring the school wouldn’t fall apart after our graduation. (Lifts the sabre so that the point was near Diego’s neck, and makes him stare at him.) 

We were once innocent freshmen, and now we have been corrupted. We have to compete—we want to go to the college of our dreams, don’t we? (Beat as Diego tries to flick sabre away, but Andrei thrusts it again.) 

But me, I have a greater responsibility than you can ever conceive: leading the school! Not just all the classes, not just all that, but I was elected to the President’s office for a reason! 

I am bound to improve Lakeside School, no matter what it takes! She deserves a fair, beautiful, and established captain like me. Not like you, a slanderous, vain, and cynical sarcastic person.
