If you’re promoting ClickFunnels as an affiliate then you don’t need to actually be a customer in order to promote it. This enables anyone to get started quickly as an affiliate.

However, once you have earned enough as an affiliate to pay for a ClickFunnels account ($97 recurring per month) then I would highly recommend you also become a customer.

But why should I also be a customer myself..??

Here are the reasons why…

Once you are using the software yourself it will be much easier for you to promote it. This is because you will have more detailed knowledge of how it works and all the things you can do with it.

Secondly, (and more importantly) one of the quickest and easiest ways to promote ClickFunnels is by using the “share funnels”.

All you need to do is collect some popular share funnel templates or create some yourself if the mood takes you, and share them across the internet.

Once someone signs up for an account via one of your share funnels, you make a sale!

Now, the regular price to be a customer is $97 per month. However, with this account, you can only have a maximum of 20 funnels in your account. So, once you’ve made a few sales and built up at least $300 of recurring monthly income as an affiliate (which is very easy to do promoting this product), I’d recommend upgrading your account to the Etison suite. You’ll then be able to have an unlimited number of funnels you can share.

Share Funnels Explained

Share funnels enable you to create a funnel in your account and share it with another person who also has an account. If they don’t have an account then when they click on your share funnel link they’ll be taken to a page to sign up for a 14-day free trial and presto, you make a commission.

Now, the beauty of this strategy to recruit customers as an affiliate is that you don’t even need to create the funnels yourself.

There are various places online where you can find share funnels that other people have created and if you’re already a customer you can simply pull them into your account for free.

You can then re-share these funnel templates and if a person signs up through a share funnel link that you shared then you get the commission. The person who is the original creator of the share funnel will also get a second tier commission in the process, so it’s a win, win, win!

Once you’ve got these templates into your account, start sharing them all over the internet. Some ideas to help you are Facebook groups, blog posts, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter Tumblr and forums.
