Mentre escono letteralmente fuori come i funghi d'autunno inquietanti indiscrezioni sull'affaire #Diddy, urge compiere un ulteriore passo indietro, chiudendo il cerchio attorno il fantomatico "club del 25", ovvero quelle persone morte il 25esimo giorno di mesi e anni diversi e le cui perdite sembrano essere correlate al rapper e produttore.

Il 25 aprile del 2002, in un incidente automobilistico che ricorda, per certi versi, quello del compianto attore #paulwalker, muore la componente delle #TLC Lisa "#lefteye" Lopes. La performer avrebbe perso il controllo dell'auto che andava a folle velocità; ma da cosa, o da chi la Lopes stava fuggendo? Secondo alcune indiscrezioni, la cantante delle TLC pare stesse scappando dal suo compagno di allora, #CliveDavis, un amico di vecchia data di Sean Combs - vero nome di Diddy -. Ironia della sorte, anche la morte della star della r'n'b #Aaliyah ricorda, neanche troppo vagamente, il decesso dell'ex star NBA #CobeBryant, anch'egli probabilmente presente ai White Parties di Diddy.

Ancora più controverso il nesso tra la dipartita del re del pop #MichaelJackson (morto il 25/09/2009) e Puff Daddy. Jacko era impegnato in una battaglia legale contro la Sony e la Universal, quest'ultima capitanata da un amico di Diddy e anch'egli finito nel registro degli indagati. Al momento della morte, la star - noto per non avere peli sulla lingua, e perciò considerato personaggio scomodo - aveva su libro paga #faheenmuhammad, capo della sicurezza di Jackson e, dopo la sua morte, proprio di Diddy. Caso strano, Muhammad fu tra i primi a vedere il cadavere del re del pop, morto per un'overdose di farmaci costata una condanna al suo medico #conradmurray.
